Good morning Treepers. I am grateful for those who gave it all today, and pray that I can be aware and treat the sacred freedom I have every day with honor for those who purchased it.

Israel Update:
-Since the Operation Gideon’s Chariots started min May the IDF attacked 2,900 times.  
About 800 terrorists were killed for sure but the estimation is that a lot more in fact. 
11 Battalion and Deputy Battalion commanders were killed. 18 Company Commanders, 11 Hamas governing people, 12 commanders in the field of empowerment of Hamas and two Intelligence figures were all killed.  .  

The IDF estimates that Hamas still has tens to few hundreds long range missiles and hundreds to a few thousands short range missies and mortars.  The IDF established four aid distribution centers, three at the south and one at the center.  The estimation is that 11,000 packages will be given out at each center per day.  Each package will be enough for five days to a week for a family of five.  The whole aid distribution may nit be enough and there are reports that some aid will still go to the North in the old way.  In Israel there is an opposition to it. So we will see.  

The IDF controls now around 40% of the Gaza Strip and on this stage it is expected to control about 75% within two months. 

There is a concept of taking over the south and North and pushing the Hamas to a narrow area at the center while the population will be mainly in controlled zones at the South.  
There is also a concept of denying Hamas the ability to control the population and make it useless for them.  

-IDF’s Chief of Staff in a tour to meet the High Command and soldiers in Gaza, this was at Kahan Yunis:
“We are attacking with power to defend ourselves.  From the nearby Hirbat Achzaha they raided the Kibutz Nahal Oz and murdered and kidnapped babies, children, women and the elderly. We shouldn’t forget for a moment what happened here. We will do everything to bring our hostages back and we will defeat the Khan Yunis Brigade like we did to the Rafah Brigade.  

The Chief of Staff in Khan Yunis talked with the warriors and Commanders, commanded them and approved operational plans.  
We are defending ourselves by attacking. It’s a central lesson from 10/7.  

We’re intensifying the attacks according to a structured plan.  
Hamas is under a strong pressure, it lost most of its assets and its command and control.  We will operate all our tools in order to return the hostages home and defeat Hamas and dismantle its rule.  

It’s not an endless war.  We will act to shorten it in accordance to obtaining its aims. We want to defeat and we will do it with determination and thoroughness while maintaining the safety of our forces.  You’re doing here an exceptional job and supper important, you have my full support! 

-Targeted assassination in Gaza.   Another participant of 10/7.  

-There is now an official government approval for the full Operation. Five full Divisions are going into action.  Focus on Khan Yunis and the North.  I said yesterday that one of my sources said to “remember the 25th of June”.  I guess this is the approval date to officially operate all the force of the maneuver.  

-NYT : “The IDF employed 700 air attacks in Syria since the fall of Assad.”  
Note: We knew that the Jihadists are taking over so we decimated most of the Syrian Military’s assets.  

-The IDF is investigating the media reports of the woman who lost 9 children.  A Colonel was assigned to look into it.  The IDF so far is saying that there is no indication that this event happened and some of the images that were promoted were AI generated.  There were targeting of a  four terrorists unit in a structure around but the hit was precise and no bodies of children were observed to be taken out of there.  

-Kristi Noem the Director of Homeland Security is in Israel. Trump sent her after the terror attack in DC.  She was at the Western Wall and prayed and wrote on a note at the wall,  “Israel is God’s chosen and we stand with you”.  She is a true friend.  

-The Spanish Foreign Minister is saying that they want to promote a European sanctions on Israel in order to make it stop the war in Gaza.  Spain has been a real enemy with its Progressive leadership.  They also want to recognize a Palestinian State along with France.  

-The Leader of Hezbollah said that they will not restrain themselves against Israeli aggression and the war is not over.  Note that Israel opposes Hezbollah presence in South Lebanon on its border.  Therefore you see attacks.  

-Iran’s media is freaking out about an upcoming Israeli attack.  Note: I think it’s fake.  
Israel is now focused on Gaza.  It has time to let the US finish the negotiations for the next month or two. There is no new meeting between Iran and the US scheduled yet.  But there will be I suppose.  

-The Syrians are upset. The US said that it is only removing a part of the sanctions for now.  This prevents investors from coming to Syria.  

-Witkoff is now asking to halt the conquest of Gaza for some days to enable negotiations for a deal.  This is very bad if complied with. Our soldiers are not Yo-Yo.  You can’t mess with their heads and let Hamas put more traps. Hamas with Qatar are using Witkoff to mess with Israel.   Hamas should be squeezed all the way and forced to give all the hostages.  Not just a few for more time.  I don’t know how Israel will respond to it.  It may be too late.  I will let you know.  

-The CEO of the new distribution centers of aid resigned.  He says that he can’t apply the plan in a humanitarian way and independently.

I’ve seen a few claims making the rounds on the Big Beautiful Bill that require correction. 

The first is that it doesn’t “codify the DOGE cuts.” A reconciliation bill, which is a budget bill that passes with 50 votes, is limited by senate rules to “mandatory” spending only — eg Medicaid and Food Stamps. The senate rules prevent it from cutting “discretionary” spending — eg the Department of Education or federal grants. The DOGE cuts are overwhelmingly discretionary, not mandatory. The bill saves more than 1.6 TRILLION in mandatory spending, including the largest-ever welfare reform. A remarkable achievement. 

I’ve also seen claims the bill increases the deficit. This lie is based on a CBO accounting gimmick. Income tax rates from the 2017 tax cut are set to expire in September. They were always planned to be permanent. CBO says maintaining *current* rates adds to the deficit, but by definition leaving these income tax rates unchanged cannot add one penny to the deficit. The bill’s spending cuts REDUCE the deficit against the current law baseline, which is the only correct baseline to use.

 Another fantastically false claim is that the bill spends trillions of dollars. This is just completely invented out of whole cloth. This is not a ten year budget bill—it doesn’t “fund” almost any operations of government, which are funded in the annual budget bills (which this is not). In other words, if this bill passed, but the annual budget bill did not, there would be no government funding. Under the math that critics are using, if we passed a one paragraph reconciliation bill that cut simply 50 billion in food stamp spending, they would say the bill “added” trillions in spending and debt because they are counting ALL the projected federal spending that exists entirely outside the scope of this legislation, which is of course preposterous. The only funding in the bill is for the President’s border and defense priorities, while enacting a net spending cut of over 1.6 TRILLION dollars. 

The bill has two fiscal components: a massive tax cut and a massive spending cut.

In the brutal winter of 1777-78, George Washington’s army was holed up at Valley Forge, starving and freezing, with morale at rock bottom. Supplies were so scarce that soldiers boiled shoes for broth, and desertions were spiking. Amid this misery, Washington stumbled on an unlikely source of inspiration: a scrappy, one-eyed drummer boy named Jacky Custis (no relation to his wife’s family), barely 15, who’d lied about his age to enlist.

Jacky, a wiry kid from Virginia, had lost an eye to a childhood accident but made up for it with relentless spirit. He’d march through camp, banging out rhythms on his drum, singing bawdy tavern songs to lift the men’s spirits. One icy night, Washington, unable to sleep, wandered the camp and heard Jacky’s drum echoing through the snow. He found the boy perched on a crate, surrounded by a huddle of gaunt soldiers, teaching them a new beat he’d made up, calling it the “Liberty Thump.” The men were laughing, stomping their feet to stay warm, momentarily forgetting their hunger.

Washington, usually stoic, was moved. He approached Jacky the next day, expecting a nervous kid. Instead, Jacky cheekily asked, “General, want to learn the Thump?” Impressed by the boy’s defiance of despair, Washington made him an unofficial morale officer, tasking him with organizing music and drills to keep the men’s spirits up. Jacky’s drumming became a daily ritual, and desertions dropped slightly in the weeks that followed. (Whether this can be attributed to Jackie Custis is up to you.)

When spring came, Jacky fell ill with camp fever and died just as the army marched out. Washington, heartbroken, ensured his name was recorded among the honored dead. Years later, in a 1783 letter to a Virginia friend, Washington mentioned “a lad with one eye and a drum” who taught him that courage could come from the smallest souls. The “Liberty Thump” seems to have faded into obscurity passing to the next plain with young Jackie, I can’t find a rendition of it, but for one winter, it was the heartbeat of Valley Forge, a testament to General Washington’s knack for finding hope in the darkest moments.

Said I, never …

When I was 13 years old my dad bought 13 acres along the Tennessee River in Hardin County, TN and I went down for the summer to help my 74 year old Grandfather build a two bedroom slab house on the land. I would go down the next summer after that to help finish it up.

Grant’s steam boat would have passed by there as he rushed to towards the sound of the guns at Shiloh from his HQ at Cherry Mansion.

We lived in an old trailer while building the house. One day he took me to the Shiloh battlefield park as a break from our working from dawn to dusk routine.

That was my first visit to any Civil War battlefield and it was the beginning of my own life long journey of visiting battlefields and other notable places that still exist from the time of our Civil War.

I also learned somethings about my southern countrymen. Savannah was the nearest town of any size and it was 13 miles by road, most of it gravel road. IOW we were in the sticks. Next county over from where Bufford Pusser had been the Sheriff.

Back then Savannah was a sleepy southern town and everyone was laid back. Cherry Mansion was owned by a guy that grew worms and sold bait and tackle.

About every evening I could go down to the river bank and watch good ole boys running their trout lines. Some of the big blue Catfish they caught took two men to get into their John boat.

One guy that lived about 1/2 mile away was named Jefferson Davis. Then there was farmer Hanna that I helped feed his hogs. More than once both of us were run up a tree or up on top of his pickup when we surprised a sow and her litter. He drove a 1937 Chevy pickup and claimed he had never been out of the county. I learned a lot about a lot of things those two summers. Though grandpa and I were both hunters we never hunted that land but instead fed the squirrels, quail, and rabbits.

I swam back and forth across that river several times those two summers. One had to be sure there wasn’t a tug with barges coming down river before setting out. I did some fishing and investigated the fossils one can find in the rock along the river.

I was large and strong for my age and going through puberty. When I came home from my trip Mom was shocked by how deep my voice was compared to when I had left a couple months before.

I felt no fear. But I knew that I had to be careful because a stranger could get shot wondering on other peoples land.

You can never go back.

After Grandpa died Dad sold the land back to Old Man Blankenship that he had bought if from. When Mr. Blankenship died his family turned that wooded land into a damned trailer park for weekend vacationers. The house still stands as the HQ for that park last I heard.

I’ve never returned. My younger brother went there and saw it and told me about it and though I have been in the area several times, I had no desire to ruin those precious memories.

Savannah is nothing like it was back then either. When I was there with Grandpa there wasn’t a fast food place in town. It was quiet and peaceful. Now it’s a bustling river town that has lost all of it’s southern charm.

COMMENTARY FOR COLOSSIANS 1 

“This epistle was sent because of some difficulties which arose among the Colossians, probably from false teachers, in consequence of which they sent to the apostle. The scope of the epistle is to show, that all hope of man’s redemption is founded on Christ, in whom alone are all complete fulness, perfections, and sufficiency. The Colossians are cautioned against the devices of judaizing teachers, and also against the notions of carnal wisdom, and human inventions and traditions, as not consistent with full reliance on Christ. In the first two chapters the apostle tells them what they must believe, and in the two last what they must do; the doctrine of faith, and the precepts of life for salvation.The apostle Paul salutes the Colossians, and blesses God for their faith, love, and hope. (1-8) Prays for their fruitfulness in spiritual knowledge. (9-14) Gives a glorious view of Christ. (15-23) And sets out his own character, as the apostle of the Gentiles.” (24-29)

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me. 

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

I get an e-mail this morning….

Dear Creekside Patriot,

Memorial Day isn’t just a mark on the calendar. It’s a name. A face. A story.

For us, it’s Staff Sergeant Travis Atkins of the 10th Mountain Division who made the ultimate sacrifice for his squad. 
 
While conducting route security, Atkins and his squad encountered two suspicious individuals. 
 
As he attempted to search one of them, the man resisted, leading to a physical struggle. 
 
During the altercation, Atkins discovered the insurgent was wearing a suicide vest. 
 
Without hesitation, he wrapped his arms around the insurgent, throwing him to the ground and shielding his fellow soldiers from the imminent explosion. 
 
The bomb detonated, killing Atkins but saving the lives of three of his comrades.

There’s more, and some pictures, but I truncated it for brevity. Staff Sergeant Atkins was honored by PDJT at a WH ceremony on March 27, 2019.

Who did I get is from? The American company which made and sold me the ballistic helmet I use. I pray God judges me as living a life worthy of the sacrifices Staff Sergeant Atkins, and many others, made. God bless.

Adopting Graves Margraten

“At the cemetery in Margraten many of the graves have flowers, placed by people who have adopted one or more graves and thus want to show their gratitude to the fallen liberators and their next of kin. The original idea to adopt graves of the American liberators came about in February of
1945. To this effect the “Burger Comité Margraten” (Citizens Committee Margraten) was formed. The committee’s goal was to support the set-up of the American Cemetery with an extensive adoption campaign.
The adopters were supposed to regularly visit the adopted grave and, in case this was appreciated, keep in touch with the next of kin in the U.S. The campaign gained massive support. At the first Memorial Day in 1945 every grave was decorated with flowers. At the second Memorial Day one year later all graves (at the time an incredible amount of 18,764) had been adopted. Captain Shomon, the founder of the American Cemetery, praised the members of the committee for all the work they had done. Since 2015 all graves as well as all of the names in the Walls of the Missing are adopted and there even is a waiting list.”
