Yep. There were arson attacks on cathedrals all over France at the time. But Notre Dame was an “accident.”

Actually, it might well have been. Many cathedrals have been made to realize that the roof areas of their magnificent structures are tinder boxes. Some are now in the process of installing unobtrusive fire-suppression systems. (The new ND does have one. Very sophisticated.)

What are Johnson and Thune doing or better yet what are they good for? President Trump just returned from a very successful ME trip, talked yesterday to Z man and Putin but has to rally support for his bill. Does anyone think Biden wouldn’t easily get Dem votes for whatever rotten agenda bill he wanted? As I recall the days Congress worked recently seem less than they took off. We didn’t elect them for reasons of concern about Trumps bills, we only elected them to pass bills to support President Trump and his MAGA agenda. I saw the picture of Kash Patel and Dan Bongino avowing that Jeffrey Epstein did indeed commit suicide. It was a picture of two men staring into the Abyss, petrified. Nietzsche said, “If you stare into the Abyss long enough, the Abyss stares back at you.”
To be a good actor and liar requires believability, a missing element from this presentation. It’s not a reflection on “who they are,” IMO, but about, maybe, “foreign relations'” threats and balances, like Israel IC/Mossad… Bongino and Patel depend on their reputations for truth telling to neutralize their transparent about-face unbelievability in situations their new roles call for, to those familiar with their work up to now.

They’ve they’ve denied that, but it was on his business card that he handed to Customs and Border Patrol. Customs and Border Patrol then referred an investigation on Ryan Ralph in 2023 to DHS HSI. And according to Customs and Border Patrol, DHS HSI quote refused to investigate, not declined, refused to investigate Ryan Ralph. Now Ryan Ralph at the time was recruiting thousands thousand at least 5,000 by his own numbers of terrorist and extremist militia fighters from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Syria and Iran. My “theory” of the case is that Joe had probably been diagnosed with a slow growing form of prostate cancer sometime after he and Bambi left office but, due to his age, it was just being “watched” and not treated. When Bernie Sanders was surging in the polls again in 2019/2020, the DNC got nervous and the more “electable” (and manageable) Good Ol’ Joe was brought in to head up the ticket, even though he was already showing “Mild Cognitive Impairment”, because they assumed that they could keep that under wraps for a couple of years until he “stepped aside” to usher in the first female POTUS…
However, the plan fell off the tracks for several reasons. Kamala Harris was an unmitigated disaster and everyone realized it, making it much more complicated to promote her to the “top spot”. In addition, “Dr. Jill” was absolutely reveling in the role of FLOTUS and probably refused to even consider giving up the best gig she had ever had! On top of that, Hunter and Ashley were both facing legal problems and they wanted “dear old Dad” to stay in office so they could get cash to deal with their issues (and I suspect that brother Jim didn’t want the gravy train to stop either).
But then, just like cartoonist Scott Adams, Biden’s “slow growing” cancer exploded in 2022 after he received his 3rd or 4th jab (hence the “I have cancer” video from 2022) and it became a race against time to try to treat him in secret, while at the same time managing the clearly worsening memory issues. All of this was playing out against the backdrop of a pending re-election campaign, which was never part of the original agreement, but his family, led by Lady Macbeth, simply refused to give up the power, perks, and prestige of the Presidency.
The early debate on CNN was a forcing feature, IMHO, in order to get Joe to withdraw from the race, but no one expected the “family” to send out the second Tweet, fully endorsing Kamala, as their final act of revenge! And the rest, as they say, is history…

There really is a simple solution – no jobs involved with government (including contracts and subcontracts) or involving any industry deemed as national security related may employee any non-US citizens.
Now apply that thought to the things that PDJT has deemed as critical to national security…(the tech bros would hate him, cutting off their slave labor like that. Hell, they might have to hire Americans…gasp!!)
This is exactly what I think about the Ilhan Omars in Congress – that should never happen. Time to codify such a proscription.
