The question comes up, after reading the post about Thune blocking judges – could it be that President Trump hasn’t personally vetted the current nominees to ensure they aren’t activists so Sen. Thune has ‘blocked’ hearings until he gets the go-ahead nod from President Trump?
I think our impatience with things may get in the way of allowing President Trump the time to get things right this time around when it comes to judgeships and in seeing how the Trump-appointed supreme court judges have turned out to be disasters, not rapidly approving those on the docket for court benches may be exactly the perfect thing to do.

No, Thune and basically all party leadership in both houses are compromised and will do nothing against establishment swamp interests until they know unequivocally that they’ll be voted out and/or prosecuted, if they don’t do the will of the people promptly. Thune has not been blocking judges as he does not have any judge nominees on his desk yet. PT just made his first judicial nominees last Monday(5/12) and there hasn’t even been a Judiciary Committee hearing yet.

Yes there are currently 46 federal judge positions open, but Thune is not holding any of them up because there are no judge nominees on his desk yet.
President Trump has only just this past week named his first 4 judicial nominees and he presented Congress with all four of those on 5/12, 6 days after Publius’ X post. All four are for the 8th district court in MO-East.
So in this particular case, Thune is not “letting the clock run” because the Senate Judiciary Committee just got the nominations last Monday and has not even held a hearing on any of them yet.
Course, we may want to watch how long it takes Sen. Grassley to schedule the hearings as he has been more than a wee bit slow on all PT’s nominees that have to go through the Senate Judiciary Committee.
I’d start with the poisonous university faculties and staff of the world. They massively sway policy and and little more than communist think tanks.

Clean house in those two areas and place some real patriots in positions with both and maybe we have some better outcomes when needed. Saving our young minds by revamping our education systems at all levels is essential and every parent and grandparent should be fighting for that.

I propose that stealing 21 trillion+ taxpayer dollars (and Social Security funds) MAY have had an impact on inflation. Yes, we see that the Federal Reserve is neither Federal nor a Reserve. It is made up of several private banks working in collaboration with (at least in theory) with the US Govt.
I agreed with and mostly understood the first part of that movie, but in the second half it seemed to steer off into an advertisement for XRP, Ripple, Crypto, etc. Don’t know if I fully agree with their assessment/forecasting there on how everything will play out. They make a point to state it’s simply their speculation of what’s in store.
I enjoyed the part where President Trump stated, we will never allow a Central Bank Digital Currency, CBDC. I was at the Rally in New Hampshire where he said that. I was one of the people in the audience cheering. I was not the first to cheer though. Others beat me to it. They were dialed in.
You could see the look on President Trump’s face that he was surprised the audience were so dialed in on the issue. He raised his eyebrows and said, “Wow”. He then said, “Why am I surprised? This is New Hampshire. You guys know.” Or something to that effect.
Big picture, I think there will be or already are major changes in “money” and how money is handled. It may not be so much of a problem with “money” as it is a problem with the “money changers” who have controlled and manipulated. A problem since Jesus walked the Earth.

Back in 1980, which is the time I later pinpointed as the beginning of a lot of the disconcerting problems I was seeing in my country, I remember talking with a number of people about ethnicity, because there were questions about ‘what you were’ on the 1980 census.
People who I would have thought would call themselves Russian would be very specific about what they considered themselves to be- UKRAINIAN.
Throughout the 80s, I would meet people who would bristle at the idea you might think that they were Russian. They were of UKRAINIAN heritage, and they let you know it.
It seems that Ukraine was a more or less specific place, and a specific identity, well before 1954, or 1991, or whenever some Western person wants to say it came into being (illegitimately, some are saying).
As far as Ukrainians today wanting to return to Mother Russia, yes of course when boundaries change there are some left in a new place they never wanted to be part of, that’s nothing unique.
I would just like to point out that if anyone was yearning for Mother Russia so bad, well some of them could have walked back to Russia if they really wanted to be there.

I was the one who pointed that out originally. He raised his right hand and swore he had never met Robert Mueller. Comey and I were at the University of Chicago at the same time, and I remember the Chicago Maroon magazine had written a story of how he had served as a summer intern with Robert Mueller, at the U.S. Attorney office in San Fransisco at the time, circa 1982. So he lied to Congress, but Congress was unmoved.

It’s pretty obvious that Team Trump’s strategy is to flip the script on the DS by creating, in essence, an organisation with a similar structure and SOP but a different purpose and motivation. Attack vectors, targeted against their opponents are not pursed through the normal channels, given the corruption of the mechanisms needed to operate them, but through second and third parties who are being fed information by those channels so they can identify and map the extent of the DS’s reach. As these operations bear fruit, affiliated groups then disseminate that information, often using SM as a way of bypassing the corrupted MSM.
My guess is that this will all culminate in 2026, before the Midterms where the public will be increasingly revolted by the DS’s exposed operations, that directly targeted citizens, weakened the nation, whilst personally enriching the perpetrators. The DOGE attacks headline purpose to reduced waste also concealed, I believe, its primary purpose, identifying and following the covert couriers and their money streams that financed the entire operation, whilst developing measures to track if anyone tried a workaround. This layer of intelligence allowed a better understanding of the nature and extent of the structure and informed when and where the next operations should be targeted, similar to the way terrorist networks are mapped, before being taken down.
The traditional Democrat opponent’s have been largely ignored or left on the back foot at the speed and precision of the first ‘strikes’ and in their increasingly extreme responses reveal their true nature, as another DS deception operation. The Republicans fare little better, as Team Trump have obviously factored in the RINO resistors and their deliberate delaying tactics. TT realised that any effective implementation of their initial programme largely relied on an understanding that little would be achieved using the traditional mechanisms, the expectation shaping policy formulation, being institutional delay or failure, not rapid success, and to plan for that outcome
The next 100 days, I predict, will see a concerted attempt by TT to start to leverage their knowledge they’ve gained in the first 100, by gradually exposing the largely ignorant public as to the reality of the decades long DS deception operation against them. The method of delivery, giving people the permission to ask the questions they’ve been told cannot be asked. Tapper’s attempt to obfuscate the, ‘who knew what and when’ question about Biden is a recognition that the DS is aware of its vulnerability, but no sooner have they initiated that operation along comes Trump to remind people of Hilary’s past and ask the auto-pen question, cleverly linking the two together in people’s minds and raising the obvious question, how far back and how deep does this deception op run?
I’ll predict more revelations will be forthcoming, with perhaps conservative Democrats joining in to disingenuously beat their opponent’s with, in their gathering and growing civil war. If the start point is, how long did people know about Biden’s failing mental acuity, and who ran the country, then I think a two pronged attack, both forward and back from then could be about to be initiated; forward, the Jan 6th DS plot, back the COVID scamdemic and its electoral enablement. Given the line of questioning by the Justices and their political inclination and view of the sanctity of the lower to upper court process, it appears the Administration has a weak hand. The arguments for constraining the immense rise of judicial cases uniquely against the Trump Administration (233 cases, 40 nationwide injunctions) and the far too obvious judge shopping mocks the legitimacy of the legal system.
If the Administration can’t make a strong case the nationwide run on anti-Trump cases on merit and hasn’t thought out well the process issues can they be expecting a favorable ruling?
If not a legal win in either birthright citizenship or excessive use of judge shopping, what is their next step? Is it simply to deny and defy Court rulings? If so, what’s the rational for this weeks Supreme Court appearance? What concerns me is that with these SCOTUS roadblocks of the Trump administration, it’s going to embolden one of the liberal judges to remain instead of retiring within the next couple of years.

Abstract
The smartphone has become an indispensable part of everyday life. It enables endless possibilities and offers persistent access to a multiplicity of entertainment, information, and social contacts. The development towards a greater use and a persistent presence of the smartphone does not only lead to advantages, but also raises potential for negative consequences and a negative influence on attention. In this research, the hypothesis of the mere smartphone presence leading to cognitive costs and a lower attention is being tested. The smartphone may use limited cognitive resources and consequently lead to a lower cognitive performance. To investigate this hypothesis, participants aged 20–34 perform a concentration and attention test in the presence and absence of a smartphone. The results of the conducted experiment imply that the mere presence of a smartphone results in lower cognitive performance, which supports the hypothesis of the smartphone presence using limited cognitive resources. The study as well as the subsequent results and the resulting practical implications are presented and discussed in this paper.

Each hour of social media was linked with a 62% higher prevalence of conduct disorder, while television, video games, video chat, and texting were linked with a 14% to 21% higher prevalence of ODD.
“Social media platforms can encourage bullying and aggression, which may contribute to the development of conduct disorder in children,” said Jason Nagata, MD, lead study author and assistant professor of pediatrics at UCSF.
“Children can be exposed to violent content on social media through ads even if they are not searching for it,” said Nagata. “If kids do search for violence, algorithms will feed back even more disturbing content and children can get stuck in cycles of toxicity.”
