I grew up on a ranch in Texas… The ranchers loved the burros, most ranchers ran a few burros with their cattle herds, ’cause burros kill coyotes…
Good afternoon jjoy. When I had cattle, I had a few burros but I also had a Llama with cattle and he also would kill coyotes.
During calving season, I would just look for the llama to find a new calf to tag and band if it were a bull calf The llama would be so close to the newborn calf it would worry the momma cow so much, I could get in there and tag them and band them without worrying about the momma going after me.
That llama was named Bingo, because I bought him with bingo money I had won!

We had a pair of brother barn cats. One died at age three. A *year* later I said his name and the surviving brother looked around for him.
People need closure, so I assume my pets do too. When I have to bring home a cat that has been put down at the vet’s, I let the other cats see/smell. They don’t seem too distressed after that, like, It’s okay, I know what happened now.
😢 So true, Bets. The vets who have come to our house to help our fur kids go to heaven, always say it’s best to let the others stay if they wish.
Years ago, when our sweet Annabelle died, her brother Lordy stood by her with tears streaming down his face. No matter people don’t believe – I was there.

It is true soaz. I had an old mare, Tanq, (short for Tanqueray Gin) that had to be euthanized and I kept her daughter named Half Pint of Gin, as I loved this old mare so much, I had to keep her daughter (first foal born on my ranch).
She knew and she had tears. My ranch hand said to me, Half Pint knows, look she’s crying.
I buried her on the ranch and bless him, my hand planted rose bushes over her grave in the shape of a cross so I knew exactly where she was.
I’m convinced I shall see every one of my dear animals when I get to Heaven.

Betsy, this is so true. I had a pair of ShihTzus and the male acted like a “little Emperor” and the female was a not a bit feminine! As soon as I got her cleaned and trimmed up she would go out and find the freshest cow or horse manure (she would find or make a hole in the fence) to get at the manure and roll in it!
Quick story, I had company and she walked into the living room, sat right down in the middle of the room, turned and looked at all of us and promptly belched the loudest she could possibly make and turned and prissily walked away, quite proud of herself! I turned and said to my company, isn’t she just so “feminine”! We had a really good laugh.

Love this image, dear Bet. For most of my life, I had a dog. But after Sweetie, it’s just been me and Little ‘Tink for the most part. My friends are all urging me to get a dog. Not quite ready, yet, but my neighborhood has lots and lots of dog walkers. Not being able to work well is an impediment, however. You cursday photos are so encouraging, however . . . 🙂
When CURSDAYS arrive, my friend, I always think of Sweetie…always. An impossible act to follow. I completely understand the longing; but as you say, you and your precious, loving Tink are comfortable and content with one another. How would she react? I’m sure that consideration has crossed youre mind. One day perhaps…you will instinctively know if it comes.
When I described today’s cache I didn’t realize how many photos I had until I’d posted. So not “thin” after all 😊 As I begin again , I find I am as usual worried the next week’s will be a dead loss. But somehow my library always increases as the days advanced. Here’s hoping! Onward!! 💕

Israel Update:
-Sorry but I can’t not report this even if it will not be liked. Bear with me.
See the images above. On the left is the leader of syria. On the right the Deputy Prime Minster of Qatar. It reads: “We are all Hamas”.
The one on the left is the Syrian President who was waned for terrorism as a leader of Al-Nusra (The Syrian branch of Al Qaeda). I don’t know how many he killed and how many Americans and how many he beheaded if any, but he was active in Iraq, he was personal friend and partner with Al Baghdadi the leader of ISIS.
The second image above is a post of the Deputy Prime Minister of Qatar. Qatar a main sponsor and host of Hamas and other jihadi organizations.
And not in the image is Erdogan from Turkey who is also hosting Hamas and is one of the most intense haters of Israel who supports Hamas completely and hosts them too.
So I am reporting that we in Israel are in deep worry and anxiety about Trump’s words and meetings recently. Imagine Bibi meeting sponsors and supporters of Bin Laden and complimenting them a year and a half after 9/11. You would probably be disappointed.
Lifting the sanctions on Syria and giving this terrorist compliments like “a strong handsome man and a fighter” was hard to digest. Then the Syrian said something about “willing to join the Abraham Accord once Syria stabilizes”. Then he goes home and not a single word about Israel, looks like fake promise. Then Trump in statements to the Qatari Leader of how they are “long term friends” and making it look like Qatar are “peace makers”. Then words about how he “loves Erdogan”.
Yes, yes, yes, I know you will say that “it’s Trump’s style of raising affinity in negotiations” and “it’s business”. I am just saying that we are “biting our teeth” if that is the correct expression to say. Listen, the Qataris are real double faces devils who are the finance wing of The Muslim Brotherhood.
So the above was the emotion and now as to the facts.
The Turkish, Qataris and Syrians are Muslim Brotherhood. Their ultimate goal is an Islamic worlds. The Saudis are also Sunnis but less inclined to war (aside for Saudi links to supporting participants of 9/11 which I heard about but don’t know much about).
The Islam gives money and gains influence. This is what they do. How much influence? With such amounts of money it could be a lot. But we shall see. They are very good at flattery and hospitality. It doesn’t mean a thing. We in the Middle East know that hospitality is their religious duty but once you’re out of their tent they can kill you.
What does it mean to Israel?
Trump is now pressuring Israel not to expand the military campaign to crush Hamas and is trying to expand the Abraham Accord in exchange for an end of war.
This pushes Israel to the corner. If you remember I predicted it. Erdogan and Qatar are trying to save their Hamas brothers. They use flattery on Trump calling him “a man off peace” and they use a lot of money. It was all coordinated and they position it to Trump as “peace”.
I said that the only way the Saudis can join the Accord is if they show the Muslim world that they “defeated the IDF” and “saved Gaza”. Israel can’t not defeat Hamas. In the Middle East you show weakness and the smell blood. It is existential that we show that we won the war. That others will never dream about another 10/7. At the moment they do dream about it and saying it.
We are now about to witness tension between Bibi and Trump probably. very bad for Israel.
-The Iranians say that they are willing to let go of enriched uranium and reduce enrichment to low %. And have supervision. God help us if Trump takes it. This is Obama deal 2. I said that their goal is either to push through to nukes or delay and wait for Trump to end his term and then continue. This requires a prayer that God helps us resolve the Iranian threat for real.
-One of my sources posted an imager of the airplane that Qatar is waning to give Trump. It had the initials of a Qatari Oligarch. I didn’t fully verify it but it’s a good source. I am posting what he said below:

The evil one IS able to lie to us, but the extent of the positive prophecy that is only multiplying – in the midst of this ongoing evil and demonic forces in the world now – is not a likely tactic to be employed by that same evil one.
Many choose to believe Prophecy and Prophets from God, are not for today…that is NOT what God’s Word tells us…
No matter anyone’s opinion regarding the prophetic words being spoken – God is over Israel and America – our One Nation Under God!
America may have lost its way, as many of her people – AND the Church – moved away from God and got complacent and accepting of evil, but God never deserts nor forsakes us. That’s a Promise – and He will not break any of His Promises!

I am a bit embarrassed that I am not informed on BRICS. I will learn.

The fact that there is no announcement of a Saudi Nuclear plant was a great relief. And no Defense Treaty either.
So basically nothing new. We knew about the billions of dollars deals.
If he give up about the Iranian subject and cuts a bad deal then I will be somewhat disappointed. But still it will stop the program and give us more time to develop capabilities to attack it alone. Or maybe attack it from the ground sooner but in a surprising timing.

The problem is that we are dealing with people who have been brainwashed to hate us and direct all their efforts to kill us. I know that you have a hard time to belive it in the west. That is why Israel experienced 10/7.
All the Intel and policy was based on the idea that “if we help their economy they will not attack”.
This is a Western values of “peace and prosperity” that they lack. In 2005 we withdrew from Gaza.
We thought that if we leave them alone it will be better. With all the billions of dollars from Qatar and Iran and others they could have been a Singapore. Hundreds of thousands of tunnels in many billions of dollars value and nothing for education and development. Our defense establishment insisted to let many of them come to work in Israel. Some of those provided intel for Hamas for 10/7.
Gaza needs de-radicalization before anything can succeed. Like Nazi Germany after WW2 and Japan.
First they need to be defeated and then it will take a very long time to change their minds if at all.
Trump’s idea of relocation is smart. Because many will be able to return after some deradicalizatio if it is workable.
Trump’s image is very important to him, a significant part of his self-conception, a vanity even. Often, that works to our favor due to the monstrous miscalculation of the Establishment in its attempts frame and destroy him. Trump takes such things very personally and in their limited intelligence the fellow travelers of the Establishment created and empowered a formidable adversary.
But sometimes it works otherwise. There is no good that will come of sidling up to the Muslim Brotherhood, whether in Qatar, Turkey or Syria. I know what a coup it would be to Trump to bring more Arab states into the Abraham Accords, but true peace in the middle east will not come from any efforts made by Donald Trump, unfortunately. If he abandons ‘Realpolitik’ now to chase the chimera of peace bringer to the Middle East, it will only end in grief.
Israel has to look after its own interests. Trump’s legacy is not Israel’s problem. Each nation has to look after its own people first or it’s no good to any ally. And it is just for that reason that the President disengaged from the Houthi campaign, after bombing them into an agreement to sidestep targeting American ships. It would have been to Israel’s advantage to have the U.S. continue to pour money and munitions into the Houthi campaign, but not to that of the U.S. In the same way, it’s not to Israel’s advantage to treat the leaders of Syria and Qatar as other than they are – Muslim Brotherhood, sponsors and supporters of terrorists whose object of hatred is the Jewish state. And God forbid any deal that allows Iran to continue enriching plutonium, even for the canard of a domestic energy program. Stanford doctor says probiotics are very bad for us.
I do not trust this man.
Which probiotic products is he talking about?
Just like any products sold, there are some good & bad probiotics sold in the United States.
It’s dishonest to lump all of the probiotics sold and use it test to see how all probiotics work.
There are great probiotics sold that do help. You don’t need millions of taxpayer dollars to fund research on probiotics, so some company can patent it to make millions.
The study should have further separated out probiotic products used by each patient into product groups. Then check how each product helped the patients.
There’s another problem that bothers me. He talks about judicious use of antibiotics. Why only antibiotics? Antibiotics only kill bacteria. If you only take antibiotics(mycotoxins), there will be a fungal/yeast overgrowth. Why don’t they take antifungals with the antibiotics to prevent the overgrowth?
He talks about leaky gut. Some yeast can change their morphology and grow hyphae which can poke holes in the gut.
I am not buying what he is selling.
