‘Draw Muhammad and Die’: 10 Years Since Islamic Jihad Hit Garland, Texas — And the West Still Hasn’t Learned

Ten years ago, in a suburb of Dallas, Texas, Islamic terrorists opened fire on a free speech event because Americans dared to draw Muhammad. That moment — May 3, 2015 — should have been a turning point in the West’s battle against Islamic supremacy. Instead, it was quickly buried by media silence, political cowardice, and a deepening national amnesia of Islamic terror in America.

Just four months earlier, in January 2015, the staff of Charlie Hebdo in Paris were massacred by Islamic terrorists for publishing cartoons of Muhammad. Incredibly, within weeks of that slaughter, an Islamic group held a “Stand with the Prophet” event at the very same venue in Garland, Texas, calling for restrictions on free speech critical of Islam. In response, the American Freedom Defense Initiative (AFDI), Pamela Geller, and Robert Spencer resolved to host a counter-event in the exact location — one that celebrated, rather than surrendered, the First Amendment. That moment — May 3, 2015 — should have been a turning point in the West’s battle against Islamic supremacy. Instead, it was quickly buried by media silence, political cowardice, and a deepening national amnesia.

While the bullets in Garland failed to kill the First Amendment, the real threat never left. Today, that threat has evolved. It no longer arrives with assault rifles, but with land purchases, real estate development, city charters, and Sharia-based political influence. What jihad failed to accomplish with blood is now being pursued through bureaucracy. And Texas is ground zero.

They failed. Garland police officer Greg Stevens, who had never fired his weapon in the line of duty, took down both terrorists within seconds, despite their body armor and assault rifles. His actions saved hundreds of lives and ended what became the first ISIS attack on American soil. But the real story was not the failed assault; it was what followed: media silence, FBI cover-up, and the West’s refusal to take the Islamic threat seriously.

Israel Update:
This report is a bit long because I didn’t report for a while and a lot is happening.  But it’s a good one, I put some work into it, so bear with me please.  Don’t miss the part about Syria. It’s the hottest news.

Gaza: Still some 20-60 killed in Gaza per day.  IDF is getting Intel of who and what to attack, terrorists get missiles into their homes or tents and their families get killed too along with them.  

Reports that they (Hamas) have scarcity of money to pay salaries to their people which can deteriorate morale. Reports that in three weeks food in Gaza will be out.  Report that Israel is getting some agreement with the US as to distributing humanitarian aide at safe zones, distributed by an American company and secured by the IDF as to prevent Hamas from getting it. The IDF didn’t want to be the distributor of the food by themselves.  We can’t starve the population we just need to prevent the aide from being hijacked by Hamas.  

Gaza is filming fake “starvation images” while I have footage of markets with produce and food.  But it’s true that food may be running out in some three weeks and it starts to be more tense.  Hamas committed some multi robberies of food storages a few days ago.  They want to secure themselves while the population suffers.  This represents their strategy all along.  

Hamas rejects all deal offers that exclude an end of the war. They blame Israel for rejecting their deals.  

A significant expansion of the war is scheduled to be approved this Sunday.  This will include 
calling in tens of thousands of reservists and I hear that they are going to adopt the Rafah model.  In Rafah the IDF is flattening it all and making it into a buffer zone.  This way there is minimal casualties to the IDF.  Realize that Hamas boobytrapped thousands of buildings and roads, etc… So the idea is to shrink Gaza by expanding buffer zones around it and pushing the population to limited safe zones in which the IDF will secure.  I see more Intel happening so I assume that there is some more control as to the identities of the population.   

This is not yet the “Hell” that was threatened with.  The goal is still a hostage deal.  
If Israel will conclude that they really oppose a reasonable deal then the “Hell” that we threatened with will have more support in Israel. Remember that the IDF is the “military of the people”  it’s mostly reservists and all the spectrum of opinions is included.  
 
There is an Internal divide in Israel where the left who controls most of the media is calling to give them all in exchange for resolving the hostage crisis.  Bibi explained that the left is lying when they suggest that we can do a complete hostage deal and then go back to war.  
He explained that if we agree to their demands of International guaranties to maintain the ceasefire then Israel will not be able to break this deal later and return to war and finish the job in Gaza of defeating Hamas.  The US also won’t enter an agreement that they know is fake and Israel will break.  International guaranties are not a false promise.  

Bibi in a latest speech said that “Wining the war is the highest goal”.  He enraged the opposition who are saying that “returning the hostages is the highest goal”.  You have to understand that there are many soldiers who voted for the opposition too so this is not good for the military and maybe the delay is also in order to show that we did everything possible aside for surrender before we go all in.  The Military published an opposing view to Bibi, 
“that the prime goal is the hostages”.  The Chief of Staff of the IDF on the other hand sees both goals of hostages and crushing Hamas as inter-related. I have to assume that Bibi choose him after he knew that they think alike.  

Overall Bibi is too slow and recent pole shows that he is crushing if there would be elections.  It may be a false pole but it sure represents a bad trend and dissatisfaction from by sides of the political spectrum.   I said that we may be heading to a problem with Trump if Bibi won’t hurry up. 

Once Trump goes to Saudi Arabia and Qatar mid May he will be under Arab persuasion to stop the war in Gaza in exchange for deals.  Also starting the heavy military actions when he is there will be also counter productive for Trump unless he is using it to apply pressure on Arabs to make Hamas agree for a final deal which will include their leaders leaving Gaza and arrangements to replace Hamas.  But who will replace them is an open question with no answer.  There are no known moderates in Gaza at this time.  We don’t have a good experience with International Forces either, terrorists just use their areas to hide munitions and establish themselves.   It’s hard to know now but if we get to a massive invasion then we will know if this is going to end well for Israel.  The projections are 6 months to crush Hamas seriously.   If Israel will make a breakthrough and let Gazans who want yo leave go, then I think that most of them will leave.  Some surveys indicate so.  

–Iran: Today there was a leaked report to Associated Press that Trump is heading to a deal with the same frame as the Obama Deal where they will reduce production of uranium but keep the centrifuges.  In such a case they can in a few weeks produce weapon grade uranium if they decide.  This is a source of anxiety in Israel.  The existing enriched uranium that is highly enriched will be sold out or otherwise secured at another nation.  Many sanctions will be lifted.  Heavy supervision will be applied.  
This report is probably not far from the truth as Trump was optimistic a week ago.  Iran will not agree to dismantle their centrifuges so why was he optimistic? We shall see.  It’s premature to know.  Trump yesterday posted that “anyone who will buy Iranian oil will not be able to do business with the US”.  There are reports that the US sanctions were not effective because China is buying Iranian oil.  I believe that this announcement is directed at the Chinese.   There may be a conflict of intentions between Israel and the US on Iran.  

While many in MAGA oppose a US / Israel strike in Iran, for israel it’s an existential matter.  
US Intelligence agencies are problematic to say the least.  They are based on politics ahead of truth.  For example before Israel went into Gaza it was used to scare Bibi and they reported that we will have hundreds of soldiers fall daily.  In reality the IDF lost 410 soldiers in a year and a half.  

Before the US invasion to Iraq they provided false intel to lure the White House into war. 
Now Tulsi Gabbard presented reports of “massive war and damage if the US attacks the Iranian sites”.  This is also clearly false anyone who knows Iran knows that they are scared of the US and have no capability to pose a real threat.  

Anyways the removal of Mr. Waltz indicates a motion to the more anti strike in Iran group of advisors.  Again, this is all premature as at the final end Trump decides and he likes to hear all the sides before he makes final decisions.  As of now the projection is not the best for Israel.  An attack on the Iranian sites may have to be done without coordination with Trump at a latter date while hoping and trying to topple the Regime in Iran.  

If Trump let them keep the centrifuges it may signal the Saudis will also be permitted to build a nuclear program with US aide that is horrible for Israel.  They want to do it and US Secretary of Secretary of Energy suggested it.  Another regime who slice their internal  opponents to pieces and has a Sharia Law will have a nuke program.  I can only pray at this point for a good solution.  

Lebanon- Lebanon issued a threat to Hamas (Palestinians) in Lebanon to avoid attacking Israel from Lebanon and also a statement of intention to disarm them.  Yes there are Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. They are second class citizens in Lebanon.  Arabs like to keep Palestinians as refugees “to keep the knife on Israel’s throat”.  They are not a great threat to Israel as they are not powerful.  But this is a good motion for Israel.  

Syria – The Druze community in Syria came under attack by the Jihadi forces associated with the new government.  The new government is not their direct leader but is using them (the jihadis) to do the dirty work and they butchered  thousands of minorities recently who they considered “Infidels”.  They butchered thousands of Alawites (a branch of islam that is closer to Shia) and they butchered some Christians and they are now after the Druze who are a different religion.  There are Druze in South Syria and by Damascus.  

We saw some videos a couple of days ago of Druze by Damascus being tortured and humiliated and shot by Jihadists who look like ISIS and Al Qaeda with their white Toyota trucks.  We saw mobilization of Jihadis towards massacring the Druze.  

There may be some hundred or less killed and some taken.  Israel has a Druze community who have families in Syria.  The Druze in Israel are a very important part of the IDF and all security forces.  Their fluent Arabic makes them very valuable and they sacrificed many people in all of Israel’s wars.  We consider them brothers.  They fight alongside us.  We have battalion and brigade commanders who are Druze.  They are amazing brave and decent people.  

Anyways, Israel threatened the Syrian government that it will hit them seriously if they don’t protect the Druze.  The IDF did a few symbolic strikes in Syria including just a few hundred feet from the Presidential palace in Damascus. Then Bibi announced that we will not let the Druze in Syria to be massacred and they better be protected.  

Then the Speaker of the IDF announced that the iDF is taking positions in South Syria to protect the main concentration of Druze population.  Then we saw motion of excited armed Jihadis on the way to kill the Druze, calling them “Infidel pigs”, real ISIS type people who are under the umbrella of the new President of Syria who is a terrorist in a suit, grew up from Isis and defected to an Al Qaeda affiliated terror organization (by the way the West is buying into his fake moderation).  

A few hours ago the IDF went into a serious wave of attacks on Syrian bases at some four locations including Damascus.  They attacked missiles from the earlier regime and anti aircraft missiles and cannons and a list of targets some belong to the current regime.  
It seems like no one was killed but there are some wounded.  It gives me the idea that the intention was not to kill the people of the new Syrian regime but to make them pay and understand that we will not tolerate them massacring the Druze or permitting their jihadi 
ISIS/Al Qaeda friends do so.  They have to protect their Druze citizens.  

Twenty attacks.  This may have saved the Druze.  I now saw a video where the Druze fought Jihadists and gave them the same treatment as they did to them.  

Anyways this was taking a chance as we don’t want another front developing but we are either acting as a “regional power” or as a “regional rag”.  If we were to betray the Druze there would have been a massacre and Turkey with the Sunni Jihadists would have moved right near our border.  

Now there is a reports that Israel through the US told the Turks to keep their jets on the ground or else we will shoot them down.  The Israeli Druze already started to protest and it was going to create damage in the IDF.  Now they know that we protect their families who are in Syria.  Israel is also in good relations with the Kurds, the Kurds were instrumental in defeating ISIS in Syria along the US.  

Israel also took a number of Druze for medical treatments in the past few days. 

The Druze tend to be loyal to their host nations so in Syria it’s a bit of a new relationship with Israel.  They were with Assad before but we saw busses of their clergy and leadership visiting Israel in the past few weeks. We don’t have many friends in the Middle East.  This is potentially a new friend.  I just saw that we now sent a helicopter with some supplies and also military supplies.  

The father of the terrorist President of Syria has now called for a war with Israel.  His son is probably wiser.  They are far from a stable regime, they have a lot to lose if they engage.  
The moment Assad fell Israel wiped out almost all their military tanks, ships, missiles munitions, etc… in a massive unprecedented week of attacks.  Now it pays off.  The Jihadis are saying that they have no way to deal with Israel’s jets etc….  They are exposed and they know it.  We don’t want to fight them but they can’t kill the brothers of our brothers.  Period.  
Israeli is talking the language of the Middle East and this in the long run will only bring respect and/or fear which is fine.  

-Trump now is saying that the number of living hostages in Gaza is less than 24. Bibi’s wife said so too. Possibly someone got killed in a recent bombing?

–Houthis have been firing ballistic missiles at Israel, some 24 since the end of ceasefire.  
Most of them don’t make it.  Some get intercepted. Yesterday there was also a drone that we intercepted.  They are causing sirens in parts of Israel and very disturbing.  The US is pounding them quite badly daily yet they are hundreds of thousands and have a history of surviving prolong attacks from Saudi Arabia and they keep being a problem. But now they are dealing with Trump. I think they will break eventually, so I hope.  The greenest now is that we leave them for the US and we don’t send our pilots in that direction now.  It’s a 1000 miles away. Not easy to deal with them.  But the must be draining their stocks of missiles so I hope.  I see the hits and explosions.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me. 

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

I want to post a note of caution for everyone. My April bank statement had three fraudulent transaction charges on it from two different vendors, totalling almost $150. Keep an eye out. I asked my banker how this could happen and she just cackled at me.
