On 10/7 the terrorists kidnapped the father and later killed him, they also kidnapped the dog Billy. A Golani Infantry Brigade reservist soldier find the dog a year and a half later in Rafah Gaza and got him to Israel for treatment. Somehow this dog survived the war. Then it was discovered that he belongs to the Danzig family from Kibutz Nir Oz. The video below is the reunion. “Toda” means “Thank you”.

So very true, every doggie is a blessing…….and yet I read yesterday (and wish I hadn’t) that Pima County, AZ euthanized 328 dogs in the past 3 months. 😢 Such a totally human caused tragedy. Unconscionable. And unbearable to contemplate. I prayed they all went to heaven where my mom and dad are waiting to hug them. 🙏
I am usually against almost anything labeled “program” that is sponsored by government. But…..I think spay and neuter programs, perhaps even mobile units, would pay for themselves in not only a monetary sense, but in the cost to our collective humanity.
We pay for so many insane things (see USAID), why not something that actually is of benefit?

Not only a community leader, but most likely a valedictorian well on his way to discovering the cure for cancer.
What we see on the video is not just the violent raving of a crazed or drugged up individual. What the guy is doing is called “called cognitive dissonance”. It was intentional. Chanting the name of Our Savior while committing acts of physical violence on a police officer (or anyone for that matter) was intentional. Regardless of this guy’s state of mind (if he had one), he retained enough conscious thought to know that his chanting would probably confuse the officer enough to give him a physical advantage. Apparently the strategy worked well enough because we can actually see the well-armed officer hesitate in the midst of the physical attack on himself.
I don’t want to read any more into this, but the attacker was probably more experienced at pulling a stunts like this than we might think. He knew what he was doing.

Good morning Patty. Thank you for the videos of the foals. It brings back great memories of when I had foals in the Spring at the ranch. Those foals are just beautiful.
I never had the problem with the umbilical cord breaking too soon, but my mares usually foaled in the barn. They felt no danger in the stall, so took there time getting up. Normally when the mare gets up, it will break the cord at the proper time.
With those mares in the wild, they know the predators are out there so get their foals moving quickly. Also, I am, sure the stallions push the mares to get up to get the herd moving to another area.

Megyn Kelly claims To Be Suffering From an Autoimmune Condition After Taking the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine
American journalist Megyn Kelly has claimed that she developed an autoimmune disorder after taking two doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and a follow-up booster in 2021.
“I wish I hadn’t done it, but I did,” the 54-year-old podcaster said, adding the doctors have not been able to diagnose her condition.
Kelly’s comments come just days after a group of Yale researchers confirmed claims from those who say they have chronic symptoms months and years after getting their jabs. Read on to know all about post-vaccination syndrome.
Journalist and podcaster Megyn Kelly made a shocking claim that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination caused her an autoimmune disorder. In her podcast, The Megyn Kelly, the 54-year-old spoke with Dr. Aseem Malhotra and shared her COVID-19 vaccine experience. “I wish I hadn’t done it, but I did,” she said.
According to Kelly, doctors have not been able to determine exactly what she was suffering from, but she said that they told her it could well have been caused by the vaccine and the booster dose she took during the spread of the Omicron variant.
“I asked the rheumatologist if it could be linked to the Pfizer vaccine and booster, and she said, ‘Yes, and you’re not the only patient I have who’s had this sequence of events.”
Kelly’s comments came days after a group of Yale researchers approved long-held claims by people who believed they developed chronic illnesses months or years after receiving vaccinations. The study dubbed the condition post-vaccination syndrome and found that those who suffer from it have different levels of white blood cells and lower levels of naturally occurring antibodies that fight the virus.
However, scientists have said that their findings are still in very early stages and that such negative side effects were found only in a “very small percentage” of people who received the vaccine. The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention still strongly backs vaccines for COVID-19 and other viruses, insisting that the shots went through the most rigorous safety screenings in US history.
What is post-vaccination syndrome?
This little-understood yet persistent condition – referred to as post-vaccination syndrome or PVS—remains unrecognised by medical authorities, and little is known about its biological underpinnings.
According to experts, to find out about the condition, scientists examined blood samples from 42 participants who experienced symptoms of post-vaccination syndrome and 22 who did not. Those with PVS had lower levels of two types of white blood cells. Apart from that, those with PVS who had never contracted COVID-19 also had lower levels of antibodies against the virus.

I think they are wood ducks, because wood ducks will nest in old woodpecker holes or in nest boxes. The young only stay in the nest 24 hours after hatching, then jump up to 30 feet to the ground or water to follow their mother. They never return to the nest.
I have a pair that returns to my pond every Spring. I have never been able to find their nest though.

This is our sweet Otto, on the day he came to live with us – Easter Sunday, 2020.
He had been living under a fifth wheel off of a dirt road we passed each time we left our property. We got into the habit of giving him a treat each time as my heart ached for his situation. He spent 24/7 outdoors through, rain, sleet, wind, 115° and 20°. We asked to bring him to our house to shelter him – “no.”
When he tore his ACL, I asked his “parents” if I could take him to the vet – “no.” (I hid doggie anti-inflammatories in his treats). Sue me!
So, when they decided to move with their double cab pick-up, car, and fifth wheel, but had no room for Otto, my heart leapt. Yes, yes, yes, he can live with us!
Sadly, he only lasted 2 years – but they were good years. If I may share a few pictures.
This is Otto with is brother, Sweeney, who went to heaven 3 months earlier and was waiting for his bro. ❤️

Danny Federici and David Sancious were co-keyboardists in the E-Street Band when I saw Bruce in my Jersey hometown, 3rd row in a 60-seat club / discotheque, they had folding chairs set up on what usually was the dance floor
1974, after the first 2 albums and a year before he exploded nationally in 1975 with Born to Run and 2 magazine covers in the same week, Time and Newsweek
Bruce put on the high-energy show he became famous for a year later, jumping off speaker cabinets, full-band sing-alongs / call-and-response (Kitty’s Back).
He had the whole arena-scale show and physical performance level together already, he’d developed it playing clubs and college auditorium shows and rolled it all out in this little room.
Virtuoso band, every instrument, including Bruce on guitar with that Fender Esquire/Telecaster. No Miami Steve Van Zandt yet, he came later. Big finish was Rosalita I think.
I had the first 2 albums but Born to Run left me cold, I didn’t pick it up, it sounded too grandiose / contrived for my taste.
I mainly liked Tenth Avenue Freeze Out and would drop a dime on it on the jukebox out at the pub.
But the “legendary”-sounding songs like Born to Run sounded to me like they’d been written/built to sound legendary and I couldn’t get past what sounded to me like the artifice in that.
But I could see how those drove his fame and widespread acceptance.
Danny mostly played Hammond organ and Sancious mostly played piano. Can’t recall Danny pulling out the accordion, but they played Sandy so he probably did.

I have been shaving “by feel” in the shower for years, instead of standing over a sink and having to clean that up afterwards.

I volunteer my family for hosting a black bear cub! My kids would be through the roof pumped about having a cub to look after.
How cool would that be to have your own living breathing bear to cuddle up with?

When it became apparent that our sweet chocolate lab, Clarence, would be leaving us soon, we took him to a B&B that catered to dogs in Laguna Beach. Spent every day at the beach with him. He would chase all the balls thrown – even those thrown by other folks for Their dogs. 😁
Everyone was very understanding and gracious.
We still refer to it as “Clarence’s” vacation – and as our favorite ever.

COMMENTARY FOR JOHN 15
“Christ the true Vine. (1-8) His love to his disciples. (9-17) foretold. (18-25) The Comforter promised. (26,27)1-8 Jesus Christ is the Vine, the true Vine. The union of the human and Divine natures, and the fulness of the Spirit that is in him, resemble the root of the vine made fruitful by the moisture from a rich soil. Believers are branches of this Vine. The root is unseen, and our life is hid with Christ; the root bears the tree, diffuses sap to it, and in Christ are all supports and supplies. The branches of the vine are many, yet, meeting in the root, are all but one vine; thus all true Christians, though in place and opinion distant from each other, meet in Christ. Believers, like the branches of the vine, are weak, and unable to stand but as they are borne up. The Father is the Husbandman. Never was any husbandman so wise, so watchful, about his vineyard, as God is about his church, which therefore must prosper. We must be fruitful. From a vine we look for grapes, and from a Christian we look for a Christian temper, disposition, and life. We must honour God, and do good; this is bearing fruit. The unfruitful are taken away. And even fruitful branches need pruning; for the best have notions, passions, and humours, that require to be taken away, which Christ has promised to forward the sanctification of believers, they will be thankful, for them. The word of Christ is spoken to all believers; and there is a cleansing virtue in that word, as it works grace, and works out corruption. And the more fruit we bring forth, the more we abound in what is good, the more our Lord is glorified. In order to fruitfulness, we must abide in Christ, must have union with him by faith. It is the great concern of all Christ’s disciples, constantly to keep up dependence upon Christ, and communion with him. True Christians find by experience, that any interruption in the exercise of their faith, causes holy affections to decline, their corruptions to revive, and their comforts to droop. Those who abide not in Christ, though they may flourish for awhile in outward profession, yet come to nothing. The fire is the fittest place for withered branches; they are good for nothing else. Let us seek to live more simply on the fulness of Christ, and to grow more fruitful in every good word and work, so may our joy in Him and in his salvation be full.”

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Not mace across, it’s came across
I have done this while out hunting, but with slightly smaller tracks.
It made the shotgun feel too small…..
Someone saw the cougar a couple of weeks later.
Officially speaking, Kentucky will not admit they are here.
However……my kin who have seen them, as well as a friend who is now a retired game warden have reason to disagree.
Seen them on the driveway next to my house. That big, too.
