I’m often darkly amused by common examples of inherently false nomenclature: “Jumbo shrimp.” “Government ethics.” “Unbiased news media.”
And one of our society’s biggest falsehoods-in-a-name: “Non-governmental organizations.”
Until recently, these groups have been widely seen as international, idealized versions of domestic nonprofits.
We thought of them as do-good organizations set up by people who really care — about the environment, or poor people, or children, or freedom.
But as we’ve learned recently, partly as the result of Department of Government Efficiency digging, many “non-governmental” entities are really just fronts for government activities that Americans would never stand for if Washington attempted them directly.
I never thought of them as do-good organizations, because if they were charities they’d be charities, and if they were our government they wouldn’t be NGOs.
The fact that they came up with new terminology, and people like Sean Penn and Charlie Rose were among the first to popularize it, should have alerted people, but it didn’t.
Quasi-Government Organizations?
Quasi-government organizations = Congressional Terrorists.
The “Shadow Government” was exposed by none other that Comrade Barrack Obama in December 2016, after the elections.
Obama specifically stated …. “I am NOT leaving Washington DC. I will remain engaged and am forming a Shadow Cabinet to follow and counter President Trump’s efforts”.
Obama and Biden specifically went to Europe and Asia in December 2016, to enlist clients and outline plans.
Obama’s “Shadow Cabinet” openly supported Iran, North Korea and China in negotiations vs President Trump’s efforts 2017-2020.
Now we have another Democrat Run “Shadow GOVERNMENT” publicly announced by Tim Waltz, 2-weeks ago.
There are plenty of even older examples: The Rail Barons, The Billionaire Progressives of the early 1900’s, The US Marines being used in the 1920-30″s to secure the overseas possessions of RICH US OWNER across the Caribbean and Central America, etc., etc. These examples were not so much Puppet Masters as they INFLUENCERS.
DOGE is finding the money sources that have been in place since 1961 to fund the CIA and have been in place since the 1990’s to also fund the growing Shadow Government we call the Deep State. The new element is the final growing public realization that there was a slow creeping assumption of control of the US Government by the Oligarch Families that has been running in parallel for well over 100 years. In 2008, the Oligarchs struck to flip the control dynamic when they installed Barrack Obama.
Unwinding the money sources to real criminals involved with the Shadow Government will be the challenge, both in being allowed to execute the search and in the search itself … the trails found so far are to the stupid and greedy who are not part of the Shadow Government. The best remedy at this point is to eliminate the MONEY POOLS and associated Management Offices, to disrupt DEEP STATE Operations and ID Suspects as they scream … while attempting to follow the trails.
Why are they not being charged with sedition?
Simply because bondi, kash, and bongingo are AWOL, possibly even MIA…

Just because folks here on CTH screech for “arrests” and “prosecutions” does not mean actions taken are illegal nor has anything been PROVEN.
It has nothing to do with “people not acting”. Either you follow the laws as written or you conduct lawfare by twisting and misapplying the law. So, far President Trump’s administration has opted to not pursue lawfare.
Action is limited to firing, closing down and defunding.
The part that is galling is the lack of public action by key appointees in even performing; the firing, closing down and defunding. Add, to that frustration, a Republican run Congress that has elected to remain neutral in action and hostile in language v/v action by the President Trump.
Musk has said he did find criminal action and knows who the criminals are…..you can bet it was reported to the DOJ.

I suspect an intentional release by either a PLA black world project or a lone wolf as was (supposedly) involved in our post-9/11 anthrax letters. The former head of the UK’s MI6 also suspects this because of the advantages it brought for the CCP as I found in the book, “The Truth about Wuhan: How I Uncovered the Biggest Lie in History.”
The CCP championed a member of a Marxist party from an extremely poor country that owes China 12 billion dollars in loans to be head of the WHO just after Trump was sworn in and as the Wuhan lab was coming fully on-line with some US funded gain-of-function research.
They developed a virus whose external spike protein ALONE was cytotoxic to destroy US public trust in the rapid response vaccine development technology (mRNA) US biodefense depends upon to react quickly to biological threats. This caused high numbers of serious side effects from the use of that technology even though those side effects are most likely mostly due to the spike protein itself and not the mRNA delivery mechanism. Those adverse effects were heavily suppressed in media in an attempt to counter the PLA’s goal.
They counted on US involvement including US intel agencies wanting an inside look at what the PLA/CCP was doing at the Wuhan lab to ensure an enthusiastic cover-up in the West.
They knew the pandemic would stop cold the worst anti-CCP demonstrations since Tienanmen Square in Hong Kong.
They counted on the pandemic destroying Trump’s reelection prospects for which he would otherwise have been a SHOE IN.
They knew that his loss would bring to power in the US the most socialist and CCP compromised regime and cause changes in voting procedures (unsolicited mail ballots) and policies (ex., open southern border) that would help maintain that.
The CCP-compromised candidate occupying the White House would then act as a puppet for the socialists and their Globalist allies in the US who want to create worldwide “capitalism with Chinese characteristics” along with a completely autocratic world government.
This change would be accelerated by that regime by driving Russia into the arms of China, something the US had for many decades after WWII spent much effort to prevent. The China Card played by Nixon against the USSR is now being played against the US.
They knew it would destroy the US economy while bolstering the Chinese economy by bringing about greater than ever deficit spending in the US, the debt-based stimulus then leading to persistent inflation and huge national debt interest payments.
The fuse was lit to blow up the “everything bubble” time bomb laid down by 14 years of “temporary emergency measure” near zero interest rates since the Global Financial Crisis by the PREDICTABLE reaction to the CCP virus – massive deficit spending. The latest effect directly related to that was the fight against inflation caused by that.
They knew the pandemic would cause massive division, political and otherwise, within the US over COVID-19 related issues and the Maoist cultural revolution techniques implemented by the senile puppet WH resident their virus installed.
They knew it would cause the loss of key liberties and privacy in the US over same.
They knew it would at least to some extent address China’s HUGE aging demographics problem caused by their former one child policy now growing worse due to a declining birth rate by releasing a virus that kills mostly the elderly and made sure that is the LEAST vaccinated segment of their population. Fauci has stupidly stated publicly that he can’t understand why the elderly are the least vaccinated in China.

There is a problem with the timeline. The 2019 military games were held in China in October whereas, there is ample evidence from various countries blood/serum samples demonstrating SARS-CoV-2 antibodies by September. Therefore, its possible SARS-CoV-2 was around in August 2019, if not earlier.
Certainly, however, a release could have been done specifically at the military games in October to ‘seed’ SARS-CoV-2 around the globe more rapidly.

And then if your department, division, whatever, “gave” a lot of money, the bosses got to go to a fancy dinner.
No, I was never asked or coerced to give a dime to any charity.
This is a recent article, but it was a common thing back when when United Way used to dominate the workplace campaign giving, that employers would even resort to deducting donations from workers’ paychecks. It was controversial, obviously.

U W would openly solicit for donations within the work place – and utilized work place personnel peer pressure (UW shared stats on % of the office that donated in prior year, while seeking a higher % )
U W charity has a very very high administrative cost, meaning less and less of a U W contribution actually made it’s way to help the intended needy.
In later years, some office personnel solicited fellow employees to contribute to an office pool to buy lottery tickets. It was interesting to decline. Eventually, they stopped asking non contributors.
The ‘what if…. ‘ wasted imaginations / time never seemed to understand the rare odds of winning a jackpot. The requests to donate always increased when the lottery pot got high (and the odds of winning, decreased).

This jogged my memory…I remember in 1980 I was working at a bank as an analyst making $15k annually and the Credit Manager called a meeting of everyone and said that United Way was a great cause and we would have to “decide” how much of our paychecks would be deducted for this organization.
I asked my Credit Manager how much do you think is appropriate and he said $250/month. $250 was a lot of beer and rent money back then and I said i had a problem with it and was willing to give $25. He called me out and said that because i was single and had no family to support that it was unacceptable. I said that fact was not my fault and charitable organization giving should be voluntary. I settled for $50…
I left the Bank soon thereafter and entered the Real estate biz…life has been good…

They would come to each store and hold United way meetings and try to get you to donate. They made it seem like you were doing something for your community. It was the right thing to do. They took $2.00 out of my check every week, for a very long time. It wasn’t mandatory but you were encouraged.
At our printing company they handed envelopes out every year but didn’t force anyone to give.
Jeez when I left after 40 years some thrifty coworkers were still living paycheck to paycheck!

I remember that too…..when I worked for a savings & loan for 25 years.
Oh yes! I had that happen at my first job in high school. They were really, really unhappy when I wouldn’t give in and donate. Luckily I had talked it over with my parents and they helped me stand firm.
After the campaign was over the manager informed me that I had to reimburse the petty cash fund. Turns out they used petty cash to donate in my name to hit the 100% donation mark! I refused, reiterating that I didn’t want to donate, and it’s not my fault that they chose to donate in my name, on my behalf, with their funds.

As the Trump administration follows through on its promise of deportations, the president suggested at a cabinet meeting on Thursday that farmers could petition to keep workers without legal status, Reuters reported. You’re right. I would submit it costs more to harvest the crops using illegal labor, than if the farm employees were legally here, full time, and lived on the farms with their families. The tangential costs are huge, but paid by the taxpayer. The topic is sensitive, because it involves “anchor babies.”

I’m wondering why not go back to the guest worker program. Let any illegal workers self-deport to their own country under PT’s offer of a plane ticket and stipend, and then apply to come back during growing/harvesting season as a legal guest worker. it seemed to work fine before.
Perhaps many of us take for granted having a home, family, and job nearby. To employ guest workers, we expect them to travel two or three thousand miles, work for eight weeks, go home again, wait three more months, then do it over again: Spring crunch, and Fall harvest. It is difficult for people to continually do this. The problems begin when the guest worker decides to stay and not go home. Typically, a baby is on the way. But, this person, by definition, does not make enough money to support a family. So the state pays for his family.
No one has adequately explained why this demography must exist in our country. I don’t even know if it is a worldwide phenomenon. What do farmers in Italy, France, or The Netherlands do? We had guest workers in agriculture during WWII, and that was understandable, but what led to these programs being continued after the war? I’ll tell you, farms got bigger, and it was convenient for a farmer to pick up the phone and order a crew to be provided by a labor broker at a time, place, and in numbers desired. I don’t think anyone has ever added up the full cost of employing guest workers, not in savings to the consumer or producer, but in the full picture which includes demands on public services.
I don’t want farmers getting any assistance right now, financially or otherwise. They have received plenty. They need to dig in and figure this all out themselves.

Then when he came in the warehouse I tried to ask him what he was picking up, he looked at me like I had two heads. He was some sort of eastern european and was just a disaster of a human. I was SHOCKED. Apparently, the guys in our warehouse told me that’s very common for Amazon truck drivers. ( I don’t normally handle the pick ups as I work in the finance department, but jumped in because I was the last person there on a Friday. Oh, and he was 3 hours late.)

If its a question of ethics, however, or simply your disagreement with policy, you have no right to violate your implied and in some cases sworn oath of office. In that case your sole means of expressing your displeasure is to RESIGN.
You’re free to express why you’re resigning if that does not implicate classified (in the case of the government) or trade secret and other privileged (in the case of the private business) information but that’s all.
This “modern practice” of deliberate subversion of lawful orders and practices because you disagree with the action and thus you believe you have a right to sabotage needs to be put to a final stop.

This needs to be defined in the law as a summary execution-level offense.
