Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come. THY WILL BE DONE, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but DELIVER US FROM EVIL.
For Thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory, forever and ever. Amen †

Temporarily posting for WP ✝️ 🇺🇸 🙏 Make America GOSPEL’d Again! 👍 🙏

Garrison, I discovered this exquisite work by Sor. Not the performance I heard on my local classical station, but I found it delightful. And of course thought of you. Wondered what you’d make of this duo and their guitars, which to my ear had a wonderful sound 😘
Always room for another. Thanks so much, dear Bet. Love Fernando Sor. 🙂
👍🏻 😘
Good morning, dear Bet! ❤️😘
Good morn, dear friend…the sun is shining, God is in His heaven, all is well 🙏🏻😘
Howdy Garrison!
Howdy Garrison! 🙂
Awwww!

Friends forever.
Big softies 😍
Good afternoon burrolady. The look in the eyes on the grown doggo are just so telling. Have a blessed and wonderful weekend.
. . . but deliver us from the Evil One.
The Jesus Prayer
Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy upon me, a sinner.
Amen!
Prayer of Saint Ioannikios the Great of Bithynia (+ 846)
My hope is the Father, my refuge the Son, my protection the Holy Spirit. O Holy Trinity, glory to Thee.
Amin. Amen 🙏🏻

Lazarus Saturday
The Raising of Lazarus
Palm Sunday is tomorrow.
I did not know there was a Lazarus Saturday. This week I was talking to a neighbor who is 45 years old who told me she had never heard of Palm Sunday. I was shocked. She’s a Mormon, so I don’t know.
Kyrie Eleison
Divna Ljubojević
Wonderful Sepp. Thanks for posting this. 🙂
Most amazing as we enter Holy Week! Thank you.
Evening/Morning, Garrison 💕 Oh my…this is a change. And quite nice, too! 😌 Just the ticket as I wait yet again for Mr Sandman to visit. This sort of music takes me way back to years when life was smoother or at least in hindsight seemed to be. You know I’m sure…
So while I listen, I’ll leave some sweet (and otherwise) moggies for our CATURDAY 😸
Well maybe more than a minute ☕😼
Diversity 👍🏻
Good morning, Betsy jones. One of those ‘Security Dogs’ lives with me.
Thank you for your Cornucopia of Caturday!
Good morning, Chris ☕😊💕 Hahahahahaaa!!! Bet his wages are a full food bowl and unlimited nap time. You’re welcome….all good fun and a welcome break from the real world 😸
+ lap naps!
Short story, I had a Maine Coon Cat and I put a perch attached to the window looking over the court yard, which had a tall, wooden fence enclosing it. These were townhouses in San Mateo, Ca.
One night after I went to bed, he woke me up growling and spitting at the window. I couldn’t see anything, but shortly there were policemen crawling all around the place. There was a robbery in the complex.
One knocked on my door and asked if I had seen anything. I said no, but my cat had carried on high earlier. He said, yeah sure! I said, tell one of your men to climb the fence and come in the courtyard and you watch my cat.
He indulged me and sure enough, the minute the man climbed the fence, Moe was growling and spitting at the window.
Needless to say, the policeman smiled and said he had never seen anything like it and said , well I guess you’ve got a guard cat, and then thanked me. By the way, they did catch the thief late that night.
Yikes, Pat!!! Cats just know I think. And a Maine Coon! Bet his size alone would intimidate most. Early warning system 👍🏻😁 Love the story…and his name 💕
My Grandmother had Maine Coon cats and I just loved them. I am still hoping to find one again one of these days.
Bet you’re glad to be back in good ole Texas 😎
Yes I am glad to be in Texas.
From California though, I did move to the Arizona Mogollon Rim to a little town known as Strawberry, 6500 feet altitude. Butterscotch smelling Ponderosa Pines in the spring, wild strawberries and the biggest wild black berries I have ever seen another 500 feet up from where I lived.
Had a dog grooming shop up there for my retirement from the Semiconductor Industry.
Mornin’ Pat
A veritable cat burglar.
Ha Ha, yes, you could say that!
Betsy: This happens every time, with us.
Puzzle pieces
Isn’t that just how it happens?
No boxes…so they will just have to make do…😼
Night time Cats, Garrison…they seem to go with your smooth night time music. Give Tink some loving from me, please 😽
Will do, dear Bet. ‘Tink, now a constant companion, is always at my side looking after my old bones . . . 🙂
You’re her people…can’t think of better 😽
With dogs?!!
Mornin’ Bets
Thank you, again! What a magnificent melange of moggie memes! ❤️ ☕️
Do the stuff…or not 😂☕
Morning, Corny…you’re an early riser. Mine’s full strength ☕☕😁👍🏻!! Necessary, my goodness it is!
Yes I was fortunate this week, more than I felt comfortable posting. Didn’t want to overwhelm. But in the end I thought what the heck…unload them all! CATURDAY comes but once a week. That’s my excuse 💕😉
No excuses necessary, sweet friend. So many here look forward to you and your Caturday selections – including myself. (It’s all about me, doncha’ know)! ♥️
Good morning Betsy. This correctly illustrates how I feel and look before my first cup of coffee.
Thank you for all the cat images this morning.
Fortunately my body gets up with the sun and wants to go to bed between 10-11:00pm. I have never needed an alarm clock. As I get older, I wake up more through the night, but can usually roll over and go back to sleep.
If ever I wake up and can’t get back to sleep, I will probably get on my computer and check out CTH.
Have a blessed weekend.
You and I are cut from the same cloth, Pat. True, true that age thing. We retire about that time as well, ready to call it a day…but just as soon as my head hits the pillow, WHAM!!! Awake with multitudinous thoughts which I can’t rid myself of. Isn’t it lovely to have this place to visit in those early sleepless hours? But no matter how little sleep I might get, like you, my inner clock wakes me up everyday at the time.
PS…Margaret Thatcher functioned on four hours a night btw. If she can, I figure so can I!!😂
Blessed be yours as well, sis 😊
Charter member of the same club – almost lifelong really.
If I can scrounge 2 or 3 hours, I’m ecstatic. Gives me lots of reading time, but for some reason my bedside stack of books never shrinks. 🤔
President Donald Trump is a four hour a night man, too, I hear.
Burrolady and Betsy, we are kindred spirits. Age is the deciding factor here. When I do not have a great night, I can function on four hours, but not for too many days in a row.
I love to read as well, but yes, the stack doesn’t get smaller.??
Thank you both for the camaraderie for me here at the CTH. Love to both of you.
Back at ya’ Pat. 💓
Well . . . dear Bet . . . For me this time of night is special. I worked for awhile as a late night disc-jocky” . . . I was the only one at the station—just me and the transmitter engineer who was located in another town.
Late night radio at that time was a special place. It attracted the ‘night owls’ . . . often people who didn’t have 8am jobs to go to, students, off work musicians, writers (successful and less so), people who worked all night shifts at . . . whatever. It was an eclectic demographic. While I did it, I loved the work.
Tonight I was listening to Linda Ronstadt sing “Round Midnight” and the song perfectly fit my tiny late night persona . . . I actually had a small group of regulars who would call in with requests. I was only 21 but I had dreams of being KRLD and “Music ’til Dawn” . . .
Alas, it was not to last. Station got sold, format changed, and I left to return to school and become a better educated person. But that somewhat eerie, existential feeling of “betwixit-and-between” has never really left me. Nor has the cadre of desembodied voices . . . people I would never meet but who I would still know as friends . . . I still love the stillness of “late nite” which leads me to search it out . . . So here I am with Chet Baker and Paul Desmond. 🙂
Have a wonderful day, love. Going for Texas BBQ in a few hours with my best friends.
Change….not always for the better. I know exactly what you mean with your betwixt and between. Maybe its age, but I find myself drifting backwards more often now and remembering those times we can never get back.
I am a classical music girl, all kinds, all eras. But there is something about jazz, smooth jazz, which touches a part of me that I didn’t know I had. So this really was a welcome diversion tonight for me, and I thank you for it. Enjoy your BBQ with good friends, the perfect combination.
I will be with you in spirit, just as I am tonight with Chet…😘
Thank you, dear Bet. This is what makes the Treehouse such a special place. Being able to encounter—ressurect— these often intensely personal recollections from long past days is such a gift for us to share. These are the life experiences that shaped us . . . made us who we are. This is Treehouse magic, dear Bet. You have to be here in this ephemeral space to know what it is. It doesn’t last long but can be reinvented when space and time align. The Spaniards call it “duende”.
Love the word, dear friend. Once felt, immediately understood. And itnis absolutely magical.
No place like our Tree. Oh how I agree. That human connection which seems to be absent in so much of our lives in our day to day encounters with others. All the better to share experiences (past and present) here with those who have travelled different but similar roads.
And sometimes, dear sir, the same road, even if they didn’t know at the time their paths were crossing 😉😊 Right? Blessed be all our fellow travellers 🙏🏻💕
Smiling at this, dear Bet. The Tri-Towers were only a few hundred feet away from my old gently decaying Victorian. We probably passed each other dozens of times, love.
And then the very first time I came across our Tree, your quote from Winnie the Pooh was the first I ever read. You were just a name then. And now a dear friend…smiling as well at the thought of it 😌💕
(Yes our paths crossed. They had to….smiling thinking of that, too 🤗)
Thanks for that. The changes to the simple joy of good radio, especially late night are unknown to younger generations.
Good morning RJH. That is so true. As a young teen, I had a little transistor radio I would put in my bedroom window late at night so I could get better reception. Had to keep it low as my parents would not have been too happy with me listening so late at night. Have a wonderful and blessed weekend.
P.S; Did you ever catch the Phil Hendri show? I think it was KTLA Los Angeles. Talk radio trolling. Callers unfamiliar with his characters would call in furious to argue, hilarious. He played both host and guest, true radio talent.
Alas, no. Knew about him and KTLA however. 🙂
Yay! I’m here for the cats! 🍿
Stay for the conversation !! 💕 Working on next week 👍🏻😸

Mornin’ dear Patience 🙂
Good Saturday, my man Garrison 😎
-💌💕
Good Saturday to you too dear Patience. Thanks for posting this great photo of the “guitar kitty”.
Morning, Miss Thoughtful P…I’ll get the cups and saucers, shall I? 💕
I’ll provide the home baked scones, and tea biscuits, but alas I’ve no clotted cream. Am unable to find any here. I may have to resort to making my own.
Just love the red teapot used as a vase. It has given me another alternative vase for my flowers. Thank you Patience.
Small pitcher/large creamer work really well; cut flowers kinda short and it’s sweet on kitchen table or elsewhere.
What a great idea for the short stems. thank you for the tip.
Never mind…I see you’ve thought of absolutely everything 🤗
Looks like the garden in front of my sister in law’s 14th century farmhouse where we used to sit and take tea next to the nearby flowing stream.
I used to sit there in conversation and knowing that as nothing stays the same took mental notes and snapshots which I stored up for the times I understood would come…when we were no longer able to rest in sublime peace away from the world in our own. I’m forever grateful I did…sigh…
Ta for the memories 😘
-💕
Oh, Bets
I so love your vivid remembrances. Wish we could all meet there. 🙏
For various and sundry reasons, including health issues and plain old decrepitness (is that a word?), we have neglected our little orchard – lost a few trees. Breaks my heart and makes me feel a bit guilty, but, as you would say – Needs must!
Anyhoo, our young man who helps us outdoors, is here today, and we are clearing out the obviously gone trees and planting some new. We already have one plum, and are planting a couple of new ones suited for our desert climate.
My favorite place to sit with burros and dogs. 🥂
Burrolady, I remember when living in Paradise Valley, I tried to grow all sorts of vegetables, flowers, but alas the climate was not suitable. I did enjoy picking grapefruit, oranges and lemons right off the trees though!
When I moved to the Mogollon Rim, I had peach, and apple trees but alas no citrus. Made a deal with my friend and she would bring me up fresh citrus and she would take home apples, peaches and vegetables from my gardens.
It was a great trade off.
Pat
When I first moved here over 40 years ago from New England, I was gob-smacked by how easy it was to grow all manner of fruit, vegetables, roses – of course copious water is the number 1 essential. But, like you, no citrus. Just 500 feet lower in altitude, citrus is a staple for most.
We have a lovely lime tree about 25 feet high that has gorgeous evergreen foliage and produces the most bitter orange fruit you ever tasted!
So, as hope springs eternal, we just planted another lime and have situated it in a very sunny location, with a stuccoed straw bale wall (they retain the sun’s heat even in winter) protecting it – and said a little prayer!
Hoping for a G&T with homegrown lime! 😋
Now that’s my cup of tea!
Why Thank You, Patience!
😄
Oh my! One of the most heart-rending compositions every written.
🙂
Hi Garrison and Tink – guess it might be afternoon in your neck of the woods, but still morning here.
This is so smooth! I’m gliding around (or, rather, this old gink’s version of gliding 😁) doing housework. Very soothing. Thanks. ❤️
caturday ♥️
Good morning, Annie!
good 🌞 afternoon chris !

No bio video, YT was pushing … Geo floyd when searching for this guy’s name
This year is Geo Carlin & Geo Bush & a few non bio or wiki audios on him <<<<< who ever is watching these this would be a good one to make a bio of.
In my early years of burn nursing, he was never mentioned…only the Americans…
Thank you for this posting!
Messier listed his faint fuzzies as he found them. What I have never figured out is why the Andromeda Galaxy, the Orion Nebula, and the Pleiades are so far down on the lists. You don’t even need a telescope to see them. They are very prominent and visible to the naked eye with dark skies. Yet Andromeda is #31, the Orion nebula is #42, and the Pleiades star cluster is #45.

In case you missed it, I am posting this video. It is about END TIMES. Please pass it on to anyone you think would be interested in the subject.
It is Barry Awe’s latest video. “In 2025, A Portal between Heaven and Earth opens when heavenly bodies align in Nisan!”
Here’s my musical contribution today.
So they’re making a big deal about aircraft accidents and crashes. They claim all the accidents and crashes since they started cleaning house and cleaning up at the FAA. Well here are the facts that they won’t show you.
Whats not to love?
Good morning rah. That’s really funny. It is like the donkey knows exactly what the dog did and is laughing at it.
Very good. Great video. Thank you. Have a great weekend.
Thanks for the laugh!
I found this video to be very sad.
Touching an electric fence with dry fingers is painful enough. I can only imagine the pain this poor dog felt when its wet nose got zapped. . .
Palm Sunday weekend….there is a ‘tradition’ out there in Catholicism, that the donkey who carried Jesus into the city on Palm Sunday…was the offspring of the donkey that carried Our Lady into Bethlehem and later, Egypt. Don’t know for sure, but it was a sweet story often told by my nuns in grade school
Good morning Aggiegirl. Thank you for this wonderful story of the donkey. What a wonderful way to start the weekend. Tears freely flowing this morning. Have a blessed weekend.
❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 thanks!
I used to tell the g-kids this story. So humbling to be around these wonderful creatures – every one I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing has the cross. Even my white burros have a cross in their undercoat which is not always readily apparent.
……Jesus Is The Reason
❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
Patience and burrolady, It is not the season but your picture of the Nativity brought this to my mind. My Grandmother would hang this hand painted burlap linen wall hanging up every Christmas, and this is what was painted on it with pictures of the animals and the baby Jesus in the manger:
“I”, said the Dove from the rafters so high – “I cooed him to sleep so he would not cry”
“I”, said the sheep with curly horn, I gave him my wool to keep him warm – He wore my coat on Christmas morn
“I”, said the donkey all shaggy and brown “I carried his mother up hill and down I carried her to Bethlehem Town”
“I” said the cow – all white and red – “I gave him my manger for a bed, I gave him my hay to pillow his head
Thus every beast by some good spell in the stable dark was glad to tell of the gift he gave Emanuel – and the friendly beasts around him stood.
Jesus – Brother Kind and Good
I have this and it gets hung every Christmas season, along with my Nativity Scene.
What a treasure
-all of it!
Mornin’ Patience
Sure lovin’ all the great pics. Thanks again! ♥️
🎶 You’ll laugh so hard, your sides will ache, your heart will go pitter pat – watching Felix, the wonderful cat 🎶
Now. Why is it, I can remember that, but, have no idea why I am in this room?!

Good day, Lady Wassail 💕

Maritime kitty superstition….this one can’t be overstated via Brave search:
Happy “cartoons and cereal day” everyone.
for levi, and all other silent tree-branchers who are in our thoughts and prayers.
peace to all who gather here, and thank you Jesus for our joy in being together.
Good morning Patience. Love all the cat photos, especially the ones where they are peering through the windows.
Cats love sitting at windows. Have a wonderful and blessed weekend.
Happy Saturday, Brat 😜
LOL
Good morning rah. LOL that’s quite amusing. Thank you for the smile. I don’t think they know what a real man is until they run into one. I’ll take a real man (married a Marine) over these “girlie” boys that are being raised any day. Have a wonderful and blessed weekend.
Back at ya! It is a yard work day. Lots of sticks to pickup and put into the fire ring. Then time to get out the mowers. High forecast to be just 57 but it’s sunny with a light breeze.
I’ve got a bunch of small branches and sticks to clean up as well. It is going to hit 80 today, so I’ll have to wait until it cools off some. Lawn needs mowing as well.
We just got a high wind advisory in effect from 9 AM to 7 PM CDT Sunday. There will be additional sticks and small branches to pick up. Burn ban in effect.
When I finally get them picked up, I will transfer them to a ditch in my woods that will provide shelter for bird, and small critters when winter comes back.
Cute.
Love lighthouses. I have several paintings of various lighthouses on my walls. Thankyou.

Love the photos. I’ve got to somehow figure out how to get photos from my phone on to my computer and the CTH thread. I’ve got a photo of one of my roosters on the back of my mare and she isn’t even bothered about it.

-A mother hiding her face as she puts her children on sale (Chicago USA, 1948)
🤕🤒
😪
Does anyone know the backstory on this photo ? I am very interested.
“ It was published in The Vidette-Messenger of Valparaiso on Aug. 5, 1948, with the caption, “A big ‘For Sale’ sign in a Chicago yard mutely tells the tragic story of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Chalifoux, who face eviction from their apartment. With no place to turn, the jobless coal truck driver and his wife decide to sell their four children. Mrs. Lucille Chalifoux turns her head from camera above while her children stare wonderingly. On the top step are Lana, 6, and Rae, 5. Below are Milton, 4, and Sue Ellen, 2.”

Mornin’ Winston
😃 😀 😄 😁
I inherited my Grandma’s china in this pattern, Blue Danube, over 50 years ago. And, I use it all the time.
those dishes are beautiful ♥️
For what it’s worth, For Veterans day or Memorial Day, I will put little toy soldiers in a basket at church that Sunday before and distribute one to each person that comes in to church as a reminder to pray for all our troops stationed here and out of our country. It is widely accepted, as we have a lot of veterans in our church. Have a blessed day.
I’d say it’s well past that time.
More like banana jerky!
I’m afraid those bananas have gone way over to “the other side” and can not be redeemed for bread. LOL
Have a great weekend.
Wishing you a Wonderful Saturday
Thank you

I picked this up yesterday at Zerohedge – cheered yet again for Dr Atkins. His work was popularized in the 1960s. Doc promoted the low carb diet to anyone who would listen. He researched every study that attempted to disprove Dr Atkins work – and each study proved he was right.
The article promotes what they call ‘ketogenic’, but the bottom line is that when you remove fat rich foods from your diet you replace them with carbs and sugar. The predictable result is a fat, obese, lethargic population.
https://www.zerohedge.com/medical/new-food-pyramid-metabolically-unwell-nation
And he was ridiculed, harshly. Almost blackballed.
Sound familiar?
The one issue that I recall was the concerns for those with renal disease and some heart ailments. But he too advised those patients–people reading his book, to get with their own doctor before changing things.
In spite of the fact that later on, he got many on to lowered or eliminated doses of blood pressure medications and-or oral anti diabetic meds (for Type II Diabetes). He also found that many yeast and fungal infections including athletes foot, disappeared by the reduction of carbs/sweets/sugars.
But the one thing he emphasized, was exercise. That was non negotiable.
And advocated for veggies…the darker in color, the better for you.
perhaps more than the actual pyramid, of more importance is to avoid products in plastic, boxes, cans, etc. I have seen a couple of recent pictures of a human in a grocery store aisle – no real food on display.
I try to focus on REAL FOOD – a banana, a simple chicken breast, cabbage – well, you know what I mean. I envy all of you folks with gardens – and am jealous when you access grass fed meat (processed for all the vegetarians – ha ha)
I have focused on real food all my life, just like what my mom and grandmother cooked for us growing up. We always had a vegetable garden. I brought my son up the same way and he is in very good health.
I still try to have a vegetable garden every year and I have a few chickens for fresh, range free eggs. Have not been able to find a good ranch, grass fed beef but haven’t given up finding one. If I can’t find one, I’ll buy a calf along with someone who may not have the property to raise one and we can split the meat, as I have the property to grass feed a calf.
When I do go to the store, I just stay on the outside of the store and don’t go on the aisles except for baking supplies.
Following this has been good for my health, as I am 75 this year and do not take any medications, Just vitamins and mineral supplements.
EACH DAY WE TAKE UP THE OFFENSIVE WEAPON OF THE WORD OF GOD – THE SWORD OF THE SPIRIT – ONE VERSE OPENS THE DOOR TO THE CONTEXT OF THE CHAPTER MESSAGE
Verse of the Day for Saturday, April 12, 2025
✟
“For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.”
John 6:38 (KJV)
COMMENTARY FOR JOHN 6
“Five thousand miraculously fed. (1-14) Jesus walks on the sea. (15-21) He directs to spiritual food. (22-27) His discourse with the multitude. (28-65) Many of disciples go back. (66-71)1-14 John relates the miracle of feeding the multitude, for its reference to the following discourse. Observe the effect this miracle had upon the people. Even the common Jews expected the Messiah to come into the world, and to be a great Prophet. The Pharisees despised them as not knowing the law; but they knew most of Him who is the end of the law. Yet men may acknowledge Christ as that Prophet, and still turn a deaf ear to him.”
“36-46 The discovery of their guilt, danger, and remedy, by the teaching of the Holy Spirit, makes men willing and glad to come, and to give up every thing which hinders applying to him for salvation. The Father’s will is, that not one of those who were given to the Son, should be rejected or lost by him. No one will come, till Divine grace has subdued, and in part changed his heart; therefore no one who comes will ever be cast out. The gospel finds none willing to be saved in the humbling, holy manner, made known therein; but God draws with his word and the Holy Ghost; and man’s duty is to hear and learn; that is to say, to receive the grace offered, and consent to the promise. None had seen the Father but his beloved Son; and the Jews must expect to be taught by his inward power upon their minds, and by his word, and the ministers whom he sent among them.”
Commentary by Matthew Henry, 1710.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.
Amen.
PLEASE PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER
MAPA = MAKE AMERICA PRAY AGAIN
HEAL US, LORD
In the morning, we are reminded
Of what we need to do today
We try to remain broad-minded
As we attempt to make our way
As our eyes open to a new day
We think first thoughts of You
For it is You who will guide our way
Over, above, and through
Without You we would be lost
Confused in mind, body, and soul
Through this maze we would be tossed
No way we would ever be whole
What would You have us do today
Where are we needed the most
Who needs a prayer a clearway
Nearby or at a distant coast
Be we anxious or just be concerned
About another in the mind
Whose life may suddenly be upturned
Or it may be one in a bind
Whatever it is the Spirit knows
For it is He who guides us
Through many sorrows even woes
With happy blessings He abides us
Inspire us Lord as we make our way
Guide us Lord in all that we do
Make this a most prosperous day
As we praise and glorify You
Not for us do we work so hard
Not for us do we normally pray
Not for us do we stand guard
But to help another make his way
Help us, Lord, to be of service
Help us, Lord, to glorify You
Help us, Lord, not to be nervous
About what it is we must do
Open our hearts and clear our minds
Open our ears wide to listen
Help us to open the spiritual blinds
Pray for those we need to christen
Many are lost in ways unknown
They have been brought to the edge
They need to know they are not alone
They must come now off of the ledge
There is healing in the Blood of Jesus
There is healing in His mighty Word
There is healing in His love that frees us
It is by His love that we are stirred
It is You in whom we find comfort
From worldly concerns of the day
From all that brings discomfort
Help us, Lord, to drive it away
Strengthen our bodies and minds
Bring peace to those around us
Bless Your people of all kinds
Let not turmoil surround us
Heal us, Lord, as only You can do
From whatever it is that ails us
Let us not be discouraged or blue
Break up the evil that assails us
Give us peace of mind, body, and soul
Help us stand strong and not falter
Give us back that which they stole
Grant our petitions left at the altar
Bless us, Lord, and heal us
From all that would keep us aback
From all adversity seal us
Protect us from ev’ry attack
Under Your wings we are sheltered
From all that could ever harm us
With Your love we are weltered
Nothing will ever alarm us
Thank You for hearing our prayer
For guiding us on our way
For nothing could ever compare
With blessings received each day
AMEN

Patrick,
Really? I’m sorry but there are plenty of oxygen thieves in the country.
How about a follow up to let us know what happened to that oxygen thief?

I know everyone’s been waiting all week to see my thoughts concerning…
The theory that the collapse of the wave function disproves the theory of quantum mechanics…
Back in the summer of ’99, I was reading a magazine article about the advent of quantum computing…
Iirc, digital data was described as binary, 1’s and 0’s {yes and no}…
Quantum computing sought to introduce a free radical theory to the binary, and add a tertiary category of “maybe” into the data stream…
Which would be just fine…
If one wanted to create an illogic circuit…
I prefer Actual Intelligence…
Binary like…
Male and female created He them.
