Yesterday N. NJ saw a temperature swing of nearly 60 deg. F from the mid and high 70s to the low 20s in just a couple of hours!

Now, remember the cold blast I was talking about about a couple weeks ago? It’s coming. It’s coming a little late, but it’s coming. The front range of the Rockies on down into NM and N. Texas are going to get plastered. No doubt about it. We’re talking the possibility of snow in Waco in April.
Joe thinks that cold will end up in the east running right down to the mid Atlantic states and as far west as the Indiana. Thinks there is a fair chance places like Philly and DC will see a winter storm in April!

This is lifelong devastation for those parents. If people would expend the energy and process into researching the poisons being injected into their child, that they do, say…..into buying a new “smart” phone, maybe we could stop this insanity.
For those who also love their animal family, the same point can be made regarding their “schedule” of vaccinations. Reading testimonials of people who have lost their precious friends due to overwhelming their systems with pharmaceuticals will bring you to tears. Think seizures.
I do only rabies – and even that, only after a titre, or, if you are lucky, with a veterinarian who agrees with your concerns and will “adjust” the dose with a wink and a nod.

You and your mom are right to be concerned about statins ( and some are worse, than others) .. read about them online. In place of them many heart patients have been switching to Dr Linus Pauling’s protocol. The doctors keep saying there have been no tests to verify the results but that’s because the Pharms don’t want to do tests using Dr Pauling’s recommended doses for the tests, they use much smaller doses so they get the results they want., no profits in patients taking lots of vitamin C. Lots on Statins

Mom and I also take NAC from Swanson. She takes two 500 mg C 3x/day.
She does not like the size of the 1000 mg.
I have been giving her 16 mg of Ivermectin once a week as a prophylactic.
It is 2-3 yr old individually bubble wrapped ones from India via mail order. I have a fresh batch here if we come down with an ailment requiring it. As well as Hydroxychloroquin instead of Quercetin if illness strikes.
My Dr. would not give me a script for those items. But she is head of the Internal Medicine Dept at a large county hospital.
I know she has to kowtow to political pressure. 12 years ago she could only give me time release morphine because she was not allowed to dispense OxyContin, the time release Oxycodone.
The people that get euphoria from opiates (I am not one) ” like ” oxy and hydrocodone for that. Making life miserable for people that need it and cannot get it 😡
I tried taking large doses of “C” when sick, but when I get over 8000 mg/ day it causes gastric distress.
Dr Pauling calls that ‘bowel tolerance. and says everyone is different. He tells people to find their level and if it is like yours, to take what you can, without problems.
8000 units is quite high anyway, and compared to what most people ingest you would be protecting yourself quite a bit.
I can take quite high levels, eg 12 thousand units if I need to, with no problem, and some people find slowly increasing the amount over time can enable them to increase their tolerance. Remember to take Lysine and Proline with C to keep your blood vessels clearer.
You seem to be very well prepared for anything that comes along. That’s great.
Because of your ‘health awareness’ you are probably healthier than the average person. You yalso are really looking after your mom, she must be in really good caring hands. Also, You can always consult a Naturopath if you feel you or your mom need more help with what to take.
That 8000 was only when I was actually sick, my regular daily intake is 1500-4000, depending on how much I eat and if I remember! I usually do not, unless I take out the bottle and leave on the counter.
I take my supplement regimine with food. Because C is excreted so quickly, I spread it out.
I know Dr. Joseph Mercola advises to take water soluble on empty stomach and fat soluble w/food.
If I did absolutely everything he suggests (exercise, daily sun exposure, etc.), I would not have time to do much of anything else!
I will have to get some Lysine & Proline with my next order to Swanson (soon).

You are very welcome, 🙂 you are doing all the right things, as for the Vit C, just take what you can, when you can, even at your lowest level you are taking way more than the inadequate ‘recommended dose’ given by the medical profession, (eg my doctor)which is only barely enough to prevent Scurvy. You seem to have really understanding doctors, that is such an adfvantage.
Animals make their own vit C, everyday, the equivalent in body weight a small cat makes about 7 grams a day. and it increases when they get sick. I wish we had that ability. All animals do make their own vit C I read, with the exception of Guineau Pigs.

Good afternoon Soazburrolady. My dog I got from the shelter three years ago had to get the required vaccines when I adopted him..
He is confined to a fenced in large yard, so I haven’t given him any vaccines since then. He doesn’t like riding in the car, so I never take him out in public.
He is very healthy, not over weight and acts like a puppy still, (he was 10 months old when I adopted him).
My senior horse no longer goes anywhere and he’s healthy and has not had any vaccines for almost two years. He also has a very large fenced in pasture to roam in.
I just do not trust them as I know people that have lost dearly loved pets and/or pets that suffer from seizures that never had problems until receiving vaccines.

The old vet, who I adored, unfortunately retired. He told me that it was nuts to give rabies vaccine to our burros, mule, horse as there had been only 1 recorded case in equids in our area over the past several decades, and it was not worth the risk. Likewise, he gave a “reduced” version of rabies vaccine to the pups who are licensed (a requirement) and do leave the property with us. Kitties get only the first one and live indoors.

Good evening Soazburrolady. When I had cats show up at my ranch I’d catch them, get them neutered or spay them, they’d get one round of shots and then never another. They all lived ripe old ages.
I also had an old, reliable vet. He had horses, a herd of cows, dogs and cats. He had the same thinking. Loved him. Hated when he retired.
Funny story, and I’ll try to be brief. One day he rounded up and caught every cat on his ranch and spayed and neutered every one of them, as he was getting tired of all the kittens in his various barns. I laughed so hard when he told me the story of the round up. He also had a wonderful sense of humor.
He lived a ripe old age, very close to 100 and continued to run his ranch, ride his horses, etc. until he passed.
If stupidity was a capitol offense then all of these people would end up on death row.

Meeting a General on Omaha Beach

The U.S. general who landed with the first wave on Omaha Beach on June 6, 1944, was Norman Cota, commonly known as “Dutch” Cota. He was a brigadier general at the time and served as the Assistant Division Commander of the 29th Infantry Division. Cota played a critical role in rallying the troops under intense fire and helping to break through the German defenses, famously urging the pinned-down soldiers to move forward with the words, “Rangers, lead the way!” Although he was not the overall commander of the invasion, his presence on the beach with the initial assault wave was notable and inspiring.
Teddy Roosevelt, Jr landed at Utah Beach and similarly motivated troops to get off that beach and move inland. Teddy died from a heart attack a month later and is buried along side his older brother who was a fighter pilot killed in WW I. Making him the only non-WW II combatant buried at the US Cemetery at Normandy.

I didn’t get to visit Omaha with my dad before he passed away, but my brother did, and he was career military in the 80s until they downsized him out
here’s part of an account of my dad’s service history that my brother wrote up:
He was assigned to the infantry and sent to North Africa where he saw action in Tunisia and Morroco. He quickly decided that the infantry was a bad proposition and line divisions stayed in combat for months at a time.
He noticed that the Airborne units did not do much fighting and were quickly pulled back to hold in reserve, sending time in large towns with the ladies while the line units fought it out with the Germans.
What he didn’t realize was that generals always kept their best units in reserve to throw them in in an emergency at a critical point in a battle. In World War II the American Airborne units were the elite. When they fought it would be at critical points.
Anyway, he decided to volunteer for airborne training and told them he had been a physican’s assistant before the war. So they sent him to England and made him a medic. What he did not realize was that a medic had to rescue the wounded, essentially his life expectancy was dictated by the stupidest man in the unit who was usually wounded first.
Dad was sent to the 82nd Airborne Division in England. When the Normandy Invasion was imminent he found out that his Division was expected to take 80% casualties. They had more medics than TO&E in the 82nd and so asked for volunteers to be detached temporarily to the 1st Infantry Division, his old outfit. So he volunteered and finagled his way into it.
This didn’t work out so well, he was in the third wave at Omaha Beach where most of his unit was killed. He and I walked where he landed and he showed me where he crawled from body to body binding wounds or pulling them to cover for eight hours, never leaving the beach area. In the movie Saving Private Ryan the initial beach scene shows a corpsman at work, Dad’s experience would have been much like that. Somehow he got through that without a scratch, amazing.
He stayed with the 1st ID until the breakout from Normandy in August when he sneaked into the Battalion personnel tent and cut himself orders assigning himself back to the 82nd Airborne Division. He then took a few guys, stole a truck full of rations, and headed off to the French city of Rennes for a stress break. He went AWOL for a couple weeks trading food for wine and a place to stay at a tavern in the city.
He was finally rounded up by the MPs and sent packing to the 82nd. A lot of guys were wigging out periodically and there seemed to be little opprobrium attached. The 82nd was in reserve outside of Paris. At some point he was promoted to Sergeant and put in charge of a platoon.
When the Germans launched a massive counteroffensive in the Ardennes in December 1944 the 82nd Airborne and 101st Airborne were sent to the northern and southern flanks of the breakthrough respectively. In the south, the 101st Airborne was surrounded at Bastogne and fought ferociously for a week against several German decisions before Patton broke through to relieve the siege.
Dad’s unit was ordered to attack part of Peiper’s force at night near the town of Chennes in Belgium. It was a dark night in a heavy wood and his battalion and an SS panzergrenadier unit fought it out at close range for most of the night. Neither side took prisoners, and the fighting was very close. Several men were killed with shovels and axes. It was here Dad used the butt of his carbine to kill a German. That’s how the teeth marks got on the butt.
When it was over both battalions had literally destroyed the other, hundreds lay dead and wounded, some right beside each other. Dad and I walked the ground, and to this day those woods are full of abandoned pieces of equipment left over from the battle. That was the only time other than Omaha Beach that he got emotional. His entire platoon was destroyed, only he and two other men were left unkilled or unwounded. A couple of days later he was wounded in the knee by a German 88 artillery round. Taking advantage of the time the 82nd’s stand brought them, several American divisions surrounded and slowly crushed Piper’s SS troopers, wiping out the entire unit.
After the Ardennes he told personnel he had a year of college and they assigned him to a medical unit’s personnel office. I think he lied about that, but he had already forged orders a couple of times so they thought he would probably do a pretty good job. He stayed there for the rest of the war and his description of the advance through Germany is rather like one extended drunken party. He had finally hit on the winning combination of job to stay alive.
Basically, he was a young kid who tried to game the system in order to stay alive (he enlisted at age 17). Really remarkable, while many calmly accepted fate’s cards dear old Dad was constantly maneuvering for a better deal.

COMMENTARY ON MARK 11
“Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem. (1-11) The barren fig-tree cursed, The temple cleansed. (12-18) Prayer in faith. (19-26) The priests and elders questioned concerning John the Baptist. (27-33)1-11 Christ’s coming into Jerusalem thus remarkably, shows that he was not afraid of the power and malice of his enemies. This would encourage his disciples who were full of fear. Also, that he was not disquieted at the thoughts of his approaching sufferings. But all marked his humiliation; and these matters teach us not to mind high things, but to condescend to those of low estate. How ill it becomes Christians to take state, when Christ was so far from claiming it! They welcomed his person; Blessed is he that cometh, the “He that should come,” so often promised, so long expected; he comes in the name of the Lord. Let him have our best affections; he is a blessed Saviour, and brings blessings to us, and blessed be He that sent him. Praises be to our God, who is in the highest heavens, over all, God blessed for ever.”
19-26 “The disciples could not think why that fig-tree should so soon wither away; but all wither who reject Christ; it represented the state of the Jewish church. WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Trader Joes has the nicest flowers and they last a really long time. I went a little bonkers with all the fancy smells and made a couple arrangements for Savannah’s birthday.
Her room smells amazing and shouldn’t we all wake up to lovely fragrance and God’s beautiful creations? I say, yes.
I’m not a great arranger, but I try. These were really reasonably priced. Could never have afforded them from a proper florist.

I would GLADLY bring you flowers, dear Pat. It is one of my greatest joys. For friends, I would try to find lovely water pitchers or blown glass artsy things to use as vases. When the flowers pass on, they still have the pretties.
Flowers just perk things right up and the aromatics are sublime. Wish women’s perfume still smelled the same floral overtures.. seems they only have strong alcohol smells now. I miss the old fashioned scents like freesia, wisteria, stargazer lillies, and gardenia. I want to smell like those all day long.

Oh my goodness… a darling, darling picture. I can’t hold her like that anymore. She’s taller than me now. 😢 😭
Yesterday, our International Bible Study Fellowship online women’s group took our Revelation study and added to it a virtual birthday party for Savannah for her 19th birthday. Women from around the world changed their background screens, hung banners in their homes, donned party hats and sang her the sweetest Happy Birthday ever.
Our group leader tipped me off they were going to do this for her Friday night before and so I went to our local Five Below store and purchased a couple mylar balloons, a sash, a small birthday head band for her, and a big “Happy Birthday” sign and a little disco ball that I hung on the ceiling fan.
There was a young man working the front counter at a cash register that was not operational. They have converted and encourage shoppers to use self-check lines now. Because I needed the balloons filled with helium, I had to ask this young man for help to blow up the balloons.
He got the first balloon blown up and I asked him for a long ribbon to tie it off, so that I would have the extra length of ribbon to tie off to a piece of furniture behind Savannah in our study. This kid – probably 18 years old – acted like he simply couldn’t do anything for himself. They tie the balloons to a plastic chip clip and he, quite literally, said that he didn’t know how to make a knot in the ribbon to secure it to the clip. Another staff member had to come up and help him and between she and I we got the balloons blown up, tied off, and secured to the clip. Guys, I rather frustratingly said “You know… a knot… like you would tie in your shoes.”
He laughed it off and played helpless all the while with ear buds in his ears and standing aimlessly while the other associate finished up the balloon order. He said “I just don’t know how to do that.” and he laughed it off.
I was flabbergasted.
Friends, fellow parents, grandparents, associates and general citizenry —- we DO NOTHING OF VALUE for these children when we do not force them to do for themselves. This method of placating these people who choose to sit down and act helpless instead of being productive citizens is quite literally — killing our country.
If a child CAN do it, they SHOULD do it. Meaning no help from Mommy or Poppy and frankly we need to challenge these kids in hard things and hold them accountable. Savannah had a big “come to meet Jesus” moment this week that cost her quite dearly, when she tried to pull something similar trying to wiggle out of her responsibility thinking she wouldn’t suffer consequences because it was her birthday. How WRONG she was because she drew the short straw in getting a Mom who understands that the hard life lessons they learn now… carry with them long into adulthood and hopefully into a productive and prosperous future life.
When you see this “sit down and act helpless” kind of behavior – don’t let the opportunity pass to hold these people accountable. We need to demand the kind of service and hospitality we expect to see in the world if we are going to turn this mental illness around.

I have some nieces ruined by their Narcissistic Personality Disordered stay at home mother, whose toxicity spread to anyone she touched who were unaware of what she really was. I’ve read there are more narcissists now then ever before. Their mental illness, which fits into the Liberal mental illness rather well, destroys more than just themselves.

Thank you, Colkitto. We all know that children don’t always learn life’s greatest lessons from their parents, including me. They have a series of mentors and sometimes stumbling-alongs that shape them. So if the parents don’t raise these children up in the way they should go, so that when they come of age, they don’t depart from it… someone can reach them and hopefully will. I challenge each of us to be “that” someone. Kids want to learn. Kids love to learn. We can, and should, teach them.

I’m more committed to praying for my two children. The world so dark and evil. They face temptations that I never imagined. I think now I will include in prayer the children of those who frequent this treehouse. A band of amazing men and women who hail from all over, but share the same values.
I think I have shared that we pulled our kids from Public School a few years ago, and put them into a Christian school. The costs are crippling. We see it as immeasurable sacrifice.
The other day my son’s ninth grade teacher told the boys to bring ties to school. He believed that all boys should know how to tie a tie! My daughter’s tenth grade English teacher laughed hysterically at my daughter’s ballad that she had to write because it referenced Trudeau and Cuba! Nowhere in our public schools would such conversations exist. We are truly blessed as parents to have our children there.

Amen, dear brother. We haven’t mastered the beginners drivers license yet. She didn’t pass the first, or second, time. The second time, we think they gave her a trucking test because she didn’t recognize much of the material. So we still need to endeavor towards that. It’s tough to manage the time, but she can enroll in the military and they can teach her there, too.
There is the vocational college that I highly endear and recommend, but I think daughter will apply herself more aggressively.. if she has to do it on her own. So, like her Mom… she may learn things the harder way through prayer and self perseverance.
I’m okay with that.
I’m going to pack her up and send it to you to learn to birth calves. What a glorious experience.
I wish I had pulled her sooner from the indoctrination, but she had a fine Christian school start which frankly taught her well to see the methods of both sides.
The Potters School is an international online school and is excellent for those in need. Worth the sacrifice, but remember too… they will enter this world and have to survive. We can’t shelter them from everything.

I had a sad occurrence yesterday. After dropping Savannah at her job, I went on alone to the movies to see “The Chosen” season 5 beginning.
I swerved and missed a beautiful squirrel who had captured a nut and was crossing the busy road into Zionsville… but sadly oncoming traffic did not see him in time and killed him.
I cried.
But then I gathered myself and prayed that a mighty eagle or hawk needed a meal and this was His Way of providing. Still made me sad on a rainy, kind of lonely kind of day.

Oh Woo, I have trained myself to (try) not to examine the creatures on the roadside too closely. (and I say a little prayer for Jesus to send them to my parents’ open arms in heaven).
One time, I hit a bunny on the Interstate going 75mph. It was totally unavoidable, but I made the mistake of checking my rear view mirror – and cried all the way to work. Never check the rear view after such an occurrence!

The origin of an ingredient was China ( imported for pet food as it was cheap I suppose) It was actually melamine, instead of protein. (Some of this poison was actually put in babymilk in China)
