MANASSAS, Va. (AP) — The alleged leader of the violent MS-13 street gang on the East Coast has been arrested in Virginia, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi announced Thursday.
Bondi lauded the the early morning arrest of the 24-year-old man from El Salvador, who was described as one of MS-13’s top three leaders in the United States, as a major victory in the Trump administration’s effort to crack down on a gang known for brutal violence and extortion.

I’ve got news for everyone, this isn’t a blow to their network. It’s fantastic a POS is off the street, but that’s not how they operate in America.
About 10 years ago, I was out late one night in Adams Morgan, DC. It’s major bar scene in DC. I had had a few cocktails and I’m never not strapped, so I felt quite comfortable in my person.
I saw a Hispanic tattooed male about 28 years old, do a hand off of drugs to a drunken DC socialite. I decided I was going to go question the guy in a chit chatty kind of way. We ended up talking for 30 minutes or so.
He told me he makes hundreds of thousands of dollars per month. He said thousands of them are sent here by the cartels in rotations, and if they don’t get arrested they are rotated out in windows of time. They actually leave America after their tour is over.
He said there is no head guy in the country. There are just groups all over. They are given a single burner phone. Those phones also get rotated out.
If they finish their stint successfully; a new group comes in and the current active phone is passed to the new group.
They aren’t quite like what you would think when you think about gangs or mobs. They are clever, and numbers are so large they don’t have a head because the head is in South America. Just groups with phones.

I think the TreeHouse is great just the way it is including the differing opinions . Lots of us see the big picture and understand how critically important it is to deal with the inside threat and that no major progress will happen until that takes place and lots of us seem perfectly content with basic everyday law enforcement directives being accomplished .
Everyday law enforcement could be easier if cities didn’t claim themselves a ‘sanctuary’ for illegal aliens. That’s one example and how important Youngkin’s cooperation is.
My question is why are so many sanctuary city governors and mayors STILL openly declaring that they will not cooperate with ICE and STILL nothing has happened to them . That was one of Bondi’s biggest promises since day one and lawlessness abounds .
