FBI Director Kash Patel, CIA Director John Ratcliffe and Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard are among the witnesses who testify today before the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI).
The SSCI is the center of the organization silo in Washington DC that permits the Intelligence Community to operate as a fourth branch of government. The hearing today on global and domestic threats was previously scheduled and ‘coincidentally’ now falls on the heels of revelations surrounding a group text chat about Trump administration operations in Yemen.
The hearing is scheduled to begin at 10:00am ET, with livestream links below. The professional political left will be questioning the three cabinet members and will now focus on the national security threat created by Nat Sec Advisor Mike Waltz. WATCH BELOW:

Yep. All by design.
I’m only able to pop in and out, but the current inquisitor is reading from the presumed text and asking Radcliffe leading questions.
I say presumed because – this reeks of the Vindemann trick, where I think it was Schumer who got on the House floor and read what was supposed to be the transcript of that phone call…
…until it turned out that PDJT had the real transcript.
Why would anybody believe Goldberg wouldn’t rewrite it to his own pleasure?
Good point, good memory.
We’re a skeptical audience now aren’t we?
You think a professional writer who lies for a living would do such a thing?
🤣
All day long.
Why would anyone believe Goldberg, period?
That would have been Shiff’s theatrical wannabe playwright speech, although Schumer pulls some doosies in the Senate too!
Not Schumer, it was Shifty Adam Schiff.
I think it was Schiff for brains, not Schumer, but good point.
That whole “closed session” is another opportumity, where they can come out of the closed sessiob, and mischaracterise what was said, and Gabbard, etc. can’t refute.
It wasn’t Chuckie Schumer. It was pencil neck then-congressman Adam Schiff.
Will the “journalist” be indicted/arrested
for hacking and publishing????
He needs to —at least be asked to explain himself: if he didn’t hack WHO invited him❓
Besides Goldberg, whomever from the seeeyeaye added Goldberg into the list needs fired and/or prosecuted.
Deep State Cottonhead is running for POTUS in 2028…so obvious. Maybe Rubio being silent on the discussion is who he’ll pick as a runningmate.
deep state cottonhead??
JD will devour him…quite possibly literally.
Marco Rubio, on the other hand, may have a real shot.
All due respect, but someone sends you flowers, one time and you hear wedding bells!
NOT in favor of either JD or Marco being MAGA Potus nominee in 2028, not at this point, and maybe never.
Puke.
The glee this Atlantic senior journalist presents in this event tells me that democrats, who label themselves as progressives, only care about toppling Trump’s administration, and not the security and welfare of the United States.
What a seriously sick group of people the democrats have become! As to Senator Warner…I smell a real scumbag at play, a very dangerous, hateful beta male with real political power. Just watching Warner’s questions, comments and line of questioning confirms what I have thought about him for some time.
Political hardball for all to see…or refuse to see!
we absolutely loathe warner, none of us voted for him, yet he was ballot stuffed in, what a drunken piece of crap
Remember what the did to Mike Flynn, President Trump, likely bugging of the White House, a furious unprecedented level of Insider leaks his first few weeks (until his team swept the WH and a key WH room was taken down to the studs), honeypot run at George Papadapolous, Carter Pauge setup, FBI, DOJ, C-A, …
Why would they stop now?
I keep hearing in my head “there are trillions at stake.” They will do whatever they have to do to keep the grift going and/or stay out of jail!
This Signal exchange and the consequent gaslighting is taking up all the oxygen, all the news today, and likely will for days to come. It is serving as the deflection from all of the good things that this administration is getting done which the left has been desperate to achieve.
And masking the horrible Dem poll numbers they’re suffering; masking the ‘Go Pound Sand You Scumbag Judge’ developments; masking the scalping of Smucky by his freak subordinate Dem politicos.
Its no FUBAR by any means, but any foothold is still a foothold and puts the Admin on the defensive rather than the offensive.
This^ is correct….unless they find who the deep stater was who set this OP up, parade him in front of us in shackles and prosecute him, they are letting this become Russia hoax, Flynn, the perfect call…all over again….this administration MUST do something different. So far it appears more of the same play book…I pray I am wrong…
I think Trump will change the momentum. He did it once already this term.
Watched the end of the session on CSPAN. Everyone was avoiding Warner like the Plague.
Well, here is the results of me an Grok discussing Jeffery Goldbergs possible motivations for waiting 9 days to notify the White House of the leak.
“I think the proximity of the SSCI hearing on March 25, 2025, provides a compelling and logical explanation for Jeffrey Goldberg’s delayed notification to the White House until March 24, 2025. It fits neatly with the idea that he was balancing multiple priorities—journalistic impact, ethical responsibility, and strategic timing—while holding explosive information for nine days. Here’s why it makes sense:
The hearing, an annual high-stakes event with intelligence heavyweights like Tulsi Gabbard and John Ratcliffe testifying, was a perfect storm for amplifying the leak’s consequences. Dropping the story on March 24, just hours before they’d face senators, suggests Goldberg saw an opportunity to force accountability in real time. Notifying the White House earlier—say, right after the strikes on March 15—might have let the administration bury the breach, spin it quietly, or pressure The Atlantic to hold off. By waiting until the eve of the hearing, he ensured the story broke when officials were already in the congressional crosshairs, making suppression harder and public scrutiny inevitable.
It also tracks with his cautious approach. He didn’t rush to publish when he got the plans on March 15, likely to avoid disrupting the strikes—a move he later justified by confirming their public status first. The hearing gave him a natural deadline: late enough to clear operational risks, early enough to shape the narrative before testimony. The swift, furious reactions from senators like Mark Warner and Ron Wyden, plus Schumer’s escalation to Biden, hint the timing wasn’t accidental—it weaponized the hearing into a reckoning for the administration.
That said, it’s not airtight. If he was purely opportunistic, why not leak it to a senator earlier and let them break it during the hearing? Or publish mid-week to build momentum? The nine-day gap still feels long unless he was verifying details or wrestling with ethics, which the hearing alone doesn’t fully explain. Still, its looming presence on March 25 makes it a damn good reason for picking March 24—max impact, minimal interference, and a front-row seat to the fallout. I’d bet it was a big factor, if not the decisive one. What’s your take?”
AI is woke. I am a skeptic. It feels like a lot of Qnon to push stuff you want to hear.
At least 50% if not more of AI is not accurate. Also, it takes info. from all types of sources and many are fake news or are inaccurate.
All those stores about how much is going to be spent on AI buildings? They’re to house all the thousands of woke geeks working twelve-on twelve-off shifts that are answering all the questions to the “AI” apps. AI is just another IT fad. Hundreds of millions will be poured into it with very sketchy results, then the next IT fad will surface and AI will be put into the dustbin of IT history.
I’m in the “If you have to eat crow, eat it while it’s hot” camp. Its good advice.
This isn’t a FUBAR by any stretch of the imagination. Its no Benghazi, nor an Afghanistan withdrawal.
But own it, refute the premise the Dems are spinning, and move on.
And send Press Sec Leavitt out to spit fire at the media clowns, network by network.
Several participants in the chat have already gone on record debunking the claim that classified information was discussed.
Baddies do Bad…karma follows them. Distractions. 👍🏼
👏👏👍👍💥💥
The real scandal would have been if we discovered JD Vance, Pete Hegseth, etc. were saying one thing to voters in public while completely contradicting themselves in private. Instead, we have clear symmetry and consistency of messaging and ideology. We know these men actually believe what they’re saying in public.
https://t.me/CharlieKirk/19543
Well, so much for that dog and pony show.
Signal is widely considered one of the most secure messaging apps available. It is recommended by privacy experts, journalists, and even intelligence agencies for secure communication. What needs to be discovered is who made the mistake of adding Goldberg to the chat. Whoever that was should be fired. As to the information discussed, none of it was classified. And by the way, instead of spending millions on missiles to attack the Houthis, I recommend the US spend about 900K on a torpedo to sink the Iranian warship providing the Houthis with cargo ship targeting information. Much cheaper and much more effective.
A very public hearing concerning a situation usually conducted behind closed doors, an ironic flip creating some embarrassing rhetoric, and Senator Collins apparently calling in sick…to say NOTHING about how we’re all watching Senator Bennett soil himself….all very instructive just as Trump would want it to be
I have no idea that “none of it was classified”. Based on what has been published, I probably would have slapped a classification label on it (IMHO always better to be safe than sorry).
somebody should ask warner who told james wolfe to leak the carter page fisa to the new york times.
Where’s gurl, Ali Watkins, these days?
Give the Brennan excuse: can’t answer in a public setting “due to the sensitive nature” of the issue.
The old “It’s an ongoing investigation” so I can’t comment would work also. lol
Or the other favorite… Can’t comment on an ongoing investigation.
Been spending time on National Review (NR) and am beginning to conclude that NR is See Eye Hay central!
They turned to the dark side a lonnnnnnnng time ago.
Yeah, but was reading and wondering exactly just what its weird editorial angle was. Is it Ivy League, RINO, neocon? Nothing quite seemed to make sense. The See Eye Hay may be what I was looking for though, and it may explain some of its funding.
It might. There seems to be nothing in which they haven’t infilrated.
But definitely RINO and Neocon.
Remember their 2016 issue devoted to disparaging Mr Trump (as he was then)?
Cover and all…
https://www.nationalreview.com/2016/01/donald-trump-conservative-movement-menace/
They just did another one, written by Charles C.W. Cooke, some British NR yip yop from Oxford.
Ah….dear Charles Cooke…Cockwomble…
“In the Time of Peak Trump” By Charles C. W. Cooke (20 Feb 2025)
In the Time of Peak Trump | National Review
Oh yeah, the NR “New Ideas” summit held last week featured Ron DeSantis, Casey DeSantis, and Brian Kemp, so definitely RINO. Then Jim Geraghty, who works for both NR and WaPo–with it’s well-known See Eye Hay links–just wrote a puff piece on Casey… sheesh!
Mrs Governor….
Enough said.
I think it’s TDS and has been since 2015!
NeoCpn Central for sure, always has been.
Since at least the founding of the “Project for the New American Century (PNAC)”, a 1997 Bush Crime Family neocon creation.

Near the end of the morning session Ratcliffe was being drilled for Signal content he claims that he did not see.
Signal is an interesting app. I’ve used it for years. It is simple to use, but many features are NOT available. One such feature is that YOU cannot enter into an ongoing chat and be able to go backwards to read what was previously said.
Here in Washington State and State Representative was ‘set up’ by bringing him into a Signal conversation that had already been discussing biblical warfare where the students were being taught how and who to kill when taking over a pagan city. The complete context of the thread was used to ‘investigate’ the rep, and the media jumped all over it and the rep finally resigned . . .
Someone NEEDS to tell Ratcliffe how Signal works and that is likely why he had not read the remarks that were being used to indicate he was lying to the committee . . .
“indicate he was lying to the committee” Nice try…LOL Anymore fun stuff you have?
The question is: How many of the attendees knew of the sit-in by Atlantic’s Goldberg? If no one but Waltz knew then Waltz should be summarily dismissed immediately. No questions!
If no one knew then the CIA or whoever organized the chat should be summarily dismissed and prosecuted.
Waltz may be completely innocent.
And he may not be.
But the question is, will those who work closely with him absolutely, truly trust him. How will that affect how freely they interact with him, that seed of doubt now planted no matter how that microscopic seed might be. There can be no cracks in that trust. Is there the teensiest sign of one now?
How about President Trump, who just said Waltz is a good man and maintains his faith in him. He would be less than human if this incident didn’t leave a mark.
I posted on the previous thread a reminder that Sundance wrote he was forecasting it would be Waltz who would be the first to “leave”.
Worth keeping that in mind maybe…
Let’s see the “staffer” responsible for the trick…..parade them before the media….otherwise, Waltz goes…..
I would bet that whoever set this up also doesn’t like Trump’s team using Signal and evading the IC control systems (JWICS and SIPRnet, among others) which are not secure INSIDE the firewall.
They’re only secure outside the wall. The IC can monitor everyone and everything on JWICS/SPIR/etc. Every email, IM, meeting, etc. is monitored.
Keep in mind that everyone on that chat has access to the government owned systems from everywhere. They even get hubs installed at home. Using Signal means they don’t want people who work inside our government eavesdropping and then leaking to the media.
Enter Goldberg.
This was set up to try and force them off Signal because there’s not enough control over that platform. The SSCI is upset that they can no longer eavesdrop on the Executive Branch. They would have to get a warrant, and that would reveal the spying.
Solid logic.
It is. If someone (of the participants knew) that could not help but effect what they would say, knowing it was being listened in on and would be made public.
While not definitive, interesting that Marco apperently stayed silent, for instance.
If Waltz is the deep state plant, its strange they would sabatogue him,…
Minefield, dutch…
Who knows where those “mines” have been planted.
Thank you, Hokkoda, that makes much sense. Someone send Hokkoda’s post to Ratcliffe.
The timing of this occurrence just prior to the hearing, the fact that there is no confirmation that the ‘invitations’ was actually sent by Waltz, etc., should lead one to believe that this was purposefully done, and presumably, either by an ‘agent provocateur’ or the Dems. Politico has a follow up article, quoting people from the Trump WH. Why does anyone speak with them? Of course, the Babylon Bee, if you need to inject humor into this, had the best take: 4D chess as Trump leaks security information to a publication that no one reads….lol
It could be Team Trump knows who did the invitation and no one is saying because if it’s an op, that would be directly accusing certain deep state actors.
I found it interesting that bit of easy to determine info has not been revealed.
Maybe holding it as leverage for later? Or to see what happens next?
I’ve heard of Signal but never used it. From what I’ve read here it doesn’t sound very sophisticated or secure. As much as I hate Microsoft, Teams would probably be better. Just assume the NSA and the chicoms are recording everything.
I have Signal. Never really use it. It is a CIA tool. Google Chat has end to end encryption now. You can create your own encryption is you want using pgp
https://www.geeksforgeeks.org/pgp-authentication-and-confidentiality/
I’ve used Signal for years, though it is only marginally available now, and only with others who also have Signal.
Over the years I have read that it is not as secure as we wanted, in that yes the FIB can get it open – but it takes longer than a regular text messaging service.
Hate to say it again, but it is time to start making arrests.
The longer it goes without some big people paying for the crimes they committed, the more leverage the deep state will have.
Unless almost all the stuff I read here, from Musk and others is lies and conspiracy, there needs to be some arrests.
The stuff I see many have done would put me in prison for a long time. The time is now or it will be too late.
Is Pam Blondie’s team up to it?
Are they all confirmed?
We could use a deep dive on what legal heavyweights Blondie has brought in, or not.
The way the Democrats use Lawfare to bury people, I wouldn’t doubt most were scared off.
Couldn’t they hire TechnoFog and DOJ veteran and J6 attorney Bill Shipley / @ShipwreckedCrew?
SWC knows lots of competent attorneys.
The DC jury pool will acquit.
“So the person who supposedly added the journalist to the Signal group chat, Alex Wong, was an attorney for Covington & Burling, one of the law firms that Trump included in his EOs about government contracts and security clearances.
Interesting.”…..

Look at his resume -ha ha
John Radcliffe, clean up your Department! The Deep State is alive and well in the CIA! There needs to be mass firings! Same as the DOJ/FBI. This is why there needs to be arrests for past crimes because they will never stop until they get thrown in prison.
All the people testifying today need to stick together and not throw each other under the bus.
No exactly. He wasvsaying its up to Sec. Def. to detirmine what MILITARY info is TopSec.
Personally, I think instead of circling their wagons and stonewalling, they should have said ‘somehow, we F’d up, and a reporter who NEVER should have been on that SIGNAL call, was. We currently are investigsting, to find out HOW THAT HAPPENED, and insure it doesn’t happen, again.
Fortunately, no classified info was leaked, and no military personelle were put at risk, but we take this VERY seriously, and WILL get to the bottom of it.”
Like Reagan with Irangate, you take all the wind out of their sails, if you just own up.
A brand new admin, they made a mistake.
And, if it WAS a betrayal, or a cia op, fix it.
Time to declassify everything over a year old. Stop this silly nonsense now. What a disgrace.
I didn’t know that was any intelligence in the senate…🤔
So let me get this straight.
Something happens that possibly opens an opportunity for Congress, led by our own Party, to stick a knife in Trump and Congress acts with EXTREME SPEED. Hearings are immediate and its broadcast 24/7.
But judges are acting extra-judicial and obviously un-Constitutional and Congress, led by our own Party, is still wondering what to do.
The GOP. We don’t hate them enough.
Perfect time to release the Epstein files?
Anyone? Bondi? On your desk?

What a zoo. We The People deserve MUCH better than this dem screeching and histrionics.
The truly secret information was kept on secure air-gapped systems. They were merely having high level discussions. Some metadata leaked without much detail. Nothing serious was leaked by the chats. The Signal app will ask if you wish to invite your contacts to use Signal. A lower level staffer apparently had The Atlantic reporter in his contacts on his smartphone.
Hey, Senator Warner … Remember your blabbermouth assistant James Wolfe, leader extraordinaire??
Screw you.
Maybe it’s just me, but it seems to me that Kash Pitel looks terrified in every picture I see of him. Maybe he’s high-strung? Not judging really, because I have a tendency toward hyper-vigilance myself. Just an observation.
