Israel Update:
-The Houthis report 53 killed, 98 injured.
The Houthis being defiant, their leader said “Escalation will be answered by Escalation”.
They released films with animations of the US ships hit and American coffins all over the sea.
The US intercepted some 12 Houthi drones directed at the US ships. A Houthi missile fell close to a US Carrier.
The US is now hitting them again. Videos of some serious explosions in Yemen reminds me of what we did to Hezbollah in Beirut. US jets from many bases in the Middle East are on the attack plus submarine, Carriers, some of the Houthi Command got killed. I wouldn’t be surprised if the leader of the Houthis will be killed soon.
If you thought that attacking Israel for a year and a half from a 1000 miles away was insane and stupid what can you say about messing with the US?
I know that most Americans are more concerned with internal matters and for good reasons but from an Israeli point of view we see it as “America is back!” Some 140 Houthi attacks on US vessels and similar number on worlds’ ships and Biden was responding pathetically.
Israel is on high alert and issued a warning that “if attacked, we will join the US and attack them”.
I have to say some analysis words, The Iranians just lost Syria and most of Hezbollah, Hamas is badly damaged and now the Houthis are getting it. Iran is losing grounds and the equation in the Middle East is changing. This pressures them in regard to their nuclear program and their refusal to negotiate with Trump. I am sure they are looking now and are scared. While they are not logical in the Western sense, they have a key weakness and is their fear of their own people. An Iranian revolution is only a matter of “when?”
It’s their choice. Trump warned them. Today his Aide demanded Iran to dismantle their nuclear program. If you followed me for a long time I said many times. The fear of a World War 3 because of Iran is false! They couldn’t win against Iraq for years and the US wiped out Iraq’s military in a week. The Russians are exhausted and China is too far to care.
The only reason to worry about Iran is if they get nukes. Trump said that he won’t allow it.
-I just watched some videos of massive rocket fire from Syria at Lebanon. For hours. Really intense. And Lebanon fired back and so did Hezbollah. Again if you followed me for a while I explained that in the Arab mentality “revenge” is a high value. Hezbollah (Shias) murdered thousands of Sunni Syrians for years. Hezbollah helped Assad to massacre many towns and cities. I said that I won’t be surprised to see the Syrians invade Lebanon. I can’t tell who is going to win but Hezbollah is in trouble. And unlike the West we know that the Syrian Rebels are crazy Jihadis, I have seen ISIS flags and Al Qaeda, this is why the IDF took high positions is Syria. From an Israeli point of view we wish all the sides success.
Who knows? Maybe God is making miracles for Israel, Enemies strike other enemies, if Syria manages to take over portions of Lebanon we will be justified to take South Lebanon and secure our border. I said before that this was the original goal before Biden stopped the IDF.
And, the US is handling the Houthi enemy. God is great.
-Internal Reports that Hamas recruited many thousands and so did Islamic Jihad and when we resume the war we will meet 25,000 Hamas fighters and 5,000 Islamic Jihad.
I personally think that those are reports with agenda to force Israel to cut a final surrender deal with Hamas. You can’t train thousands of new recruits in the rabble and I doubt they have enough weapons for them. But I am sure that this exaggerated report does represent a valid problem.
-Israeli Deep State: Bibi said that he “lost trust in the Head of Shabak (Israel’s FBI). He said that he is getting the Government to vote and fire him. He (Shabak Head) is arrogant and defiant (Deep State).
The Israeli equivalent of your AG who is not representing the Ruling party like in the US said that “Bibi is not allowed to fire him without her examination”. She is Deep State. This is leading to a crisis. It’s unheard of. Because this Shabak Head initiated a bogus investigation into the Office of Bibi it is now a problem for Bibi to fire him. We will see how it goes.
Bibi also wanted to fire her (the AG) but the Liberal Supreme Court is likely to protect her.
Israel is not so democratic as it looks. The Judicial Branch is “The Elites”.

The whole 10/7 massacre happened after Bibi tried to reform the Judicial system and faced massive resistance and protests and threats that people will stop coming for Reserve duty, this made Hamas think that Israel is torn apart and it’s the best time to attack.

Thank you. First we don’t yet see the Syrian Sunnis in full force invading Lebanon. There were a few occasions but not a full invasion. I just said that it can happen and now there is an exchange of fire. For Israel it’s better that the Sunnis win in Lebanon because Hezbollah have on their banner a clear intent of destroying Israel. It’s their DNA. The Sunnis are not aiming at Israel as a first goal. They may change and feel a desire “to conquer Jerusalem”, but it’s not soon. Also they don’t have the Iranian advanced precision missiles and ballistic missiles and advanced drones etc…. They may be armed by Turkey but it’s not the present situation. Turkey is not providing them with advanced systems. It’s not hard for Israel to strike their Toyota trucks.
Hamas and Hezbollah are embedded in the population and are underground so it’s harder to fight than an invading force like Syrian Rebels. Lebanon does have Sunni population but they are more at the North and Israel is at the South of Lebanon. Israel demolished most of the border towns in Lebanon which were Shia Hezbollah fortresses. The villages some 20-30 of them are in ruins and will take years to recover. When the IDF entered it had a stated strategy of demolishing villages which let Hezbollah use their houses as munition storages and launching positions against Israel. Many of them had every second house used by Hezbollah. Shalom.
Long term the Sunnis could become a bigger problem because the Muslim world is about 80% Sunni.
But we are at war and we want to win it. Not worry about what could be in the far future. Now we deal with Hezbollah, Iran and Hamas (Hamas are Sunni by the way but adopted Iran anyways).

So great to see this, Aggie. Our sweet mule, Maude was so graceful and dignified. She cared so lovingly for our blind horse, Bailey, it brought tears.
She also stomped to death every rattlesnake that we encountered on the trail! So there was that side too!
Oh you brought back some memories of a blind mare I had and another mare took it upon herself to be her “guide dog” when they were put out to a small pasture for just them. The blind mare was in foal when she became blind, as was the other mare guiding her. We put a large bell on the blind mare’s foal so she knew where it was. The guide mare took care of both her and her foal. Tears flowing with the memories. Thank you.
We had to leave either Maude or our burro, Lordy in the paddock with Bailey or he panicked and ran straight into fences.
His buds would lead him (one in front and one behind) to his food and water – and then guard him while he ate. Brought me to tears on more than one occasion. 😢

Matthew 9:37 (KJV)
Jesus returns to Capernaum, and heals a paralytic. (1-8) Matthew called. (9) Matthew, or Levi’s feast. (10-13) Objections of John’s disciples. (14-17) Christ raises the daughter of Jairus, He heals the issue of blood. (18-26) He heals two blind men. (27-31) Christ casts out a dumb spirit. (32-34) He sends forth the apostles. (35-38)1-8 The faith of the friends of the paralytic in bringing him to Christ, was a strong faith; they firmly believed that Jesus Christ both could and would heal him. A strong faith regards no obstacles in pressing after Christ. It was a humble faith; they brought him to attend on Christ. It was an active faith. Sin may be pardoned, yet the sickness not be removed; the sickness may be removed, yet the sin not pardoned: but if we have the comfort of peace with God, with the comfort of recovery from sickness, this makes the healing a mercy indeed. This is no encouragement to sin. If thou bring thy sins to Jesus Christ, as thy malady and misery to be cured of, and delivered from, it is well; but to come with them, as thy darlings and delight, thinking still to retain them and receive him, is a gross mistake, a miserable delusion. The great intention of the blessed Jesus in the redemption he wrought, is to separate our hearts from sin. Our Lord Jesus has perfect knowledge of all that we say within ourselves. There is a great deal of evil in sinful thoughts, which is very offensive to the Lord Jesus. Christ designed to show that his great errand to the world was, to save his people from their sins. He turned from disputing with the scribes, and spake healing to the sick man. Not only he had no more need to be carried upon his bed, but he had strength to carry it. God must be glorified in all the power that is given to do good.
35-38 Jesus visited not only the great and wealthy cities, but the poor, obscure villages; and there he preached, there he healed. The souls of the meanest in the world are as precious to Christ, and should be so to us, as the souls of those who make the greatest figure. There were priests, Levites, and scribes, all over the land; but they were idol shepherds, #Zec 11:17|; therefore Christ had compassion on the people as sheep scattered, as men perishing for lack of knowledge. To this day vast multitudes are as sheep not having a shepherd, and we should have compassion and do all we can to help them. The multitudes desirous of spiritual instruction formed a plenteous harvest, needing many active labourers; but few deserved that character. Christ is the Lord of the harvest. Let us pray that many may be raised up and sent forth, who will labour in bringing souls to Christ. It is a sign that God is about to bestow some special mercy upon a people, when he stirs them up to pray for it. And commissions given to labourers in answer to prayer, are most likely to be successful.

WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

I can’t comprehend why someone – relative or caregiver, hadn’t checked on the Hackmans in all that time. Unfathomable.
In a former life, I dealt with mostly elderly patients. It was shocking to me how many incidences of a fall with a resulting hip fracture left them struggling for days sometimes to reach a phone for help. 😔
It really stuck with me, and I vowed to see or speak to my parents every day in their waning years. Peace of mind.
During the months of Doc’s Hospice I was often ‘praised’ for being a good caregiver. yet, I felt totally inadequate. One day I asked ‘what constitutes a poor caregiver?’ The reply (because they dealt with it on a daily basis), ‘they DON’T care.’
Your folks are lucky – your care is invaluable!

Same goes for Doc. But, I really didn’t even consider anything other – that is how my folks raised me. They have long since passed. Both of them went through hospice, my dad at our home, and I totally get the feeling of inadequacy you describe. It’s, I think, the knowledge that time is short and you are essentially helpless to alter the sure outcome.
On the other hand, I cherish the time I got to spend with them and wouldn’t have missed it for the world. ❤️ 🫂

Because Doc and I began our lives when we met, I never knew about the prior years. During those last months I got to know a man I never knew – if that makes any sense?
More than a problem with dementia, he had short term memory loss. 80 year old memories were more vivid than yesterday.
Now we get to carry those memories forward, don’t we …
Yes, we do. I slept on a couch next to dad’s hospital bed – he had been eaten up by cancer. He talked a good deal about some of his WWII experiences that he previously had not.
I just knew “that” morning was his last, and was able to hold his hand and assure him it was OK to go. A humbling, bittersweet experience.
I’m so glad Doc allowed you to see a different side to him – I imagine it brought you even closer to one another. 🫂

I took care of my parents for about 20 years. They had their own home, but it was a few houses down and then across from my home on our horse ranch. Dad passed, unfortunately in the hospital. I took care of Mom for almost six more years until I had to put her in assisted living. The assisted living place was a small, privately owned, very caring couple. I too sometimes felt I was inadequate at times. I have no regrets and also cherish the time I had with both of them.
