I drove through KY many times all directions, every time I do I wonder why they keep electing the same people that keep Ky poor. Do they really elect them or are they selected? That group has been their too long, so I agree with PDJT PRIMARY THEM ALL!!!
McConnell has created a RINO mafia in KY that resembles the still going strong McCain mafia in AZ. Deep rooted azzhatteryp
Virtually EVERY State has one, in the State Republican party, and yes they are generally named after the U.S. Senators, but they are a cliche, that sit at the top level of the State Republicon Party, and control outcomes.
Kasich in Ohio, actully the family of PDJT’s Sec of Ed, term 45 controls the Michigan R party,..McStain in Az. McConnell in Kentucky, Graham in SC, etc.
Controlled. We are getting close to the use of past tense when referencing control.
Slowly and steadily everything is shifting and control is shifting hands.
The Pro-American team is being run by the Pros. Slowly and steadily the Pros are taking over. Just look at Rep. Eli Crane in AZ. He’s one of many of the Pros taking over.
RINOs/GOPe runs Virginia.
Agreed! The KY state GOP leaders choose their candidate and only allow non-electable candidates to run against “The Chosen One”.
I live in Massie’s district and can truthfully say that he only represents himself. He never communicates with his constituents and does not seem to care about our concerns or opinions.
And, I wonder why the voters in South Carolina keep electing Ms Lindsey Graham, term after term after term…
As SD has proven time and time again, there has been quite the difference {perception management/fraud} between votes and ballots…
Like El Rushbo was fond of saying, time and time again, polls are made to shape public perception…
Not reflect it.
In God We Trust

Fear not
I think it is because they don’t want to elect the Democrat 😉
If the GOP put up a really strong candidate to primary Ms Graham and WIN the primary then I think there would be success.
His war chest is very large! No one can come up with the $$&$ to challenge him, plus name recognition. Only Haley comes close and who wants her!
Donna L Clark:
You want to follow in Liz Cheney’s footsteps and primary Thomas Massie?
Why are you so afraid to cut the budget?
I don’t get it?
You do know the Continuing Resolution fully funds USAID, and does NOT fund the border wall…right?
There is some process by which PT plans to impound the money set for fraud and abuse. Hang onto your hat.
What USAID? It is shuttered and Rubio is monitoring disbursements.
morning Treepers………………….be well
Morning bjorkdream
Beautiful, and so peaceful.
Thank you.
Have a great day.
Beautiful!
Looks just like the driveway to my family’s cottage in New Hampshire.
Wild blueberries on one side where all the siblings and cousins went out to pick them for Mom’s blueberry muffins.
It’s where I first learned to drive when I was 13 years old. And sometimes I even had permission. Got stuck a few times but that’s how we learned.
Sigh. To be wandering down that road right now would be wonderfully peaceful. I can smell the earth and the pines and other plants. Thanks for this one as usual, byork!
Good morning!

REVEALED: ActBlue Facilitates the Illegal Alien Invasion of America
A multi-billion-dollar network of far-left NGOs responsible for helping illegal aliens make it to the US and hotlines exposing ICE raids rely on this firm’s financial infrastructure.
The following organizations are all listed as current funding partners of ActBlue.
Many of these groups are actively opposing the Trump administration’s immigration agenda with lawsuits and protests and advocate for the abolition of all detention centers.
[big snip]
A RICO for Rico!
Unfortunately, she apparently doesn’t make the effort to dig for USAID grants which are probably all over the place.
Direct USAID grants to these “NGOs” would be vastly easier to find than the very likely money laundering NGO > “grandma on fixed income making a dozen donations per day to ActBlue totaling $250k over a year” ones.
BTW, is the “new and improved” DOJ investigating the latter thing? If not, why in the hell not? I see headlines about the Texas AG investigating since October.
Texas AG is who should be sitting where Bondi is
Read TGP article, intervewing Alina Habba, for a dose of much needed optimism.

X is apparently still under attack, and that’s why tweets aren’t showing up.
More than half my sites are incredibly slow to load this morning, too, on the Kindle, so I wonder if further mayhem is afoot.
Yep, it has gone from huge spikes of reports yesterday to a steady, lower, but still unusually high level this AM. Maybe as more people wake up we’ll see more reports:

Fox News this morning doing their best to blame Russia. Saying they are spoofing it to look like UKR
They’re NATO-riffic!
Fox says (and PDT repeated) that Pres. Putin was stopped from invading Kiev. PVP didn’t even want Donbas, but the CIA/NAZI Axis forced his hand.
Which makes zero sense!
What does Russia have to gain from an attack on Twitter / X.
While the Ukrainians on the other hand can be seen as obviously doing this to punch back at President Trump’s administration.
Crazy!
Hope that John Ratcliffe might direct his eye within into who helped the Ukr. do this.

I don’t think Massie is wrong, but I don’t think this is the hill to die on either.
We all have been supportive of shutdowns in the past, but understand that the Dems want it this time to kneecap DOGE in particular.
What is true is that CRs need to end, and Congress needs to get off their asses and do their jobs for once.
Mr. Massie is fully aware
Time for the SOH to strip Massie of ALL committee assignments and move his office into the basement broom closet.
FAFO
Winston, in the Continental, would declare him Ex-Communicado (sp?).
Massie didn’t ban bump stocks by redefining what a machine gun is. He also didn’t put Pam Bondi in as AG.
Massie committed a hypocritical, and politically fatal, error.
And PDJT called him on it.
He has voted FOR numerous past CRs.
While Massie may be technically correct, voting against Make America Great Again at this juncture is backstabbing to the movement. It is a short term fix to a long term problem.
Massie is searching for perfect when, right now, we need good.
For such a self proclaimed genius he sure cannot see the big picture.
Maybe he is the one who sees it.
He had no qualms voting for CR’s before .
Right, just him and all the others are stupid.
Greetings Treepers! 🙏✝️🙏

50 days and…
No Epstein files.
No JFK files.
No MLK, jr files.
No Huma Abedin laptop.
No Hunter Biden laptop.
50 days and counting…
Bondi says the JFK files are on her desk. President Trump gave an EO that they would be released, and yet those of us who ask that they be released are being mocked for thinking there are any files, or something.
President Trump has said he has seen the files. He has ordered them released.
Bondi’s desk is where files go to die.
Why isn’t President Trump angry that his orders are not being carried out?
Why is RFK Jr. okay with the files not being released?
The Weiner laptop is back with its owner.

Some of us had questions on this statement by Marco Rubio:
“After a 6 week review we are officially cancelling 83% of the programs at USAID.”
Here’s a response to that and also a take on the CR. It’s too bad that Mr. Stockman has to resort to vulgarity every time he mentions President Trump, it makes people not want to listen to him whether he he has a point or not:
Stop your habitual lying, Little Marco, you haven’t cut a dime of spending. You just cancelled a few crazy contracts, and then will spend the money on something only slightly less outrageous. And then you will say, the Impoundment Control Act of 1974 made me do it. Pathetic! So stop blowing smoke up the ample rear-end of the POTUS, and tell him the only way to eliminate the outrageous waste of foreign aid boondoggles is to veto the phony FY 2025 CR that Squeaker Johnson is trying to shove down the throats of the GOP delegation in the US House.

BREAKING: The stock market is reflecting two realities that are now in conflict leading to the sell off, according to financial advisers close to Team Trump and some savvy market analysts.
Cont reading…
He’s absolutely correct here.
Stock market had climbed to record highs. A big correction was inevitable.
Second, the moves by Trump to shut off unnecessary expenditures is roiling some bottom lines.
Many are still invested in America Last.
\There’s a new Stockbroker in town!
As Karl Denninger has pointed out, government grants to NGOs where the government (taxpayer) funds are no longer under the control of or even accounting by the taxpayer defines grifting.
So, government grants to NGOs by any level of government, fed, state, local, should be banned.
Good luck getting that passed…
Speaking of Denninger, he handed the administration this on a silver platter:
“via Bob Unruh: TRUMP TO AGENCIES: DEMAND BONDS from plaintiffs WHEN GOVERNMENT IS SUED..Activist groups must cover ‘potential costs and damages from a wrongly issued injunction’…For a long time federal law has allowed the government to ask courts to order plaintiffs who are suing the government to post bonds that would cover “potential costs and damages from a wrongly issued injunction.”..Seldom has that provision in the law been utilized.”
But it will be now, under orders from President Donald Trump, who explained in a new order Thursday,
< “In recent weeks, activist organizations fueled by hundreds of millions of dollars in donations and sometimes even government grants, have obtained sweeping injunctions far beyond the scope of relief contemplated by the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure, functionally inserting themselves into the executive policy making process and therefore undermining the democratic process.”>
https://abs-0.twimg.com/emoji/v2/svg/203c.svg Those cases include challenges to Trump’s decisions to fire executive branch employees, to cut off inappropriate funding and to eliminate fraudulent activities in the federal spending.
< “”This anti-democratic takeover is orchestrated by forum-shopping organizations that repeatedly bring meritless suits, used for fundraising and political grandstanding, without any repercussions when they fail.
Taxpayers are forced not only to cover the costs of their antics when funding and hiring decisions are enjoined, but must needlessly wait for government policies they voted for. Moreover, this situation results in the Department of Justice, the nation’s chief law enforcement agency, dedicating substantial resources to fighting frivolous suits instead of defending public safety,” Trump said. >
He said a key to fighting such abuse is “Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 65(c) (Rule 65(c)).””
https://x.com/Real_AnTheFacts/status/1897820797269405853
So, Ticker Guy explained the rule (indirectly) to our Justice Department, President Trump ordered that it be put into practice.
So why hasn’t this happened?
“Thus where is Pam Bondi with immediate emergency filings against all of the existing injunctions already issued demanding that security be posted up and computed in said public filing and, if there is any delay or refusal by the judges involved to do so taking an immediate emergency appeal as far as necessary including to the Supreme Court which, given the actual language in the Rules of Civil Procedure is a slam-dunk and immediate win? No, demanding this only on a forward basis for future filings is not enough — force the movants in all the existing injunctions to either post up security or dissolve the injunctions and TROs.”

In regard to egg prices.
It does not cost any more to produce eggs today than it did last week. Why has the price gone up so much?
Supply and demand.
You get prosecuted for raising the price of gas in a hurricane. What is the difference?
You obviously know nothing about cost accounting and how overhead costs are allocated over units of production. I produce one million units to cover one million dollars overhead or I produce one unit to cover one million dollars of overhead makes a big difference.
I guess your cost effects everybody else’s cost of doing business in your kind of business so if you lose some production then everybody has to charge more to cover your loss.

Another excellent analysis by Coffee & Covid of the federal judge’s response to the USSC’s remand regarding his TRO. Here is an excerpt:
“Judge Ali’s orders have shrunk faster than processed food package sizes. In other words, our patience was justified. The Supreme Court’s denial of Trump’s stay request last week was effective procedural sleight of hand, simultaneously preserving the Court’s independence while also undermining Judge Ali. In other words, they cleverly boxed Ali in without making him a media martyr. This current order was a rout; it wasn’t even close to what he was trying to get away with in his TRO.”

Copied from Truth Social: I added the paragraphs.
Based on Ontario, Canada, placing a 25% Tariff on “Electricity” coming into the United States, I have instructed my Secretary of Commerce to add an ADDITIONAL 25% Tariff, to 50%, on all STEEL and ALUMINUM COMING INTO THE UNITED STATES FROM CANADA, ONE OF THE HIGHEST TARIFFING NATIONS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. This will go into effect TOMORROW MORNING, March 12th.
Also, Canada must immediately drop their Anti-American Farmer Tariff of 250% to 390% on various U.S. dairy products, which has long been considered outrageous. I will shortly be declaring a National Emergency on Electricity within the threatened area. This will allow the U.S to quickly do what has to be done to alleviate this abusive threat from Canada.
If other egregious, long time Tariffs are not likewise dropped by Canada, I will substantially increase, on April 2nd, the Tariffs on Cars coming into the U.S. which will, essentially, permanently shut down the automobile manufacturing business in Canada. Those cars can easily be made in the USA!
Also, Canada pays very little for National Security, relying on the United States for military protection. We are subsidizing Canada to the tune of more than 200 Billion Dollars a year. WHY??? This cannot continue. The only thing that makes sense is for Canada to become our cherished Fifty First State. This would make all Tariffs, and everything else, totally disappear. Canadians taxes will be very substantially reduced, they will be more secure, militarily and otherwise, than ever before, there would no longer be a Northern Border problem, and the greatest and most powerful nation in the World will be bigger, better and stronger than ever — And Canada will be a big part of that.
The artificial line of separation drawn many years ago will finally disappear, and we will have the safest and most beautiful Nation anywhere in the World — And your brilliant anthem, “O Canada,” will continue to play, but now representing a GREAT and POWERFUL STATE within the greatest Nation that the World has ever seen!

Antony C. Sutton
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antony_C._Sutton
Excerpts:
Antony Cyril Sutton (February 14, 1925 – June 17, 2002) was a British-American writer, researcher, economist, and professor.
At the Hoover Institution, he wrote the study Western Technology and Soviet Economic Development (in three volumes), arguing that the West played a major role in developing the Soviet Union from its beginnings until the then-present year of 1970. Sutton argued that the Soviet Union’s technological and manufacturing base, which was then engaged in supplying North Vietnam during the Vietnam War, was built by United States corporations and largely funded by US taxpayers. Steel and iron plants, the GAZ automobile factory, a Ford subsidiary in eastern Russia, and many other Soviet industrial enterprises were built with the help or technical assistance of the United States government or US corporations. He argued further that the Soviet Union’s acquisition of MIRV technology was made possible by receiving (from US sources) machining equipment for the manufacture of precision ball bearings, necessary to mass-produce MIRV-enabled missiles.
In 1973, Sutton published a popularized, condensed version of the sections of the forthcoming third volume relevant to military technology called National Suicide: Military Aid to the Soviet Union, after which he was forced out of the Hoover Institution. His conclusion from his research on the issue was that the conflicts of the Cold War were “not fought to restrain communism” but were organised in order “to generate multibillion-dollar armaments contracts”, since the United States, through financing the Soviet Union “directly or indirectly, armed both sides in at least Korea and Vietnam.
Sutton’s next three published books (Wall Street and the Bolshevik Revolution, Wall Street and FDR and Wall Street and the Rise of Hitler) detailed Wall Street’s involvement in the Bolshevik Revolution to destroy Russia as an economic competitor and turn it into “a captive market and a technical colony to be exploited by a few high-powered American financiers and the corporations under their control” as well as its decisive contributions to the rise of Adolf Hitler and Franklin Delano Roosevelt, whose policies he assessed as being essentially the same “corporate socialism,” planned by the big corporations. Sutton concluded that it was all part of the economic power elites’ “long-range program of nurturing collectivism” and fostering “corporate socialism” in order to ensure “monopoly acquisition of wealth” because it “would fade away if it were exposed to the activity of a free market.”
I have often wondered, “Who is financing China?”
It is said they are building one power plant a week and soon it will be close to two a week. So who is financing all of that? Same for all of their Belt and Road projects around the globe. Who’s financing it all?

BAH!!!! Both hilariously topical, and, yet, BEYOND MADDENING at the same time…
Agreed!
This continues much longer…Pam will have proven herself just another DEI hire!
San Antonio spends over a million dollars a month on it’s illegal immigrant “welcoming center”.
The center is staffed exclusively by San Antonio police/fire department employees.
The city’s UNION employees have to be eligible for OVERTIME from their regular city jobs in order to work at the center.
The biggest winner of this invasion is the Marxist NGOs like Catholic social services.
(When you tithe the Catholic Church, you fund the invasion!)
Meanwhile, military city USA’s vets are sleeping on the streets with empty belly’s in the cold and rain while our well fed “replacements” sleep in warm beds.
The city even has a website that BOASTS about the number and origin of the invader’s San Antonio has illegally given aid and comfort at the expense of it’s own disenfranchised citizens welfare.
Here’s the link to the city website.

(The welcoming center is still OPEN, even though the number of “reported” invaders serviced is smaller than the number of staff required to operate the center.)

Place sanctions on the top 10 Ukrainian oligarchs, especially the ones with mansions in Monaco, and this will stop immediately.
@AdamLowisz
I agree, anyone engaging in corruption should be sanctioned. But also, you got to stop pretending that Putin isn’t the aggressor. Ukraine is the victim. Knock it off with the nonsense. You seem focused on only criticizing Ukraine but not Putin for some reason.
That is the key to the puzzle.

I literally challenged Putin to one on one physical combat over Ukraine and my Starlink system is the backbone of the Ukrainian army. Their entire front line would collapse if I turned it off.
What I am sickened by is years of slaughter in a stalemate that Ukraine will inevitably lose.
Anyone who really cares, really thinks and really understands wants the meat grinder to stop.
PEACE NOW!!

President Trump will increase the Snow Mexican’s tariffs beginning tomorrow due to the energy tariffs the Snow Mexicans imposed on the USA. Full steam ahead Mr. President!
If you can get past the gratuitous swipes at President Trump, this is a useful analysis of where Europe is now.
Trump has Europe in check
We have lost the art of strategy
I have yet to see any strategic purpose behind anything any of the Europeans, including Starmer, have done in the past two weeks. Everything they have done, including Friedrich Merz’s decision to exempt defence spending from Germany’s constitutional fiscal rules, has been as a result of Trump’s first move. They aren’t anticipating his second.
Trump, by contrast, is an intuitive, transactional strategist. He looked at Zelensky and concluded that the Ukrainian president was not ready for peace. Mette Frederiksen, the Danish prime minister, then doubled down on this by saying: “I understand that many people believe that a peaceful solution or a ceasefire is a good idea, but we risk that peace in Ukraine is actually more dangerous than the war that is ongoing now.”
Washington’s suspicions thus confirmed, the President promptly responded by withdrawing military aid from Ukraine, switching off the US satellites and halting intelligence sharing. The Europeans keep on expressing shock and dismay at every Trump move. But if you look at the situation purely from a strategic standpoint, his actions should hardly come as a surprise. He certainly knows what he wants to happen next.

He’s loosing me. Trump is a superb executive, but doesn’t know anything about governing. Attacking Thomas Massie is my line in the sand. Trump. Is losing “it”. I will always remember how he outlawed bump stocks by redefining a machine gun. Then Pam Bondi…
He should be working with Massie
Maybe Massie should “work” with President Trump instead of against him.
Massie is a total fraud. He either gets in line with the guy that won a MANDATE, or he gets tossed aside.
Its that ‘democracy’ thingy…
Never seen you here before…
And Massie never works with President Trump on anything so why should President Trump work with him?
By the way, President Trump represents the whole of America whereas Massie represents a few people in Kentucky.
Your slip is showing.
I have noticed your concern posting on other threads.
I am sure others have as well.
This isn’t Politico.
Massie was custom made for concern trolling.
wonder if his wife’s death has anything to do with this? We never did hear what she died of or from.
20 million fakes in the social security data base discovered by DOGE, and no one seems to have applied that number to Biden’s 2020 vote tally, or the thousands of data discs Obama demanded from the IRS, and gave to the DNC. Interesting!
This is vintage Trump! I took heat for this a couple days ago by saying that I thought Canada’s unfair tariff treatment was a much more compelling argument than the opioid crisis. The reason I say this is because it’s easy to understand, and it’s easy to see any concessions that Canada makes. They either reduce the tariffs or they don’t. I’m glad he’s putting the screws to them.
