You have to admit if you look at his bio and history, he has been in the thick of American and world politics for decades. He does have a point that he’s been hands on with a lot of it and knows many of the players quite well. Whether you like his analysis and opinions is your choice of course and he may well be wrong on many things, but he definitely comes from a place of first hand experience and knowledge.
He has been involved for a long time – but that has zero bearing on the degree of his truthfulness or the validity of his opinions. Often the best propaganda is 50% truth, 50% BS – as people are more willing to swallow the BS with the sugar coating of truth.

I’m thinking it would be better for there to be penalties directly imposed on judges of the lower courts that have their decisions overturned. And those judges should have to reimburse the litigants that were wrongfully decided against.

Congress has the power to move federal judges to different court locations, districts and circuits. Might be easier to “mix it up”.
So, e.g. if there’s an opening for a judge in Mississippi or Iowa, order a sitting judge in DC or Massachusetts to move there. Could be done via one bill with a compiled list. Then replace judge in the other district.

The law already exists. And this may help SOME, such as where there is a clear sum of money ordered to be paid. Government maybe can say that it will put the money in escrow essentially funding the injunction for plaintiffs.
For other things, however, the judge sets the amount. So, e.g., in one case, judge ordered $10,000. A joke of an amount.

Put another way, 374 out of 432 federalized airports have fewer than 200 TSA Officers to perform screening functions, while the rest are paid by the government but work “full-time on union matters” and do not retain certification to perform screening.
What’s more, DHS cited a recent TSA employee survey which found that over 60% of “poor performers” are allowed to stay employed and “not surprisingly, continue to not perform.”

The DOJ under Pam Bondi can designate the US Solicitor General to petition the Supreme Court (SCOTUS) for certiorari — to expedite the resolution of this constitutional issue as to whether Mr. Trump, as chief executive, and his bona fide appointees, can carry out executive functions. The arguments against that appear to be weak.
It is the President’s duty to see that the laws are faithfully executed, meaning that the departments under him do their jobs correctly, which would give him inherent authority to audit and restructure agencies like USAID. Both judges Nichols and Engelmayer are arrogating executive and legislative functions on policy-making to themselves, triggering a separation-of-powers dispute that the SCOTUS must adjudicate promptly.
What matters most in these cases is that SCOTUS has an opportunity to put up new guardrails against the hijacking of the federal courts for the purpose of lawfare — that is, for political dirty-fighting under color-of-law. The law is slow-moving, arcane, and incomprehensible to most non-lawyer citizens and that is why the Party of Chaos has misused it so liberally.

In a 5-4 vote, The US Supreme Court refused to bolster President Donald Trump’s foreign-aid freeze, reinstating a lower court order that requires the quick disbursement of as much as $2 billion owed to contractors for already completed work.
Over four dissents, the justices rejected Trump’s request to toss out the trial court order, which affects money owed by the US Agency for International Development and State Department.
The dissent by Justices Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, and Kavanaugh was extremely strongly worded:
“Does a single district-court judge who likely lacks jurisdiction have the unchecked power to compel the Government of the United States to pay out (and probably lose forever) 2 billion taxpayer dollars?
The answer to that question should be an emphatic “No,” but a majority of this Court apparently thinks otherwise.
I am stunned.”
