I will simply repeat that I hope everyone continues watching Pam Bondi’s unfolding mess in great detail. It’s going to get a lot worse as the issues get more serious.
Attorney General Pam Bondi delivered a failing performance today with a ridiculous theatrical “Epstein Binders” exhibition delivered to White House assembled “influencers.” [They look like idiots]
A group of highly followed people from social media, were apparently recruited by someone in/around the orbit of Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt to visit the White House. I’m told the undiscussed agenda was to introduce the influencers to JD Vance, as part of the preliminary operation for Vance ’28 [Similar to Pushaw and DeSantis in ’22].
Attorney General Pam Bondi, always looking for the best performance for public imagery, took the opportunity of their visit to give the influencers an exclusive insider series of “Epstein Files” custom printed in a binder for them. However, the Epstein files delivered are nothing more than simple documents already in the public [Online pdf].
After talking for the past several days about her intention to reveal explosive Epstein files, Bondi way overpromised and severely underdelivered. Then again, when it’s a performance, that tends to happen. But wait, it gets worse….
AG Bondi then generated a letter for public consumption, blaming the FBI New York Field Office for hiding and withholding Epstein materials. Apparently, the Attorney General was unaware that Gislaine Maxwell was prosecuted in New York and all the Epstein evidence was co-located with the trial venue as some of the post-conviction legal arguments and appeals are taking place.
You really cannot make this stuff up…
AG Bondi has egg on her face, and instead of taking a breath – thinking carefully about the stupidity of her own actions and claims in the past week, she immediately starts blaming the FBI in New York for holding evidence of the Epstein case that took place in New York.
Again, Bondi is not a serious person, and Bondi is certainly not an intellectual legal powerhouse. Pam Bondi is the Sean Hannity of U.S. Attorney Generals.
Back to the White House…..
Prior to receiving their binders of nonsense, the Social Media influencers (another group of not exactly bright legal or scholarly minds) assembled for discussion and consultation. If the pictures remind you of the Pushaw operation in Florida on behalf of Ron DeSantis, there’s likely a reason for that.
We shall probably hear more from all of these names as the JD Vance operation moves forward toward 2028.

One of the sources I spoke to called the entire incident a “clusterfuck,” with many of them resenting the fact that social media influencers are getting the blame for not releasing more information when they were asked not to, but only after the assembled media had taken pictures and video of them. And when people actually read the material, they realized she was an idiot to think this was breaking news.
Then she sent a letter to the FBI and made it public. That letter only proves her self-serving incompetence. It shows that she didn’t do any research, other than *asking for information* and certainly shows a lack of knowledge of the ongoing cases with which she should have made herself familiar – reading and work, not going on Fox News, not hanging out with “influencers”.
She should be fired over this. She should be fired for giving anything to “influencers” instead of directly to the American people AFTER sufficient research. But she brought it all on herself.

Perhaps the Epstein files saga is another instance of the entrenched bureaucracy trying to undermine the political leadership of an important federal agency, the Department of Justice. Maybe, maybe not.

Is there any chance that Trump already has copies of these files from his last term? I remember he wanted them all declassified and published for all to see. If so, maybe that is what the FBI was searching for at the Mar-a-Lago raid and is now setting up the NYSD.

President Trump has a long history as business man and incredible deal maker.
look up the word paradigm and you will find “Trump is enigmatic and experts the most unexpected results”.

I was in the city when Trump was “at his peak”. (this is not to suggest he isn’t capable of incredible results or to insinuate his time has passed, but to simply express what I observed at the time- he simply could not lose).
but even this observation in the simple, does not really describe all the details that happened for that enigmatic, incredibly successful and driven man.
a. he hired talented people who seemed well outside the “regular order”..his sense of skill and ambition of his charges is extraordinary.
b. the vast majority of his charges, were home run hitters, but ONLY in a single season…a player for a specific game, and then removed or benched. (President Trump only has a hand full of actual people who have served his agenda of success long term. If I had to name one, it would be Rudy G. Rudy is the longest “friend” of President Trump, and not because he was loyal…but because he was a performer and got things done. This is what President Trump recognizes in his charges. You are either hitting home runs, or you get benched, fired.
c. President Trump is equally enigmatic in a sort of contradition that only a few highly successful people actually possess as a natural skill: he will allow people to fail and still keep them. Again this isn’t a loyalty factor, it’s about image and prestige. Some people simply cannot be successful UNLESS THEY ARE ALLOWED TO FAIL. This is perhaps the most misunderstood character of President Trump. It’s not about being “friendly”, or “kind”. He expects big results to also couple with the chance of equally great failures. He has retained many people who have flopped, even some who had acted like children and refused to change. It’s part of his leadership genius to not only find talent but that special something: that through trial and failure, a persons’ ability to rebound, transform and change.
I noticed this about President Trump during the years 1988 – 1995. I read people. It’s what I do. Not magic, just evaluating special skills.
As far as Bondi..I expect President Trump to treat this just exactly as he has in the past: Allow failure, counsel, and develop a plan that sets the bar very high.
and if she cannot achieve this high bar in a short period of time, he will fire her.
this is what I have seen with my own eyes and I have no reason to believe that President Trump would ignore what has made him successful.

Right now Emil Bove is Acting Deputy AG. Todd Blanche is nominated for Deputy AG, and his nomination is before the Senate. It appears Blanche will be confirmed, because he is well-qualified and liked. But.
Could this Bondi brouhaha spin into a rumpus that could derail Todd Blanche’s confirmation? Yes, it could, because it would give some Senators justification to withdraw their support. Potentially, the President could lose control of Justice. Some on the Epstein list would like that outcome, just as in the first term.
To support President Trump, we ought to avoid casting aspersions at his team. Nor should we offer a thin veneer of support, while standing ready to pounce at signs of weakness among the team players. Let’s have the grace to allow our President to choose his team and avoid second-guessing his choices.
