The charges and arrest were ordered by the Palm Beach State Attorney, a major Democrat and New York transplant, based on a Palm Beach PD and County Sheriff’s investigation. The Palm Beach State Attorney told Acosta that that Epstein would plead guilty to the state felony case in return for dropping the federal charges which piggybaced the state case. Acosta agreed, Epstein plead guilty and the State Court judge, another transplant from New York, laughed and let him off with probation. Nobody in the news media ever mentions the state prosecutor or the judge.

Today, Attorney General Pamela Bondi, in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), declassified and publicly released files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and his sexual exploitation of over 250 underage girls at his homes in New York and Florida, among other locations.
The first phase of declassified files largely contains documents that have been previously leaked but never released in a formal capacity by the U.S. Government.

I saw these documents several years ago, I see I downloaded the file in 2019.
I had an inkling but didn’t want to write anything.
I can’t believe that they thought they could get away with this, or that they are so stupid to fall for this.

I’d be more concerned about Carney’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
Marc Carney reminds me of Michael Ignatieff , who was working at Harvard, and then won the Liberal Party leadership race several years ago. The Canadian media dubbed him the Renaissance man and worked overtime extolling his virtues. Lucky for Canadians, Ignatieff royally flamed out to Conservative Stephen Harper, and all because Ignatieff was viewed as being more American than the Canadian he was.
If Freeland is the last man standing in the Liberal leadership race, then that will be a good thing, because Conservative Pierre Polievre will trounce her in the federal election.
As Freeland was finance minister and deputy Prime Minister, she wears much of the blame for the mess that Canada currently is in. Polievre will not lack for evidence of her incompetence, stupidity and mismanagement to use in an election campaign against her.

Examples of insubordination in DoD in recent days (from friends)
– DoD employees were given specific direction NOT to reply to Elon’s “5 things you got done” email. This came up in the presser / cabinet meeting yesterday. I can confirm from govt civilian friends in DoD that they were told not to answer.
– There is retaliation going on against people who accepted the “Fork in the Road” early resignation offer. Resignations are being refused by some senior govt civilians, forcing people to quit without being eligible for the buyout. This is specific to United States Space Command. I’m told that one employee sent her “exit” survey to most of the Command to call out the retaliation. In another case, they subjected an employee to a “recall” forcing her to return to work. (Young kid, single mom, veteran, can’t afford to fight a tyrannical government.)
Pete Hegseth needs to drop the hammer on his workforce. While there are good people in DoD, there are a large number of VERY BAD people in DoD. They are frequently corrupt, and they know how to use the bureaucracy to avoid accountability.
The best answer is to cut, cut, cut, and stop giving these entrenched bureaucrats “outs” to avoid carrying out the Commander in Chief’s orders. The worst offenders? General officers down through GS-14 and NH4 ranks.
