Wouldn’t it be nice if someone (more talented than I) assembled a compendium of the many kindnesses that our President has bestowed over his lifetime on others: not only the well known, but everyday folk as well. The enemedia is loathe to provide that information.
Can you just imagine the folk hero status they would bestow on Biden had he ever helped anyone other than a member of his crime family?
You know there IS such a person, Lady, Who is counting all the actions of each one of us. Our Lord and Savior! Scripture reveals that He Is privy to each and every movement. As the external actions are completely laudable what truly matters is the condition of heart on the inside – the motive, the intention.
We must be careful to temper our worship of earthly things and people for there is not one of us without sin… that if our sin were revealed we would be viewed as cheap rags and filth… without the full context of the fullness of our life. We’ve all done awful things, but I PRAISE GOD for JESUS and His Willingness to hang on the cross for us, so that we would not endure the penalty He Paid on our behalf.
Donald Trump is a good, good man. One of the best above all men and his greatness has been refined by the fire he’s walked through. His stamina and endurance are rooted on God’s Providence in his life.
To God be The Glory and thank God for giving us such a fine example of courage in our President.

He had hoped to be ready for a return to work, but that is not in the foreseeable future. The good news is that he has a most amazing optimistic attitude…….and is available fulltime as his MIL’s caretaker. She has very advanced Alzheimers. His love for her and patience is truly inspiring. I so admire him.
Lloyd is struggling pretty mightily with his back issues, and is scheduled for another epidural. It’s frustrating for someone who is accustomed to “doing”, but, we will persevere 🙏

If something happens adversely with your sons current job, maybe this is a Spiritual calling for him to move into memory care and work for those whose memories are fleeting? Lord Knows the world really needs such ones of patience and compassion.
Tell Lloyd I’m sorry he feeling so bad. Chronic pain is awful. He’s making him spend more quality down time with his bride and hopefully raising others to help you all in his stead. I’m not good with this myself. Terribly hard if not darn near impossible for me to ever ask for help, either. But I’m not island… nor invincible.
My illness right now is pushing kiddo in my pleadings for her to learn to drive. She simply MUST mature and force herself to learn and get after it. I can’t serve her forever.

I’ve been advising him to switch careers to memory care patients – particularly homebound. He’s a natural. When he was a teenager, he volunteered at a local nursing home after work and loved it. Not much dollar wise, but he is a very spiritual guy. I almost wrote young man, but have to remind myself that he is 54! How can that be?! 🙃
I’ll pray in unity with you on it and look forward to hearing his future pursuits and complete healing and joy!

Played them on a very high end turntable and tone-arm setup along with Klipsch speakers. My favorite LP is Segovia’s “On Stage” (now on CD). Just splendid playing.

My teacher was an older Gentleman (capital G on purpose) who would play Segovia for me at the end of the lesson. He would allow me, on occasion, to use his guitar which he had named. I am wracking my pea brain to remember her name and will report back if some distant synapse in my brain comes to life!

Almost all of my monthly bills and payments are done online.
I don’t know anyone who receives a Social Security or pension check in the mail.
The post office doesn’t need to deliver my mail 6 days per week.

Careful what you wish for, Andrew – there’s a major service interruption with the Indianapolis Distribution Center for the USPS and none of us are getting the mail we’re supposed to. Someone sends a Christmas card to one town over and it’s been over 6 weeks? It’s not bill payments – it’s medication deliveries and every over little thing that moves this economy along.
There a SEVERAL packages just languishing and lost in the Distribution Center and truck deliveries wrapping around the block delayed for several hours trying to be offloaded, sorted, and pushed through to destinations.
Sometimes people don’t get their way… so they just SIT DOWN… or SIT OUT… and they hit back at the object of their disdain in disorderly and passive aggressive fashion.
This is the same at the Memphis Distribution Center. My Christmas package from my California daughter took a month to finally arrive. It spent 3 weeks bouncing around Memphis with a side trip down to Jackson.
They’ve lost our medication multiple times. One rx finally showed up a month after VA mailed it. Of course VA sent an emergency rx via UPS. So, VA pays USPS as it’s prescription delivery service. If something gets lost then VA pays additional fees to UPS to deliver emergency rx replacement.
We definitely need DOGE on the scene!

Praying hard, but we Christians know and understand the way of chaos is the plan of evil. They’re gonna throw everything at us and this is, yet another, way of disruption.
We have to be steady watchmen and prepare. Pray and trust God for the results.
So grateful for your medication being reshipped and I pray the initial shipment arrives too and for you to be able to keep a supply on hand to tend to any possible future delays.
I always order early so if it doesn’t arrive I call the pharmacy and they send out the emergency pkg that arrives the next day.
I thank the Lord for the craziness of the post office. It’s all gonna work out there and at VA too.

I want to thank you so much for the spare ribs cooking video yesterday. We are obviously sick and oxygen deprived because kiddo and I made that video into a whole THING and we howled with laughter. Still watched the video though and will likely try some of the tips within it the next time I’m up to making ribs. Looked delicious, but the journey getting there became quite funny. We were laughing until tears came down and then there was the hacking and coughing.

I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.

Well. Friday night I worked quite late. We are working on the road and I had to make the 3.5 hour drive home. I wanted to head up to the farm to feed cows last night but I got home and just felt weary. So the wife and I were up at 5:00 and made the 4 hour drive up to the farm this morning.
I had to get the tractor started. My dear girls always know when the tractor is getting ready to be fired up and come over to watch.
The tractor actually started. I’m glad I put tire chains on. Had to paw through 2’ or more of snow just to get out to our hay bales. I’ve got bales on the barn that I can just push out if there is too much snow or mud. Today we made it with the tractor.
Beautiful drive in this morning. This is the view from Huntsville on the way up!
Warms up slightly and then another cold snap coming. Snow like crazy! 🥶. We have some areas that are up to 4’ of snow. All part of a Canadian winter. We just keep pushing along.

Even though we have only had about 40+ inches of snow this season in my part of New England, a very modest amount, the snow has been solidly on the ground and it has certainly felt like a proper winter.
