I doubt this will hold true. A president should not be locked out of treasure systems. The judge is most likely corrupt and should be ignored.

In his first term in office President Trump did everything by the books. He also took the counsel of the people around him, people he believed to be who they said they were.

Although I’m sure President Trump knew the dirty people around him all along, when he was not backed by “friends” who screwed him over, I believe he used the four years away from the White House to study our nation’s history and laws even more than he already had.
Immediately upon being sworn in as President a second time President Trump went to work doing what he knew he could do, whether the swamp approved or not. And I believe that is what he will continue to do — use the authority of the office of President and not a corrupt legal system — to get our nation back on course.
No, to fight in the courts is to pretend the court has jurisdiction over the head of the treasury, the President.

The department of treasury is in the executive branch. Imagine a judge that thinks that the president cannot bring a group of computer experts into the treasury in order to look at the books.

I agree. Keep it simple. The judge has no standing to interfere in the legitimate functions of the President to ensure the laws are faithfully executed.
Simply inform the judge that the Executive is a coequal branch of government. This is a law enforcement and internal HR matter, and the judge has no authority to interfere.

The SCROTUS has ruled on POTUS plenary powers. How then can lower courts impinge that power? We, the people, deserve a justice system that works, and we’re not getting it. SCROTUS should demand that case be adjudicated immediately and then brought immediately to SCROTUS if required. Or maybe DOJ should demand immediate review. Disband those DC courts!!

That judge in this case was one of the ruthless judges in the jsixers and pro-life protester’s cases. She gave them sentences that far exceeded the norm, she was slapped down by the Supreme Court for sentencing on obstruction of Congressional hearings, and in my mind committed numerous violations of constitutional rights.
She is one of the judges that MUST be investigated removed from the bench and disbarred.

From what I understand, there have been problems in the Coast Guard for decades. Woke is like cancer as it flourishes in an already ill body.
I had a co-worker once who was discussing with others how he basically bribed a friend of his in the Coast Guard to walk his application for some kind of captain’s license, because there was such a backlog.
This seemed to be common knowledge among boating enthusiasts. They also thought that the license he finally received was much too broad for someone with his level of experience.
I have never verified any of this or done any more research, but if there were problems back then (late 90s I think) I doubt it has gotten any better since.
My dad’s Coast Guard license if for “any unlicensed rating in the engine department”…that’s pretty specific/s?

There’s a new strain of avian flu in cattle. I’m actually glad Trump hasn’t said anything and is letting the USDA do all the work. It’s keeping it out of the news cycle and therefore our of people’s minds to panic and want to lock down again.
If it eventually does start spreading among humans I hope he won’t let the vaxx discrimination rear it’s ugly head. Judging by how it’s been going with companies getting sued and losing over forcing unvaxxed employees, you’d hope this time around people will just have to accept risk. So far the vast majority of humans infected have had mild reactions. Once again, it’s the elderly and immunocompromised who are most at risk.

THEN, he teamed up with Teddy Kennedy to push through Medicare Part D, which was a giant payoff to Big Pharma and is now embedded into the “benefits” received by Medicare/Medicaid patients as a RIGHT!
But I still thought that he was just naïve and trying to get along after a contentious election…until he created the “Office of Faith Based Initiatives”. I KNEW then that we had been lied to and that everything was going to change! There were a handful of churches and charities that tried to sound the warning about letting the government come into the sphere of religious organizations, but most just saw dollar signs and happily signed on to the program! And now, twenty five years later, we are living with the poisoned fruit of the tree that “Shrub” planted!!

Teachers were telling me how discouraging the constant testing was to the struggling kids. The teachers could not work to helping the individual child reach his or her best, they had to be concerned with the national average.

The No Child Left Behind was probably the only thing that Bush did that was good for education. Prior to this act, there was the disastrous Whole Language movement which caused a great deal of reading problems for millions of students. The NCLB brought back the importance of incorporating phonics into reading programs which the left hated. So there was a compromise in the field of education which was called Balanced Literacy which was a mixed bag and also very problematic for learning to read. Today, Johnny Still Can’t Read as evidenced by the recent release of our Nation’s Report Card.

Taking phonics out, even for a short time, was an early childhood educational disaster. Reading scores were plummeting and many kids could barely read, let alone spell correctly. In my career in education it was a very observable detriment to the entire learning process when they forced ‘whole language’ learning or the ‘look see’ method of teaching reading on all the children in public schools. If you cannot read properly, with comprehension, it affects every other lane of learning too.
Thankfully, the Catholic school our family went to still taught phonics through it all. We were lucky to have these schools around here then, who didn’t waver from the solid basics that had been in place for decades. Oh and they taught cursive too and still do.

and by Patel not granting the committee members access to his testimony, by law, they cannot leak what they already have or face legal backlash.
