Indians are OBSESSED with h-1b visas. Remember, there are over a BILLION Indians. And most of them want to leave to come to the USA.
I have been in the computer software/IT field for many years Indian h1-b’s are generally good but in no way far superior engineers/programmers than Americans. It’s mostly a cheap labor visa scam, used for immigration of the h1-b’ers family to get to the USA.
H1B physicians are beholden to the dictates of Big Pharma and the blob . They graduate from MBBS programs which are far less stringent than American Medical Schools.
American Medical Schools have no advantages, since they all support the Medical Industry being run by the Federal Government. They have not been turning out many quality MDs for at least 10 years, the results of which are apparent to anyone who is forced to interface with the current healthcare mess. This does not say that H1B physicians are even that good, because they currently have no conception of the Medical profession as it was before the hideous Government takeover of medicine in the USA. As long as we have Obamacare, our own progeny will never know what professional medical services were like before 2010. The last thing we need is H1B visas for foreigners. Let them educate their own people.
PS – As things stand, it really sucks to be getting old with our hospitals full of vacuous care givers from every Country on earth.

My company used a stable of Indian programmers in Hyderabad (along with MANY H1-Bs on-site in our building, and I echo your conclusion about superiority. And in fact, in one critical way they were far inferior. Let me illustrate:
We had weekly phone calls with the staff in Hyderabad, where us Americans would call in from a large conference room. When Hyderabad Programmer X would speak, finally ending his sing-songy report in what was presumably a question, someone would press mute, then look hopefully around the table and ask, “Did anybody understand what he said?” A bunch of blank stares and shaking heads was all he got. This got to be a long-standing joke.

I don’t know if he will or won’t, but, if President Trump endorses him, I think MAGA people should vote for him. If President Trump does or doesn’t endorse him, that should show everyone what President Trump wants.
What a stupid take. Trump is great. One of our best presidents ever.
But he is NOT infallible and has made tons of personnel missteps, which comes with making this many personnel decisions.
How many chiefs of staff did he have? How many generals captivated his attention with their rank? How many snake oil sales men wormed their way into his first term?
The answer is way too many.
Again, Trumps first term was about as good as it could have been, and certainly far better than any other R candidate from 2016.
But he doesn’t always throw people out when they show they are deserving. Sometimes, he thinks they still have uses. Sometimes, the trash takes itself out (like here). Sometimes, he is wrong on them.
All that to say, Trump is right most of the time, but use your own brain and don’t be the MAGA version of the left wing NPCs.
Take a good, objective look at the “downstream races” and Our President Trumps endorsements, and how the candidstes faired.
97% of his endorsed candidates were the R candidates that the “State R party leaders” told him “had the best shot” and to endorse.
Those candidates were the RINO candidates, that had the State parties support, the RNC’s support and in the case of Congress, the RNCCC’s support.
And, they got that support because they did NOT campaign on saying 2020 was stolen, and against mandates; au contraire they were mute on the subjects.
The 3% PDJT endorsed, who never the less lossed (Kari Lake and her whole Slate of Candidates, a similar slate in Nevada, Majewski, Tshibaka, Mastrianno, DePerno, Walker, etc. were all candidates that ran on a true MAGA agenda, including election integrity, no mandates, parental rights, etc.
They did NOT have the support of their State Party leadership, the RNC or the RNCCC.
This sent PDJT a clear message; if the candidate does not have the State parties support, they will LOSE.
Hence, what we need are candidates that are MAGA, but campaign as RINOS,…unfortunately.
OR, we remove and replacr the RINOS that control the party, and who sit at the top of every States Republican party, which is what I have been calling for for years.
Its the only way to make MAGA a self-sustaining movement, and Our President Trump csn not do it, anymore than King Knute could command the tide to come in.

People need to read the tea leaves. Palmer Luckey and his company are building a big plant in Ohio that will be up in running in some time. Palmer is a BIG Trump guy. Wouldn’t it be good to have a “fellow traveler” to be running the state? I’ve never consider Vivek to be in under the establishment’s wing. And, lest we forget, Vivek was the one that let Trump know about the issues with CBDCs.
There are some issues I have with him. He is too close to the Club for Growth for my liking. But nobody ever criticizes him for that. And his past positions on TPP is an issue for me. It’s all these other distractions that catch people’s attention. (And I just want to remind people that Trump has the same perspective on H1B that Elon and Vivek have, which is problematic.)

This is exactly what my initial reaction was to Mr. Ramaswamy after hearing him speak several times, either from prepared speeches or in impromptu addresses, interviews, and pressers.
I repeatedly described Vivek as seeming “too well-rehearsed”; “too smooth”; and, yes, “too slick”. Others simply thought him to be exceedingly intelligent and articulate, thus explaining his unusually smooth verbal performances. All that may be true but his mask has been somewhat removed revealing his less-than-magnanimous character towards everyday Americans. And those Americans noticed and didn’t like what they heard.
President Trump also must have noticed and privately decided that VR needs some more time to re-think his regard for MAGA until it is really MAGA, not MSOAGA (Make Some Of America Great Again).
I hope Ohioans also understand the two faces of Vivek when he tries to sell himself to them as a prospective governor.

I’ve lived in Ohio long enough to know we only elect backstabbing RINOs as governors. DeWine, Kasich, Taft. Whatever you think of Vivek, he’d be a huge improvement. Husted is the next Rino in line and even though he was appointed senator, he plans to run for governor. We will be voting for both in 2026 so it will be interesting to see how it all shakes out as our bench is NOT deep here except for some of our Congress people and none of them want to give up that sweet gig to advance on the ladder.

Gee, I neglected to mention our former Rino senator Rob Portman as well as George Voinovich who was decent as governor but totally RINO in the Senate. The Chamber of Commerce has a big hold on Ohio Republicans. I noticed that in 2021 when I attended open hearing for bills that would prevent vaccine mandates. The ones that I liked were portrayed as loons and anti vax dim wits. People like Jim Jordan and Warren Davidson get elected to the house and never leave. It’s a fluke that JD won his Senate seat. It was 100% the Trump endorsement. If not for Trump. Tim Ryan likely would have won. Seriously.
My take, nothing deep about it. Vivek said we needed all the H1B visas because American workers are lazy and stupid. How does that align with MAGA and American-first? That is why he is out.
I’m sure there are governors needed for Indian states. Since the governors are appointed by the President, it should be a cake walk. That would give him the opportunity to rear his children where the work ethic and culture are far superior. Don’t let the door hitcha….
