God morn, Garrison, on this the final day of four years of darkness. Appropriately, it seems tonight the breath of God is blowing away the last vestiges of the manifest evil which has eaten through every part of our nation. Making way I pray for new and warmer dawns for us all, full of mercies and blessings and a renewed sense of His presence so that we may rejoice and praise Him for delivering us through to the other side.
As Ben Franklin said long ago, if we don’t like this country with God in it, imagine what it would be without Him.
I think it is safe to say that tragically, we wonder no more. And that we have been chastened and given a reprieve through His grace to right ourselves in His sight. That is my prayer and I’m certain the prayer of millions lookong forward to brighter days ahead. May we, with humility and thanksgiving, ask for His blessings and protection for President Trump as he begins the onerous job of raking through the ashes left by those who deny You, and with His help begins to do what he does best…rebuilding our country with God once again placed as its cornerstone.

Well……there’s bad news and there’s good news regarding Caroline and Brian…
They were packed and seconds from leaving for UT Southwestern for his liver transplant when they received a call which informed them that his donor had “expired” (their word) at a time which precluded this life saving operation. As she said, “So we start again at square one.”
I had few words of comfort for her and for him, except to say that there was a reason, though we can’t know what it is, and that they must cling to that for the moment.
And that brings me to the good news, which is that our loving Father has not said “No”, but rather ” Not now”.
I firmly and immovably believe this with all my heart. It is what my faith tells me is true. And so while this is a crushing setback, we all hold on to our mustard seeds, knowing God’s lovingkindness abides with them.
They are searching for a living donor. Caroline has moved heaven and earth in marshalling this effort through her Facebook connections with the unbelievable number of friends she has made over the years. To know her is to love her, as her devoted friends whose backs she has had during their trials and tribulations have spread the word on her and Brian’s behalf and now have theirs.
I want to thank all my much loved friends who offered their beautiful prayers for what we thought was an answer to ours last night. I read them to Caroline so she would know that your hearts are big and beautiful and so precious to me. God bless you all that you would take the time to offer them. If there were ever any proof that Almighty God knows what we need before we ourselves know and will provide at a time of His choosing, all of you are His wonderful examples of the love which Christ has for us. I cannot thank you enough 💕

Betsy, prayers are on the way…I have seen this happen so the “not now” may be a blessing in disguise. I have ‘seen’ donor organs rejected, during ‘harvest’ surgeries…having watched surgeons tell the patient, waking up from anesthesia, that the transplant surgery was not done and why…luckily, another organ was available within a day or two. I know of the disappointment and fear that all are facing.
Perhaps God has a more suitable donor in mind? Again..praying!
Yes, girl. My exact thoughts and the first I had. They knew this was a possibility and know thousands go through it every year. They are nothing if not realistic about the whole journey and have been since the beginning of it. Bless for your knowledgeable contribution and prayers, dear lady 😘
Betsy, I am so sorry to read this.
This brings back painful memories, but yet, had the pain not been endured, the blessing would not have come.
Dad had COPD in his early 40’s. I did not know the extent of it….at the time. When my son was born in 1991 I was away in the Army, but soon coming to take my wife and son to Ft Bragg. Dad had been in the hospital with pneumonia, and had just been released when my wife went in to give birth. Dad held his grandchild with great joy.
Doctors told my family Dad would not live to see my son graduate high school.
Time progressed, Dad’s lungs worsened. He was medically retired 8 years later when my daughter was born.
He did the best he could with what remained of his lungs.
In 2007 he was in ICU for nearly a month, it was a nightmare, God allowed him to survive.
One year *TO THE WEEK* later he was in ICU again…..with a lung transplant.
Dad lived ten years with a transplanted lung. Something we were told would only last him five years lasted twice that long.
Dad lived long enough for my son to graduate high school and college. He lived long enough to watch my daughter’s high school graduation.
Dad lived long enough to hold his only great grandchild, a precious little girl, from the grandson he was told he would not live to see graduate high school.
Dad lived to be 70 years old.
Only three of my direct paternal ancestors in the last 300 plus years have made it to 70…..
Dad was a good man, but he never obeyed the Gospel, something that has been a source of great grief. But I am convinced God allowed Dad to live in answer to prayers of my family, for my family.
God is good.
I tell you all of that to tell you this:
I believe that in 2007 God let Dad live for a lot of reasons. Which was an answer to prayers. And in 2008, when he got the lung transplant, which was an answer to prayers.
Keep the faith, Betsy.
We do not know why God operates as He does. But His ways are His ways for His reasons. Find a positive no matter how hard it is to do so.

Like you, Greg, I’ve lived long enough to be able to look back on my journey, my grown children’s journeys, and the journeys of others like your dad to know without question our loving Father has plans for everyone which involve testing times. I am so glad you took the time to share your dad’s, which is one so full of testimony to God’s grace and blessings. And goodness… so much goodness 💕 Such recognition which truly does deepen faith. It is why I instantly felt the assurance of God’s constant presence, and that’s a huge blessing in and of itself.

That’s where the looking back comes in I’ve always thought. Thank you for your prayers, my friend. I know how much you miss your dad. I am so glad his blessings on this earth were many which neither he nor you ever expected, including and especially the gift of his memory for those he never thought he’d see. But forward we march, praying and praising and patiently waiting for the answer to be “Now”… with many things.
Bless, dearest Woo 💕 Yes, this family lost someone they loved very much…a heart attack at 51, sudden and massive. And they had the strength to reach out to friends to ask if they knew anyone who needed an organ donation, all of this before he eventually left for his eternal home with Christ. That’s how we came to know of their incredibly brave offer…brave being a word too often used which in this case magnifies beyond measure its true meaning. And as this family came from the same town where Caroline grew up, the donor was compatible with Brian’s blood type, and had same the birthday as Brian’s, it was to be a specifically named donor transplant and seemed to be almost and ordained to happen.
There is always that dichotomy of emotions with procedures like this…joy on one side, grief on the other. For those who deal daily with these realities, I have nothing but profound respect for the massive ups and the heartbreaking downs they face with each patient. And for this family in particular, they continue to have my prayers, as they have from the outset, that they feel deeply the presence of the Great Comforter as they move forward without their father and husband. Sis, we know your heart here. Often, we are hardest on ourselves when I am 100% convinced The Lord would have let us off the hook long ago. In Him, there is no condemnation and thus that leaves us to tend to, and evict, the voices inside us claiming we are “guilty, wrong, late, early, unclean, unworthy…”
We do the best we can with what we know and leave God to the results.
Your fur friends and your human people are living their best lives near you. You are a good and Godly soul and a dear friend.

One of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit is understanding – however – to truly understand what another person is experiencing – one must experience their peril oneself -so in that light – you are correct !!!
We can all relate to one another if we ask for that gift – we can ask to walk a mile in their shoes – it is marvelous what we can learn from that journey, too !!!
How many times have you touched hearts with your prose expressions ??? Too many to count !!!
That is why the poem ‘Tell Us A Story’ was written – when the heart is touched by God – great and mighty things happen – look at Ms Idaho – the love of her life has gone home – and what does God have her doing ? Writing stories to share that help with her healing !!!

Mornin’ dear Bet. With this election, our world was saved from tyranny—I know a little bit about what had to have been planned for us and there was no room in that kind of society for liberty and freedom in it.
With DJT’s election the entire nation made a profoundly historic decision.
When President Trump turned his head those few centimeters we were witnessing the Hand Of God. I knew then that he would be our next president. But the entire population of America realized that also. Just look at what happened! Through His action and our collective actions, we were delivered from the hands of evil.
nd not only America realized something remarkable had happened, it sure looks like the rest of the world shared the feeling. Frankly, though I knew what I’d seen, the massive change in our political social structure was amazing. No doubt. We were saved in those very moments.
I think we can all say we witnessed God in action that day, dearest friend. Or put another way, we witnessed the power of God through what no one could describe as anything but a miracle. And in knowing what we saw that gave us hope that we weren’t at an end, but a beginning. And so it has proven to be ever since. God Bless America as He has before. One more day….😘🇺🇸🙏🏻

–Sunday First three to be released. Probably three females. No data who yet.
-A Signal (a hint) from Trump’s interview on NBC that he may try to push Israel to do the Phase 2 and 3 of the deal and lose the war to Hamas. His National Security Advisor said it bluntly in a meeting with families of hostages. I have to say that the families of hostages were granted access to Trump and his Advisor. Unfortunately the families of hostages were hijacked in Israel by the Left which is trying to make Israel lose the war and Bibi lose his job. We may be heading to a collision with Trump. Hopefully not. I will pray that not.
I think that Bibi is supposed to visit Trump shortly. Hopefully he will sort it out.
PS. I said before. The Trump’s envoy to the Middle East is closely connected to Qatar financially. Qatar are sponsors of Hamas. He could have applied more pressure on Qatar and Turkey than on Israel.
-You may not know but Bibi had his prostate removed three weeks ago. Mid his court case and the war and he didn’t stay in the hospital as he was told. He must be sedated, it was a major surgery. It could influence his decisions.
-Bibi gave a 15 min speech to the nation. Main points: “Got ok from Trump to go to war of the second phase fails”. “A promise to still achieve the three goals of the was. Replacing Hamas, getting the hostages home, securing the future.”
“If we get back to fight it will be done differently and more powerful way”.
Note: He contradicted himself when he said “if” because Hamas is not defeated yet so we must resume the war if we are to achieve the three goals. It’s not an “if”.
-One media outlet got inside info that Bibi will replace the leadership of the IDF. I said it long ago. They sinned and should have been replaced long ago. They also carry the responsibility that this war is not over. I hope he will also fire the ahead of Shabak (Spy agency). He is a Liberal who not only messed up before 10/7 but also failed to located the hostages. A bad hat.
-All the Telegram channels that I use (about 10) are full of horror stories of the 290 murderers which will be released with the specifics of the attacks. Just imagine that the US would have made a deal and release the Boston bombers, the guy who ran a truck into the crowed in New Orleans, the Pulse Club attacker, the guy who opened fire in Texas base, the San Bernardino terrorist who killed 14. And keep this list for 290 people and then let the families of the victims know that they are being released. On top of it I discovered that while they are deported to Gaza and other places, they will be able to go back home to the West Bank after three years if they are not evidently involved in terror. Also I find out that we can’t get them back in jail for their previous crimes if they return to terror (Hamas insisted on it).
So yes, it’s a terrible deal and people are pissed off at Bibi and Trump. The left is mocking the Right for cheering when Trump was elected. At this point I can only pray that things will go back on the rails with the war and with the relationship with the US.
Bibi has many souls and he tends to surprise and pull things up when people think there is no return.
-Chief of Staff visited Gaza and said that it was the pressure and wins in the war that made Hamas agree to this deal that they didn’t agree before. He said that we still have a lot to do in Gaza. He promised to get all the hostages home. Note: He should go. He never uses the word “victory”. We need a new leadership. We have good people. I know who Bibi likes. We shall see. As a note: It was the Israeli Deep State that appointed him. He was appointed by the Left the last week before they were replaced. Practically it is illegal but the Legal system which is Deep State did nothing to suspend it. They wanted him for a reason, he is one of them. I wouldn’t go as far as a conspiracy theory about 10/7, it’s not like the US. But we had people who are blinded by their liberal ideology. The thought that “Hamas is not a threat.”
“Just let them have good economy and all will be fine”.
I will appreciate any prayers for Trump and Bibi to be aligned and beat the evil that we are facing for the sake of a better future and peace.

PS. Latest news, the IDF brought back home the body of Oron Shaul, an IDF soldier’s body who was held in Gaza for over a decade. Closure for the family and less terrorists to be released.

I had to take a break for a couple of weeks and have not seen your posts. I did see elsewhere the “deal,” releasing thousands of prisoners from Israel, for 33 (?) hostages, including informed, elderly, women…
Trump promised that if all hostages were not returned by the day he took office, there would be hell to pay. Trading many for few, which has occurred many times during the last years, shows weakness, no matter how this all occurred. Trump knows this. He has SO much to reverse here. I have to hope that there is a deeper plan here too…

Our heroes, the Givati and Nahal Infantry Brigades are singing the anthem on the way out of positions in North Lebanon after a year and three months of fierce combat. They killed hundreds of Hamas terrorist in the past couple of months alone. They also took some casualties themselves.
The name of the anthem is “Hatikva”this means “The hope”. Here are the words:

Biography: Frank Ramsey was a British mathematician and philosopher best known for his immense contributions to learning prior to his early death at 26 years old. WE ARE FIGHTING A SPIRITUAL WAR OF GOOD VERSUS EVIL
PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

All things can be turned to a positive.
My knee hurts from some unknown issue, what I discover is all my other aches are hiding now.
Life lesson? Pain in one place, misery, can free you from other attacks. And I use attacks because I believe evil, demons, satan, are always involved. Also an opportunity to increase faith. Pain is the great cleanser.
But, my thoughts of today delve into California and the fires. I read these insane articles and I was extremely mad. Now, not so much! I laugh now at the insanity and it is insanity. There are no equals to compare to the sheer ignorance so laugh. If a man sets himself on fire after murdering or attempting murder, laugh he has just judged himself rightly.
Cali has judged themselves and continue to do so with the measures they created.
It’s why I have to laugh when parents scream about men in their daughter’s bathrooms. You did it so suck it up.
Me? I’d pull my daughter out the second that happened but parents can’t and be “worthy” just laugh at the morons.

I gave this post much thought. Even though macular and glaucoma problems are not as earth / life shattering as many problems shared on the Ot, the problems make life much more challenging when they happen to YOU!.
