I want to say thanks to the Treeper who posted the revelation that Costco organic apples contain ‘apeel’ – I was about to buy some but now will not – getting them from AzureStandard dotcom instead (more expensive but worth it).
I’ve watched a few of this guy’s videos & can forward his message – he filters both the best deals in various stores (that meet the criteria here) AND features guidelines to AVOID buying foods with CRAP ingredients –
for those of you who carry a pocket computer/phone device he has a free app to check any item in any grocery store against those guidelines. He seems like a pretty good teacher (you just have to know your own sensitivities)
