Eh, this could get messy.
Apparently, Steve Bannon was talking to media in Italy and said some rather confrontational things about Elon Musk.
(CP) “I will have Elon Musk run out of here by Inauguration Day,” Bannon told the Italian daily Corriere della Sera this week. “He will not have a blue pass to the White House, he will not have full access to the White House, he will be like any other person.”
“He is a truly evil guy, a very bad guy. I made it my personal thing to take this guy down,” Bannon added. “Before, because he put money in, I was prepared to tolerate it; I’m not prepared to tolerate it anymore.”
[…] “This thing of the H-1B visas, it’s about the entire immigration system is gamed by the tech overlords, they use it to their advantage, the people are furious,” Bannon said, noting that “76 percent of engineers working in Silicon Valley are non-Americans.”
[…] “Peter Thiel, David Sachs, Elon Musk, are all white South Africans,” Bannon said. “He should go back to South Africa. Why do we have South Africans, the most racist people on earth, white South Africans, we have them making any comments at all on what goes on in the United States?” (source)
This is like watching two Rams butt heads.
At the end of the day, thankfully Donald Trump is not Nikki Haley. Optimal solutions.

Why would Steve Bannon cause a fracture in the MAGA Alliance that won the election????
Seems pretty stupid at this point. No?
The timing and format are definitely debatable, but the message seems on point – let’s stop with the silly hero worship.
You are saying that calling all white South African “the most racist people on Earth” is on point?
Or was is he bit where Bannon said Musk “put some money in” – ignoring the massive impact of Elon’s reform of twitter?
Hero worship? From whom? I see a strawman. The same strawman Democrats always use against MAGA people.
Perhaps its the other way around
the black south africans are running the whites out of town
burning farms, etc.
“South Africans, the most racist people on earth, white South Africans, ”
Bannon is hitting the sauce hard again.
If you ever wondered why PDJT gave him the boot so swiftly in 2016, wonder no more.
Pres Trump does have an excellent record from his first term.
He has beat back the DC cabal and the enemies of our country to come back and win a second term against all odds.
No one else has been able to beat this, he is the only one so far.
Your comment about PT kicking Bannon to the curb is something to think about.
“Sloppy Steve” may be apropos here. Maybe the bull in the china shop approach is *not* what President Trump is aiming for *prior* to seeking confirmation of his appointments?
“lets stop with the silly hero worship”
Hopefully people actually will finaly stop worshipping Bannon as a MAGA Commander and “hero”.
After all, for 9+ years he’s shown time and again that he’s one of President Trumps chief rivals; a predator wolf wearing MAGA camo disguises
In fact, one of my mneumonic mottos isn’t ” Remember the Maine” its “Remember Judge Moore” ie remember Bannons first overt betray President Trump Op, using his pre Warroom platform, Breitbart, to pull it off.
Fwiw….
In 2025, with the stakes AND risks so high and so obvious, I now view Bannon ” hero” worshippers aka his “posse” to be life threateningly dangerous rather than “silly”.
Consequently, I’m now praying for him and for each of them alot more than I used to do.
How could you put your trust in Elon? Seriously….
He seems about 80% on board. Nobody is 100% except Sundance and most of us but we didn’t give President Trump $250 million or fend off the Big Steal in Detroit, Milwaukee, Atlanta and Philadelphia. Musk, Thiel and their people did that!
If he’s for unlimited serfs to make himself a emperor @ mine & my fellow citizen’s expense he’s not even 50% on board.
H-1B is anti-MAGA. It’s the direct opposite of American First.
H-1B needs to be reformed/minimized.
The 65,000 visas issued each year, total 650,000 jobs over a decade.
Jobs native-born Americans can do.
Plus, those 650,000 visas in a decade mean at least 2.5-3 million PERMANENT additions to the US population (avg 4 people per visa – 4 x 650,000).
While not the first priority,
Action on worker visas needs to occur in this administration – or it will never get done.
It needs to be enforced IAW with the law.
He’s not , but Obama’s 4th term would be bor unlimited serfs to make himself an emperor.
No hyperbole there!
Respectfully, Barry Soetoro used to give speeches demanding immigration reform. However, that doesn’t mean he’s on our side of that argument.
“The American people are a welcoming and generous people. But those who enter our country illegally, and those who employ them, disrespect the rule of law.” -0bama
http://obamaspeeches.com/061-Immigration-Reform-Obama-Speech.htm
He told me I could keep my doctor too.
At what point during the campaign did you ask yourself: anti-trumpers THROWING MONEY into the Trump Campaign…..WHAT DO THEY WANT?
The importance of the question you don’t seem to understand NOR the ramifications of their desires.
To answer it plainly for you: They want to be the ones to ARM the NEW MILITARY and to FINISH THE SURVEILLENCE STATE INFRASTRUCTURE. There are Trillions at stake for them – not us -them. And with deep pockets they will believe they should indeed rule the world.
Do you understand now why everyone is against these Oligarchs??
The Trillions at stake all belonged to Us thePeople once.
How could you trust Bannon?
Former Navy intel, he blew up early in the first PDJT admin, by recklessly badmouthing PDJT and others in the admin, so that PDJT FIRED his ass.
I still remember that photo of Bannon in the Oval Office wagging his finger in President Trump’s face…
Why trust either? Just be glad for the sunlight. Media honesty is hard to find.
Seriously. Check your egos at the door, gents. This isn’t about you.
It will be amazing what can get done if no one cares who gets the credit. Let’s draw near to God, make America great, and be a light unto the world. If you must give credit, then give it to Christ. None of us would be here without Him.
Blessed common sense!
It sounds petty and jealous. Did Bannon think he would be given a high position IF he went to jail?
No.
Bannon has always had his own agenda. It is usually parallel to Trump’s.
He sees the danger and is taking action from his current position.
Anybody who worked for Goldman Sachs and then Hollywood is good by me!
All kidding aside, like almost everyone, Bannon has plusses and minuses.
My trust level in Bannon is zero.
Maybe because he gave the Trump campaign 1/4 billion +$ to ensure that the election was too big to rig. Would you rather be looking at a Kamala inauguration next week?
Kamala was never going to win the election.
So you had zero concerns about election fraud.
Duly noted.
Ditto for Bannon.
I don’t trust either.
And, I just realised why I stopped watching Bannon.
I watched the Fix news segment with J.D. Vance, and see how his statement on J6 prisoners is truncated and then used to incence MAGA people who A) don’t bothercto actuallt review the interview, but respond to others accounts of what he said and B) are easily emotionally triggered, which is immature.
Then, I watched Rogans interview of Zuck, 3 hours long. And for most of it, Zuck was doing a good job of sounding reasonable, and then the subject of Govt. censorship and Vsxs came up.
Rogan, having plenty of time allowed Zuck to hang himself, saying a bunch of lies, and when he was done, Joe calmly and politely called him out on his bullshit.
This is something you can do, in a 3 hour convo, that you can’t in a 5 minute interview like the networks have.
And Bannon structures his show, like a network show, rather than like a Rogan podcast.
And thats why I don’t watch Warroom.
Also, Tucker always agrees with everything his guest says, whereas Rogan called “bullshit” when he heard it; i prefer the Rogan approach.
Meglomaniac?
Seems like that and being a trouble maker.
Why didn’t Musk tell us he supported HS1B visa’s during the election? Ever wondered that?
Because everyone would have known he was a fraud and never a MAGA guy in the first place.
Good lord, he’s only voted for Democrats his whole life.
Forget the H1B Visa nonsense! It’s a non-issue for President Trump and for MAGA for the following reasons…
A: Almost all Tech Industry workers effected are Democrats, support abortion, Climate change, banning cars, banning oil and natural gas production, want your guns confiscated, wanted amnesty for illegal aliens, and don’t give two craps about you? Why are you worked-up in a lather about them?
B: President Trump is working to bring the tech industry back to the United States including Apple Computer, semiconductor manufacturing, etc, etc. He feels that the massive job creation will more than offset the jobs taken by H1B visa workers from India.
I’ll tell you why, because American engineers are losing their jobs every day because of this policy. I can assure you that these people are not just Democrats especially the ones that lost their jobs. They were attracted to Trump in 2016 for this exact policy that Trump has changed his tune on.
And like it or not, any policy that promotes the hiring of immigrant labor over American laborers will always be an issue and never go away. You are forgetting why Trump was so popular when he first ran in 2016, and why he’s popular today.
Not only do the companies fire the American engineer, then they force them to train the new immigrant engineer to eventually replace his job. This happened at Disney of all places so we’re not just talking big Tech companies, and Democrat voters. That’s just crap. If it was your damn job, you would feel completely different about it, and none of this sounds like anyone is trying to Make America Great Again.
Thats the damn issue.
I am not a Democrat and H1B’s destroyed my career… and my business.
H1B’S cost me my job and I’m far from high tech.
Musk is only out for himself and nobody else
to say any different means you have a IQ below 60
he made a investment and he will want a ROI
if you are a casualty from it. Oh well
the Elonites are delusional
Elon Musk is a Cultural MAGA crisis actor, embedded in the MAGA movement by the Establishment Deep State.
Cultural MAGA Manifesto
1. Make MAGA safe for Globalism and oligarchs.
2. Isolate and Destroy Donald Trump and his inner circle, divide his base.
3. Capture the MAGA Movement and distract with social issues such as DEI, Trans, Abortion, CRT and leave China, Cartels, Globalism, Oligarchy alone
4. Wall Street gets Globalism embedded in China, Main Street gets back Girls Sports and Locker Rooms
5. Punch soft targets in WWF style battles with Woke Corporates like Disney and vassal states in Europe
6. NEVER, EVER, threaten Wall Street, City of London Globalist Transnational Oligarchy, or ability to obtain defense contracts
7. Protect private networks, secret societies and the Deep State
8. Virtue signal around MAGA memes, but don’t tariff China, block the Cartels, mess with Rich Donor Business Plans, or jeopardize future defense contracts
9. Economic MAGA becomes tokens and trinkets, Cultural MAGA becomes everything
10. Cultural MAGA is the evil twin of Cultural Marxism
11. Oligarchs and Karl Marx are the man-love creators of Cultural MAGA
12. Full Spectrum MAGA (Economic Security is National Security) is the enemy of Cultural MAGA (Globalist RINO MAGA meme virtue signalling)
13. Cultural MAGA NEVER addresses systemic, universal, total surveillance or economic migration
NAFTA cost me several engineering jobs/industries,
then H1B visas forced me into gov work,
then clintobama drove those not a corrupt left synchophant out of gov.
How many of our country’s talented engineers are not working?
I was tech doc, not an engineer. But I could have worked and earned for another ten years.
Grabbed an early retirement offer as an alternative to hanging around until I would be in the forced-to-train-my-replacement boat with many of my co-workers.
It became an ugly and deeply offensive workplace in short order. And I lost track of how many people were suddenly named Rama.
What did you do afterward?
Which industry?
People go into the STEM Field knowing well in advance that they are competing with foreign workers. Why would anyone do that and yes, there are numerous surveys and polls showing 99% support for Democrats at Apple, Google, Amazon, Facebook and Twitter including donations.
Like you, I think H1B stinks but it’s definitely not the hill to die on when President Trump is wooing Tim Cook, Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Michael Dell and the entire tech and semiconductor industry to move production back to the United States. President Trump is trying to create millions of high paying jobs vs 80,000 H1B coding jobs. Pissing these tech giants off isn’t a winning strategy!
I guess this rules out you being an engineer or that you ever studied at Cal tech, MIT or Georgia Tech?
Maybe you will say the same thing about your career job? Maybe we should give it to the Mexican laborer instead over you since you knew the industry you were going into had foreign competition. Do you hear how stupid this sounds? Sounds completely anti America to me.
Okay so you’re MAGA as long as it includes everyone that doesn’t work in the tech industry. Screw that kind of MAGA especially when these Tech companies should have never moved the jobs away in the first place. This is what Trump stood for, not giving in to these stupid companies that have demonstrated they could care less for the American worker already.
It’s not just the tech companies. So many companies have offshored any and all of their tech.
Oh I agree with you, but I was responding to his comment about tech companies.
Look, I agree with you but you’re fighting a lost battle! You can’t beat Tim Cook, Jeff Bezos and Mark Zuckerberg. They have more $$$ than you do and President Trump wants them to move their overseas business activities back to the United States so he’s not going to piss them off. The new jobs created by this strategy will offset the H1B jobs losses by one hundred fold. That’s President Trump’s strategy.
I don’t think so. It’s like saying it’s inevitable that AI and Tech will bring in so many advances to the surveillance state, that we should just accept what’s coming and kiss our individual liberties away because of it. The 4th Amendment and our Constitution be damned, because we need this more for our nation’s security.
Both issues are the same because they reflect our values as a nation. I don’t want to be ruled over by some tech magnate because he has more money than me. Our founder’s said hell no to this type of elitist control of the American people.
“Our founder’s said hell no to this type of elitist control of the American people.”
And that’s why we have a second amendment…
Then start your own damn business.
I/you may not like these tech barons (I don’t), but they had ideas, got the capital in whatever avenue open to them and built their empires. Well…maybe not Gates!
Do you really think this conversation, a week before PDJT’s inauguration, is doing any good?
A Mexican laborer is not going to perform the same functions as an MIT grad. False comparison.
You’re responsible for your own life. I can’t speak for all industries, but IT is all about human capital. I was in the industry for a quarter century – longer if I include a piece of my military career after I was done flying. Today’s state-of-the-art became tomorrow’s commodity skillset quickly. The paradigm changed every 6-7 years. One had to continually project where change was leading and anticipate/acquire the necessary/marketable skills. Folks were making a ton of money in mainframe tech in the 70s. Once PCs, networking, etc., took off in the late 80s and 90s labor had all the advantages. My experience in the military, gov’t sectors selling my skills and later on assessing candidate hires was that IT actually was less susceptible to blue blood backgrounds. It was one of the first industries that, once its value function was understood, many folks who had high school backgrounds only or dropped out of college – but actually understood computer design, coding, etc., because they lived it – were among the first hired. They often populated the ranks of early hackers of whatever color (black hat, white hat, etc.) and set up their own businesses. Where I ran into disproportionate foreign numbers was in the labs.
Human capital is the name of the game in a whole slew of industries these days. Keep up or drop out of the race. These are not industries that guarantee long-term employment for the commodity skill sets. There is, however, ample opportunity conceding there influences most of us don’t care for (e.g., connections, corrupt HR departments, unenforced laws like H1B).
The export of American jobs overseas had multiple sources that operated over decades, not just H1Bs. For example, overweening Union demands (anyone who has/had friends who worked in the auto industry in the 60s and 70s knows this is ground truth), some industries simply making profoundly dumb decisions (e.g., the steel industry discounting the efficiencies of Japanese basic oxygen furnaces), the flytrap of immense Chinese consumer markets, onerous regs such as OSHA, increasingly legislated benefits packages, and YES a deliberate political effort to sell out American industry and weaken the defense industrial base through transition to service industry dominance/export of basic industries overseas. In the bigger picture, the powers that be decided it was easier to make money financializing everything than it was to produce real wealth.
As CA Joe notes, PDJT is focused on the biggest piece of the global economic and financial restructuring: bringing industry back to American shores. Attack the problem space in a methodical fashion. H1Bs are a subset of this effort.
Americans go into the STEM field because
-They are apted to it.
-They are bright and therefore don’t want lower paying menial drudgery jobs.
-They are not apted to the other mentally stimulating fields like law, med/pharma.
-They may have a problem with the ethics of law, med/pharma.
-They are not set with family money.
The problem isn’t Americans going into STEM fields knowing in advance they are at a disadvantage because of the underpaid indentured servant foreign workers.
The problem is the H-1B indentured servant foreign workers being flooded in by corporations seeking to increase profit to obscene levels.
Elon “F YOURSELF IN THE FACE” should be run out of the Trump cadre, and H-1B needs to be reformed to severely curtail it.
One problem now is that SpaceX can claim that their leading performance is due to the indentured servants working like galley slaves, 100 hour workweeks, and if they didn’t have that they would be just another rocket company. And the government will heed that, because ultimately its all about power, no concern about people, whether Americans or the H-1B slaves.
They have routinely granted more like 800,000 H1B’s per year, which is unacceptable. If they stick with the 85,000 “limit” and make changes where they can’t be paid less (including all benefits), then maybe.
We will see.
Bannon and Musk are both loose cannons rolling around on the MAGA ship’s deck and need to be restrained.
False. Those on the older spectrum went to college in the late 70’s and 80’s. No one expected or had an inkling what is occurring now would happen.
And NAFTA exported most of our manufacturing.
High paying jobs for whom is the topic. Main Street or foreigners?
EXACTLY! It is happening in MANY industries. We are either America First or we are not. If we are America First, we do not let foreigners steal American jobs. This is a #1 MAGA issue. And is begins when foreigners take seats that AMERICANS should have at American colleges/universities.
If you really want to Make America Great, I would think you want AMERICANS to want to get education/experience in STEM. I don’t think channeling Americans into being “influencers”, “content creators”, or financial whizs is going to do that.
Why not both especially if the influencers are foreigners and don’t reflect our culture and values?
Win win is the way I see it.
WHY, would any REAL American, train their own replacement?
Right there is the issue. Please do not respond with the has a family to support BS!
There are morals, and there is a bridge too far!
WHY, again, would anyone train their replacement person? Especially as they are being let go in the process?
I, and only I, not speaking for anyone else, would suggest to Mgmt, pound sand, before I would ever help in this sinister process.
But, that is just me.
Btw, yes this option came up where I was employed, and I resigned before I would ever submit to this BS.
Carry on
They definitely aren’t Blue Collar types.
So, send them all back to India.
This is a truly moronic take. They’re Americans.
It’s a practical take. They are mostly all Democrats and hate you. They don’t care about you in the least. When manufacturing plants in the rust belt closed and moved overseas they laughed at you. It’s just a battle that we can’t win now and President Trump did nothing about H1B from 2016 to 2020. Take a 90% win and be happy.
President Trump did nothing about H1B from 2016 to 2020.
Sorry, but this is not a good argument. This issue was so far down the mega MAGA list he was trying to achieve against active opposition at that time, it would have taken a telescope to see it.
I’m glad it’s surfacing now and getting a good airing out.
Part A is definitely not true
He wasn’t running for election. Minor detail. He doesn’t owe anyone any explanation per se. The onus is on PDJT – he’s the one who is accountable. He’s the one who has shaped an alliance of some sort with Musk. He’s the one ho accepted the money. He’s the one who has developed a relationship with Musk.
“Us”/”We”? You dance with the one who brought you.
That’s a very good question, California Joe. Very good, indeed.
Why would you be ok with importing foreigners in the equivalent of a small US every year forever?
Well, did you listen to what Bannon had to say? Did you hear what Elon had to say weeks ago?
Yes
Because he’s a sloppy selfish blowhard, looking for relevancy…. For every one positive note, he’s able to gather 5-10 negatives in short order to outweigh the positive net win. He can’t seem to shake this monkey on his back. Though I don’t honestly trust Elon, he personally pushed Trump over the finish line, not Bannon. Steve will find himself ostracized once more if this behavior continues.
At least he did not tell us to GFYS in the mouth.
In the “face”. 😨😳
😂
“He personally pushed Trump over the finish line…”
Wow.
Gee, I didn’t see that.
Musk pushed him over the finish line….
So the 100,000,000 voters played no role ?
Trump was always going to win, just a matter of
by how much.
Some of you people and your musk worship are
the same who were shouting “time to pay your
barr tab demosatanists” .
Musk is not our benevolent friend.
Inflation and a good ground game won the election.
This notion that Elon played a major role in the win is an urban legend
So, his $250 million didn’t help!
It didn’t hurt, but it wasn’t the be all that you
seem to think.
From his perspective it appears that he believes
that was an investment to further his own
wealth, power and control.
Yes, it’s very stupid , but, imo, most MAGA folks won’t pay a lot of attention to Bannon who tends to be a loose canon.
Why would MAGA voters assume one of the architects of the total surveillance state has the interests of regular Americans in mind? The tech bros want the financial spoils and access to control of the system being built.
Bannon is right. They don’t give a shit about American workers or American liberties as evidenced by their desire to replace citizens with obsequious indentured servants from the third world and the immediate silencing of citizens’ criticisms of such policies.
Wake up Joe or you will live in the pod and eat the bugs.
Steve kinda likes drama don’t forget..
They need the clicks!
How many times has Alex Jones gone nutty on a rant?
This is what they do..
Bannon has been MAGA for years, Musk just arrived and is trying to buy his way in… when he’s not saying he will go to war against us.
Musk needs to go. NOW.
Doesn’t have to be an intentional outcome.
One of the few guys in conservative media not cowed by Elon Musk’s political rise .
I’m with Musk on this one. Bannon should realize that people can change. Musk’s actions in supporting Trump so openly put a huge bullseye on him. We are truly fortunate that he did so, and his acquisition of X has allowed at least some freedom to come up for air.
Bannon’s fundamentalist attitude is better suited for the left, who is intolerant of anyone who diverges a little bit from the dominant narrative.
Bannon is right about the HB1 visas. Far too many of them and the people treated like slaves. They should be training Americans for these jobs. There needs to be a way to work this out. Elon has done a lot for this Country.
I watched all of my very competent American citizen developer co-workers get systematically replaced by H1B visa holders from East India. The department of personnel from many State, County and City agencies did the same thing. IBM and Deloitte are at the top of the list of those that exploit these laws and the people they are bringing in. I have nothing against the people coming in on this program. The ones I work with have been very kind. However, they are not better coders. They are cheaper period. Only two have ever been sent back. One for treating violence against a female supervisor and the other because he was about 30 years older than the guy they did the video conference interview with. H1B has destroyed the careers of kids that got a degree in programming but can get a job. Bannon is 100% correct about the damage of the H1B program to Americans. I was told once, one line of coding buried in with a bunch of other coding could become effective at a specific time and date to stop an engine. Just one line of coding. It is dangerous to national security.
Great points DeplorableGranny.
Seeing firsthand jobs in IT, Operations, Finance, etc. being sent overseas or replaced in N. America with H1Bs is devastating.
Look no further than Honeywell, PPG, Berkshire Hathaway subsidiaries, GE, etc.
In 2028 a local specialty chemical company (Lubrizol) would celebrate 100 years, with what seems to be a shell of a corporate presence remaining, enough to call it a U.S. company. The parking lot says it all. Jobs sent to India and China out of greed. Although apparently it’s because not enough U.S. talent. Sure.
Before Lubrizol, it was ABB and their dwindling parking lot nearby that left the area. Sadly this drain has been going on for years.
Not to mention the language barrier. Does it matter how talented this people are, if you have to speak Hindi to understand their accent?
Indeed. When I left the foreign hires were wreaking serious havoc on the product user interface designs with their bad English.
For the money he will wear that bullseye.
Well, let’s see..you have Bannon, who has been on the MAGA train for 10 + years, and always fought to have President Trump’s back, who went TO PRISON for 4 months
Then you have Musk, who censored people on X, promoted The Meatball, and has the maturity of an 11-year-old, who a couple months before the election jumped on the caboose of the Trump train, and then promoted President Trump because Musk knew he (Musk) wouldn’t look good in an orange jumpsuit!
Then why is Bannon not part of the Trump administration if he’s all that great?
Maybe he works better on the outside.
Stephen K. Bannon and the likes of Mike Davis with the Article 3 Project work better on the “outside” in my opinion. Since we have a dysfunctional/failed/corrupt/biased/etc. 4th (or 5th) branch who are supposed to be honest journalists, which we don’t, guys like Mike and Steve ensure freedom of the press and a free flow of information to the awakening citizenry.
Because Bannon is a hothead. I think Bannon has so much passion for wanting to save our great country, that he just can’t contain himself sometimes. I love it when people speak the(ir) truth.
Who would you rather have in a war trench with you…Bannon, who will go balls to the walls to protect you and him…or Musk, who says he’ll be right behind you but runs the other way.
Not all warriors are made for the limelight.
Bannon is a self-made man, and Musk is a US-taxpayer-made man
Musk knows that people can change.
Look at him, for example;
First he was super patriot.
Ten minutes later, super bastard.
Musk cares nothing about anyone, except himself.
Musk is trying to ride the wave for his own benefit. He was dumb enough to open his mouth and tell Americans that they’re too stupid to work in the tech sector. The sooner he’s laid low the better off we all are.
Calling out the gang rape, torture, and pimp pedeophile Pakistani gangs wasn’t for his benefit.
Redirecting attention from his H1B visa stance to some issue across the pond that is great outrage material, but entirely out of his or our control?
I don’t see any reason he would do that…
Kind of obvious, so maybe…
It changed the conversation.
Why didn’t he bring it up 2 years ago?
Why didn’t he bring up the 500,000 missing children from our border ?
this public infighting is an unnecessary and avoidable distraction, it drains resources and stalls momentum
keep it to yourselves and behind the scenes, boys
kindly stfu and allow Trump to be the final arbitrator
I really resent Bannon’s comments and slurs on “white South Africans”. We are NOT racist and we would NEVER make such offensive comments about Americans! On the contrary, many of us – and we are a very mixed bunch of folk-think the world of you guys and love your amazing President Trump. We feel so heartened just listening to his speeches -attending a Trump rally is on my bucket list! Cheers!
I really recent slurs on anyone’s ethnicity.
No wonder Trump kicked this loudmouth out of the White House.
Musk is doing Trump’s dirty work for him and Trump approves of it. Trump hates the Muslim rape gangs of the UK and commented on this 2016. That was 8 YEARS ago. Nothing new at all. Trump has daughters so feels this personally. Trump detests Keir Starmer the PM.
He let Musk loose on it – doing his dirty work and Bannon doesn’t like it?
If Trump didn’t like this, He would say so in 5 seconds. He doesn’t.
MAGA, baby – forever.
Tough, Steve. get over it.
Musk, likewise, is a Father.
Spoken like the true Jerry Nadler.
How can you be MAGA and still support HS1B visas? That is the dilemma that Trump faces and Bannon is right to call him out on it?
MAGA was all about bringing more jobs to the American middle class? How does favoring the hiring of immigrant engineers over American engineers support MAGA?
Most of the tech industry effected by the H1B visa program are Democrats who voted for Obama, Biden, Newsom and Kamala Harris. They certainly don’t care about you. Why are you worked up about them when they vote for their own displacement by foreigners, support illegal immigration and want to abolish ICE???
That isn’t so. I have posted reams of evidence of just how many Americans in ALL kinds of jobs have been harmed by the H1B racket.
The people pushing this have already violated laws and want to continue to do so.
I will ALWAYS stand up for American workers over over Indians or any other foreigners, and it’s a BIG FAT LIE that we don’t have the best and the brightest right here in America.
President Trump is infatuated with Musk and letting him call the shots and you know what else?
I don’t want his stinkin’ foreign investment deal with his Dubai crony, that he’s willing to kick American workers in the teeth over.
Who needs it?
Foreign investors with foreign workers? No thanks.
A lot of this is just show. Bannon, Musk, Tulsi. Narratives. Some truth in there, sure, that too. Don’t trust any of them. Observe as well as you can, and watch how things work out. They will all work out. For now.
We have compromised on immigration, which led to compromise on a dozen other policy issues, which led to more immigration compromise. And here we are, I have nowhere else to retreat to, this is a hill to die on.
With you Clarion. We’re MAGA for a reason: Make America Great Again. It’ not MIGA, make India great again. FH1B
Tech jobs of the last 20 years were the factory jobs of the 50’s and 60’s. The H1B issue has primarily affected Gen X. Millennials and Gen Z are affected in the sense that those jobs are not as available for them as they should be. But Gen X has been hit multiple times by H1B replacements.
There also seems to be some missing history here. Jack Welsh built the tech schools in the 80’s in India as CEO of GE. GE was still investing in India in the early 2000’s when I was first replaced by H1B’s.
India is a caste system. Import them at your own risk, as they will and do continue to put their native caste system to work in this country.
Do not be short-sighted about the number of democrats in tech. Most of them were indoctrinated and will change in time.
This is a load of crap. The tech industry of all industries should be American and reflect our values and culture. The same industry that helped win WW2 by the way.
When it comes to AI and surveillance, you will wish it was so.
That is not true.
Cal Joe – You are speaking to many people here at CTH who have been negatively affected by the HB1 policy. I personally haven’t been a DementoRat since the 70’s when I was young and foolish.
Please don’t put us all into that particular bucket…
I escaped losing as much as most of the others here – but I definitely saw it happen in person.
Musk is from Africa, amigo.
The founders of Intel were refugees from Europe.
Steve Jobs father was from Syria.
You getting the picture yet, sunshine?
My ancestors were immigrants and started two universities in the US and built more of NYC than Trump. Way more.
MAGA forever, baby. Trump gets it, you don’t yet – but there is hope.
Or would rather have another 10 million from the Congo in uncontrolled immigration across our Southern Border. Make up you mind – FAST.
I don’t give a damn where they immigrated from as long they did it the right legal way.
Hs1B visas are not the right way, they are an abusive and corrupt system intended to benefit companies bottom lines at the expense of American jobs. Trying to makes this an immigrant issue completely misses the entire point.
Everyone is cool with the American melting pot the way it use to exists before money started buying off politicians.
Stay on point Nadler instead of making up your Democratic talking points, fat sunshine . You are as MAGA as Bernie Sanders is.
So the assimilated, thank you. They weren’t given entitlement s. Starting to get the picture sunshine?
If Trump approved, Bannon would be part of his administration.
Musk is not MAGA
pretending he is MAGA will leave you disappointed.
you can all rip on the messenger
but have nothing to say about the message
Beware the Elon curse 🙂
“Ex-Labour MP arrested – days after attacking ‘unacceptable’ Elon”
“……………..Tony Blair’s former defence minister went on GB News last Sunday to offer his thoughts on the Tesla billionaire’s tweets about Keir Starmer and Jess Phillips………
………Fast forward less than a week and what has old Ivor been up to? It transpires that he was arrested today on suspicion of child sex offences after a sting by paedophile hunters….”
https://www.spectator.co.uk/article/ex-labour-mp-arrested-days-after-attacking-unacceptable-elon/
Was Steve on the campaign trail this go round ( 4 months aside?)?
Go Steve
Hey Bannon… how about we START WITH the CLINTON FOUNDATION Dream Team of elites???? That would be an awesome place to start in the MAGA attack!!!!
Some really interesting and notable names here. Pritzkers. Head of College Board. SalesForce. Then, do we see any correlations to the Obama Foundation dream team?
How about we stay focused on lifelong MAGA haters?
https://www.clintonfoundation.org/programs/education-health-equity/too-small-fail/team-directory/
(isn’t it “cute” how they call it “too small fail” – as in “too small to fail”. how precious!)
https://www.obama.org/about/leadership/
Are you arguing that Musk is MAGA? What evidence do you have that he was ever a MAGA guy?
The evidence we do have is that Musk supports the hiring of immigrant engineers over American engineers to save his companies money on labor. This doesn’t sound like MAGA to me?
Maga is about bringing more jobs back to the American middle class, period.
Stay on topic.
Musk got President Trump elected. Otherwise, Merchan would have put in jail last week!
So sans Musk, kamalamadingdong was going to win?
Yes! That’s the lay of the land.
No, she was never winning.
Harris never had a shot…Musk or no Musk.
Most likely.
Musk helped but I didn’t vote for Trump because of Musk, and most Americans didn’t either.
The only person Elon has ever put over the top was……..my bad. Without subsidies PayPal,Tesla, nor SpaceX would float. Musk is in this for Musk, anyone incapable is seeing that simply isn’t being honest with themselves.
Stop with the musk fan boy worship.
He showed up only after it became obvious.
So, previously Sundance painted Steve Bannon as a worthless oportunist…..now he is featured here (because he is in alignment?).
I’m getting tired of the sniping personally. At least Sundance, let’s balance things out with point-counterpoint.
Interesting isn’t it – the “alignment” includes dislike of the Trump Children (main reason Bannon was kicked to the curb in Term 1 after 6 months), dislike of J.D., dislike of President Trump’s SCOTUS folks – basically dislike of almost everyone close to the President.
In February 2017, Bannon appeared on the cover of Time, on which he was labeled “the Great Manipulator”. The headline used for the associated article was “Is Steve Bannon the Second Most Powerful Man in the World?”, alluding to Bannon’s perceived influence in the White House.
That’s the KEY right there – Bannon wants (needs) that limelight of “Most Powerful Man in the World”
He has self identified as like Cromwell to the Tudor Court – clearly ignoring how that turned out for Cromwell. It would be a wise decision to step back and consider what is really happening here –
And WHY.
Very well thought out response – and I agree.
So you’re saying Steve is jealous because Musk is now the new second most powerful man taking Steve’s place? Well maybe they should all get together in a room with PTrump and clear the air. It would be much better if all hands on deck were united in the mission ahead.
I don’t necessarily think that Elon Musk IS the “second most powerful” person in the room. Musk is absolutely Brilliant, I don’t know how anyone can dispute that – his money and his Brilliance also means he has Egomaniacal tendency – which means (to me) that President Trump considers him an asset, BUT there is no question about exactly WHO is in charge.
Bannon relies on his online presence and revels in the past limelight of “most powerful person” in the room. At the end of the day —- who is President Trump AND his family listening to? A podcaster who has never held a job for more than a couple of years? OR the Brilliant Tech Giant that bought Twitter, changed it from the Democrat Machine, can fly to the Moon or Space Station and invented StartlinK that can connect those with ZERO internet into online communities? The Richest man in the world.
A lot to learn about Elon Musk and his intent, but we already KNOW about Bannon and his divisive rhetoric — unfortunately for him, against the Trump Family.
Point is — do we still Support President Trump? I do
Do we allow a has been like Bannon to divide supporters? I choose NO
Do we at the very least – allow President Trump to be inaugurated & see what happens next? Makes sense to me – But, that’s just me.
Learn to be transactional. We can support the truth about this thing without buying into the other things.
This looks like a play of some kind – a performance. But, if these two want to do a cage match, I’ll watch. I might fall asleep if the match goes more than one round.
The reason Bannon is panicking is we have 18 months, that’s all, to do everything.
After that nothing gets done in Congress while they run for reelection and it’s likely that the Dems take over the House in 2026.
C’est fini at that point.
If the elections are cleaned up in 18 months and we pass legislation outlawing mail in ballots and ballot harvesting (i.e. ONE citizen is ONE vote), I think MAGA can easily gain seats in the house.
The last mid-term had a raft full of Republican representatives resign for no obvious reason. It was almost as though they were blackmailed into doing so by three letter agencies who have been stockpiling blackmail information illegally. If that fetid swamp is drained, there is no reason for another disastrous midterm election for MAGA.
No, they weren’t blackmailed by 3 letter agencies.
Just like the 40 that chose not to run in 2018, the did what Congressional Uniparty leadership told them to do.
I’d venture that this is more about Bannon’s ego than gettimg things done. Likes the Influencer image. Missing it.
I’d be interested to know what programme the Democrats will be running on, to win this victory, because they themselves seem a bit confused at the moment. Any retreat from the policies that lost them the election will trigger a civil-war that was simply delayed from 2020, when they should have lost. By cheating, all they managed to do was make the eventual reckoning far worse.
The best they can hope for is that Trump kills the progressive aberration for them, but that will mean he is even more popular than now and will ride a cultural wave to hold the House in 2026. This momentum will probably be reinforced by evidence of just how corrupt and the Democrats were, further reducing people’s enthusiasm. You can almost write the copy for the RNC 2028 adverts. ‘Democrats and their friends lied to you about, x, y and z, what makes you think they aren’t lying now?’
The RINOS will do their best to throw the game but, even then, will it be enough to stop the Trump train, recently refuelled from a string of pledges made, pledges kept? I’m not into hopium, copium so this is an honest question, received wisdom is that 2026 presents a serious obstacle to MAGA’s continued progress, why assume the Democrats will have the electoral advantage then?
Ufff…Bannon hasn’t let go. That Honey Badger will not stop. Trump needs to get them in a room and air it out. He needs both of them.
President Trump doesn’t need Egor Musk or Steve Bannon.
President Trump needs to listen to We the American people that hired him.
I would like our PRIMARY FOCUSES to be:
1) closing the borders
2) deporting the illegals (all of them)
3) stopping illegal drug and human trafficking (and state and federal sanctioned drug and human trafficking)
4) the immediate release of J6 prisoners (what Trump does with this will speak VOLUMES)
5) stopping the indoctrination and mind control of our children immediately and enforce performance-based learning for basic competencies and critical thinking
6) honoring our CONSTITUTIONAL GOD-GIVEN RIGHTS
7) making pedophilia and those that participate – disappear forever off the face of this earth
8) giving no shelter or aide to treasonous criminals
9) enforce America-protecting laws
10) enforce American-protecting laws
11) become energy independent (again)
12) become self-sufficient and the primary producer of American-made, quality workmanship, goods and services
13) protect our farm land, growers, and producers of our national nourishment
14) protect our water and quality
15) protect our mineral rights
16) equal and just law for all
17) safe, proactive, and trustworthy healthcare
18) Make being a doctor, judge, firefighter, police officer, politician, business leader, and school teacher honorable again
GOD HELP US ALL.
All Maga folk support these issues, but you cannot ignore a policy that supports hiring immigrant labor over Americans.
It was an issue in the 2016 election and it will continue to be an issue because it attacks the ideals behind the MAGA agenda.
Part and parcel to making America great again is the support of policies that bring jobs back to the American middle class laborer. This is the issue.
For sure – but why focus on the H1B issue? Its soooooooo much smaller than the 30 million coming across wholesale.
The border is being handled separately and I won’t be told where I can focus.
I read that more as a question than a direction, but that’s just me.
H1b is a legal hole in the fence to be exploited. There is a dozen more. It’s a comprise after 50 years of compromise which has led us to this point. It is never enough for our overlords. I don’t have anywhere to run to. I have no refuge to send my grandchildren to. I am a stranger in a strange land because our over lords have demanded it for 30 pieces of silver.
Because it doesn’t represent the MAGA agenda, that’s why.
Both my daughters have engineering degrees. One is specifically in Computer Engineering. She is the one most likely to lose her job to a foreigner on this visa.
She is very smart and always loved science and math. She worked very hard to get that degree. My husband and I are middle class, but we still had to have her take some student loans to pay her tuition. Her loans do not qualify for Biden’s fake “loan forgiveness” program. But that’s ok. We are in a better financial place now and can help her make payments. They will be paid off in June.
There are many more families with situations like ours. In fact, it is more the norm than the exception. Both parents working, living financially responsible lives, just wanting to give their kids a leg up in this world.
There is nothing “America first” about those visas.
H1b visas were NEVER an issue during the campaign.
NOW, they dominate and there is a reason for that – it isn’t pretty
I repeat – I’m not at all a fan of bigotry or Ethnic shaming.
Apparently, neither is X – which is why a few lost blue checks and Blocks due to Community standards. They all had a chance to refute and didn’t.
“Part and parcel to making America great again is the support of policies that bring jobs back to the American middle class laborer. This is the issue.”
Easier said than done, but yes, this is the core issue that needs to be front and center in any discussion about America’s future.
100%
#1 would be making our elections, fair, honest and cheat-proof
accomplishing that would help cross many items off your well thought out list
#7 is going to require the death penalty, I think.
Treason, Murder, Rape, or any crime of a sexual nature committed against a minor ………
Death, after one appeal, no announced date.
Protect our health care medicines system from poisons, politics and profiteers.
Protect our food from harmful ingredients.
Protect our right to hearing and speaking truth – ban deception in media, advertising, medicine, food, construction, and all other areas that have been prone to deception.
.
Yeah. He takes it personally and emotionally because he got into the U.S. via H1-B.
I wish everyone would calmtf down. Musk isn’t being put in charge of this issue, nor is it on the table for immediate action.
.
I’m deadly calm.
“He takes it personally and emotionally because he got into the U.S. via H1-B.”
No, he did not. He had a J-1 student visa.
.
Picky picky picky. He got to STAY in the U.S. with H1B after dropping out of school.
.
Who gives a rats rectal region, I’m expected to ignore what he was foolish enough to put in print for the world to read?
Guess I’m just being emotional over a given topic, like being told to F myself by some out of touch, prissy soy boy immigrant. Good luck Igor.
.
Are you a leftist snowflake who gets “triggered” by how someone expresses himself? Aw…
.
Says the Latrine Lawyer. Awww.
I agree. There are so many critical issues to get solved immediately and this H1B issue can be taken care of after the most critical issues are worked on. Just Deporting millions of illegals will require so much time, effort and money but it needs to be near the top of the list as a priority.
Time to take a step back on H1B and keep things in line as far as what to tackle first. H1B is not top of the list and we had better stop using our energy and action towards it until later. It will come up eventually and there are laws in place to fix it that are being violated right now. Give it a rest and move on to the top priority items. We don’t have a ton of time to get some of these things fixed or at least contained.
ah – but the entire Controversy is SOOOOO convenient for some.
You are correct – H1b was not an issue during the Campaign.
ILLEGAL immigration, Open Borders was (and is) a HUGE issue.
Reflect on who/what/WHY this is suddenly front page news (at least of sites like this)
.
WHY this is suddenly front page news…
Oh… maybe someone’s outside MAGA have ulterior motive to spin up the naive? Spin up those who are, albeit understandably, a bit paranoid, or suspicious, or afraid they will be hurt or “betrayed” again, black and white thinkers who don’t understand how Trump negotiates in and around vipers…
.
That isn’t 100% accurrte, and Elon knows it isn’t the truth.
It is not his place to set immigration policy.
Someone please help me understand why the conflict, and why now?
Is one of the characters a wolf and the other a sheep, both wolves, what?
The whole H1B program is a scam
Do some research on the details about the program – in simple terms it provides cheap labor – and almost all are not “the best”
just use this search H1B visa scam
.
That doesn’t answer the “why NOW”. The issue is not yet ripe for action. There are only so many minutes in a day and other things to do first.
.
It is part of the whole “immigration” discussion and how much of all these visa programs end up being part of the ILLEGAL Immigration problem – H1B- student – ETC – and denying AMERICAN CITIZENS jobs
As an example, Disney brought in a bunch of H1B – then made the American workers train them before they were fired – let go
the reports I have read say they are paid approx 40% less than the workers they are “replacing” and the companies get tax benefits – no employer social security/medicare taxes
Correct. No matter who is at the helm, the ship GOP seems to find a way to have her decks awash.
It is, and it is just plain wrong to get the dirty rackets going.
Ask Elon & Vivek why they brought it up to rub in our faces.
Elon and Vivek were CLEARLY WRONG – the USA Education system is the very best in the world. We don’t believe in a Trophy for Everyone. We don’t celebrate Equity & DEI programs over Education . We don’t think the Prom Queen is more important than at the Valedictorian in a High School graduation class or the College Football Captain is more important than the STEM programs in College. That Teacher Unions RULE our School Systems.
They are totally wrong – everyone knows that.
.
Egos.
.
Because the “tech” people running things have demanded more more more foreign replacements for Americans, and President Trump has caved to them.
.
How has Trump caved? He isn’t in office yet and hasn’t done anything on the issue.
Maybe… and I realize this might sound nasty to some… Trump wants to string these guys along to get what they do have to offer, and “consider” their wants later.
(Demurring and deflecting with vague positive comments, and leaving it for “later” negotiation becomes more and more difficult to do while the base carries on demanding affirmative statments of absolutism for an issue with loads of details that’s not currently on the table.)
.
Hi Dan. In response to our question … I listen to Bannon’s Warroom almost every morning, and have from day one. Bannon has no use for Musk and has made that clear since before he (Musk) bought Twitter. My sense is that Bannon’s intense dislike for Musk has to do primarily with Musk’s involvement (whatever that may be) with the Chinese Communist Party. The theme song for the Warroom is “Take Down the CCP.” It’s another of Bannon’s passions – he’s an avid CCP hater. He was relatively quiet about Musk when Musk hitched his wagon to PDJT, but the H1B visa brouhaha has lit another fire under him.
In addition, within the last couple of weeks, Bannon seems to have reverted to his pre-prison persona, but on steroids. He’s ranting endlessly and obsessively, and his guests are barely getting a word in. I’m tuning him out quite a bit because I don’t understand what’s provoking his over-the-top behavior of late.
I don’t pretend to understand what drives either Bannon or Musk, so these are just my observations of Bannon. Musk put me off with both his position on H1B’s, and pretty much everything he’s done since then. I no longer trust his intentions.
Sundance has also warned about Musk’s CCP/China affiliations.
YES and very effectively – It’s working out GREAT
Excellent summary, thank you.
It’s Convenient
🤷♀️ And just the other day I heard a comment
about how Meloni (Italy) has a crush on Musk.🤣
And now I hear that Bannon was trash talking
Musk in…Italy!
For some reason I feel like I am watching a
mean girls soap opera.🤢
OBAMA, Trump, where was MICHELLE? Elensky, crazy to drop the ball now. MELONI defends Musk
👆 👆 Alex Christoforu….Rumble
I don’t mind keeping some heat on about H1B. If our people don’t have jobs and the means to jobs, what’s the point?
I am so sick and tired of those who say that the alliance with musk is what won the election. That is stupid and without merit. The patriotic American voter actually are the voters who voted for Trump. I am sorry, musk is not the reason that Trump won. Elon came in late, helped immensely, but Trump would have won without elon musk.
And so when do Americans bury caution just because there is an appearance of some kind of alliance? I did not make an alliance with elon or vivek. Please. It is OK to appreciate elon for the good things that come our way, but to sell our soul to make sure the ‘good’ things keep rolling is kinda hypocritical.
Those who have been raised in a foreign country have a track record of kinda not being able to understand our form of government. That is obvious with the h1b issues plus a few more.
If MAGA is fractured over Elon Musk, then MAGA is a sham of a patriotic organization that is trying to restore the Republic. Sometimes we are forced to halt, take a step backwards, or sideways. But that is part of the reconstruction. There are some red flags that swirl around Elon Musk, and Vivek and others. We must never assume they have our best interest at heart.
Elon Musk is a super egotistical, immature, wealthy, powerful individual who is capable of causing great damage to any governing body…without all the drama that comes with the 3 letter agencies. He just starts with his sarcastic attacks, based mostly on truth. He thought he could force the h1b issue to continue to his advantage. When he got push back (not from government types) from We The People, he really got pissed off. He actually posted at one point he did not like the concept of the Constitutional Representative Republic. He told us to go F ourselves in the face and then threatened to squash us like we have never experienced, and said we were retards. And then started with the modified X apps.
So spare me the love affair with Elon Musk. He is a micro manager. I would appreciate it if Trump would distance himself from such individuals. They are only after the power on their dollar terms and the power it brings…hummm, seems like a monster we all call George Soros.
Bannon is not too far off base. He is a brute, noisey, messy guy. He is not trying to rule the planet. One can learn all kinds of historical data from him. He is not perfect. And he is not afraid of the likes of Elon Musk, or the USA government. I prefer my representatives and advisors actually born in America types, but that is just me.
Thank you Sundance for posting the article. One can never be exposed to too much information. Blessings.
Well said
Where are the tea party conservatives like Sarah Palin. Too. Many swamp lite and democrats picked for positions. I was hoping for better this time around
I guess we are doomed! If only Kamala had won things would be so much better.
Correct?
For me, while I don’t completely trust Musk and realize any billionaire with his hands in multiple entities is going to have an agenda, I do wonder where Bannon comes off as the gate keeper on what is and isn’t allowed. While he’s obviously walked the walk with his own lawfare experiences, it’s not like he has 100% track record on being right.
It seems to me that this sort of public infighting and unnecessary drama is something Trump intends to avoid over the next 6 months. This kind of public declaration isn’t helpful and my gut says it’s not likely to end well for Steve.
.
Who DOESN’T have an “agenda”?
.
The man who just wants to be left alone.
.
Isn’t that an agenda?
.
No, you’re welcome.
Bannon went to far on this. Conservative reform is the best way forward on anything Visa.
Bannon is Bannons worst enemy.
Bannon has always been a little too prone to getting in a fight, and thinking he has more clout than he has.
Methinks he loses this one.
I totally agree.
Sad if he does, because the HS1B visas are diametrically opposed to the MAGA agenda.
The problem is not Musk but Trump’s latest statement on the topic.
Bannon has a loud voice and a big media megaphone to voice it, and the more Trump avoids the conflicting message, the more Bannon has a duty to voice it. I personally agree with Bannon on this issue, and it will not go away.
I’m confident that we totally understand your position.
Good. Just one question, are you MAGA?
Question- re :
“Apparently, Steve Bannon was talking to media in Italy and said some rather confrontational things about Elon Musk.”
What is this source ? —- What media ?
It was mentioned above in the original post. Quite a number of mainstream media here in the US picked it up also. I believe the name is Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.
my point is the article just says he said these things to Italian media – that is my quote from the post
What and when and the specific media ???????
Glad you asked….wondering the same.
Steve Bannon calls out Musk , an effective way to keep the H1B1 Visa issue on the front burner. Bannon knows how to fight and I think Ramaswamy and Musk have shown us all where their priorities lie and what they think of the American worker.
They are Americans, but in their gut they don’t believe in the American worker. They are about making money and cutting labor cost is part of that thinking.
Bannon is 100% right on the visa issue, and President Trump is 100% wrong.
First they shipped many of the decent factory jobs overseas; then they replace USA workers with imported non-USA workers. If President Trump can’t see this for what it is, then he is blind.
Did you ever hear the words, “America will become a service economy”?
I always wondered who decided that.
.
Maybe read “Art of the Deal” and see where it says (not) that right off the bat you should tell the person you are negotiating with for stuff that you want that in the end they aren’t going to get what they want, tell them to go to hell, and don’t get the deal.
.
I agree completely. The inconsistent messaging from Trump on this doesn’t help.
Yes, he is on H1B1. He should have just stuck with that.
But how stupid and disingenuous was it to bring racism into the mix to smear Musk and Thiel? Why?
This is the low grade crap we are all tired of, usually being doled out by the left.
Bannon is a liability, and on a long enough timeline he ends up biting all his own peeps in the proverbials.
That’s really the problem with President Trump – Correct?
He is so “100% Wrong”
Kamala would have been so 100% RIGHT
Bannon understands most of the critical MAGA facts but he frequently has trouble articulating his positions and trying to sound resolute and strong without often coming off as obnoxiously untactful….
IOW, his mouth gets in the way of his message.
And Musk did the same thing with his rant against American workers while defending his pro H-1B position. (Open mouth, insert foot).
Trump’s supporters do him more hatm than the Democrats. So many egos.
President Trump will set his priorities, and he will expect the people working for him to support those and to make nice with each other.
With his long-standing support of American workers, it is hard for me to imagine he will let the H1B situation fester for very long. It may not be solved by January 21, but I suspect he will move in the direction of favoring American citizens for American jobs.
There’s just a little over a week until celebration time. Please pray for President Trump’s safety and that of his family.
Of course. IMO, President Trump knows *exactly* what he is doing.
Sometimes a little friction is a good thing, but forming up circular firing squads is a loser. Both guys have their good and bad.
President Trump is the leader, follow his lead.
We need practical, functional unity although I do not trust musk.
Me thinks Bannon is going to lose this fight.
Neither man loses, we lose.
Without defending a broken H1B system, I will say that too many American college boys and girls want the big money of tech without having the aptitude or the work ethic to compete.
Maybe a smaller brush next time?
Musk and Ramiswampy both went WAY to hard on the H1B thing two weeks ago, then shut up about it after the swift backlash it created in the MAGA movement. Now I think Bannon has gone WAY too hard in his war with Elon.
I don’t entirely trust Elon either but he has lately been a net positive for the MAGA side. But I agree with Bannon that he needs to be kept at arm’s length from the Whitehouse. He was hired with his indian friend to cut government down, not to make it easier for even more foreigners to get let in the back door and turn the American Tech industry into the India Tech industry.
America, and Americans first is the foundation that Trump has built his movement on for the last 9 years and must continue to be that foundation going forward. I certainly don’t envy Trump having to referee this battle, but if anyone can, it’s him.
The results from DOGE will go through Russ Vought at the OMB. Musk and Vivek have no executive power on their own.
From what I’ve seen, Russ Vought is solid and one of the bright spots in the incoming roster.
He will keep a weather eye on what from DOGE will work and what will not.
Bannon has stated his concern many times of the relationship Elon has with the CCP.
He probably fears the camel’s nose getting under the tent.
This is plain dumb.
Who the hell does Bannon think he is?
Great leaders use the talents that are available to them to accomplish their goals and divert or block the hubris and activities that detract from those goals..
Exactly right!
hehehehe… that’s the one thing I like about Bannon. He’s just not afraid. And I feel the same way about Musk. Musk needs to go populate Mars with H1B visa holders.
Maybe Tucker Carlson could moderate a debate between Bannon and Musk.
THAT would be interesting.
If the American education system was up to par with the rest of the world, H1B would not be necessary. American public schools are weak and pathetic.
“Apparently, Steve Bannon was talking to media in Italy and said some rather confrontational things about Elon Musk.”
Steve forget to bring along his medications for the trip? Maybe too much Chianti with the calamari…….
I understand his frustration with Musk, but wouldn’t it be better to hammer out their differences in private, and then present a true force of unity to the public? Or maybe this is all a ruse to draw attention away from whatever Trump has planned. Take advantage of the media’s lack of multi tasking abilities.
he did not make any trip to Italy
Medications or elixir. Bannon has problems with people whose influence is based on accomplishment. It’s just a complex he has.
Steve used the R word at Elon! Thats desperate.
I’m LOLing that anyone thinks this is an authentic, genuine, off-the-cuff attack vs contrived manipulation.
Think.
Bannon is going to create a problem for PDJT, without talking to him about it, first? Right before the inauguration??
Ummm…..no.
“I’m with Musk on this one.”
”I’m with Bannon on this one.”
LMAO at the idea of anyone choosing sides on “this one”.
Well, Bannon IS an asshole, blowhard that got fired for getting wasted/drunk, and calling up a reporter and bad mouthing PDJT’s kids.
So yes, entirely possible he didn’t check with PDJT first, and if he had PDJT would have told him to shut up.
Possible, yes.
Probable? No.
Uhhh, yes. Because Bannon can’t stand not being in charge. I just think less of Bannon than Bannon thinks of Musk. He gets worse with time. I can’t listen to the man.
The tech companies swear this isn’t about cheap labor, so charge a $200,000 fee every year for each visa, paid into the social security fund.
The disheartening part of this post is Bannon assumes Trump won’t keep MAGA promises. Bannon is accusing our VSG of being
so stupid and gullible that he’ll do whatever Elon wants.
Oh boy.. here we go . Fully understand his frustration too many foreigners with too much of a say in our policies
“Cheeto Jesus”?
You refer to President Trump as “Cheeto Jesus”?
Not trying to provoke anything, are you?
🎯
I think Bannon is correct. Musk tried to buy the Presidency… FORGETABOUTIT
Musk and the TechBros will come back to bite us in the butt. Even sundance has predicted this.
“Come back to bite us in the butt”.
A welcome twist on the currently over used appeal to fears phrase, “OMG, mark my words, they’re gonna stab us in the back, y’all”.
Notice:
the implied ability to accurately predict the future?
the attempt to inject fear about the future?
the use of a common deveivers (including self deceivers) tactic; a Logical Fallacy Appeal to Authority?
As the bible repeatedly warns, plus real life, including DJTs actions and words, affirm…..
“If you are WITH ME, sayeth The Lord, FEAR NOTHING.”
I don’t fear the neighbors poorly trained off leash pitbulls, I know that if they get the chance to maul my cats they will. The dogs and their masters are the problem.
Why don’t they create those floating islands made of plastic garbagebergs and declare a country called TechLand. They could capture those stinking seaweedbergs and have golfing greens. Their mission should be to capture icebergs to tow them to places that need fresh water. Then they can go populate Mars.
We took his money but we damn sure don’t need his transhumanism!~
or Dark Enlightenment world view that places technocrat oligarchs in god-like positions and the elimination of the basic rights foiund in the Constitution and Magna Carte. Remember this guy is into singularity, warns against AI but is aggressively developing Grok. And that neural link is something that needs oversight, testing and regulation.
“We damn sure dont need his transhumanism”.
Notice the plural pronoun ” we” was used rather than speaking for oneself by using the singular pronoun?
“we” == ????
“we” definitely =/= me
For those who fell prey to this divide-and-conquer fear and hate psyop bait, a hopefully helpful reminder:
surgeries are elective
including, organ transplants and tech inserts like hip replacements
Plus, no matter what one chooses to do or not do and no matter how long ones lives, in the blink of an eye EVERYONE d ies.
Obviously, many believe this d eath doesn’t have to be fatal.
Yes! Indeed. And those “many believers” already have a name…wanna take a guess?
hint: starts with Christ__ns
Believers never die. We are quickened already and forever.
“We the people.”
Does that help you?
You sure love to preach and condescend.
One may not be given a choice. We were not given the choice whether or not to be exposed to the COVID bioweapon. We also were not given the choice whether or not to be exposed to the shedding of spike protein by those who did choose to get the jabs. There is evidence that both have introduced nanotech components into our bloodstreams that are programmed to build microelectronic structures. This technology can be introduced in other ways such as via drugs or possibly even via the air; so, unless you are okay with ingesting such technology without your knowledge or consent, I would say “we” definitely == you.
“I think Bannon is correct”.
Opinion noted.
Also noted….
there is only ONE person who was just chosen by Americans to be their:
President. Leader. Ultimate Decider and Commander.
That ONE person =/= Bannon.
That ONE person /= Donald J Trump….
DJT == the ONE person who, as an historical aside, copyrighted the word MAGA in 2012 to describe HIS Save America MAGA Project.
#ImWithHim
Hopefully most Americans are, or soon will be.
Hopefully Steve will, as /pol/ used to say, ” check himself before he wrecks himself” and also wrecks his, perhaps aptly named, followers.
Consequently, hopefully people are not just noting what’s being said and then tuning them out but instead but instead they’re also praying for all current year Pied Pipers and Judas Goats.
.
just wondering why there weren’t any write in votes for Bannon, amazing.
Steve Bannon, like all Americans, reserves the right to speak his mind about any subject he desires. Doing so is not a zero sum outcome of support vs non support. We can speak our opinions and still support the overall mission of President Trump. He is human and therefore fallible. He is also our employee. As one who runs companies, I reserve the right to monitor and or develop any employee under my supervision. It’s no different for employees in government.
What worries me is the multitude of people who seem to follow Pres. Trump as a cult-like figure who has been commissioned by God and accept everything he says and does without questioning his motives, or ascribing it to him playing 3-D chess or some other super power. As Pres. Reagan often said, trust but verify. If someone does and says things that go against MAGA principles – or far more importantly against the teachings of Jesus Christ – they must be sent to the cornfield.
You should care about the Constitution and your liberties more than you do about Donald Trump.
I voted for him just like you.
We also voted against FISA 702 violations and someone who defends our Constitution and the 4th Amendment at all costs.
We also voted for a President who has stated many times that in order to Make an America great again we must bring jobs back to the American middle class. Not immigrants via visas to replace the similar qualified American.
Stop pretending that things are not happening right before our eyes to make us question DJT and his new administration.
It may be necessary to pretend to be for FISA 702 in order to get into an office that gives one the power to negate it. I’m with you, but I’n in a holding pattern until things start playing out.
Agree, Lisa. And the one key factor that pops up in my head at scenarios like this . . . is Trump’s stellar 5D chess expertise! 🙂
Many are still stunned by Trump’s support comment for well-known RINO, Karrin Taylor Robson’s possible run for AZ’s governor. It took minutes for several respected MAGA supporters and politicians at this event to tweet Robson’s Leftist background . . . not to mention the audience’s immediate loud ‘boos’ at his comment. And a popular local talk show host detailed her ‘far-Left’ background – Robson financially supported Kari Lake’s opponent for AZ’s senate run, Ruben Gallego!
