Eh, this could get messy.
Apparently, Steve Bannon was talking to media in Italy and said some rather confrontational things about Elon Musk.
(CP) “I will have Elon Musk run out of here by Inauguration Day,” Bannon told the Italian daily Corriere della Sera this week. “He will not have a blue pass to the White House, he will not have full access to the White House, he will be like any other person.”
“He is a truly evil guy, a very bad guy. I made it my personal thing to take this guy down,” Bannon added. “Before, because he put money in, I was prepared to tolerate it; I’m not prepared to tolerate it anymore.”
[…] “This thing of the H-1B visas, it’s about the entire immigration system is gamed by the tech overlords, they use it to their advantage, the people are furious,” Bannon said, noting that “76 percent of engineers working in Silicon Valley are non-Americans.”
[…] “Peter Thiel, David Sachs, Elon Musk, are all white South Africans,” Bannon said. “He should go back to South Africa. Why do we have South Africans, the most racist people on earth, white South Africans, we have them making any comments at all on what goes on in the United States?” (source)
This is like watching two Rams butt heads.
At the end of the day, thankfully Donald Trump is not Nikki Haley. Optimal solutions.

Bannon needs to take a chill pill. Results matter more than ideology.
I tend to agree with him, but for everything there is a season….yikes…
Bannon didn’t start this fight. Elon & Vivek did & they’re responsible for the timing.
Practice a little root cause analysis.
Done already….I’m pretty good at it. I am very aware of the root cause. However, the response could have been handled more tactfully. There is a time and place for everything. This may not have been the best time for truth by 2×4.
I’m blessed to make a decent living doing it.
Musk practiced his diplomacy with a 2×4 so why would we hit back with pom pons?
Trump and Bannon each love their hyperbole 😆
BIG TIME!
I agree with Bannon. Musk is letting his true colors shine.
People are still being shadow banned on Twitter for saying nothing at all offensive.
He is a fraud, and people forget he’s voted for Democrats his whole life until now. Why?
I agree with Bannon as well. Sundance has laid out very clearly the agenda for a surveillance state. The tech guys all want in on the money to be made doing it.
Bannon spent time in jail because of his stand! His love for America is unquestionable. Musk is an opportunist. I don’t trust him or his agenda.
DD
Next man up.
I like this statement – it means we ALL have to be ready to fight at any time for America First. The visa issue is something we all should agree on – what could be more MAGA than this? Elon has shown that his support for MAGA ends where his business begins, and from the vile statement he made re Trump supporters he has shown how immature and self-indulgent he is. He is in need of a sit-down with President Trump if Trump has the courage to do it – and I believe he does even tho he won’t like doing it. What else will Musk do to derail the Trump train?
There is definitely still shadow-banning on Twitter. I am still FAR down from the followers I had before I was kicked off with Trump.
Hi Sidney
Between the “legal” muzzles and the bans staying visible has to be an uphill battle, I wear my Saving the Republic long sleeve T Shirt proudly and often (incredible Quality)
We are living through the world of strange bed fellows. There are those who’s interest intersect with MAGA and that is the depth of their commitment. The problem with the Tea Party movement was it was leaderless and grifters would come and go and never be called out.
Trump seems to have had no problem working with intersecting interests allowing them to feed at the edges and then cutting them loose if they became a liability to MAGA. This election was won not on the wallets of the late comers but on the blood sweat and tears of Trump and the grassroots.
I would love to find out just how many Ballot operation were shut down or never rose up because of the bust in Michigan, the fear that Trump put in the air and the million grass roots snoops sniffing around.
Totally off peoples radar is the diminished pool of summer soldiers on the left. Young men who never participated, didn’t care and were for sale. As they considered Trump they were met with the hard reality that in their precinct who they voted for was out of their control and suddenly it mattered
.
I am hoping we see many more fair weather friends. Some will be dragged in by the Bullrings of former corruptions. Some of those will be beyond legal reach but no one wants their dirty laundry aired. Its a sewer in DC. We don’t need to be nice, just try our best to be virtuous

Personally I am going to look for some new Merch
My sincerest Respect
Jim
A South African does not hold American values like true freedom of speech in high regard.
I was just reading this earlier. Totally agree with Bannon. Bannon reminded me yesterday, how the Great SF fire was the cataolist of the 1907 Bank run and JP Morgan having to step in. It resulted in the Jackal Island Club and the Fed. There is a lot more afoot here, then again there usually is.
I agree. Musk is a Trojan Horse.
He has been welcomed through the gates via being given the exceptionally high profile job of DOGE co-chair.
Yes, I was reminded again this morning watching Faith & Freedom with Shemane Nugent that this gentle Christian woman is permanently BANNED from X since before Musk bought Twitter. Cashier him now with extreme prejudice.
Why should he? You have a globalists tech oligarch buy himself into the moment and immediately goes about pushing an agenda at odds with the base like he owns the place.
Bannon came back after New Years and after we had the two NYE attacks, all he could talk about was the HB1 visas. The HB1 visas were not even in the top 5 of what MAGA cared about and it still isn’t. He wants to make that his priority? We have the budget reconciliation and debt ceiling, the cabinet nominees to get confirmed and fixing the economy and immigration issues, not to mention J6 pardons and reversing Biden’s EOs. I’m not saying HB1 visas don’t deserve getting looked at, but there’s a lot more I’m more concerned with. Why is Bannon making this his personal battle?
Wrong, hiring immigrant labor is diametrically opposed to the MAGA agenda
. MAGA was all about bringing back more jobs to the American middle class, so I don’t see how hiring cheap immigrant labor over Americans can in anyway be seen as a nonissue.
Until your job is replaced by a H1B visa employee, then you’ll change your tune.
President Trump’s slogan’Hire American Buy American’
Read that 70% of all truckers are now foreign also. THIS MUST STOP!
Wonder what % are uninsured motorists.
Trump can walk and chew gum at the same time. Rest assured MAGA does care about the visas -very much. It is a core issue for MAGA as Elon learned the hard way. If Trump is not going to put Americans first in ALL areas of our lives, then what was all the fuss about?
The visa scandal needs more than looking at. It’s a real issue for real republicans.
This hot the news day after Christmas and after decades it’s ABOUT TIME – Trump dabbled for 5 minutes in his first term on H1B and caved and did NOTHING. Elon and Vivek and the AI Guy started this. We just responded. We’ve ALWAYS cared about it. And we care about all the hotel and fishery and trucker jobs being given to foreigners too. Sure we know about the illegals taking los level jobs but the quasi “legal” H2B and H1B are just as important and need a “big beautiful soapbox” too!
Steve Bannon has always been a loud proud, in your face, Trump/MAGA, America 1st brawler.
Steve Bannon brought millions of verified, certified, America 1st. American citizens to the Party and the Polls.
Elon Musk doesn’t have his Trump/MAGA, America 1st. bona fides.
Bannon knows it. Trump knows it.
That’s why Elon, had to buy an invitation to the Trump/MAGA, America 1st. Party.
Elon is the one who needs the chill pill.
He got his invitation to party and mingle w/ Trump/MAGA , America 1st.
Now we know His cash ain’t noth’in but trash. We would have won without it anyways.
And his intelligence just insulted all those millions of verified, certified Trump/MAGA, America 1st American citizens who know damn well H1 B visa don’t MAGA and they sure in the heck aren’t America 1st.
Swing Away Bannon!
A bunch of high school mean girls.
On the school playground, this used to be called “flexing”…
Pay-per-view cage match. Proceeds go toward purchasing Greenland!
And the “mean Tweeter” is the biggest flexxer of them all
The foreign visa worker pipeline is diametrically opposed to MAGA.
Mine & my fellow citizens ability to to live & work in the nation bequeathed to us rather than subsidizing indentured servants for the oligarchy is worthy of so much more than a trite “mean girls” commentary.
It’s a worthy hill to die on.
I hear you sister! H1 B visas don’t put America 1st and they won’t MAGA.
I don’t like the flippant comments and the juvenile attitudes either.
3 generations of my family and others have paid their taxes to built the town, roads schools and colleges we call home. Intel moved in tax free promising jobs, jobs, jobs. My college educated cousin couldn’t get a summer job or internship in his home town at Intel because all their employment opportunities were filled by H1 B foreign workers!
Trump worked long and hard and sacrificed so much to unite us. He isn’t going to allow Musk to divide us,especially over the issue of immigration.
Amen sister
As I stated earlier on ‘X’, While I have always had some nagging doubts about Musk (Big Tech issues, mainly) I am a fan and he gets things done. I am not sure exactly where Bannon expects to go with this, but he does have a point about a group of ‘foreigners’ banding together to hijack the movement, (and that includes J.D). I would, however, rather everyone realize that we are all, at least at the present time, on the same team and need to pull the MAGA train together. Let’s get the first year rolling, make what allowances we need to in order to: 1. Survive; 2. Get Trump agenda items in the books. As we go, we can sort out all of this angst and shed those who truly do not have American First in their DNA. God Bless the USA
Perhaps Musk is flawed but can be used while he is useful . . . until he isn’t
In other words, let’s follow Tulsi’s lead.
….”“He is a truly evil guy, a very bad guy. I made it my personal thing to take this guy down,” Bannon added. “Before, because he put money in, I was prepared to tolerate it; I’m not prepared to tolerate it anymore.” “……
So money was all it took for Bannon to fold and shut up about a “truly evil guy” ???
?
Well it helps to win the election first, doesn’t it?
This is all he was saying because you didn’t hear Musk say anything controversial during the election?
Trump winning was priority number one. Musk’s money helped that happen.
And the millions of voters “too big to rig” didn’t help?
I remember Bannon didn’t like Elon Musk when he bought Twitter. He made fun of Darren Beattie when he got his blue check for his $8/mo. Then Bannon shut up when Musk got on board with Trump. Now Bannon has his very own blue check.
The discussion at the time was about the overpricing and the terms
No – Elon put his money where his mouth is (as the saying goes) which proved he was at least serious about his support for Trump. But that is not the question. The question is whether Elon even knows what this is all about. It is about jobs (good ones) for Americans and Americans only – not people from India.
Not sure it proves that
You may be oversimplifying
I honestly don’t know what Bannon’s angle is…he absolutely has major points on the H1B…in fact he is 100% correct on that issue…why be so confrontational? clearly DJT has a method to his Elon madness…is he trying to evoke a response from DJT to “pick a side”? I fear THAT won’t go too well…
Perhaps Bannon’s angle is to purposely drive a wedge between certain parts of the party. I don’t think all his intentions are good either. Worth watching…..
And BTW, who made him the White House gatekeeper?
Seems like hyperbole, a topic Trump is a bit familiar with
Oh heck, I cannot stand Elon-X-doesn’t-censor-and-we-are-not-like-Twitter-Musk…snake in the grass…you have a point…This is so over the top maybe Bannon is trying to provoke Musk into calling us retards again…
I think that’s right. No reason to do this now. Musk isn’t going to have anything to do with immigration, Stephen Miller will oversee all of that and he’s on our side. Let Musk do his government efficiency thing and attack the Labour party in England, and keep him on on the team so he’ll fund credible primary challengers to RINOs.
Didn’t PDJT just do a 180 & come out in favor of h1-b?
The time to fight it is right now.
That’s my BIG question!
Honestly, speaking for myself, I think a lot of it is his (mine too!) Irish Catholic heritage!
Don’t forget that Bannon is a Harvard MBA and a former Goldman Sachs investment banker.
Bannon makes his money today off his podcasts and media appearances. Driving controversy drives traffic and feeds his most loyal subscribers.
Bannon has his own financial motivations to light fires.
Musk is not completely trustworthy but neither is Bannon.
Both are uniquely skilled. Both can be very useful to Trump. Both can flip to being destructive to Trump in the blink of an eye.
<I honestly don’t know what Bannon’s angle is…>
He’s being obtuse here 🙂
well if he isn’t careful he will get a sharp response…:)
Acute comment from Michele 🙂
Isosceles what you did there!
It takes brass balls to directly confront the world’s richest man.
Musk likely views him as a has-been.
No it doesn’t. Just be honest.
–Everyone dies
–Can’t take money, power, or fame with you.
–Heaven is (or is supposed to be) our true home.
We need to stop chasing garbage.
Focus on:
1) God
2) Family
3) Country/Immediate societal structures.
He’s no better or worse than anyone here on TCT; more money doesn’t necessarily mean squat!
A cute reply with very acute analysis.
A reflexive response 🙂
😄
I am of the opinion that our feelings on immigration need to be heard very loud amd clear and persistently because I do not like Elon Musk labeling me and millions of others racists, and declaring war and censoring my speech on X. Trump has chosen to align with Musk and has shown support for H1B. Trump needs to hear how we feel . He needs us to support hir agenda and turn out to vote in 2026.
Illegal immigration is the type of immigration that is the most dangerous and the type I would focus on if I were Trump. When that’s addressed and being worked on, THEN work on HB1 visas.
We are quite capable of multitasking & the window of opportunity is 18 months. That’s it.
I really don’t think people see the true breadth of the white collar unemployment issue…the numbers have been fudged so badly that no one really sees how bad it really is…I work in recruiting and it is very very bad…Spend 5 minutes on LinkedIn and you will see so many stories of people losing their jobs…the H1B visa issue should be front and center in the MAGA agenda. I totally 100% agree with Bannon on this. He was the one who outed the Disney story years ago…it has only gotten worse…..for those saying it isn’t a key issue haven’t really been paying attention to white collar unemployment. The H1B isn’t only in the tech area. Trust me. It is abundant in every single industry. It is a true “replacement” agenda.
I agree, it is in every industry. I went to the ER this week and many nurses and Dr’s are foreign. Not sure if they were H1B . I had so many people asking me the same questions over and over again. Many talked too low for me to understand, got tired of asking them to speak louder!
Over half the Dr’s in my county are foreign and it is hard to communicate with them. Which is not good on my end., especially since I have kidney and dialysis issues going on.
So many new people and scammers have arrived here too. Hard to know who to trust!
A – Freaking – Men
He can do both at the same time.
Then Trump’s misinformed on H1B, with big beautiful rockets and billions of $ in his starry eyes
What has going along to get along done for us for the last 7+ decades?
I think Bannon’s “angle,” or a good portion of it, is his Irish Catholic heritage (ask me how I know; guilty as charged!)
Bannon should be a little more careful. Someone (he 0r Musk) is going to look like an ass no matter how his threat unfolds.
Well, I’m no Elon fan, nor do I like what the H1B visa does to American workers, however, Bannon should temper is criticism a bit unless there are some very serious red flags with Elon that he is not telling right now.
That was serious enough but do you think Bannon is unaware of the surveillance state, CBDCs or transhumanism?
This is why Bannon was kicked out of the WH the first time. He is a hot head who thinks too highly of himself. How dare he go overseas and make such a declaration about Elon Musk.
He is just jealous.
This is the wrong way to fight the H1B issue.
Crack in the armor….Think about it.
What’s Steve Bannon’s views on Charlie Kirk?
(I’m not asking for an answer… just asking folks… to think about it.)
Bannon and Kirk are allies and in agreement on H1B.
Charlie Kirk is RINO establishment. He’s NOT MAGA.
So what does this mean Musk is? He’s only voted for Democrats his whole life.
So TRUE JWoo!!!
Charlie went to the mat for Kari and she’s a bit battered and exhausted from two raucous campaigns against slithery forces. She went in another direction.
Who has the bigger head?
Elon Musk or Steve Bannon?
DJT
Bannon seems to forget who was elected president. This stuff is unseemly. And in Italy? The posturing is unmistakable. Won’t fly.
IMO he insults President Trump when he pulls this apcray.
Most definitely! It sounds like a direct attack on President Trump! And to do this in Italy is just unconscionable.
Has Bannon been assigned some position in President Trump’s administration that we haven’t heard about? I don’t think so.
He sounds like a very jealous ex-wife!
100% agree.
Why was he elected?
Because he supported and started the MAGA agenda which is all about bringing more jobs to the American middle class. The main way to do this is to stop illegal immigration and a moratorium on all immigration.
Do you think Musk cares one bit about hiring American engineers over the cheaper immigrant engineers?
I could say the same thing about Elon Musk.
And Elon cr@pping all over us and tossing “F*” bombs is seemly?
Who pi**ed in Bannon’s corn flakes?
Talk about making perfect the enemy of the good….Bannon doesn’t like Musk’s attitude on Visas, so he’s launching nukes?
Musk has done more to help get Trump back into power than most. The guy IS brilliant, and MOST of his ideas and stances are good.
Bannon on tne other hand? IMHO….more trouble than he’s worth.
Why do we need Musk who has voted for Democrats his whole life until now?
People still getting shadow banned on Twitter for saying nothing offensive. Look it up.
We can trust Bannon a whole lot more than a Tech magnate who has voted Democrat his whole life.
Because he currently holds the keys to the tech kingdom, which is our inevitable future. Like it or not. And he’s at least mostly on our side. I posted in another thread that the infamous Lisa Page is now working for the Kuiper project, which is the Bezos competitor to Musk in the satellite arena. Who would you rather have in charge of satellites? Lisa Page or Elon Musk? While the issues around tech and Musk, et al. are complex, at the end of the day, it really is that simple.
You let Musk stick with satellite technology and not MAGA policy, how about that?
And you refer to the tech kingdom that wants to enslave us one day, then you just made the argument stronger to be opposed to this lifelong Democrat voter and supporter.
Musk is still shadow banning people today for saying nothing offensive just political incorrectness. Is this the free speech you favor in your future tech world?
We can agree to disagree. But I want to make sure I was clear about three things, since your response suggests I wasn’t. Or maybe it’s just disagreement I’m seeing in your post.
One, satellite technology and MAGA policy are inextricably intertwined, as SD posts near daily.
Two, the tech kingdom is inevitable. It’s just a question of who will mostly run it and control it. The US (including Musk and/or some other American and/or European person or group of persons) or China/Russia. The technology is out there and rapidly developing and NO ONE will be able to stop it if the US doesn’t control it b/c China, for example, certainly isn’t constrained by human rights concerns!
Three, Musk himself makes some of the most politically “incorrect,” pro-MAGA and MAGA-consistent posts on X. He’s one heck of an evil genius if he doesn’t believe what he’s saying at all.
What I hear Sundance arguing for is a future Tech world that doesn’t enslave its citizens and never infringes on our liberties as individual citizens.
What do we have today? 4Th Amendment violations every day with 702 authorization with American citizens liberties are already infringed upon. Can you imagine what AI is going to bring to this world in the future if we don’t stand up for our rights. You might as well throw away our Constitution.
Fairly certain Sundance had an article just the other that basically said this is the hill he’s prepared to die on.
And what makes you think that men like Musk will defend our individual liberties and our Constitution?
He already uses his Twitter to shadow ban folks who just post politically incorrect statements. He voted for Democrats his whole life and was a past Bernie Sanders supporter.
Now he has stated that he supports the hiring of immigrant engineers over American engineers because his labor is cheaper. Doesn’t sound like he was ever MAGA to begin with?
Isn’t Musk very pro CCP?
He’s in their clutches
The South African believes “Freedom of Speech is not Freedom of Reach” – nice clean proud fair American values there, eh?
he’s at least mostly on our side
except for
wanting everyone to have a chip implanted in their heads that he controlswanting everyone to relinquish driving control of their cars to A.I. & The Governmentwanting everyone to have to sign in digitally (Real ID™) so their access to the internet is tracked 100%knowing climate change is a total scam but pushing it anyway.
and so much more . . .
Musk is a Trojan Horse
A Snake or a Scorpion?
“Until Now”.
It is said that none are so committed like the converted.
EG. —- like Donald J. Trump.
Oh yea I can just see Musk supporting the MAGA agenda like the converted Trump who started and invented the whole agenda. And if you go back and watch videos of Trump from 30 years ago, he sounds exactly the same then as he does today.
Musk on the other hand was a Bernie Sanders supporter.
Meh, I used to be pr0-choice and thought the MSM wasn’t pure propaganda, among many other things, I’m sure. People change.
Twitter hasn’t changed I can assure you, people are getting shadow banned every day primarily for saying anything negative about the government. Does this sound like free speech to you?
So excuse me if I’m not enthusiastic about folk like you who think Musk is all of a sudden going to bring in a future tech world that supports our individual liberties.
Most people demonstrate change through their actions.
100% agree. Immigration is the hill to die on for me and millions of others. We are sick and tired of it.
Musk is a liberal.
An on went to prison for 4 months for Trump
I thought he went to prison for ignoring a Congressional subpoena; all he had to do was show up and take the 5th for each question asked; notoriety and fake accolades from those who think “he went to prison for Trump” is, in its own right, quite the ego booster.
He did no such thing; he went to prison for brownie points to keep his audiences from asking questions such as, why did PDJT fire him? or what was his involvement with the guy who used the wall to raise money for his own self-enrichment? Those type of questions.
Musk isn’t tasked with making changes to the HIB program, has nothing to do with it, especially now that his side-kick Ramaswamy spilled the beans on the why and how the tech boys love that program. These two men are tasked for a 6-month period, to find ways to save money. That’s all.
All I see is Bannon has a jealousy problem. The manner in which Musk responds will let us know how big his jealousy ego problem is too. Popcorn time because this is going to get interesting.
Those first two paragraphs are loony.
No they aren’t. He and Navarro both could have simply complied with the subpoena and showed up to the Congressional hearing. They could have answered with ‘I don’t know” or “I refuse to answer based on my 5th Amendment rights.” It was their choice to push a Democrat led-witch hunt to jail them, and that’s exactly what happened.
Or, to expose the Demonrat-led witch hunt, which they did.
These are good points. We don’t need some egomaniac causing trouble now to try to get attention. Must won’t have anything to do with immigration, and we need him to fund primary challenges to RINOs. He’s very popular with young men and likely played a significant role in getting them to the polls last November.
Musk has also spent $44B on Twitter… with a Meta data cache worthy of being a national treasure. Albeit with Larry Ellison backing… but arrange it he did and through it revealed and solidified Sundance’s narrative of the deep states surveillance and manipulation.
Musk gave Starlink to the people affected by Helene immediately with a moments notice.
Musk gives us rocket ships that actually work and are reusable.
Musk is going to save the stranded astronauts on the international space station that Boeing is incapable of saving.
Musk understands, speaks, and codes artificial intelligence and wants responsible oversight of it.
I appreciate people who give us tangible deliverables and not just lip service that delivers NOTHING for the American people. The lip servers had their chance all along.. and what have they actually DONE except allow the DemonRats to trample all over us????
I also watch carefully who the establishment RINOs pile on to try to drive wedges, isolate, and to alienate out of productive narrative and action.
Talking to you, Vivek, Kirk, et al. Besides… who ALWAYS pulls the RACE CARD??? Who is always screaming raaaaaacist?
Lip servers? You mean like more honest media than the MSM?
Bannon didn’t start this. Go back to Christmas with Elon’s and Vivek’s vile statements.
It’s good that Bannon is keeping the H1-B issue front and center, especially given the short attention span of the average voter, but every issue doesn’t require it to be approached by a flame thrower. I agree that Musk is not to be trusted but Bannon needs to keep the attacks against Musk on the H1-B issue the other nonsense he says just distracts from his message.
When did H1B visas become part of Trump’s Agenda 47? When did it become a top 5 issue for voters in 2023? How about Trump work on the agenda he was elected on first without having to battle MAGA influencers like Bannon.
Where have you been? It was a big issue the first time Trump ran and won. Go back then and see what Trump said.
Bannon’s not wrong. I don’t mind a little oversight and criticism of Elon, TBH.
On the visa issue he is absolutely correct.
Steve Bannon’s macho crap is a liability.
We’ve been gifted to have a productive, pro-human, genius (Musk), who has his own agenda, but we will benefit in many, many ways.
Like any force of nature, like water or fire, he needs to be appreciated for his strengths, and guarded for his potential for harm to us, and to the US.
Steve is behaving very immaturely.
Get on the Trump Train, Steve, or get out of the way.
Pres. Trump wants Elon on his side.
I’m riding the train with Pres. Trump.
The entire MAGA agenda was based on immigration and bringing jobs back to middle class Americans. Do you think Musk cares about hiring Americans or immigrants?
Stop the crap, at least Bannon has always supported MAGA. Musk has spent his whole life supporting Democrats.
No it wasn’t.
And Musk is as opposed to ILEGAL immigration as Trump is.
You apparently don’t trust Trump to be clear eyed about Musk. Why is that?
Most BS I’ve ever heard.
That’s exactly what the MAGA agenda was all about all the way going back to 2016.
If Musk was so concerned about hiring Americans then why is he such a proponent of HS1B visas.
Im amazed when so many of the so called MAGA supporters come out to defend a lifelong Democrat supporter over supporting the MAGA agenda.
The RINOs must be so proud.
Check the mirror for that!
I don’t trust Trump to be clear eyed about Musk because: Don Jr.
The truth is that Trump’s family is his achilles heel.
This time around the globalists are coming in through his family. That of course is the extra macro view.
Bannon needs to be given a serious smack upside the head! He is being irrational and will also cause great harm to President Trump.
It seems to me that Musk is actually PRO TRANSHUMANISM
https://theconversation.com/transhumanism-billionaires-want-to-use-tech-to-enhance-our-abilities-the-outcomes-could-change-what-it-means-to-be-human-220549
We are HUMANS created by GOD.
Productive – ok
Genius – ok
Pro-human – I’m not buying that with those brain implants.
On or about Election Day Nov. 6 I received a white elephant gift from President Trump. To my surprise it was an Idol of Elon Musk, with specific instructions on how to idolize my Elon Musk Idol from the man himself.
Well, seeing as I’m not into Idol worship generally or Elon Musk worship specifically and it was a white elephant gift, I have decided to re-gift it on Trump’s Inauguration Day.
I am re-gifting it to all his children and his baby mama’s! Who better to idolize Elon Musk than his own children and baby mama’s. They can time share their Elon Musk Idol. Set up worship schedules. Maybe learn how to follow the worship instructions from the Idol himself.
I will be so happy on Inauguration Day! All this Elon Musk Idol worship talk is exhausting, distracting. Redirecting my energy and enthusiasm to the wrong purpose and person.
Elon isn’t America 1st,Trump/ MAGA. He was forced to buy a $118 million ticket to board the Trump train or get left behind on it’s way to the White House. That’s some real genius insulting the 77,303,573 million who are so sick of immigration problems they voted for TRUMP.
Trump isn’t even in his Office yet and your Idol is trying to cause division. Trump isn’t going to have it!
SWING AWAY BANNON!
Bannon’s going to prison in Feb. He’s also a saboteur.
What?
He’s going to prison for his part in the fund-raising scam with his partner in that, the crippled man (forgot his name) both men saying they were raising money to build Trump’s wall – when in reality they were pocketing the money people were honestly sending in for the wall.
My reply got dumped in the bin…
But, If it were not for Bannon, Brian wouldn’t be in jail right now.
Exactly; sad, but, this is where Bannon allowed things to go. Mr. Bannon has some issues he needs to reign in, some off-balance thing going on with him where it leads to other people getting caught up and paying prices they perhaps should never have been put into that position to pay.
How so?
My other reply that got binned had more detail… I will try again.
Brian started We Build The Wall and was very successful getting the donations, getting the wall going. Bannon came along and practically took over! Brian had “100% donations go to building the wall” – Bannon talked him into taking a salary, Bannon also got paid.
Somebody decided that this was “criminal” and Brian, Bannon and some others were prosecuted for not giving 100% to the Wall.
Brian, a triple amputee Vet, had his home raided by the FBI, USPS etc… they dragged him outside without his chair. He got convicted and thrown in jail. Bannon got a pardon and no jail.
New York is now prosecuting Bannon for the same Federal crime that he was pardoned for.
Oh, and he did Build the Wall. Brian is really suffering right now…
Goodness. I’m lost for words… So, let me see if I got it right- the outgoing President Trump in the last hours in his Office pardons Steve Bannon, but not pardon triple-amputee Vet? That is all kinds of wrong.
I thought it was because they said109% but we’re taking 1% for expenses?
Pocketing the money…
Do you work for free? Maybe Elon will hire you then since you’re even cheaper than an H1-B visa holder.
What?? What??
Technically, he goes on trial in February, but you’re probably correct about the outcome.
Bannon needs to stop with the personal attacks.
Where any of the tech bros. Musk et al, come from is irrelevant.
Stick to the facts, Bannon, make a case. That’s far more affective, than coming off as a hothead.
“Why do we have South Africans, the most racist people on earth, white South Africans, we have them making any comments at all on what goes on in the United States?”
Perhaps because they are United States Citizens. Our country works that way. To make a blanket statement that ALL South Africans are racist is like the Democrats saying the United States is “systematically racists”.
Bannon is going to lose this pissing contest, IMHO
Then Trump was never MAGA if that’s the result. The entire MAGA agenda was about bringing back jobs to the American middle class.
Bannon is 100 percent correct.
Bannon needs to relax. Point his cannons at the democrats. No more infighting.
So just ignore the MAGA agenda that Trump ran on? Hell no, let’s have some principles here.
What is this? Battle of the Keyboard Commandos?
Bannon just jumps on every political trend and amps up a response so he can generate attention.
And donations.
He’s all grift.
I can’t stand that guy and have never understood why people give him their time and money…
“…generate donations.”????? Name the donations please. Bannon has been correct, pretty much since 2015; he has always had proof of what he speaks. He is more “well-read” than many of the so-called new media.
Sure, he bugs me sometimes, but for the most part he is always on the money and had played a large part in DJT’s win.
Prove me wrong.
He’s Alex Jones 2.0
Prove me wrong.
Gee. And I had such high hopes for his sobriety.
What a belligerent, divisive, egotistical, tasteless and disloyal thing to do.
And on foreign soil, no less.
I hope President Trump eats his lunch for this unforgivable display of hubris.
Any respect I may have once had for Bannon or his opinions have dissolved in disgust.
Ma McGriz, Bannon does not drink. Are you able to provide proof for your accusation(s)?
Steve Bannon is a well known long time boozer who got sober in prison.
Are you able to provide proof to the contrary?
I sense some jealousy . . .
Think heavyweight match between Bannon and Musk could be a good thing….bring issue to forefront of public discussion and tie it to “AI”.
It would ignite public debate and prevent MSM propaganda or burial of very important issues we’re facing.
“He will not have full access to the White House”
Since when was Bannon named President Elect
To say Bannon’s coming in way too hot on Musk is an understatement!
The country won’t rise or fall on the H-1B issue like it will on the deportation of millions of unvetted illegals who invaded our country, many of whom are criminals, diseased or terrorists. If Bannon hopes to increase his standing in the Trump 47 Administration this isn’t the way to do it. Donald Trump won’t react well to someone trying to force his hand…especially doing it publicly!
Who is Steve Bannon to say HE will no longer tolerate Musk’s access to Trump? Trump will determine who has access and no one else! And smearing Thiel, Sachs and Musk as racists simply because they are white and were born in South Africa is beyond the pale!
Get a grip, Steve, or you will be frozen out of the next administration!
Liberal media having a field day with this tantrum. Trouble in the Trump camp! Whoopee! Hopiing PDJT totally ignores.
Bannon’s not wrong. Musk is evil. Bannon’ll help Trump wrangle these tech oligarchs.
And yet Trump himself disagrees with YOU 😱
Funny, that 😂
If so then Trump lied about everything that MAGA stands for. I think Trump is trying to reward someone who financially supported his election but who was never a MAGA guy.
It will not work.
Expand.
Agree with you railer! Thank you.
I’m sure many of the long timer Treepers are far better learned on the likes of Steve Bannon, and on Elon.
Nonetheless, I find his words hubristic, bombastic and probably not at all prophetic. For someone who tends to look like he hasn’t bathed in weeks, he certainly seems full of himself.
I sure don’t recall he was anywhere near the inner tier level of DJT’s most recent election campaign.
Musk is just a tool in the box – albeit a very rich tool. Bannon proclaiming his animus for Musk is like one organ claiming if they could only get rid of one of the other organs things would run smooth.
Daddy will have to tell his boys to chill and focus on the ultimate prize.
…or maybe “Daddy” let’s them fight it out in public square.🤔
Count me on Bannon’s side. Elon is big on transhumanist experiments. Of course he’s been keeping that under his hat for the past few months. But here ya go –> https://theconversation.com/transhumanism-billionaires-want-to-use-tech-to-enhance-our-abilities-the-outcomes-could-change-what-it-means-to-be-human-220549
Count me, too, on Bannon’s side. The transhumanist issue should alert everyone who support Elon.
Geez…Bannon can bring some good stuff many days, but his bombastic nature gets the best of him and good judgement. Agree, this is why he’s not part of the administration in any official capacity. However these H1B issues become resolved, it will not be a complete wipe out…that horse is out of the barn. So Bannon has hung his life’s mission on total destruction of a man who’s already the most influential person to President Trump? Self immolation is never pretty.
AI answer: Steve Bannon’s departure from the White House was a result of a mutual agreement with Chief of Staff John Kelly, not directly due to Jared Kushner. However, tensions between Bannon and Kushner were significant and contributed to the overall dysfunction in the administration.
Steve Bannon’s exit from the Trump White House, explained
What will — and won’t — change in a post-Bannon White House.
18 Aug 2017
https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/8/18/16145188/steve-bannon-fired-resigns
Excerpts:
Bannon’s departure has been long in the making. Trump signaled his public displeasure with Bannon’s high media profile back in April, and the chief strategist’s clashes with other administration officials have only worsened since.
Then Bannon poured gasoline on the fire by giving a shockingly candid interview to liberal journalist Robert Kuttner Tuesday, in which he criticized some of his rivals in the administration by name, contradicted Trump’s stated North Korea policy, and explained his plans to reshuffle State Department personnel.
In any case, Bannon’s exit marks a major milestone for an administration and indeed a party that he’s influenced in profound ways. Bannon has attempted to steer Trump administration policy, and the GOP generally, toward what he dubs nationalism.
Part of this strategy involved stoking white voters’ resentments of various “others” — immigrants, Muslims, Black Lives Matter protesters — beyond what was previously considered acceptable by GOP elites.
Furthermore, Bannon has said he wants to turn the GOP toward economic nationalism — which he defines as tougher trade policies, increased infrastructure spending, and perhaps even tax hikes on the wealthy — as well. But he’s been much less successful on that front, as other advisers and interests have argued in favor of Republican status quo policies on economic issues, and have mainly won out in the Trump administration so far.
But where Trump mainly expressed his views in off-the-cuff remarks and sound bites, Bannon tried to stitch it all together in a grand theory. Trump and his voters, he said, were part of a “global populist movement” challenging the power and conventional wisdom of political, cultural, and business elites in favor of “nationalism.”
…one order towered above the rest in importance — the travel ban. The order Bannon’s team drew up was remarkably extreme in both substance and execution, and threw airports all over the country into chaos. It led to the sudden detention of hundreds of people and many others being turned away from flights or sent back out of the US after landing there. It also led to massive, spontaneous protests across the country and, eventually, the courts stepping in to block it.
It also fed a narrative that Bannon, not Trump, was truly pulling the strings in the White House — a narrative the president didn’t like very much.
Bannon then transitioned from shock and awe to something more like trench warfare — he and his “nationalists,” against people he viewed as his rivals in the administration, whom he referred to with the epithet “globalists.”
Publicly, Bannon has styled his role as trying to make sure Trump sticks to his campaign platform against establishment-oriented advisers who are trying to steer him in a more conventional direction. And this means a lot of conflict.
On trade policy, he wanted tougher measures against China but faced opposition from National Economic Council director Gary Cohn, the former Goldman Sachs COO.
Meanwhile, on foreign policy, Bannon has sparred with National Security Adviser H.R. McMaster. He reportedly opposed Trump’s strike in Syria in April, and has been arguing against McMaster’s recommendations to send more troops to Afghanistan. But he also claims to be using his influence with the president to get rid of lower-level State and Defense Department officials he dislikes. “I’m changing out people at East Asian Defense; I’m getting hawks in. I’m getting Susan Thornton [acting head of East Asian and Pacific Affairs] out at State,” he told Kuttner.
Instead, Bannon’s infrastructure push was relegated to the bottom of the administration’s priority list. There hasn’t been a serious, substantive push on it all year.
So the White House decided to sign on to GOP leaders’ preferred agenda of health reform first, then tax reform — an agenda that’s now in shambles.

Musk and Vivek’s true characters were shown by their initial reactions to the H1B stuff.

“This guy [Musk] lives on government contracts and taxpayer subsidies…You’re not a nationalist, not even an American, all you are is a globalist. You would take a cheque from Adolf Hitler himself, because you take it from people just as bad.” – Steve Bannon
Laura Loomer, also another huge Trump backer, argued with Elon Musk on his own social media platform. She ripped into his alleged support for the Chinese regime, accusing him of ‘jumping on the MAGA bandwagon’. It’s not a happy house…
“Elon Musk bought his way into MAGA about five minutes after Donald Trump nearly got his head blown off in Butler. He voted for Biden, supported Ron DeSantis, and said Trump was ‘too old’. All you want… is to protect your buddy, Xi Jinping” – Laura Loomer
Trump has already strayed. No massive, widespread deportations of illegals will occur which was unlikely to begin with since, on average, 50% of construction workers are illegals and probably even more in the agricultural and meat processing sectors and even deportations of criminals will be difficult. Not a word about any repercussions from his pride and joy – Warp Speed and the jabs or any consequences for the perps who created a virus THAT SHOULD NEVER HAVE EXISTED.
Sounds as though Bannon really likes only Bannon.
Perhaps because he was right about most issues where Trump and Co. ended up screwing up in Take 1?
It doesn’t matter how right he was… it is the way he demands everything be his way.
This latest episode is on foreign soil, and is just not right. It will cause major foreign policy issues, not to mention that the EU is already going after Musk.
Musk is OUR genius! And yes, I know all the issues around H1B – makes me angry too, but I wouldn’t go trashing Elon and President Trump overseas just because I cannot get my way!
How? Sunlight has to work both ways.
Sounds like Bannon was mostly right….
I think he’s standing up for MAGA.
God bless him for standing up for what Trump ran on.
Bannon doesn’t hold a grudge. He is totally pro Trump still. Not like the walrus, Bolton, and numerous other advisors cast off by Trump.
He shares that trait with Trump, who never seems to take it personally.
Funny I wasn’t paying any attention to Bannon at the time he was in the White House but reading that above and if I am following it correctly, certainly seems like he was right in many of the issues….
Yes, and too many people here apparently don’t know that.
Recall all of the excuses for Trump found here “because he was surrounding himself with the wrong people.”
Guess who was SCREAMING about that THEN which is what got him fired.
Bannon also was at loggerheads with Jared Kushner, when they were both in Trump’s first admin.
How did that work out for Bannon …. not so good.
Much to our chagrin.
Hmm. I don’t see/read about Kushner anywhere in DJT current picks. Perhaps Bannon was correct in being a “…loggerhead with Kushner.”
Glad Kushner won’t be around Once was too much.
We are all aware of the mistakes Trump made during his first administration. Let’s hope he doesn’t repeat them.
zip it bannon…theres a reason why YOU never last very long wherever you go…..use your head…put your personal vendattas aside and think strategically…musk is a huge weapon in the cause….in keeping twitter open and accessible…and keeping the cucks in congress on notice that strong anti-incumbent efforts will be well-funded if they don`t do the right thing…
Yeah, shut up Bannon, even though YOU were right about most everything in Trump Regime v1.0.
Bannon is reaching for the extreme ( he sees a crack in the armor).,hoping to further wakeup…the public to H1B abuse….and possible PT. Just like the Union guys that work the ports…..there’s more here than meets the eye.
It’s a LOT more than just H1Bs. Musk is a tax whore and globalist poser:
“Elon Musk bought his way into MAGA about five minutes after Donald Trump nearly got his head blown off in Butler. He voted for Biden, supported Ron DeSantis, and said Trump was ‘too old’. All you want… is to protect your buddy, Xi Jinping” – Laura Loomer
H1B abuse is NOTZ the hill to die on.
Except maybe for hot heads like Bannon.
Yes Immigration is the hill to die on …and H1B is a big part of the problem.
It is more like an iceberg….and H1B is JUST THE TIP ….90% of the MASS is what has had the GREATEST detrimental effects and what the WALL WAS/IS ALL ABOUT.
Focus.
H1B nuisance is a distraction and NOWHERE NEAR A PRIORITY …
When considering :
THE SURVEILLANCE STATE
THE DEFICIT
BORDER SECURITY
OUR DECIMATED DEPLETED AND CUCKED DEI MILITARY and LE nationwide
AND…. EXPOSING, REMOVING and REPLACING 1000’s to 10’s of 1000’s of UNELECTED seditious government apparatchiks working to destroy DJT and the MAGA MOVEMENT.
How about we start there…..
Wrong again. Are you a pretend MAGA supporter?
The public should wake up with regard to H1B abuse; Musk lying about his H1B hires; OUR jobs eliminated due to H1Bs. Bannon is leading the H1B revolt where others (Musk) have turned a blind eye.
There is not one person here at CTH that likes H1Bs. We spent days talking about it already – with great anger.
At issue here is Bannon making these outrageous statements OVERSEAS about how HE will force Elon out of the WH. Who the heck does he think he is? He is NOT the President, he isn’t even in the administration.
He needs to reign himself in.
I don’t think Bannon should show his cards. Personally, I think Elon needs to stop trying to be the “forefront” of MAGA. Trump is the president. Elon saying that people need to be kicked out, when he’s a new convert is quite laughable.
Bannon said it right, new converts don’t go to the pulpit. They go back and listen.
Beautifully stated KulturKanupf!
Personally, this H1B is being blown all out of whack. Yes, as it is now, its wrong taking American jobs and giving them away. However, it can be fixed, and we elected the fixer to do just that. Fix what is broken. H1B as it stands, is broken. but it can be made to benefit all.
Jealousy is an ugly character trait.
Pretty sure both men, Bannon and Musk, are in for quite a lesson when the Boss finds out about their petty spat while there is still a republic to be saving.
run them both out….
Bannon’s war room was a big part in getting PT elected.
For all of his faults, Bannon does have his uses. Go for it Steve!
Bannon is a smart guy, but he doesn’t have a seat at the table as far as I know. I think he doesn’t understand “optimal solutions” he wants heads on pikes- I don’t disagree- but it’s unrealistic.
Well Bannon has a loud mouth and huge megaphone to voice it. The problem for Trump is the policy of hiring immigrant engineers over American engineers is diametrically opposed to the MAGA agenda he ran on. Hiring anyone over an American laborer doesn’t seem to Make America Great Again and this is a major problem for Trump.
Bannon might not have a seat at the table but he has a big media presence and he can call out this inconsistency every day if he likes. It’s not going away.
Elon showed very quickly what free speech was until the H1-B exploded on X and censorship came back to twatter in an instant and it got dumped within 30 for me being away for 10 years.
I’ve said it since day one of the rumor of Elon buying twatter he was no free speech savior.
Trump already fired Bannon once.
Bannon could be tossed from the Trump orbit again if he doesn’t calm down.
I guess tossing around Elon’s name is good for clicks.
To say this is a simpleton take is definitely a huge understatement. But I believe MILLIONS of rank and file MAGA’s, of which I am one, could GAF about ALL of the massive amount of drama queen cow patty material, including this, that has, and is being propagated. Both by Trump haters, and those supposedly on our side. Just STFU, get Trump inaugurated, and let’s get down to MAGA business that matters. Not all of the bla bla bla. That I assure you, most of MAGA believes it to be…
Lately, President Trump sounds like Egor Musk and Nikki Haley.
President Trump should be sticking up for
Americans. Bannon is correct.
Sundance, We have Trump
and not Haley. Sick of this BS.
Don’t piss off Elon… he’ll buy Greenland and then we’ll never have a chance to get it!
Here is the real deal on Elon Musk and Pete Thiel:

Enlightening article. Thank you for posting it. Calling entities “X” isn’t new, is it.
