We knew something was coming when we saw the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) was essentially blaming Tulsi Gabbard for not submitting her question survey to the SSCI for the slow schedule for her confirmation, while at the same time the SSCI had never sent Gabbard the questionnaire for her to complete.
Now the SSCI slow-walking starts to make sense.
Politico is out with an article, a direct attack against Tulsi Gabbard using a very specific narrative engineer, Mouaz Moustafa. [SEE HERE] We know the backstory of Moustafa, so we know exactly what is happening.
Mouaz Moustafa is an operative on behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood (political Islam). Moustafa is in the sphere of influence where former Senator John McCain, Adam Kinzinger and CIA operative Evan McMullin worked. Moustafa supports the elements of radical Islam represented by various factions of extremism that fall under the umbrella of the Muslim Brotherhood.
Essentially in alignment with Turkish President Recep Erdogan and playing the role of a friendly voice for western interests, Mouaz Moustafa is the bridge between the West and radical, albeit political, Islam. Where the U.S. provides money and resources for groups of jihadists within al-Qaeda, al-Nusra, ISIS etc, is where you will find Moustafa under the auspices of the Syrian Emergency Task Force.

If so, then for Canada to be added as the so-called “51st STATE”, there would have to be a such a vote, which would essentially resemble a “CONVENTION OF STATES.”
At such a convention, it would not surprise me that OTHER SUBJECTS would also be proposed and voted on. ie: Supreme Court, Congressional and Senatorial term limits, etc.
Perhaps it is for that possibility that Trump is pressing to add Canada to the Union.

Canada has never been a part of any US State. Neither has Greenland, or Puerto Rico, or Guam.
The District of Columbia on the other hand is made up of lands that were ceded by Virginia and Maryland for that explicit purpose. That could be another reason why DC cannot become a State.

An Article V Convention is a horrible idea. It has been warned against since James Madison said he trembled at the thought of another Convention. Please study the brilliant writing of people like Phyllis Schlafly, Chief Justice Warren Burger, many Founding Fathers who warned about the recklessness of calling a Convention instead of using the other way of amending our Constitution as outlined in Article V and thus far, the only way we have done it.

Promotions in the Guard are a B. Active duty, they can move you around if there are no O-6 positions. In the guard, you have to wait until somebody at your specific base leaves the position, or figure out a way to get to another base (which will also protect its senior officer slots for people who work there). It’s a nightmare. You can be eligible for promotion even to O-4 or O-5 and wait for five or six years for another officer to vacate.
Although I’m sure Trump could get her reassigned to Andrews. Nobody ever want to go to Andrews, so they usually have open positions.
