This was not a battery fire, it was a huge explosion. And directly under the Trump sign at his Las Vegas hotel. Explosion happened right after the driver pulled up in a Tesla Cybertruck. Just coincidences I’m sure, nothing to see here…
I watched the video of the explosion a few times, it looked like fireworks going off at the end. Not saying it was, but that’s where the explosives could’ve came from: fireworks are easily purchased and legal in Nevada.
In my Fire Investigation class, the instructor was an investigator for Ventura County and talked about an improvised device made that a part of a love triangle used. When it was thrown though the window, the glass cut the gas container significantly reducing the fuel. They recreated the device and set it off at a range. He said it would’ve leveled the house if it stayed intact and that was just gasoline, match stick heads in a pipe and a camping style propane tank.
Based on the video which showed the cybertruck and the aftermath, including the fire, it wasn’t a “huge explosion.”
According to the later news reports, there were fireworks in the truck, which could easily account for the explosion(s) that did occur and the smoke.
After certain parties demonstrated their ability and willingness to indiscriminately blow up batteries in faraway pockets, I’ll be damned if I’m ever going to drive on top of a thousand pound battery.

Several times this past year in the local news there were stories of cars on fire on various parts of the highways through Nevada and they were simply left to burn. The news never ever got around to mentioning the type of car that was on fire so have assumed they were always one of those electric ones.

Battery fires are classified as a Class C fire, yes they no how to respond to these types of fires. Most likely exposure protection while letting it burn unless you have a lot of dry chem extinguishers classified for Class C fires.

I replied that true science requires a conscience to be proven, as the science itself must be questioned.
The ‘proven’ science they were relying on was in stark contradiction to the science of thermodynamics, which states that the world/matter in in a constant state of decay through entropy.
Matter cannot accelerate and decelerate simultaneously.
