Actually it’s the doctors that have the choice to provide care when needed, or deny it until the patient pays the doctor’s exorbitant fees, or render aid but hold the patient in debt until the fee plus interest is paid off.
The insurance companies & government have simply inserted themselves into the process as middle men (for a large fee) and established a floor (minimum) for fees. (the floor is set when the insurer or gov’t agrees to pay that amount)

I understand that, as I said, not all sites allow that, even youtube when you see links to a video that do not “post” for viewing. That is an option that a poster on youtube can select to not allow cross-posting, usually for monetized things so they can make money if only available on youtube.
If you can save file to your machine, posting it to postimages will allow it to be viewable, just set it to expire in no more than 30 days.
Went to photo, right clicked …. saved to downloads, opened in picture viewer, dragged & dropped in postimage with a 7 day expiration.

-After repeated missiles and drones from Yemen, hundreds since the war began and tens in the past couple of months. The IDF sent some 14 jets to Yemen and hit three ports and a couple of power plants. The Intent was to put the ports out of function as to harm their ability to arm, specifically by targeting towing boats that are needed for operating the ports.
Note: This by itself is not going to cause a dent in a terror organization. It’s more of a message that “we had enough, we will not tolerate”. Israeli Defense Minster gave a hint that “the leadership can pay personally”. There is a change of tone from Israel.
-Pentagon reveals that there are 2,000 US troops in Syria. Previously we thought it was less than a 1000. I am not sure why they are there? I would send them home.
-Israel haters world wide:

The anti Israel US government is about to be changed to a pro-Israel Trump Administration.

-Hamas and other jihadi terror groups are at war against The Palestinian Authority in the West Bank. The terror groups have the vast majority popular support and the PA is protected by the stupid Israeli Deep State who consider them “moderate” and “potential partners” according to US Biden’s policy. There were tens of terror attacks in the past year performed by people of the PA (on their own). Israeli Main Street media is hiding this fact. The PA is paying families of terrorists and terrorists in jails according to how many Jews they killed.
The left are in the illusion that those can be partners for peace. They are not. I think that IDF will prevent the fall of the PA into more radical hands. But we shall see. Not everything is in our hands.
-IDF, Commander of the North Command:”Hezbollah planned on firing 15,000 rockets to Israel in the first two days of the war. It didn’t happen because we hurt their abilities to execute it.” “We hit more than 2,000 Radwan fighters (The Commando of the South command of Hezbollah) who went out of the fighting circle.”
Note that 15,000 rockets are beyond the ability of the defenses. We would have had a real catastrophe of historic magnitude. Thank you IDF!
-In the last year in Judea and Samaria (West Bank):
787 terrorist eliminated.
10,500 arrested terrorists.
5,000 arrested wanted terrorists.
1,489 weapons confiscated.
Note: this is the longest border and the “soft belly” of Israel geographically.
I said before, it’s a ticking time bomb. The Israeli Security establishment is not doing what it should. Those arrests are ok but only the surface. Surprised?
-Russia is pulling out of Syria. Not all yet but it’s happening. Apparently they pull to Libya. Libya is on the other side of the Mediterranean Sea from West Europe, close to Italy and Greece etc… some are nervous about it. Another humiliation to Putin. He is not deserving to get a part of Ukraine. As you see I have no sympathy to this man who is an ally of Iran.
I know some in the Right like him. I don’t.
-Israeli media is full of “hostage deal” speculations. Every day it’s “almost done”.
“Hamas softened”, “Hamas now agrees to not end the war and do a deal”.
While at the same time Hamas Senior people deny those reports and stating a no change point of view. So I will not speculate. Just wait for the Blinken/Biden/Salivan liars to go.
If we get a partial deal with an option to continue I will take it. Saving some lives.
We owe it to them, even if there is a high cost. But not a complete withdraw.
Meanwhile the IDF is pounding them daily. Tens of dead terrorists every couple of days.
For me it’s just an indication that there is a lot more work to be done. Every place that we leave they come. To a smaller degrees than before but still a problem. But overall, while they do recruit many and some report that as much as 4,000 young people, they can’t really seriously train anyone while the new generations of the IDF are being trained.
-Record numbers of new IDF recruits to all the leading combat units. The young generation is clearly volunteering to be on the front line of fire and to fight. I saw the stats and all the key Brigades have 8-30% more recruits than last year. I also watched a video. I may post it. They are motivated and want to lead. Encouraging. I told you before that we have an amazing generation.
-Israeli economy is showing a rebound. I put together a whole page of stats and deleted it as it had a positive agenda. The truth is that the numbers are going up on last year but still below the previous year. Yet, up is up. Some 6.6% increase in exits (exits are startup companies that US and other companies buy), this is a main industry in Israel and we are talking of billions of dollars up. Very low unemployment. One of the highest % in the world of females in the work force. Women helped Israeli economy to hold in the war. Very low unemployment 3 point something %. Growth of the overall production well over last year.
The Israeli stock market is second highest rise in the world. US was highest. Well over Europe and Japan. Additionally the investors in Israel also gained on their value of the Israeli currency in addition to the stocks. Israeli currency was up on most of the European currencies. It is typical after a war to have a major up. In some 6 months we are projected to have a serious rebound. I recommend to invest if it’s your thing. Specially Israeli AI
(Artificial Intelligence) industry is about to lead. Israeli weapon Industries (Elbit and Rafael) will lead and also general High Tech.
-There is a plan in progress that evacuates the civilians out of the North of Gaza. That is the number one weak spot of the terrorists and what they insist the most to revert, with regarding to a deal. The loss of land is what they fear the most. Not the loss of people or buildings.
At the moment it’s kind of hidden and measured but they know that when Trump comes, if they don’t do a decent deal, we will vacate the North of Gaza completely until they give back the hostages. They are afraid that we will even bring in settlers. Their real concern!
Note: In my opinion the head of Shabak (spy organization) who carries responsibility to 10/7 and the inability to reveal enough locations of hostages should have been dismissed in 10/8.

You know that I respect him but I am not withholding myself from criticizing him when I see it needed.
-Israel expanded its buffer zone in Syria up to 20Km (12.4 miles) from Damascus.
This places us on the Syrian Lebanon border able to prevent smuggling of weapons to Hezbollah and able to invade deep into Lebanon and finish the work on Hezbollah in case the deal with them doesn’t work. This is another starting point for the Trump days. An open option to get the job complete in Lebanon if needed. Strategic control of the high locations and borders. Vicinity to the Damascus Beirut road. Israel will give most or all of it back if the neighbor will show that they are not a threat. It may take some months or a year. I am not specifically an advocate of antagonizing the Rebels. We have enough active enemies already. We should treated carefully. Maybe “land for peace” will work about those areas.
-Hezbollah are quiet. In my opinion they will keep quiet and wait for the withdrawal of Israel per the deal. They will re-establish themselves slowly for years. They gave up on now.
We overwhelmed them for now. A lot can change in Lebanon in years. Including the government could be less cooperating with them. Iran will be pushed to financial stress and would have a hard time paying Hezbollah. There are also scenarios of Sunni Muslims killing them and using their weakness to attack them, even Syrians who remember how Hezbollah slaughtered them. Hezbollah in Syria with Assad went village by village and starved them before slaughtering them. There is an open bill. At this moment the Syrian leader appears moderate. So we shall see. Hezbollah also has many enemies inside Lebanon.
-We are waiting for Trump’s inauguration.
Now that Iran lost its dream to destroy Israel with its proxies and is pushed against a wall, one doesn’t need to be a genius to understand that their best option is to push forward their nuclear program. Trump recently refused to say if he will attack the nuclear sites in Iran.
This is a “typical Trump” who takes a strong negotiating position against Iran.
So there is no much to speculate. Wait and see when the time comes.
Israel will have to take out the nuclear sites. If Iran messes with Trump it may be a joint mission Israel/US. But Israel is monitoring the situation. By now after decades of prioritizing it , I am sure we have Intel of what is going on with this nuclear program.
-The IDF is still demolition Hezbollah assets in South Lebanon but since the deal began the weight returned to Gaza. Massive daily attacks, many killed terrorists. Going after them wherever they may be including places which were labeled previously: “schools” or “humanitarian tents” or “medical facilities”. Wherever we see Hamas we attack them.
The “killed list” of participants of 10/7 is getting longer. The overall sense is that the IDF is intentionally making their lives a hell to make them want a hostage deal. There are some difficult to watch videos arriving from Gaza. And now our ferocious Division 98, Commando Division is about to return to Gaza from Lebanon. They know there that after Inauguration things will get heavy as there won’t be a Biden to protect them on every step.
We do hope to see a deal. Our hearts are with the hostages. We can’t have a victory without getting them all home, the deceased and the living. But we can’t agree to withdraw out of Gaza and let Hamas rebuild. That would desecrate the soldiers who fell in the War and their families.
The main reason Hamas is not gone yet is the humanitarian aide that they control.
With Trump the constant pressure on Israel regarding it will stop. The war will shorten.
It may get worse before it gets better. But it is up to Hamas how they want it to go.
We are offering them safe passage out of Gaza in exchange for the hostages and we are offering them some very vile terrorists to be released and exiled out of the area.
Judging based on the past they will choose the wrong decisions.
It’s the place for a prayer for the hostages. 101 of them. Probably more than a half are dead by now. God, help resolve this nightmare and help the hostages and their families, friends and Israel. And help the Palestinians to change and be more agreeable to peace. Amen.

I just wanted to add that Australia is also likely going to change away from our left anti Israel government in the first half of next year. Just waiting for the election date to be called, but I think they have until around May (??). In Sep 2024 Carlson hosted a “Historian” who claimed that the “Nazi death camps were a logistical solution to lack of food and the death camps were formed because of excess war prisoners”. Tucker didn’t challenge this Holocaust denier. Half of my family were murdered in those camps. My mother was in Aushwiz and I grew up with no grandparents and no relatives from my father’s side. I am taking it personally.
Earlier when Israel was in the depth of one of its most difficult wars ever, Tucker had a Palestinian Christian Priest smearing Israel and trying to distance Christians from supporting Israel. Again no challenging questions when other Priests later denied what this Priest said. When I watched I realized that Tucker is a hater of Israel who is actively trying to undermine it in its time of distress.
While I used to like Tucker and Candace Owens before. Candace is full time antisemite in present time, spreading blood libels that go back hundreds of years and plain lies about Israel and Tucker is just anti Israel.

In his early work when he was just a very good intelllectual psychologist who had not yet been aught up in politics, Jordan Peterson did some fantastic lectures and explanations about the ‘ordinary people’ who get caught up into the vicious murdering mobs. First rate intellectual analysis of how exactly the mob mentality takes over. Shortly after watching these I watched exactly the same rabid hatred sweep the country with the covid and ‘get the unvaccinated’ hysteria.
As you and others and every reader of history knows, anti-Jewish prejudice has been around for centuries. But distinguishing people based upon their personal medical status was a new one. The speed with which ‘ordinary people’ jumped on this bandwagon and suddenly started hating friends, neighbors, relations, co-workers – up to calling for imprisonment and death — was absolutely astonishing.
It is good that you keep posting, and that all keep a level head. We sail in choppy waters, keep an eye out because it would be very easy to be capsized by something that just crept up on you. The horrors of yesterday lurk in unexpectedly close quarters.
Sometimes calling it when you see it and not backing down is all you can do. Sometimes it is even enough. But you’ll never know until much later.

There was no “deal” between the members of the house and senate to pass the original CR.
Schumer, McConnell, Johnson, and Jeffries conspired to plop that 1,500 page BS on the other 531 members of congress at the last minute in what has become the normal way of doing business in congress to get it through. They’re all big mad. But the fact is that now that they voted down the “clean” CR with only disaster relief added, the ball is in the establishments court.

I think faster than I type sometimes, and that does not always translate into the correct words. Let me try again. It says restricted for all of us on this Thread. But, the restricting occurred on Youtube, not on the CTH. Once one clicks on the link to watch it on Youtube, one has to click an acknowledgment on the video, on Youtube, before clicking on that, to watch the video.
In other words, there is nothing wrong with your system, it’s not you. That’s what I was trying to convey, that it was not you or your system, it was Youtube.
These days when it seems everything is an uphill battle (example, Betsy’s recent insurance change, but happily, she was lucky enough to get a nice, helpful, and these days, most unusual employee). They are out there, but it it seems they are less in number than the others, and I am always happily surprised when I encounter one, and never forget to express my appreciation to them. I do the same with servers in restaurants.

He had reel to reel recorders & such, he went directly from being fired from Kroger stock boy to fixing electronics & marrying his HS sweetheart @ graduation as I recall. Made most of his money off CB radio rigs of his design to truckers. I think he was known for that across most of america by word of mouth.
AKA the skate case CB which plugged into any truck you might be driving. Had a 4 or 5 ft “Ugly Stick” & a vise grip mount to grab onto the rear view mirror or whatever might be sturdy to accept it.

That’s a beautiful sounding rendition. But that man is “finger synching” not playing live. So for whatever reason he has a clean sounding recording synched to his live clip. Outdoor recording is tough.

I wasn’t watching that close, I don’t bother anymore, almost all of it is synced.
Now that I have done karaoke live for a decade … it is now easy to spot non-live audio, first by ear (if it sounds like studio music it is), then by sight esp if they have no mics in view & if they do …. when they pull back from the mic while singing the audio level will & should go down.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. So… I “was” using AVG anti-virus software(free) until this morning. Then… it started blocking me from going to TGP. It just put up a block and said “AGV is blocking this site because it is dangerous!” Oh… really??? It did not offer in “OK… got it now get outta the way” Simply and fully blocked my access to that site. Or as in past tense used to block me from that site. Have since transitioned to Bitdefender which I’ve used in the past with good, decent, results. Was using Kaspersky until it was kicked out of the U.S.
I use Cloudflare, also free, and the only problem I have ever had with it was caused by an Apple update (fed up with them too).
This morning it was snowing. I built a fire in the insert and was sitting in the sun room watching a Fox squirrel frolicking in the snow.
