Israel Update:
-My recent update presented the Jihadi terrorist side of the main Rebel group in Syria.
While I understand where they are coming from I must report that today I listened to one of the best experts of the Middle East, a Doctor for Arab matters who was some 20 years in Intelligence, speaks Arabic and has some five connections in Syria with Rebels (the more moderates). He said that no one knows what is going to happen whether Syria will become an “ISIS land” or a “normal land”.
Note: At this moment they are saying all the right things. I am not opposed to the US lifting off their Terrorist status after a few months of test. Revolutions do stir up the impulse of revenge of the new against those who oppressed them. So I can give them the benefit of the doubt. It’s a lot to do with leadership whether they will be kept under control or not.
In Hebrew there is a say: “Kabdehu vehashdehu” which means: “Respect him and suspect him”. I will go with this one right now. I just saw the Speaker of the new Regime being interviewed by a hostile Western Journalist who kept shoving at him that “Israel is attacking 300 targets in Syria”, etc… He didn’t manage to get a condemnation out of him. He gave a general answer about seventy without singling Israel.
-Officer of the Prime Minister to foreign media: “The presence of Israel in the buffer area in Syria is temporary until there can be a Force that is committed to the 1974 agreement.” A Force to supervise and keep the zones de-militarized.“).
-The Air / Sea operation in Syria seems to be over (with possible minor exceptions) with some 89% of their air defenses destroyed. This leave Israel an air path to Iran if a decision is made to attack the nuclear sites. This is all on hold waiting for Trump. Biden is against taking out the nuclear sites. On another note, one of my Telegram channels published satellite images and on the ground images of Iran reinforcing their air defenses around Nantaz (the main nuclear sites). We can destroy it too. But added time is not so good.
-The IDF withdrew from a Lebanese town, Al Hiram, I see videos of the Lebanese Military entering and doing some engineering work to clear the roads. The video shows a lot of destruction. I guess we are going to let Lebanese Army a chance. This is vastly a political question. I believe there is going to be elections in a couple of months.
If a Pro Hezbollah get elected (like now), then it affects the attitude of the Lebanese Army. But there is a good chance for a change now the Hezbollah was weakened. With a Trump sanctions on Iran Hezbollah will be in deeper trouble. But the residents who many of them are Hezbollah families didn’t return yet. So we shall see.
It is expected that Trump will give Iran an ultimatum and a chance to change its ways before heavy sanctions. But they will have a hard time manipulating Trump. Trump is sharp.
–Deep State: I told you before that the Deep State managed to have the top of the IDF appointed. The current Chief of Staff was appointed days before the losing government was changed. This appointment should have been opposed to by the Judicial Elements but they are part of the Israeli Deep State. This can be a factor in why 10/7 occurred. Liberal inclined Command at the top.
So two things now: 1. Deep State elements in media and celebrities are now pushing for a “State Commission of Inquiry” regarding 10/7. This kind of Inquiry is appointed by the Judiciary people who are Liberals and is destined ahead of time to shift the blame to Bibi.
It will clear Deep State elements in the Military of any real serious consequences and will ignore the massive Liberal protests and refusal to enlist to volunteer Reserve duty which were the atmosphere in which Sinwar was encouraged to do the attack. We on the Right who are the majority are demanding an unbiased Inquiry which represents both us and the opposition. In any case Bibi is still opposing any inquiry before the war is over. The idea is to not stress out and lawyer up people who are still on active duty in a war. By the way, I think Bibi is wrong here. People who commanded the Military and the South Command and are clearly responsible to the 10/7 negligence should have been dismissed on day one.
There are consequences to keeping them. Some have already left on their own and some are still operating in high positions including the Commander of the South Command in Gaza.
2 . I will introduce a hero by the name Brigadier General Ofer Winter. He commanded Division 98, He commanded Central Front, a long list of positions and I remember the footage from within Gaza how he was leading his soldiers like a lion from the front in every place in previous major operations . “Unfortunately” he is a religious person who is not shy of conducting prayers and using Biblical concepts on radio down the lines. He is an uncompromising type and doesn’t fit the “Deep State mold of thinking”. After 10/7 he had statements like “We are to get Hamas wiped out, there are no excuses, if there is munition of weapons scarcity it doesn’t justify anything, you fight with what you have and you get it done”.
Five days before the 10/7 happened he was dismissed from the military and his pension was placed on the balance for months in case he speaks out (there is a time period when the person is not to go to media and involve in politics).
Yesterday in an interview he exposes that in that meeting days before 10/7, the Chief of Staff tells him that “The Prime Minister wants him to be his personal Secretary of the IDF,
he (Chief of Staff) and the High Command consider him not qualified, as his strategic thinking is not matching the Command of the IDF and they request him to dismiss himself from the IDF and its all coordinated with the Defense Minister. The request of the Prime Minister is unwarranted”.
This now follows with a statement from the Office of the Prime Minster that “if true it’s seriously bad as the Military level is under the political level”.
This follows with a statement of the Speaker of the IDF that “this claim of Winter is false”.
This follows with Ofer Winter saying that “nobody ever in his 30 years of service called him a lier, everybody knew that his word is an iron word.” He is calling the IDF to release the recording of the meeting unedited.
You’re getting the point? This man is of the highest level of integrity. Bibi fired the Defense Minister for a good reason, too late, for exactly this kind of thing. And Chief of Staff should be fired too. Arguably if Ofer Winter was in Command things could have been different on those bad days and following.
By the way, this man is destined to be in an Israeli leadership position and I think even Defense Minister one day. He is admired in the Right.
Unfortunately this was a long explanation. But things about Deep State are always complicated and require explanations. For a long time I avoided reporting on it as it is “internal dirty laundry” and it’s hard to report if you don’t know the internal matters in Israeli politics. But after my long Update about Deep State in Israel ( a while ago) you can now understand it. Actually it’s similar to the Deep State in the US but worse as it is protected by the Judicial system.
Israel is not a true Democracy as at the top you have the Supreme Court and “Judicial masters” who can interfere with political, security and other decisions of the government. They direct investigations against political enemies, you understand. At least the US has a constitution and some limits to what the Judicial system can do. This was a hot matter in the last elections and an attempt to reform it met with the massive and well organized and financed protests in the streets that led to 10/7 when the enemy thought that we are divided and weak. And it’s partially true. We are divided, but all who called to not show up to volunteered Reserve duty, did show up without hesitation. People showed up from across the globe. That’s where the enemy missed-evaluating.
Note: The calls to not show up were not against “Reserve duty” but “volunteered reserve”. This refers to people who are over the age of mandatory Reserve, but those are many people including many pilots and more. Before 10/7 some ex-high ranking protesters called to not show up and some didn’t show up. The Chief of Staff instead of using disciplinary measures against them threw it on the Prime Minister to basically “let go of the reform because it damages the national security of the IDF”. Political Chief of Staff.
-Some Israeli strike in Damascus. I guess there is more work to be done.
-Six Druze Villages in South Syria are asking to be annexed to Israel. Note that Druze are not Muslims. They have a kind of mysterious religion which only the elders know the secrets.
The Druze people in Israel are amazing, blood brothers, serve in the most elite units and some very high commanders. They shed a lot of blood for Israel. Israel want to protect Druze in Syria against the Jihadis. As a note some Druze villages in Israel by Syria were not loyal to Israel but to Syria. What you see now is a change.

I, like you, hope that the “Moderate” Islamists (Jihadists? Is there such a thing as a Moderate Jihadist?) form a stable government that respects personal human rights and does not discriminate against any religious group. And that the moderate government is stable long enough to have elections to choose nominally secular leadership, etc.
But…
If the moderate Islamists cannot maintain influence over the population, enforce secular laws, raise taxes, maintain a social safety net, etc. then the odds are that splinter groups will form in areas least influenced by the “moderate” Islamists, some of which will be radical Islamic Jihadists. …
No. There are no “moderate Jihadists”. “Jihad” means a “holy war”. It has a few meanings but the way we used it we refer to “A war against none believers (of Islam) or in the Political context it’s a war to make the world Muslim. Therefore ISIS wants an Islamic State ( the whole world) so does Hamas (their Charter is about Islamic world, not about Israel only).
You are thinking like a Westerner. Therefore you may be disappointed. The vast majority of the Arab world is not secular (I don’t even know one that is) and does not want to be secular. Go to Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan or almost all of them and the Judicial system is Islamic. Not secular. Also they have no democracies. None. Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf nations, Libya, Etc… are all dictatorships. Note that Turkey is not an Arabic nation, they don’t speak Arabic. Iran is also not Arabic, they also don’t speak Arabic. This is what Arabs choose, when Obama tried to push on them Democracy and chaos followed. In Egypt the Muslim Brotherhood won. Libya fell to Jihadi hands. Syria had the worst Civil War, etc…. When Bush forced Israel to enable elections in Gaza the Hamas was voted in.
The idea that democracy is the best system is a Western idea. In fact it can be argued that a Benevolent Monarchy is better than Democracy (with the exception that the next monarch may not be so benevolent).
But look at the British empire. The largest empire in the history of the world. It was a Monarchy. It worked for them for hundreds of years. Democracies tend to bring unacceptable levels of crime. But you are a Westerner so you accepted the level of crime as it is. You accepted that you may be robbed or shot if you go to the wrong neighborhood.
So don’t expect a secular democratic society in an Arab nation. The discipline of a tough dictator may hold in check a lot of the violence of the tribal structure.
I would be happy if they have something like Jordan or Saudi Arabia or UAE, they are stable nation without being the Western model. They don’t seek to expand and conquer.
Interesting? The advantage of having someone from another part of the world, makes you think outside your educational system.
Note: Don’t get me wrong. I still think that a Democratic Republic. IE a system of representation with a Constitution of protecting the right to vote and protection of freedoms is the best system. But I am a Westerner. If I was born Muslim Arab I may have thought otherwise.
But we can continue this discussion as the West is not doing well which challenges its system.
David, thank you for the updates. At Thanksgiving a had a chance for a long conversation with an Israeli guy who lives in the US. He used to be in the Golani unit. Wanted to go back and fight but his wife developed cancer and is undergoing chemotherapy. Very conservative guy. Reading your updates made me sound like I was in the know. He agreed with everything I had to say. I did give you credit for all the information I had.

Golani Brigade has real fame in Israel. Now days if you wear the Golani insignia and sit in a restaurant, chances are that someone will notice from the restaurant or the clients and will pay your bill. Golani suffered many casualties this a war but they always get the job done. It must be hard on the guy to stay home and not join the fight. It’s a brotherhood. He feels committed. But his wife needs him.

I just have this nagging feeling that the same thing could happen in the U.S.
I do see similar things happening in aviation safety, the world where I live. The major U.S. airlines are so wrapped up in the politics of it all that the very simple basics required to fly the plane are going bad — and have for a long time. I marvel at how many of the elite and even middle class just assume that everything works like thier computer models.

I also watched the preceeding video. Our farrier has told us of these cases and we have offered to provide the services they need, but he is such a good man, he provides it for free.
A neighbor of ours years ago was left to care for horses while the owners were away. That neighbor had to leave on an emergency, so our friend asked is to do the honors. Well, those horses had been left in 110° without access to water!!! We fixed that immediately and called the people in charge in AZ. They couldn’t have cared less! Said it was none of our business – we made it our business to check on those poor horses and those idiots eventually moved. I have always worried about those horses. 😔

Biography: Grandma Moses was an American folk artist renowned for her pastoral landscape paintings. She began painting in earnest in her late seventies, becoming one of the most famous folk artists of her time. Her work is known for its vibrant depiction of rural American life and its representation of late 19th and early 20th-century Americana.
Moses had little formal education and spent much of her life working on farms. She married Thomas Moses in 1887, and together they worked as farmers in Virginia and later in New York. Art was only a minor part of her life for many years, as she was busy raising her children and working on the farm.
Moses began painting in her late seventies as a hobby, initially as a way to pass the time following her husband’s death. Her paintings, which she initially sold at local fairs and markets, depicted rural scenes often inspired by her life on the farm and childhood memories. She used bright and lively colors, and her style was simple yet effective, capturing the essence of the rural American experience.
Her work came to public attention in 1938 when an art collector saw her paintings in a drugstore window and purchased them. This chance discovery led to her first solo exhibition in New York City in 1940, which was a critical and commercial success. PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

I hope this is the right place to post this. Please forgive me if I’m missing the obvious, but I have a question about the Medical Industrial Complex that I’ve been thinking and wondering about for a long time and I hope my fellow Treepers can provide some insight.
I understand the unholy alliance between Big Pharma and the NIH, CDC, NIAID, etc… I understand that Big Pharma funding these agencies greases the wheels for their products to get approved so that they can sell them and make billions of dollars. The healthcare industry is kept afloat by all the myriad testing that provides justification for prescribing all these things. But how do the insurance companies tie in? What is their incentive to pay for all of this?
The government paid for the Covid shots but what about Ozempic and all the statins and all these other things I’m supposed to “ask my doctor about“? Don’t the insurance companies, on some level, get stuck with the bill for those? So how do they get their cut? Obamacare was a boon to the insurance companies, but this has been going on since long before that. The laws are such that the insurance companies can deny whatever claims they want, and they make out like bandits. Is that all it is? I’ve just gotta believe that they’re all working together somehow. So how does it work? How do they get the insurance companies to buy in?

The way I understand it, you can think of Obamacare as a Trojan horse to destroy healthcare insurance companies. Obamacare is designed to implode and fail. The purpose is to make everyone clamor for single payer government healthcare.
Insurance companies took the bait. They said, wow, the government will make it a law that people have to buy our product? Where do we sign up for that?
Now, Obamacare is unaffordable for the middle class. Rich people stayed away from it.
We can’t all be rich, but we can be smarter and get out of the health insurance system altogether. There are doctors forming Direct Patient Care business models. This is something similar to the concierge medical care groups. We must create parallel systems to survive the planned destruction.
There is still the problem of what to do about catastrophic coverage. There could be affinity groups that might self insure. A large corporation could self insure. Some creative solutions are definitely needed.

This is the reason for celebration – Jesus was born for all people!

Had a check cashiers check today, my bank would not cash and their bank would not cash. They wanted to deposit it in my account and dole out only what they deem appropriate.
Banks gotta go folks. They are the squeeze that’s going to finish enslaving us all.
This isn’t their money, most is just blips on a computer that they control for the very sake of controlling.
They must be removed from our society.

Whenever I started my business in 2011, I bank shopped to determine one I could do business with.
Wells Fargo was the only big name bank in town and they were across the street from me, they had an interesting rule in their business accounts so I declined any thought of using them.
A couple of months went by after I had opened to the public, The Wells Fargo local bank ?? president ?? stopped in to see me, he directly asked me why I was not banking with them.
I told him I read their business account rules … and the fact that they would be charging me $x.xx % for COUNTING CASH DEPOSITS was a non-starter to which he replied … we could have waived that clause for your business.
LOL … right… too late now as I doubt that corporate has the same attitude or that rule would not be in writing.
I cash out checks on a regular basis for my personal account. Business accounts can never cash a check, only deposit … I would never wish it to be any other way or a trusted employee may cash one.
Biggest one I ever had was 30K & the owners kid who was about 7 ripped it outta my back pocket as we were heading out to eat & deposit checks, his wife thought it was funny that her child was going to rip it up, til she found out the amount of check + dollar amounts of others in deposit, it was a good day.
If you have a big dollar check I can see how they might not swap for cash if there is some $ amount that the GVT has imposed now but they should disclose that & give you a reason … if not … new bank shopping
Nevada banks have been doing that for decades, only wanting to pay out a portion, about 1/4, of the cash value; but that’s new what you’re saying as I would simply take the cashier’s check to the bank that created it (if in the same town) and they would exchange it for the full face value of the cash used to purchase it.
What was your bank’s reasoning, was it to verify it was an actual cashier’s check and not a forgery?
