Julie Kelly shares the following from her Twitter account:
I just spoke with John Lauro, President Trump’s attorney in the J6 case in Washington, about the nomination of Pam Bondi as the next attorney general.
“Pam is a dear friend of 35 years. She is a friend and a colleague–we grew up together in the law.
I can’t think of a better nominee for the country on every level than Pam. There is no one more honest and who cares about the rule of law more than she does. She is a true patriot and does not have a political agenda. She has core integrity that makes her one of the best attorney general nominees ever.
No other lawyer in the United States has the president’s confidence more than Pam. She cares deeply about the president and the president’s agenda. Pam will do everything lawfully to carry out that agenda.
The president trusts her legal judgement completely and totally. Pam has the president’s complete trust. And she will do what’s best for the country.
Her legal capability is first rate–she will always do the right thing and tell the president the right thing.
Most importantly to me, she will anticipate when people are coming after the president and any hoaxes to undermine him. And we know it’s coming, they are coming after him at full speed ahead.
Pam is smart enough and savvy enough to see through this. She will make sure his back is protected. I can sense the president felt a great deal of disappointment in the prior AGs because that level of trust was lacking. They hurt the president and hurt the administration.
There is no doubt in my mind that the “justice” in the Department of Justice must be restored. The department has been used as a political weapon by the Biden administration in a way we’ve never seen before in an attack on the Constitution and our core values.
Pam will reform the department not by blowing up the DOJ but by doing it in a responsible way by changing the culture in the department.
She will hire people who are not ideologues but hire good people who care about the rule of law and Constitution.” (read more)
Having spent two-years fighting the lies that Pam Bondi facilitated on behalf of her friend, Benjamin Crump; and knowing that Pam Bondi did appear in court in an attempt to stop the defense attorneys for George Zimmerman from questioning the construction of false witness #8 manufactured by Benjamin Crump; and with full acceptance that Pam Bondi did intentionally, willfully and with specific intent attempt to use the power of her office to assist in the malicious and wrongful prosecution of a transparently innocent man, I shall speak no more about the matter. {CITATION HERE}
That said, let it be known, that if any innocent person is ever the target of a weaponized power of local, state or federal prosecution, I will not hesitate to rise steadfast in their defense in each and every situation.
With love to all,

Good friend … Kinda like Dr Jill and her DEI hires..
Pam Bondi, a 2011 Rodel Institute fellowship member. The Rodel fellowship is an Aspen Institute program. The Aspen Institute also conducts the Aspen Security Forum. The Aspen Security Forum during President Trump’s first term had Speakers such as Dan Coats, Chris Wray, John Kelly and Mike Pompeo. Not a single one supported President Trump when needed.
Being a part of the Aspen Institute forums or seminars is a red flag, unless you like hanging with Adam Schiff, Evelyn Farkas, Condelezza Rice, and several other radical politicians and media types.
the Aspen Institute indicates they bring the two parties together so the different parties can work together and better understand each other’s views. One of the problems is the radical democrats aren’t going to change their positions/views, they just try to bring others closer to their radical views by compromising the other parties beliefs.
the Rodel Institute selects 24 fellows each year. A few other Rodel fellows over the years that are part of the fellowship that Pam Bondi is a member include: Kamala Harris, Stacy Abrams, Pete Buttigieg, Ayana Presley, Jamie Raskin, Chris Coons, Michelle Wu, Josh Shapiro, Eric Garcetti, and Gavin Newsom who was a Rodel fellow in the same class as Bondi.
Maybe Bondi did what she did in the Zimmerman case because she had just went through the Aspen Institute indoctrination course, and wanted to work across the isle? Maybe she has since seen that she made a mistake?
I think being involved with the Aspen Institute in any way is a red flag. As an aside John Cornyn speaks at the Aspen Institute security forum. It is a red flag.
Unbelievable.
Great find.
TY
BK….
This pick reminded me so much what I see
in geopolitics of the obvious grooming
of females who become ” leaders ” over
there.
The thought has been in my brain for days.
Then to read that information….😬😳😳
Good to know.
Such a low Barr
Bing: Red flag, indeed. Aspen is one screwed up place with great skiing.
I’d love to ski there…. but can only afford Crested Butte or Purgy…..sad.
Lucky you…I cannot afford a one day trip to Alpine Valley in Wisconsin…two hours from me…
I’m just hoping Trumps reasoning is for sunlight to pour on her head. There are millions who may become awakened in the coming weeks as to what she is, and who supports her, because I don’t believe that Trump does.
Great find!
Thank you for sharing.
👏👏
A great example of why and how
Crowd sourcing here is such a benefit.
What a bombshell 💣💥💥
WOW!! Thanks Bing
Spit!
… Bc I have nothing nice to say about a dumb B that engages in lawfare & makes a mockery of our justice system.
I’ve read about 3 other substacks that reference Bondi’s unscrupulous lawyering in the Zimmerman case and they all draw the same conclusions of the reality President Trump is dealing with in the DC apparatus of “advice and consent” in the cabinet nomination process.
One other great point that I find worth mentioning is that President Trump believes that Bondi will do whatever he expects her to do and that it will be the Deputy AG’s who do all the heavy lifting. She will essentially be the “face” of that department, in reality.
And we should remember, if she doesn’t perform, as agreed upon, President Trump can and will fire her.
With that, I am sharing the latest from Seth Keshel on this very issue:
https://skeshel.substack.com/p/the-top-5-most-important-trump-cabinet
A Trojan Horse?
No normal person would have facilitated the manufacturing of Witness #8.
She has to psychopathic, or sociopathic.
Or sold her soul.
Or came to Jesus.
She has an inner ugliness similar to Hilary Clinton, and Nikki Haley.
Totally agree. I can sense it even through the computer screen.
Yes, its quite unnerving. Make you not want to look at, or even listen to her/it.
…But with toothy smile as bho…..bimbo !!!!!
Can and will fire her and get whom to replace her?
Other than a recess appointment we’re looking at a a fresh steaming cow pammy IMHO
President Trump can and will fire her if she doesn’t do what he expects her to do.
He will then appoint another AG who will step up to the plate to get the job done for President Trump, because the President has that authority
.
With all due respect Abigail….that’s what I hoped with Bondo Bill Barr.
How did that work out for us?
That was then and this is now.
Either we trust President Trump’s decisions or we do not.
I accept that fact that he is making decisions that I may not agree with, however, he has more information than I do, he also now knows who the “noes” are and why, thanks to Gaetz’s terrific job of taking one for the MAGA Team.
President Trump is a deal-maker and he has made deals with every.single. nominee, because that is his MO from his decades of business deals in the ruthless, cutthroat jungle of NYC real estate.
He learned in his first term that there are actual “killers” ready to take him out in DC . President Trump has learned many lessons since 2015.
Like it or not, President Trump must deal with the reality of the Senate maneuvers during the confirmation process.
I’m not giving up on his administration before he takes the Oath of Office AND I’m not going to offer him any advice BECAUSE he didn’t ask for it.
It’s ludicrous for me to believe that my opinion is the best opinion, even when I don’t have all the information that he possesses.
President Trump is making all the final decisions, whether we like it or not and whether we believe it or not. That’s just how he rolls. President Trump is the BOSS! Accept it.
He is using Pam Bondi for a purpose and he believes that she will give his administration what it needs to accomplish the initial wins necessary to move forward with bigger and bolder changes in the DOJ.
I truly believe he has a plan and he is not going to reveal that plan to anyone, not even Susie.
The only person who may know exactly what he is planning and thinking is Melania
.
I wish that I had your hope. Been here before many times. Couldn’t have selected a worse AG if his advisors tried.
Yes. As if Sessions went through a gubmint funded sex change operation.
Or else……….maybe he’s not learned a damned thing in the last 4 years.
That didn’t happen.
How do you know. See, I didn’t ask a question there.
Paxton, as has been empirically pointed out to me on another thread, wanted the job and did not get a sniff.
Trump, it seems, is still taking bad advice from bad people.
> Gaetz’s terrific job of taking one for the MAGA Team
Gaetz stabbed us in the back.
Word on the street is that Bondi will be replaced with Andrew Bailey, Missouri AG.
Not sure when or how. Even Sundance suggested this in his early picks.
Who knows. We shall see.
My hope is running on empty at this point.
The people need to follow through and make their voices heard.
Calling all those swamp creatures but not expecting much.
Andrew Bailey fan here.
What street? Q street?
Sources please..,so we can have hope.
“Word on the street…”
“Rumor has it…”
You know: Nothin’ from nothin’ leaves nothin’.
Recess appointment was supposed to be the path forward for all of these cabinet nominees, Gaetz included. Gaetz couldn’t be any farther gone. In the face of such weakness, it wouldn’t surprise me if Thune kept the Senate in session every second over the next four years, just as his groomer McConnell did.
I think Johnson is scared of Trump so he will recess the House and then Trump can force recess the Senate.
Who “hacked” Gaetz’s lawyers computers? That’s the question.
For some reason, Trump didn’t seem able to fire AG Jeff Sessions, and that was a serious problem in his first term. I hope this isn’t a re-run of that.
The Department of Justice will start new investigations of the president.
Pam Bondi will recuse herself, or else face her own felony criminal action, under seal, in Florida.
If the president fires her for not stopping the investigations into him, he will be charged with obstruction of justice, a further ground for impeachment and removal.
It is critical to have an immaculate Attorney General who is serious about exposing wrongdoing in the department. Otherwise, you have a rerun of the investigations that hampered the first administration.
Prescient plausibility.
Supreme Court reaffirmed that the Constitution is final on this matter: the President runs his executive branch, and if he chooses to fire the AG for any reason or none at all, it is his sole discretion. Congress can impeach for anything, so it matters not what he does.
Where do you buy your crystal balls?
He was born wif ’em, I’d wager.
Only you don’t need “crystal balls” to see who Pam Bondi is.
I voted for Mr. Trump 3 times…….but if he’s stupid enough to nominate her, then let the chips fall where they may…………..Viva Prez Vance.!!!
Sessions…2.0
Seems like the same basic playbook.
Just slight variation to adjust the players.
How long will it take to “fire her”? Wasting precious time on another awful hire at AG. This is not what I voted for or contributed to.
Would you rather have Kamala in there?
non sequitur!
Nor I. But it’s what Grandma Wiles contributed to, and Pfizer Susie wants her lobbying buddy as the AG nominee, and that’s what we have.
Camouflage, for the Deputies?
America hates lawyers for good reason.
It’ll be easy now for Trump to say “I can’t reform the DOJ/FBI, it’s just too entrenched and we have other work that needs doing.
Come on, Sundance, if Trump didn’t know it before that something is off with Bondi, he surely KNOWS IT NOW.
None of these guys ever praises anything Trump does UNLESS it benefits the status quo.
So, NOW HE HAS TO KNOW and we can hold him responsible for the shitty choice if he doesn’t CORRECT IT.
President Trump can fire her if, and when, he wants.
How did that work out with Sessions?
Not well.
Study closely how that went down and
you can see just some of the reasons there
is concern.
I want that now.
We can’t hold him responsible. He’s term limited and will be almost 83 years old at the end of his term.
Get me that kind of deal and I’m setting a bag of dog shite on fire in front of my boss’s office door.
Lawyers do shit occasionally….
The only way to turn this around is if President Trump withdraws her nomination.
Unfortunately, President Trump isn’t doing his homework.
President Trump is the only one with a mandate from the American people.
It is going to be fine. She is a frontrunner with big ambition – she sees the spotlight, all she has to do is what PDJT says, just go with his flow and she will be the next Big Thing. She also knows him well enough to know he will send her packing should she fail.
Sensible comment. Any old-timers here may recall my intense disdain for Bondi, but let’s let this thing play out before getting our panties in a wad.
Just like Vance. He takes on the positions of anyone standing in front of him.
Something tells me there will be a fair amount of Recess Replacements.
I was wondering if that can be done?
Say for instance, if she is approved by the useless RINO’s in the Senate, can he fire her while they take a recess and appoint his new pick?
Because if all goes well, and there is no opposition to his picks, and all the positions are filled, they will recess for sure. Thinking they are safe to do so.
Id love to know the answer to this one. Can he stealth fire and replace?
Why not?
He needs to go to her and say, “Sorry, but I’ve learned some stuff I didn’t know. I like you and you’ve done good work for me on my legal cases, but you’re going to have to withdraw. You can say a family issue came up or a health issue….or I can stay I changed my mind…it will look better if you simply say you can’t accept for personal reasons.”
It’s us or her, POTUS.
Preach !
So what is the reason or reasons Trump is ignoring this glaring fact bondi has this luggage?
Its like pushing the jab thing.
Makes no sense.
Trump never “pushed” the jab.
Fauci did, pusher man.
I seen a lot of people walking around with tombstones in their eyes.
See it every day man.
Regarding “the jab”, if I remember correctly, Trump always said it was your choice.
Dr Janette Nesheiwat pushed the jab. And masks on kids:
https://x.com/Liz_Wheeler/status/1860399464424321345
She sure did. However in her case, once data came out showing the negative effects, she made an immediate switch to fighting it, particularly in children and pregnant women.

First rule of business: disclose everything to the Boss. Never blindside the Boss. Has she or Rollins disclosed all of her baggage to him?
Everyone praised Jeff Sessions as well.
We know how he (Sessions) put up a roadblock there from almost day one.
I think it was Rosenstein who put up the roadblocks and was tying Sessions ……..(fill in the blank)…
Six Ways From Sunday
Romney, Jeb Bush, and Lindsey Graham all know that Pam Bondi is a good pick . . . because they ALL KNOW that a criminal action can be brought against her under seal either by a local prosecutor in Florida or by the Dept of Justice itself, for what she did to George Zimmerman.
But President Trump and his team know nothing about the leverage that the Intelligence Community will have against her and against him, if he goes too far in any of his policies, to set him up for impeachment again?
???
On the very day she was chosen, Fox News reported that she would sail through confirmation.
Surely, President Trump and his team know that anyone who can sail through confirmation is NOT going to dismantle the Department of Justice or hold its attorneys to account for lawfare and Russia Russia Russia.
So . . . real reform is off the table. The Department of Justice will remain as it is.
I can’t pretend that President Trump doesn’t know, but Jeb Bush and the others know.
I notice all the RINOs love her. Not encouraging.
She also supported Jeb Bush over Trump.
“Please clap.”
Steve Bannon is as happy as a clam. He threw Gaetz under the bus as fast as he could.
I really don’t understand any of these people.
“John Lauro, President Trump’s attorney in the J6 case in Washington, about the nomination of Pam Bondi as the next attorney general.“Pam is a dear friend of 35 years. She is a friend and a colleague–we grew up together in the law.”
So clearly he did not renounce their friendship during the Zimmerman bloodletting.
That says something.
^^^^^^^^^^^^
Sorry but I refuse to be dragged down into the mire of this beauty pageant. All presidential appointees serve at the pleasure of the president. You can rest assured that these people have all made commitments to Trump. If they dont keep them in record time he will dismiss them. Check back with me on February 20th and we will check notes.
I understand Sundance’s position, I don’t expect nor would I want him to change his opinion on the character of Bondi. He dove deeper into the Florida legal cesspool then anyone should have too. She has earned his disrespect and ire.
I doubt Trump knows the inside story of the Trayvon trial. If you were not following on this website then you probably though the case was overcharging and were satisfied with it blowing up. You would have no knowledge of the corruption or the motives.
Peace my brothers let things play out.
Well said. You are a talented writer.
You might think that the prez elect would know a LOT about his most important appointment.
I bet her 2A positions and protection of foreclosure fraudsters have been kept from him too.
They say you are known by the company you keep. I’d feel a lot better about Pam Bondi if people like Mitt Romney, Lindsey Graham, Jeb Bush and John Cornyn hadn’t endorsed her.
But it is what it is.
Can I get a show of hands that she’s better than Merrick Garland?
Ambitious Blondie who will ride PDJT’s coattails to everlasting fame and glory. Go down in history as Badass Bondi!
That may be her intention…but I don’t mind the vainglory thing if she actually gets the badass moniker by promoting Trump’s swamp-draining agenda at DOJ.
That is not a high Barr to jump.
A rock is better than Garland.
In the same way that eating a past-date hotdog is better than eating a dead rat. Either one will make you puke.
non sequitur
Not if her viewpoints puts the civil rights of Americans at risk.
Based on how the DS has targeted PT the very minimum we should expect and see from Pam is all Districts Attorneys are asked to submit their resignations day one AND one of the first investigations Pam opens up is looking to see if her agency conspired to target a political opponent.
If these don’t occur almost immediately then we may owe Sundance an apology AND PT may just have a problem again.
This new statement already says that reform won’t be through drastic action, but only in “changing the culture” through example.
So, no reform.
Dream on Treyon.
What the hell. They sure do protest too much.
You know, it actaully LOOKS like the GOP-establishment and the “She’s pretty good” from the lefty tv cable and msm folks is meant to rub it in to US, Maga.
“See, you Maga voters, you thought you had us and were going to unmask our corruption, but you_just_ don’t_understand. We were like you once.”
APR 2013
“The state attorney (Pam Bondi) is now weighing in on George Zimmerman’s push to question Trayvon Martin family attorney Benjamin Crump. A judge ruled earlier that Zimmerman’s attorneys could not question Crump before the trial. ** The defense wants to ask Crump, under oath, more about witness number eight**, the young woman believed to be Trayvon’s girlfriend. Zimmerman’s defense team appealed the judge’s ruling.
Trump is wrong here. Pam is not a good choice, especially with many other quality nominees available.
I have great respect for you SD. I practiced law for 35 years and joined this site during the Zimmerman trial. I remember your reporting on that case well. I have seen so much corruption in the judicial system first hand. Your concerns are well taken and I share them. I support you 100%. God bless you. I cannot tell you how much I have been comforted by your honesty and deep analysis of issues. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do.
I no longer trust anything that is out there. Too early to conclude on outcome but some nominations are too deep in the weeds to trust.
God alone.
Everything else passes.
Done with all this nonsense.
Maybe she can act as a double agent assuring those deep state-rs that she’s willing to play their game.
Until she isn’t.
Or we were overly hopeful.
Sounds like no justice will be done for J6 prisoners..career enchantment.
Especially bad news for any white latinos in the DC Gulag.
Is there any chance to get at one Senator that could question this line (Zimmerman case) in the confirmation hearing? Provide some sunlight…
It’s going to be a problem for President Trump because the narrative that Bondi uses the law to help her friends is already coming out. Both the left and right see her in this way (for different reasons, of course), and nominating her just casts a spotlight on the shade her actions have cast on all her long time political associates.
What the hell is the purpose of the DOJ anyway? If all they are is the strong arm for the government, why do we need them?
All power back to the states!
Trump: “I hereby dissolve the Dept of Justice.”
Now that would be beautiful.
All he has to do is take away their security clearances, take away their access to computers and phones, and take away their building access. They can stay at home and watch cartoons.
If they don’t quit, fine, then Trump doesn’t have to worry about replacing them.
With Pierre deLecto, Miss Lindsey, John Cornyn, Jeb Bush, and Jason Chaffetz all praising her, that proves to me that she is part of the DC swamp, because all of these unsavory characters are as well. She must be viewed with deep, deep suspicion.
It is schnitzel that you gaze at indeed.
She has man hands….first thing I noticed.
A very weak-sauce statement – Pam will reform the department not by blowing up the DOJ but by doing it in a responsible way by changing the culture in the department.
What a complete joke! Trump looks like a fool with this pick.
Yeah, that statement is real bad. Not what we voted for, no other way to say it.
Yes he does unfortunately .
Well, now the Do”J” will only go after white latinos………first.
I have never met John Lauro, but everyone within the deecee circle of influence has a political agenda. Everyone. What’s the next line he will try to sell us? that she will prosecute hitlery for the Benghazi debacle? rhetorical questions.
Yup, and Trump used to be a Democrat.
.
That feeling you have when a good friend finally is so happy because of this new woman he’s dating but there’s -stuff- you know…
.
so, Trump selects Gaetz, he resigns from Congress, then he’s left flapping in the wind? He’s gone, folks. Now, along comes swamper Pam Bondi? This is a joke. Thanks a lot.
Gaetz could run for Florida guv after DeSantis sends himself to the Senate.
Gaetz was always going to run for governor after Meatball’s term ends.
That was the purpose of his many, recorded at taxpayer expense 😉, video clips of him verbally beating on various bad people in congressional hearings to nowhere.
As long as we’re throwing around quotes from politicians and pundits, here’s one from Stephen Miller.
The incoming White House policy chief and longtime America First advocate Stephen Miller has also praised Bondi and said Bondi would crash the cartels and the deep state.
“She is tough as nails. You want an AG who’s going to take down the cartels, take down the migrant gangs, who’s going to use the 70,000 law enforcement officers at DOJ to get rid of the foreign criminal enterprise in this country? That’s Pam Bondi. This is the AG that is going to help President Trump deliver on his promise to liberate America,” Miller said.
So do we throw Miller under the bus and put him in the same category as the rest of the quoted people?
Throw him in front of the bus
he’s full of it.
Yes we do . I’m actually thoroughly disgusted with how many people should know better .
I’m thoroughly disgusted with many of the people here. You all might as well be disgusted with President Trump, too. His statement praising Bondi was similar to Miller’s.
If President Trump had people on his staff like some of those here, they would be the ones leaking to the media.
““She is tough as nails. You want an AG who’s going to take down the cartels, take down the migrant gangs, who’s going to use the 70,000 law enforcement officers at DOJ to get rid of the foreign criminal enterprise in this country? That’s Pam Bondi. This is the AG that is going to help President Trump deliver on his promise to liberate America,” Miller said.”
Notice how they all mouth the “tough as nails” statement and yet offer no EXAMPLES of that toughness? No history of it is no history of it no matter how many of the acolytes claim it’s there.
agree. She was largely unimpressive in the impeachment trial.
The record is there for those who are interested in doing a deep dive to find it. But we have people who are more interested in doing deep dives for anything negative they can find.
President Trump cited Bondi’s record in Florida of prosecuting violent criminals and making Florida a safer place. “Pam was a prosecutor for nearly 20 years, where she was very tough on Violent Criminals and made the streets safe for Florida Families”.
People are welcome to spend time researching her prosecutorial record.
“President Trump cited Bondi’s record in Florida of prosecuting violent criminals and making Florida a safer place.”
Ken Paxton in TX and Andrew Bailey in MO have records of prosecuting violent criminals too, but (unlike the current nominee) Paxton and Bailey have also brought significant suits vs the Deep State while Blondi suits !Jeb! Bush, Milquetoast Mittens Romney, Miss Lindsey, John Cornyn, and that ilk.
The record is there for those who are interested in doing a deep dive to find it that Pam Blondi would likely treat the J6 prisoners in that DC dungeon more like George Zimmerman than like her billionaire client on J6.
LOL. Her official record does not reflect her corruption in the Zimmerman trial.
By design.
Exactly! Parroting talking points, singing praises but no examples.
Yup.
He belongs in the dog house too.
Thanks for the reminder.
Could it be she’s shown she will do ANYTHING…like the communist Democrats do.
You see, when the Left has power, it knows exactly what to do with it. Time to fight fire with fire, and operate as they do.
Non sequiter. Pam Bondi will do nothing substantial in the actual closing and enforcing the border.
Tom Homan will do that.
Would it help if Bondi spoke up and apologized for her role in the Zimmerman case?
Nope. Bondi’s best move is to smile, keep quiet and kick ass on day 1.
This can’t be a serious question c’mon lol.
yes
Start at 0:03:20
Listen to what Howard Lutnick says… guess who’s back? WTAF?!
Oh God no !!!!!
The b*tch is back?
So we’re back to same old same old, not outright madness, such as Easter trannies on the White House lawn.
In other words, they’ve simply lowered the temperature of the same stew.
It’s a very bad sign that she received the nomination
Sundance,
I can only imagine how you feel.
For me, it is like a blatant slap in the face
from someone you held in regard, and
never expected it from.
Screw politics…right is right.
And wrong is wrong.
You are right.
I know that, and agree with you,for whatever that is worth.
Love you too.
Yeah the wrong people are too happy about this.
All a senator has to do is ask the question that Sundance teed up. Did she do such a thing or not? If the answer is affirmative, well…
If the answer is no, then sounds like there is a documented history to reconcile.
Either way, if the question is asked, that may be the end of it.
Lets ask George Zimmerman and his defense lawyers who Pam Bondi really is, and how much legal integrity she actually has.
The Romney/Graham endorsement seals the deal😡
Pam Bondi may have told PDJT that she will have his back. However, John Lauro’s statement is terrible. Reforming the DOJ by “changing the culture” is pathetic. No wonder PDJT has had trouble with the DOJ. These people around him are terrible.
Watching Bondi in his impeachment trial and she is weak. Not a strategic thinker. Plus, she was obviously unable to persuade Willard Romney (who’s now praising her) because Pierre voted with the democrats anyway.
Very disappointed in this pick. Very unimpressive Mr President and your lawyer’s comments just made it exponentially worse. I want my money back.
Like I say, I’m confused about this pick, mostly due to what Bondi did in the GZ/TM case. But my insane brain just came up with a possible answer.
For one thing, if you’ve got blackmail hanging over your head, what’s the best way to get out from under it? I’d say it’s to COME CLEAN about whatever it is they’re threatening to blackmail you with. In Bondi’s case, that would be to admit to whatever that is, and profusely apologize… maybe even naming names of people who pressured you to commit that bad thing in the first place.
Another thing, even though George Zimmerman was found not guilty, and most people know that, there’s still a large segment of the population that think the verdict was wrong, that he got off on “technicalities” or whatever. Therefore he’s STILL a pariah to many people. What’s the one thing that might, at long last, help fix that? Maybe if one or more of the original bad guys, the ones who KNOW he was framed and totally innocent, publicly declare that.
Enter Pam Bondi and the confirmation hearings. Most of the questions by senators are on all kinds of various issues. But one, at least, is regarding the Zimmerman fraud. (The line of questioning likely planned out in advance.) This will have two major impacts: 1) Any blackmail plans they had for Bondi regarding this matter would be ruined. And 2) it would FINALLY completely clear George’s name.
Okay, like I said, maybe a bit crazy… but this whole thing is crazy, so why not think nice thoughts. 😉
Well, if she came clean in public, then her confession would be used to convict her of multiple felonies.
“As Attorney General of Florida, I participated in the framing of an innocent man, including by bringing forth a false witness whom I knew was false.”
You might forgive her for that, but the criminal case would be filed next day.
Yep. But then again there are surely other people with that same evidence, just waiting for the right moment to use it against her. And of course she can always be granted immunity if she names names (like the guy who wished his daughters were sons).
Anyway don’t take me too seriously with all this… I know it’s just wishful thinking.
If Blondi does the job President Trump expects her to do, the leftists will have to be careful in their attacks on her. They can’t use the Zimmerman trial against her. That scrutiny would inadvertently throw Saint Treyvon under the bus.
Pam Blondi! Perfect!
Well, Sundance, you’re not omniscient.
I know this because I have a rudimentary grasp on the Scripture.
However, in my years of reading internet conservative blogs, I’ve found no one who I think is more conservative, informed, and perspicacious than are you.
You have not misled us yet, in any way.
Because of that, and, conversely, the fawning approval of so many people I totally distrust, I’m not excited about Pam Bondi.
I forlornly sigh, and yield to PDJT.
He has not called me for counsel.
Best I can do is stay in prayer.
Wow, Pam sounds too good to be true………… How’s that old saying go?
To paraphrase a quote, “Me thinks they doth proclaim too much.” The stench of Romney, Jeb jab, and Ms Lindsay’s acclamation, for starters, would make me withdraw her if I were Trump. Dammit Donald. Top job, too.
The tell on Biondi will be the Asst. AGs who will be necessary for the implementation of any reforms or accountability. Not reasonable to believe a single person would be able to solely construct criminal cases against other attorneys. Such would be a huge effort necessary to clean the corruption out of the DOJ
Yah… that list of senators pleased w/the Bondi nomination coupled w/Sundance’s experience w/her does increase my worry… although I’m weary of the emotional roller-coaster.
Maybe, hopefully, Bondi has changed, has been red-pilled in a real “Great Awakening” way. The Zimmerman case was a long time ago. 🤷♀️
I supported and defended Bush 43 for a long time… and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. I have changed. Maybe she has too.
Ken Paxton was the greater choice. If Bondi would wrong one man in the manner Sundance describes, she has the capacity to wrong an entire nation and sleep at night.
If so, the only hope I can see is that she’s pure ambition for sale to the highest bidder and that means serving the contract she signs, much as a paid assassin. Maybe the pay from Trump/Musk/et.al.is now better than anything the Deep State has to offer, and she’ll act accordingly, much to the surprise and dismay of her current Swamp supporters.
We need my AGPaxton to PRIMARY Cornyn….Trump thinks long term, not just 4 yrs.
Senate more important
