I listened to this when it came out. He seems loyal and ready to be a vessel for pdjt’s ambitions. I understood him and thought he was okay though I’m unaware of his history or baggage.
He spoke in the interview as if the position was already in the bag. So, I guess I’m not surprised, is SD?

The final segment on his interview with Tucker was absolutely spot on – we KNOW in our hearts that something is very wrong with our government and our country and we need to stop stuffing that little voice down in order to appease the crazy people amongst us!
Listened to the entire interview a few days ago. Vought knows the scams and schemes of the DC trash. Control the purse, control the organization.

I also watched the entire interview with Tucker, and was impressed with Vought’s ability to speak intelligently about every topic that was brought up, and with an obviously well-informed depth on most of the economic issues. I recall he had Tucker speechless once or twice after revealing some facts of which Tucker was unaware.

I’ve been listening to a variety of interviews with Russ Vought on Warroom for the last several years. No one knows more about the mechanics of federal budgeting than he does, nor the long-term implications of what will happen to our country if federal spending is not brought under control.
I have to chuckle over one faux pas in the announcement. It’s the Commonwealth of Virginia, not the Great State. President Trump always made a point of referring to Pennsylvania as a “Commonwealth” during his rallies there, because to refer to Pennsylvania as a state was political suicide. I guess it doesn’t matter anyhow – he’s the President-elect, even though Virginia went for Kamala.
I was extremely happy to hear about Russ as well as today’s Scott Bessant….and Ludnik..it shows DJT isn’t messing around when it comes to fixing the economy…I have been so discouraged with what I personally think is a complete capitulation to the IC, that I am now focused on 2 things: the economy and staying out of WW3…I have completely readjusted my expectations of another DJT term…I think defeating the IC/deep state at this point is just way too ambitious…we need to wake more people up, clean up our elections, and get rid of the deeply entrenched RINO class…that will take much longer…in the meantime, I am rounding 60 and I would love to be able to look at retirement some day…and DJT is making ALL the right moves for me in that direction….

I don’t think he did a good job as OMB Director under Trump. I never saw any indication he did any ‘throwing of sand in the gears’ of the administrative state.
As OMB he had the power to grind the daily operations of any government agency to a halt by changing the internal operations procedures, but did nothing of the kind. For instance, he could require the EPA to route all documents through an OMB controlled office and them delay them forever.
That first term was before the SCOTUS struck down the Chevron deference. I think this time we’ll have a little more tools dealing with agencies going out of bounds and reigning things in than we could in the 2016 rookie season.

So, I have spent the afternoon reading All of Sundance’s articles and a lot of the comments. Been a shadow Treeper since around 2010/2012, somewhere in there. I really cannot recall a time when Sundance has not been spot on with the Current happenings in and around the swamp. I will say that along with some of the commenters, I too have felt some disappointments. Then I had an aha moment. When President Trump first came down the escalator and announced he would be running for the presidency, within two days I had purchased and started reading The Art of The Deal, wanting to attempt to get some grasp of how this man thinks. All of us CTHers need to get a grip, this battle truly is just beginning. And, I will bet you, PDJT has read The Art of War, several times. So, realizing that ,ultimately , Our Heavenly Father is in control, think about All that Poppa has protected this man from. And, we just need to keep praying for his and all around him’s safety and the guiding Wisdom of The Holy Spirit. Make no mistake, Yawhew will not be mocked, as a man sows so shall he reap. Grab some popcorn and watch just how deep this all goes. Been several years in the planning. READ the other articles and let your Positive Imagination run with it.
