You’re spot on, Dutchman! Three weeks ago while running for the senate in Missouri, Lucas Kunce did an ad with Adam Kinzinger trying to show how “supportive” he is of the 2nd amendment, by telling the public these AR15 “WEAPONS OF WAR” have no place in the hands of private citizens.
A 13 year Marine Corps veteran should know better, not to mention that while producing the ad, he shot live rounds at a steel target roughly 10 YARDS AWAY, and a bullet fragment hit the cameraman/reporter, drew blood, Kunce performed first aid on the wound, and then, GLOATED ABOUT HOW SMART HE WAS to have a medical kit on hand.
Talk about shooting yourself in the foot! These “saviors of democracy” are halfwits….. on their best day.

I remember my little cousin Michael who was born when I was twelve and my little brother Steve was ten – Michael was the first new little one in the family since Steve was born – we had a lot of fun and Steve and I were Mikey’s main babysitters –
we both started reading to him when he was like two months old, getting him in the habit of looking at a book and seeing the pages being turned, putting his little mitt on the bottom corner to help him turn the page and I would say by six months old, he was lifting the page on his own, seeming to know I had said enough words that it was time to turn the page.
Now, Steve and I were still kids ourselves so we were not unreasonable and didn’t boss the little guy around but one time I politely asked him to do something which was reasonable and he came up with this “Susie, you’re not the boss of me” . . .
and I wasn’t TRYING at all to be the boss of him but I just sort of nodded and went on with what I was doing (clearing the dinner table, getting ready to wash the dishes, pots and pans, etc.) . . . I did not want him to see that I was actually smiling to myself as I thought that was pretty good that he knew at three that I wasn’t the boss of him.
Little kids are really the most brilliant people!
His legacy for generations to come will go on and on. Greatest president ever.

I have been working hard and kindly, gently, redpilling my guy for 8 years now.

I never did have my stress-relieving cry after the election. I think maybe it’s going to happen now. After 4 years of Biden-Harris misery and then the horrid roller coaster of Trump’s first term (I loved Trump, but the Democrats and RINOs were brutal!) it’s just so amazing to be optimistic again. I know the Democrats and RINOs are still going to attack Trump but we’re in a much better position now.

My milestone this weekend. Yesterday, 6 year old son rode his bike for first time without training wheels. Start at top of yard went down hill in grass. Pedaled and learned balance. Then today figured out the mechanics of starting from stop on the driveway going slightly uphill. And I got them both on video. I was close to getting emotional.
I am so glad he and his 3 year old brother get 4 years of Trump (and hope more with hopefully a good student JD). He was born in 2018, so he (and we) had 2 good years then Brandon stole the fun. I am soooooo happy.
Were they young enough so that, looking back, you can call the Brandon era the “diaper years”?

I have never in my life laughed as much as I have in the past months since our President’s campaign began in earnest.
Who else could have ever conceived of some of the things that he came up with including the totally gay YMCA song becoming the campaign anthem, the McDonald’s caper, the garbage truck pick up, the MSG and Bronx rallies to name but a few.

Of all the crazy things I’ve seen in this campaign, and there have been a great many, the last thing I thought I’d see was a gay anthem from the 1970s become the Trump theme song in 2024. Truth really is stranger than fiction.

When that record first came out ( eyeroll ) it was this bizarre, like a “Studio 54” NY gay disco theme whatever. The world has become very strange, I think.
