you know I totally agree with your position on this situation. I was a (High Church) Anglican for a long time (since childhood) but the church left me a long time ago.
Gradually it has destroyed itself from inside out with its ridiculous moves towards ‘wokeism’.

His first piece is one of my lifetime favorites – Chopin’s Nocturne Op.9 No.2. I think I had and orchestral version of that on a 78rpm record as a very young child, along with other less complex classical pieces. It is interesting to see how it is arranged and played on a 6-string guitar, and his was particularly dynamic but very faithful to the original composition. (YouTube notes indicate that Ari arranged all the selected Chopin pieces for guitar that he performed).

Another name for kaolin is a clay also known as chalk! But believe it or not there is more than one kind of chalk. Kaolin is formed by the decomposition of minerals. Other chalk, like that for example that make up the famous White Cliffs of Dover, is formed as a sedimentary rock made up of the petrified carcasses of a marine algae. And BTW the photosynthesis of marine algae blooms dwarfs that of the Amazon rain forests.
Kaolin is used in a variety of products we commonly use, for example it is a prime component in the process of making glossy paper. It is also commonly found in over the counter medications to treat diarrhea.

I stumbled on an outcrop of a type of kaolinite out here in hawaii … a white band about 10 ft thick in the sidewall of a weathered stream gulch that was otherwise all bright red rusty laterite (?) soil, the iron-rich red soil we’ve got everywhere
soils expert did x-ray diffraction on a sample of the white clay and found it to be halloysite, an extreme form of kaolinite that’s been further leached until only aluminum and silicate remain … I think kaolinite has sodium (Na), making it a sodium-aluminum silicate clay
putting together a story from the layout of the outcrop, the explanation is the material started out as the same red weathered material as the rest of the outcrop but then was leached by downward percolating water under anoxic conditions, removing all the iron oxides and leaving only the aluminum silicate halloysite.
also diagnostically, at the bottom of the white layer, in the orange outcrop below, were veins of ironstone running thru the orange layers. about a half-inch thick irregular sheets. it was the iron that had been leached out of the white material just above as water seeped downward
this was all about 70 feet down into a gulch from the flat plateau above, and the most logical explanation was that perhaps the outcrop was previously a flat valley floor with a black mucky soil from decaying grasses, most likely on a flat meander that wasn’t part of the bouldery active stream.

I learned about Kaolin when I was running Cerline. We lined various parts of a kaolin mining and processing plant with abrasion resistant ceramic. I learned a lot of other stuff like that because coal mining and processing, stone and gravel quarries, shingle manufacturers, fiberglass manufacturers, etc were our customer base.
I learned about the make up of the White Cliffs of Dover in discussions on Climate Change at Watts Up With That and then did some research on it.
another interesting clay is bentonite, I think it’s found mostly out West and it’s mined as the main component of drilling mud used on deep drill rigs like for oil
I think I’ve read that some folks have been unlucky enough to be out on a bentinite-rich dirt road when it rains and it gets too slick to proceed

Bentonite still is the main ingredient in drill mud. It adds weight to the mud. It is also added to clay to seal leaky ponds.
OK, I didn’t scroll down far enough. Maybe that’s why our pond still leaks. We didn’t mix it with clay, but the soil around here has lots of clay.
Bentonite is also used to seal the bottoms of ponds.
We tried with one of our small ponds but it didn’t work, the black cottonwoods that died had roots that decayed and opened tiny holes in the bottom of the pond. Now we have lots of – shoot, aphasia of age and too many surgeries this year, the tall reeds that have fluffy stuff at the top that look like corn dogs, and whose roots are edible if you wash them lots before cooking, c—tails? DARN!

Another video emerges of Muslims beat an ultra-orthodox Jew in Belgium.
All those things go wild on Muslim social media. I would suspect that we are heading to an antisemite Intifada in Europe. (If you don’t know “intifada” in Arabic means “uprising”. It is associated with the suicide bomber in Israel’s streets and later there was a “knife intifada”. )

Assad: “What’s the value of the general rights of Palestinians if they don’t have the right to live?”
I will save you the words of the Turkish antisemite who is hosting Hamas in his capital and the others.
Al Sisi of Egypt was saying similar things about the “violence of Israel against the Palestinians”.
And here I want to clarify some things that I know are not broadly looked at.
I watched the meeting of the Saudi Prince with Assad of Syria and listened to them talking about “Palestinian rights” and I can only think about those two as individuals.
Assad butchered almost a million of his own people, with nerve gas and other chemical and other weapons. He also killed more than 10,000 Palestinians. Bin Salman (Saudi) had a political opponent kidnapped and cut to pieces with an electric saw in an embassy.
And I can go over how each of those leaders handles their opponents and those who oppose them. The hypocrisy is deafening.
And this opens up the subject of Islamic culture and “peace” or the lack of it in the Middle East and why. And I will stop here as I could be arrested in Britain (LOL). Actually because it’s too broad a subject and I have more news to cover. We can talk about it another time.
But those who praised the Saudi Prince and Al Sisi are not seeing the whole picture.
None of them is reliable. We are doomed to live by the sword for a long time. Only the strongest gets peace in the Middle East and even them for a limited time.
-We had probably the worst day from Hezbollah. Around 200 missiles and some drones. Some 80 missiles to Haifa area in one hour. About 5 injured not too serious and a lot of damage with many ruined cars and properties and fires. It looks awful. And this comes after the new Defense Minister said that “we won against Hezbollah”. It makes him the joke of the day in Israel. I would like to be gracious and give him a second chance as people on their first few days on a job may say stupid things. We shall see, but he is getting the heat.
As to the subject matter, Israel is slowing down and hesitating to move deeper and not touching parts of Beirut and using gloves towards Lebanon itself then you get the terrorists raising their heads. There is a concern that the Israeli refugees from the North will not agree to come back unless Hezbollah gets a much deeper “treatment”. This whole war is about getting them back home.
-So following the above the IDF gave evacuation orders to 21 more villages in the south.
Hezbollah are going to pay for this day. The night in Lebanon is going to be hot.
-So as I said, I don’t want to prejudge the new Defense Minister Mr. Katz.
Here is his new statement of today and this sounds much better :
“Iran is today more exposed than ever to damage to its nuclear facilities – it is possible to thwart and remove the threat of annihilation over the State of Israel”. Bang!
-The governing body of the International Criminal Court in The Hague confirms: an investigation will be opened against the antisemitic Prosecutor General Karim Khan on suspicion of inappropriate sexual behavior. He is the one who wants to issue arrests warrants to Bibi and others. Now he got himself even more complicated as he hired for his defense an office that leads the defense of the Pro Hamas movement in the UK. LOL
-The Israeli political and security cabinet last night overwhelmingly approved the expansion of humanitarian aid to Gaza, following the threat of an arms embargo from the Biden administration. As part of the decision that was brought to our attention: the scope of aid that Will enter Gaza will be increased, the humanitarian zone will be expanded, there will be no forced deportation of Gazan citizens even in war zones.
The Prime Minister told the ministers: despite Trump’s victory – there is a need to maneuver in the next two months against the incumbent Biden administration.
-IDF discovered a sack of weapons and munitions in an international humanitarian aide truck that went from the North to the South of Gaza. Arrests were made and investigations in progress. It is not from the passages into Gaza.
-Israeli media is loaded with big titles about an upcoming arrangement with Lebanon.
Apparently the close Aide of Bibi (Mr. Dermer) had a trip to Washington and met Biden and also to Russia and met or meeting Putin. The idea is that : Israel withdraws, Lebanon and UNIFIL moves in and Lebanon’s army finishing clearing the South Lebanon up to the Litani River. Russia uses its influence on Assad in Syria to prevent Iranian shipments to Hezbollah.
Israel keeps the right to raid South Lebanon to keep Hezbollah beyond the Litani in case of violations and I forgot, Hezbollah will withdraw past the Litani.
And to this I highly suspect that it is a cunning maneuver of Bibi to get Biden off his neck and prevent Biden from letting the Arab nations pass a UN resolution calling Israel to withdraw Lebanon. Biden must use the Veto. But the problem with this idea is that Lebanon has no power, ability nor willingness to dismantle the humongous Hezbollah infrastructure. And Hezbollah is a terror organization, are they going to withdraw and admit a defeat?
So I could be wrong but to me it looks fake. Hezbollah are still too strong. We are not done with them and in fact it’s a historic opportunity to change the reality and give us a more peaceful future.
-Lebanon reporting of 54 dead and 58 injured. So Israel started responding to the barrage of missiles today.
-An attack on a munition truck in Syria. Iran is sending munitions, Israel is blowing it up.
-10 killed in Gaza, an attack on terrorists in a caffe in Kahn Yunis. Will know better who it was in the next day or two.
-Yesterday I said “targeted assasination of the Hezbollah commander over Syria”. Now we know that along with him 10 other people were killed. They are Commanders of Iraqi Iranian proxy Militia and they were discussing on sending forces to the Syrian area of Israel. I have an image of their faces. 10 of them.
-And if you made it up to here I will conclude with shoving my nose to American business. LOL. Now that you got the Presidency and Senate and The House is likely soon and in view of the mass shift of Hispanics, blacks and Jews to the RNC and in view of the fact that the Democrats became irrelevant, I would like to demand an investigation as to the Obama and friends operations and what happened really in 2020 – investigate and prosecute.

Tonight I watched a favorite movie from long ago. The Sting stars Robert Redford and Paul Newman in a period 30’s movie about two confidence men working a massive con in Chicago. The movie was made in ’73 so we get to see Redford and Newman in their prime. Actually, the entire cast is made up of supurb veteran actors. This is the kind of film that, once watched, you can easily justify watching again and again. It is really a masterfully told story.
Tonight, having watched the whole movie several times recently, I skipped to the last scenes . . . where the actual “sting” takes place. This where an elaborate and theatrical con takes place. The acting in this sequence is fascinating and great fun to watch. Highly recommended, Treepers!

I hope folks are still praying for our fellow Americans in NWC and TN. I still watch some of the local YouTubers daily. While things have progressed, it is still horrible. A couple that survived the storm was found frozen to death while they were asleep. Another video said that they had found some people up in the hills that had not had contact from anyone since the storm. Of course none of the channels are reporting death counts other than to say it is adding up. The main thing that is needed is labor. Bottom line these people that are out of the cities are still dire, they need prayer and to not be forgotten.
I live in WNC. The devastation is inconceivable. The actual death count is enormous, no public reporting only word of mouth by boots on the ground.
The election is over, we need an accounting of this disaster and government failure.

I am no expert in Deep State matters. I do know who is a friend of Israel and who isn’t regardless of whatever is said about them. For example many said Pampeo is “Deep State” yet Pampeo is a good friend of Israel. When he was CIA Director, I know for a fact that he worked very well with Mossad and was a close friend of the Chief of Mossad then. Pampeo was in Israel after 10/7 and danced with Golani soliders and is pro Israel to the max.
I know some here would say Deep State and I don’t know how to allocate this term to someone.
Another Example is Rubio. He is undoubtedly a good friend of Israel for decades. Is he Deep State?
His positions on Israel will help Israel’s survival. I know there was a time he ran against Trump and at that time he got a bad reputation with MAGA.
Another example is Ted Cruz. He is undoubtedly a good friend of Israel for decades, he too at some point competed with Trump and the MAGA then hated him. On the other side of the street there was a real nice historical building with offices. I am a curious man and walked into a main entrance that said “Historical Society”. It got my attention as it was beautiful and while other offices by it were logical this one was empty. So I walked in and I see a beautiful lobby and by it a huge Conference room with heavy mahogany furniture. No people aside for a cleaner. Next few days I was still around and it was alway open and empty. It intrigued me as it’s a prime location and open doors. Eventually I talked with a friend of mine in Philly who was a very wealthy guy who grew up in Philly and he immediately know about this place.
He said: They keep it empty for hundreds of years. They rent the adjacent offices to organizations they trust to secure it. A few elite people from around the world meet here once or twice a year and deal with world’s matters.

Here’s a simple thought: Let’s assume President Trump is successful in returning a substantial number of illegal aliens back to their native countries. What then will these people do? How was their time in America used and what did they experience?
Assume there are some really good people (forget their social, educational, religious, etc. realities) in that they truly wanted to come to America and live “the American Dream” which they held in their hearts as they made the long journey to the USA.
Back home in their native countries, what will they do? Might they compare what they saw and experienced in America with their country? If so, would they then become so energized they would seek to change the realities in their country to bring into it as many positive elements they saw in America?
Think of American foreign policy expressed these past 50 years–especially in Mexico, Central America and South America; just how successful has that been?
I suggest with this illegal influx, our foreign policy has been in many ways a failure if one of the major goals was to improve those countries, to energize them with American values (hard work, the individual has the freedom to reach his or her greatest potentials/dreams, etc..
To highlight the failure of American foreign policy I point you to Sec. Of State Blinken and his drive to limit Israel’s goal of surrender by Hamas and Hezbollah, plus the toppling of Iran’s leaders, while denying Iran a nuclear bomb. 11 million illegals is merely an underscore of our failure in this area, Israel a testament of turning on very close friends.
Returning illegals to their native homes just might be like planting some seeds for evolution or revolution in those countries where real “hope and change” can take place. Then again, perhaps I am just dreaming of what could be…because I am an American through and through.

May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

I no longer do that. It is not that I don’t believe that she is qualified, on the contrary it is because I do. You wouldn’t ask me to write a letter of recommendation for her admission to Hamas. But Yale is no different than Hamas, a cult that abides no disagreement, and a cult certain of its purpose and mission beyond reflection. Yale is potentially even more dangerous. Hamas will be defeated shortly. Yale will continue to send its graduates into positions of power for years.
A recent study at Harvard found that roughly 50% of the students and professors wouldn’t discuss “uncomfortable” topics. An essential life skill is the ability to change your mind. She won’t learn that at any Ivy league school. Their reputations are still so strong that their faculty, staff and graduates all possess the arrogant certainty of religious fanatics.

This is a ticking time bomb.
Am I reading it wrong? Is she saying that area’s/communities with predominately Trump signs were/are giving the FEMA crews a hard time, and so their SOP is to avoid those areas.?? Maybe, before this thing becomes another political football, probably intentionally manipulated to inflame emotions and further division – maybe somebody with just the truth in mind could explain exactly what and how these events transpired. Or has truth completely vanished from the earth??
That’s what she claimed, but one can use some very logical critical thinking /reasoning that will easily address the issue and find that it’s not “Trump” voters who are a problem.
Asheville is politically blue, but its also a city so FEMA could more easily access a lot of people and work with them….and blue people tend to be more dependent on govt. and are pro-govt. minded.
By contrast, however, the thousands of peple living away from urban centers, in the hills, hollows, and mountaintops tend to be hardy folk who prefer to be away from Big Brother’s heavy hands of taxes, laws and regulations. Rural areas are by nature going to be populated by anti-government people for the most part, and Trump / Republicans would be their preferred candidate.
So when FEMA takes its good ol’ time to even reach the remote areas (without even using helicopters for the first few days), people are – by that time – naturally pissed and desperate and of course aren’t going to be the most gracious when “Do it MY way” government people finally show up….
This isn’t rocket science but that woman in the video appears to be ill-equipped mentally and emotionally to be working in such a desperately catastrophic area with extremely agitated people.
I think your analysis is correct. If I’m not wrong, many folk are afraid that FEMA is and will “condemn” many homes and properties. Naturally people will be afraid of being pushed off their land – in the name of “climate change”. Of course it doesn’t seem to stop later “developers” who now pick up land for pennies. .gov types the world over are all the same – “I’m just doing my job” – even if that kills you or results in you losing your mind.
And, you need to fill out the blue form – which basically exempts .gov from all and any responsibility. Of course people are pissed – lol every time I need to renew my drivers or car license I have a semi- melt down. Can’t imagine the hell these people are going through.

We can be sure those “suddenly homeless” victims are very much both fearful of AND simultaneously angry at arrogant FEMA reps and government people from ANY agency or department who come there to do anything other than genuinely help those folks recover their homes and lives.
