We turned on the news again to check out the aftermath discussions . . .
on CNN, they were playing John King going over his maps, correlating lack of college degrees with votes for Donald J. Trump . . .
could anyone tell me, how does CNN acquire all that data on college graduates to be inputted for John King’s maps?
That is a tremendous amount of data, to know WHO lives in a particular precinct and personal data as to whether or not they have a college degree. That is intelligence gathering, isn’t it? Where is all that data stored that is used to build up John King’s maps? What else but a government agency could have the massive amount of gathering and storage ability to provide all those lovely shades of light lavender to deep purple denoting the numbers of college graduates in precincts across the nation? So impressive!
Will any enterprising reporter ask CNN about this and how did they get that data for John King’s maps?
Is that all from massive storage sites operated by the federal government, for gathering, storing and analyzing intelligence – data – on American citizens, then handed off for CNN to present to the American public?
Then the brainiacs not only on CNN but across the spectrum of tv news purveyors say, “Hmm! Look at that! All those people without college degrees that voted for Donald Trump!” or “all those uneducated white women that voted for Trump”.
So the drum beat is starting right on the day and the night of the election, the people that voted for Trump are uneducated, they aren’t smart like the folks that went to Yale, Harvard, Columbia, Howard University, Oberlin, etc. etc.
The American taxpayer is paying for the tremendous costs of all this intelligence gathering, storage and analysis to be used against them. All of that data belongs to US, the American people – it does not belong TO the federal government or any operative or agent transmitting it to CNN or any other news organization, the Democratic or Republican or any other political party.
The federal government working with purveyors of news to promote a line of propaganda against citizens who did not vote the way the federal government wanted them to vote – that looks like fascism to me!

We are President Trump supporting Canadians presently visiting Las Vegas.
We stayed at “ The Trump International “ Sunday night where we chatted with more than one President Trump supporter
and their financial success was evident.
We traveled the local “Deuce” bus down ‘ The Strip” and the local transit buses around town, and to the hotel we will be at until weeks end.
On the journeys we have chatted with many Americans, White seniors ( like us) Blacks, a S Korean, and Hispanics .
The experience has been tremendous, and we are most grateful for it.
The only condescension we encountered was from individuals that had so obviously been indoctrinated and were void of critical thinking.
An impediment that had likely been acquired at a college or university.

It took everything in me to not make “that face” sitting across from clients at my desk the last 2 decades that told me “I got my master’s degree”.
Sometimes, a terminal master’s degree is a good thing. You actually do get higher level skills, like an MS in accounting, for example.
Ethos vs. Logos. “This person is a college professor, so I must believe him/her” versus “This argument is logical, so it is worth paying attention to.”

We turned it on in the early hours of Tuesday morning to watch President Trump. It was shocking and unbelievable the conversations we were hearing on a news station. It was all about their feelings and the feelings of their friends and children. I am embarrassed that the United States news stations are a soap opera. We channel surfed through all the major news stations and the worst was Fox News.

This is very true. My girlfriend teaches at a local college and she keeps getting emails about “having conversations” with students who disagree with the liberal agenda. I asked her what it meant to “have a conversation”. Apparently, that is liberal talk for working to change peoples’ minds to agree with men in women’s restrooms.

Honestly, they may not have the data on who is college educated and who us not. How would they know how those people voted? It’s an anonymous ballot.
I suspect, like so much of the fake news, it may simply be fake narrative building to justify a position.
College educated doesn’t mean what it once meant either. People who go to four years of college receive four more years of formal education. They receive four more years of knowledge but not four more years of intelligence.
The implication in the CNN commentary is that college educated people are more intelligent. That is not true in my opinion. More educated, yes. More intelligent, not necessarily. It is a conflation like so many other things the media purposely attempts to conflate.
A better question for CNN than how they gained all their data would be, “if they know so much detailed info here, then how could they not know such detailed info back in 2020?” Were they simply pretending not to know so many dead people voted? Pretending not to know so many mail in ballots came from the same address? So many ballots came from the same address which was an abandoned lot? Or a retail store where no one could have been living?, etc, etc, etc.
You can’t pretend not to know one day but then know in finite detail another day. You can’t have both.
These are the best arguments to pick apart because you don’t need to present your outside data to argue it. You can simply use their own data against their own data.

I went to google, typed in the question and Wow it broke down the whole neighborhood! This was just the day of election. I thought what census pulled all this data. I imagine the data has our shoe size. It’s quite erring.

I have posted here before that my most successful friends skipped university altogether and went straight to work after high school. They already knew what they wanted to do in life and they got right to it. Many are entrepreneurs and critical thinking skills are a given.
Those who did attend university struggled for years to pay off their student loan debt, often working in fields that have nothing whatsoever to do with their degrees! So what’s the point of that?
Unless we’re training for a specialized field like engineering or law, university is highly overrated! We are much better served learning a useful trade like carpentry or plumbing. Or just living life on our own terms.
Intelligent people are lifelong learners who think outside the box. CNN despises people who dare to think outside of the box that the elites have constructed for us.

A Journalism Degree is guaranteed to be a degree in indoctrination. I don’t know what quantitative reasoning is but reasoning is NOT being taught at any level of education. College is total group think these days.
After Watergate, I was on track to attend J-school. However I enjoyed partying more than studying, and as a result ended up in the printing trades, working with folks who got dirty everyday producing your printed materials. I thank the Lord I didn’t take that first road.
I did appreciate working in a trade that revolutionized knowledge, and earning enough to raise a 6 child family!

I think that the subject your degree is in and the area of employment you end up in has a great deal of influence on your political leanings. In my immediate family everyone has engineering degrees (except for me with a business degree, I am the underachiever, lol) with several combining that with MBAs and law degrees. Every last one of us are Trump supporters.
Perhaps we don’t fit into the group of the college indoctrinated because of the practical areas our degrees are used for. At least when we went through college the indoctrination occurred only during the required liberal arts courses. My husband used to receive an overwhelming number of emails in his university account pushing seminars on all the extreme social b.s.
However the indoctrination is fierce now in the education departments at universities, spewing out little social activists prepared to start the indoctrination on students from kindergarten through high school.
That’s their superiority complex on full display. They called us deplorables and garbage. They think they are the smart ones. A college degree does not equate to innate intelligence. At all. They know it and we know it. The media needs a big slap down from all of us for their complicit association with the left and their lies and half truths spoken, printed and on the air live comments and actions. By saying these things they show how NOT smart they are even with their college degrees.

Retired Magistrate here: In my experience, some of the smartest people I ever had dealings with were individuals who did not have a college education. These individuals had life experience which resulted in wisdom way behind their years. They were problem solvers, could actually use their hands to fix things and were excellent at navigating life.
Thankfully we just elected a President who recognizes the value of all individuals whether they are college educated or not. The news media will not give up on pushing their agenda on those who tune in. It is my hope that during the next four years President Trump can start to reign in the intelligence gathering of the American public. A good place to start would to abolish the Patriot Act.

Retired Magistrate here: You are correct; it did expire in March 2020. However, many of the federal agencies still retain most of the powers set forth in the act. So by executive order President Trump could possibly terminate those powers.

We recently received letters, multiple because we ignored the first few, from the US Census Bureau, telling us we had to fill out a multi page questionnaire asking just about every detail of our lives. It said if we ignored it we would be liable to legal prosecution. We sought advice and were told to just do it because it’s just for vital statistics, such as what you’re talking about here. I personally was against filling it out, it asked for a lot of personal and financial information but my husband feared an audit by IRS.
To me it was invasion of privacy and over reach by a government bureau.
I have not filled out a census since before 2000. Nor the vaunted Household Survey.
It is none the government’s business who or what is in my house.
My highest education was a Masters in Public Administration which I could have dual degreed with an MSW. I paid back my loans and voted for Trump. I’m sure there are plenty of college educated that voted for Trump. Maybe not as many that have graduated in the last 10-15 years as campuses have radicalized, but they’re out there. I don’t believe this yarn any more than I believe in double masking or Russia Russia Russia.
Addendum: my two best friends have no college education. One served in the military one was a policeman. They do pretty good for themselves. They voted for Trump.

However, wasn’t it Maxine Waters who bragged about Obama having a database on every voter? “Kind of database that no one has ever seen before”, with “information about everything, on every individual”. According to an article from Breitbart, March 19, 2018, the data was harvested from Facebook. They quoted a 2013 interview where Mad Max gave the quote, she also confirmed the “ database was linked to Organizing For America ( now called Organizing For Action), the 501(c)4 “community organizing” network that was built on the back of Obama’s presidential campaigns.”
Facebook also was the source for Obama gaining access to the “friend networks of every American user.” Obama’s 2012 media analytics director, Carol Davidson, “who oversaw the campaign’s data operations said they were able to ‘suck out the whole social graph’ from Facebook during the 2012 campaign, allowing them to access the friend network of every American user. ‘[Facebook] came to [our] office in the days following election recruiting and were very candid that they allowed us to do things they wouldn’t have allowed someone else to do because they were on our side’ admitted Davidson”.
Maxine Waters bragging about Obama’s database with info gleaned from Facebook correlates with the description from Edward Snowden about his time in Switzerland working for the CIA and realizing that Facebook was being used by the CIA to glean information on targets when looking for a “hook” with which the targeted person could be compromised and manipulated. 3) Create a deep bench of conservative, America-first members from which to endorse for office.
4) For those who do not run for office, they are appointed to local commissions. An example: join the Capital Improvements Committee where you can put the brakes on local spending to prevent raising real and personal property taxes.

Why was an FBI agent running Arizona’s elections?
This isn’t an exaggeration or a conspiracy theory. A woman named Kori Lorick is listed on the Secretary of State website as Arizona’s Director of Election Services. She used to work for the FBI’s Cyber Division. That’s… kind of a weird career shift, don’t you think?
Prior to her work at the FBI’s Cyber Division, Kori Lorick worked in rural Alaska as an Equal Justice Works fellow [Murkowski Installation?]. If you can think of a more obvious term to represent “George Soros-funded Democrat Party activist” than that, please let us know.
If you really want to jump down a deep rabbit hole, you might ask why Kori Lorick was installed as Arizona’s Director of Election Services in 2021 to replace a guy named Sambo Dul, who used to work for Hillary Clinton’s law firm Perkins-Coie.

Cochise County officials who refused to certify the 2022 election are being investigated by the AG:
“Trial court judges deemed both actions illegal at the time, forcing the officials to vote to certify and blocking the full hand count of ballots. …
Cochise was the only county to bend to pressure from GOP leaders and activists from across the state who immediately after Election Day began claiming the results were inaccurate and asking county supervisors not to certify the election. Lawsuits from gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, attorney general candidate Abraham Hamadeh, and secretary of state candidate Mark Finchem challenging the election results were eventually dismissed due to lack of evidence.
Under Arizona law, county supervisors must vote to certify, or canvass, their county’s election within 20 days of a general election. It’s a ministerial act, which means supervisors have no discretion as to whether to approve the results. The only exception is if there are any missing returns among polling place results — and even that only warrants a temporary postponement. The secretary of state, in turn, is required to certify the statewide election on the fourth Monday after the election.
Crosby and Judd first voted to postpone the county’s canvass until the Nov. 28 deadline, after residents spread unfounded claims that ballot tabulation machines used throughout the state were not properly certified. Kori Lorick, the state elections director, personally provided documentation to the supervisors showing the machines were certified, yet still Judd said at the time that it was “alarming that there was something going on.”
Crosby was also dismissive of Lorick.

We have 100 counties. 88 counties voted FOR Trump. 12 did not.
Guess what? IT WAS still very close.
Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Raleigh-Durham, Charlotte, Asheville GIVE candidates 100,000 to 200,000 LEADS. My county gives Trump a 10k advantage. It takes 10-12 counties TO OFFSET ONE urban city. IT IS NOT SUSTAINABLE!!!!! The rural areas required 70%+ turnout or more, just to offset these mega dem holds/voters.
NC is being inundated with outsiders, from foreign countries and the northeast. NONE vote republican or are conservative. Those from the NE come in and try to take over town/city councils and ‘make it’ what they left…..
I don’t know the answer, but the future is really perilous that states like NC will lean far enough right to give our electors to a republican.
