My sister in law is one. My wife is a fence sitter on it (although after being married to me for 25 years she now is more in line with individual rights and government infringement rather than abortion in general). I told my SIL that all of the women, like her, should be happy it’s back to the states. It gives you more control over the direction of the laws surrounding abortion. UVA educated but still seems to struggle with that concept. Brainwashing is strong.
It’s very strong in either direction. Your mind can become attuned to either truth or anything that isn’t truth.
I have a friend who says babies should be killed by abortion if they will ultimately end up in foster care.
My lady neighbor next door to me is proud of her two abortions and doesn’t want Trump telling her what she can do with her body.
Everybody has their own needs and what they believe will support those needs.
The irony regarding your neighbor saying she doesn’t want Trump telling her what she can do with her body is that she probably supported and still supports forcing vaccines (Covid) into peoples’ bodies again their will.
These are the most evil types of people and we all know someone like your neighbor.

If I had the want to stir controversy among my liberal friends whom I know support abortion rights, I would ask them if they were handed their own full term child after it was pulled from their womb completely viable and breathing, crying, would they strangle that child and kill it by their own hand? I would tell them that is what they have agreed to do basically but hiring a doctor to do the final murder. How evil can a human be to kill their most vulnerable little ones, a mother who is a life giver agreeing to harm the life she created?
God will take great note of those states like NY who have passed laws to make late term abortion part of their state laws. They all, who voted for it and those who proposed it, have the mark of condoning the deliberate murder of an innocent on their souls now. They have a chance to repent but it might be too late.

Had the previous improvement in the 4 years under President TRUMP’S administration really faded from their memories?
Polls were showing that 3/5 to 4/5 of the country thought things were “heading in the wrong direction.”
On that basis, the election should have been at least 60%-40% in the popular vote alone, if not higher!
Given, therefore, that a large minority in America is seemingly incapable of thinking clearly, which means that their consciences are skewed and emotions are not under control, the next months and years can still be truly dangerous, not just for President TRUMP and his family, but for all of us.
I am not writing anything new in that last statement: I believe that all of us here know it quite well.
And so, what is to be done?
I suspect that we must follow our Christianity, be as prosperous and happy and moral as we can be, be examples for those around us, and perhaps the clouds and vapors and blinkers and planks will fall from the eyes and minds of the people still unable to think for themselves.
There is an extra-canonical Gospel called the Gospel of Thomas, which tends to list wise sayings from Jesus. Some scholars think it may have been a source for the four evangelists, as much of the content seems authentic.
There is a haunting in it, a very simple line:
“Jesus said: Be Wanderers!”
No explanation is given!
But one can deduce that it means we must wander like Jesus wandered, along in the desert to commune with His Father, and then we must wander among our people to spread His message.
