In the New York City case, watch Judge Merchan defer any sentencing outcome pending the appeals to the higher state court. Those appeals will likely be successful, and the entire issue sitting in front of Merchan becomes a moot point.

I am surprised more has not been said about this but like everything else, it just gets quashed from our beloved DOJ and the media. DOJ Inspector General Horowitz rec’d the complaint on Smith’s extortion and said….he didn’t have jurisdiction to investigate Smith since the crime happened outside the United States!

That to “unify” the country, Trump may let them all walk because “success will be his revenge.” They will not stop until they are stopped. We the taxpayers were on the hook for prosecutions, including against ourselves. My husband and pled guilty to a single count of “entering and remaining in a restricted area”.
It was pointless to fight the 4 misdemeanor charges against us because there was a 100% conviction rate against J6 defendants who went before a DC jury. It cost us tens of thousands of dollars to stay out of prison for years. We wound up with 90 days house arrest and 3 years supervised probation.
We were separated from each other because of travel restrictions imposed. We endured over 3 1/2 years of investigation, threatening anonymous letters us, our neighbors and my work. It was hell. And the hell continues.
Since Trump was re-elected our lawyer has begun the process of seeking a pardon. It is a long, expensive, tedious process governed by the DOJ and normally takes 5 years. We are old. My husband has a serious heart problem. We might not live to see the day when our reputations are restored. We may never be reimbursed for the gross violations to our civil rights.
