It’s election day! If you haven’t voted yet, then get with it!
Trump had done all he can do. Amazing display of endurance for a man of his age. Do your part now!
Ever since they stole it in 2020, I haven’t felt the same about my country. They locked the country down with Covid and stole the election with mail in ballots. The imposter in the White House and his enablers in the press had us all living with the Lie.
I hope Trump wins big today, but I’m not taking it for granted. If he does, I will breathe a sigh of relief and see if the world shifts back to normal.
I hope as you do, but if that means the world shifts back to “normal”, I’m afraid that is just not going to make a better world. We, everyone one of us have to up our game and see higher than “normal”. What does “normal” mean?? – back to making money, getting rich above all else, I’m OK Jack, screw you, bigger car, more property, more “fun”, more party, hey look at me I’m flying – normal?? If we as nations, and as mankind cannot perceive and understand the higher purpose of our being and creation – that we and the entire universe is a creation, by a Creator, One who gave to us specific instructions on how to conduct ourselves (for our own good), that we are all endowed with a portion of His Godliness (our souls) and are here for a purpose. To make this a “better” world – to understand and correct our errors, until we reestablish the Kingdom of God both in our lives and the entire world. Until…..”My house shall become……………….” Failing that effort, we as mankind will continue to suffer the consequences of our rejection of God and His purpose.

Very possibly our God has used these times to “wake” us up. Regrettably, sometimes (more often than not) we have to be “pushed” by God to make us understand just what we stand to lose, and the horrors that await us if we forget Him. I wish, hope, desire and pray that ALL people, not just Christian, Jew or Muslim, but every human on earth will come to the realization that there is only One true Creator, who desires that ALL of His creation acknowledge His Kingship, and His firm intention and will is that ALL of us enjoy the peace and joy offered, if we would only take it. After all isn’t that what everyone of us desires. But first we need to conquer our own “evil” within us, then together with Him, we will banish evil, death and sorrow from this world forever – it is in our power. So…….

I certainly feel your wariness, Linda. Some Soros funded group just dropped 90,000 late registrations in AZ. Most are incomplete and suspect for various reasons, but, there are judges out there who would be more than happy to entertain allowing them to be considered valid.

The big question mark is how many UOCAVA (overseas) votes are going to be submitted by the DNC. They requested 9 million ballots, but the census identified only 2.3 million ex-pats of voting age. And of course, the military is being starved of ballots.
I hate to say it, but if you’re living abroad, you really shouldn’t have a say in who should be President or any other political office. Either that, or you must show your valid passport and only get to vote in the state where the passport says you resided. With the current system of no ID, the DNC is hoping to flood places like Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania with overseas ballots to make up for the deficit in votes they’re getting domestically.

‘Tink spent a good part of the night on my shoulder as it was gettin’ colder here. When I moved, she moved. When I quietly said “good kitty” I got this just audible little purr. I think she does that so only I will hear it. Good kitty.

An interesting thing happened this morning, Bet. When I went to pay, the owner just smiled and said someone had paid for my tacos. This is something that is mosst endearing about this small, family owned, very local, establishment.
Although I’ve been eating there for over a decade, despite often being the only anglo in this little Taqueria, I’m definitely a “regular” when I go there. For a long time, for instance, I’ve made a point of saying “good morning” to the people I see there and they always, often whole families, say a friendly “good morning” in return.
Over the years and more than a few times, I’ve found that someone has annonymously bought my breakfast or lunch for me.
This is what happened again this morning. Now I realize that to the world at large, I am old guy with a cane, who usually eats alone. But these events are not acts of pity—they’re acts of kindness from people I’ve come to know over the years.
This is a very “Mexican” kind of thing to do, a very “community” kind of thing to do. It’s a gentle way of saying “I like you” and it is something that I’ve very much come to appreciate. I thanked the guy who bought my breakfast for me and wished both him and his friend a good day. When I see them again we’ll be friends.
Well now…on a day of anxiety and concern about the election, this story has given me such a moment of calm and the biggest smile….if you could only see, dear friend.
I do not doubt that you are one of the family (so to speak), Garrison. And such a lovely generous gesture from someone who has come to know you, if not yet by name, certainly by your regular presence and your friendliness and warmth. Yes indeed, I fully expect the next time, you can add this gentleman to your growing list of friends.
When I was living in Wales, I found this to be true for me in my little part…I knew I was an “American abroad”… something of a pejorative. And I was determined to leave my ” American” behind and do my best to fit in, however long it took…adopting their customs and keeping a low profile. A guest, in other words. A state of mind which I never failed to completely grow out of in twenty years.
My crowning moment came (I know I’ve told this small story before) when an American tourist noticed in the tiny shop where I worked that I was an expat (My path crossed with so many, and believe it or believe or not, very few fellow Americans ever noticed).
He said, “Oh! You’re an American.”
A passing Welshman who overheard said, “No, she’s a local.” Never slowed down, just walked by without realising that that endearing stamp of approval was possibly the best gift I have ever received.
So I understand how very much your little Taqueria has taken you to its heart, as you have theirs. There is no feeling like it in a world where at our age people simple do not see us. I am so touched by your wonderful experience today.
There really are good people in this world, aren’t there, in these tinny enclaves. You have restored a bit of my faith in humanity… A blessing. And I thank you from my heart for sharing it with me, dear soul. I’ll be smiling for the rest of the day 😌💕😘🤗

His plan seems excellent to him, but when he crosses the finish line, there will be no medal or ribbon waiting.
That would certainly be a silly thing to do. Yet we can fall into this very trap when we decide the course for our life instead of running the race God sets. (See Heb. 12:1.) By submitting to His will, we remain on the right path. But the moment we revert to old habits or start making decisions based on our own wisdom, we go far afield.
Whether believers run the race God’s way or their own way, they’ll reach a finish line—but that doesn’t mean it’s the same one. No one wants to look back and realize, I didn’t run the course meant for me. I accomplished nothing of value. The only truly lasting and worthwhile deeds are those done for the Lord in the power of His Spirit (1 Corinthians 3:11-15).
And thankfully, no matter how far off course we veer, the Holy Spirit is still present. He reminds us of the right path—and gives us the power to get back on it and persevere.”

Biography: James Clerk Maxwell’s portrayal of electromagnetic forces as “fields” revolutionized physics in the 19th century. Maxwell took the work of Michael Faraday and created a mathematical formula that linked magnetism and electricity. His work created a basis for modern electrical engineering and paved the way for x-rays and radar.
Maxwell’s other achievements included work on color including producing what was probably the first color photograph in 1861. He also produced ground-breaking work on the kinetic theory of gases, and on the nature of Saturn’s rings.
In Albert Einstein said Maxwell’s work was the “most profound and the most fruitful that physics has experienced since the time of Newton”, and that his theory of relativity owed its origins to Maxwell’s calculations.

Dutch physician and bacteriologist (Nobel Prize in Medicine 1929), dies at 72
Biography: Christiaan Eijkman made significant contributions to the discovery of vitamins. He received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1929 for his work on beriberi, a disorder now recognized as thiamine deficiency.
Eijkman began his career as a military doctor in the Dutch East Indies. After contracting malaria, however, he returned to Europe where he gained experience in the advanced research laboratories there. This experience proved valuable when he later returned to the Dutch East Indies to study tropical diseases.
While investigating beriberi, Eijkman made an accidental discovery. He noticed that chickens fed polished rice developed symptoms similar to beriberi, while those fed unpolished rice remained healthy. This observation led to the identification of what would later be known as vitamin B1 or thiamine.
Initially Eijkman believed beriberi was caused by a bacterium rather than a nutritional deficiency. This work nevertheless laid the foundation for further research into vitamins. He shared the Nobel Prize with Sir Frederick Hopkins for their contributions to this field.
Eijkman later became a professor at Utrecht University. There he developed a test for detecting water pollution and conducted research on bacterial growth. He also involved himself in public health initiatives, including efforts to combat alcoholism and tuberculosis.
The Indonesian government recognized Eijkman’s contributions by naming a research center after him. The Eijkman Institute for Molecular Biology continues his legacy in scientific research today.
My father was a physicist. Maxwell meant so much to him that Maxwell’s Constant was his secret code to everything and he gave a locket to my father with it engraved on it — meaning his love for her would be as constant as … the universe.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Got to the polls in Redford, Michigan @ 6:45 am. There was about 40 people in line, heck one guy was there since 4am. Polls opened on time @ 7:00 am, cast my ballot, voted straight republican ticket, placed my ballot in the machine as out of there by 7:15 am.

Luzerne County PA voter here. My son and I were in line @ 6:50 am. Polls opened. Electronic poll books, NO ID ask for. WE were promised PAPER ballots so to my shock I was escorted over to a machine!! I said “where are the paper ballots we were promised?” And the worker replied “I don’t know!!” I then ask “who owns and manufactured these machines?, Are they Dominion??” They said “I think so.” So I proceeded and printed ballot. Looked it over like it was a still shot of the Zapruder film. And was escorted over to put in tabulation machine (also Dominion owned).
Needless to say I am not holding out hope these heathen dRats don’t have shenanigans afoot!!
Just voted as the polls opened here in Central Mississippi. My neighborhood is middle- to upper-middle- class. No shenanigans, we have to produce a state ID to get a ballot, and the ballot is paper that is put into a scanner that confirms that you voted and if you really wanted to not vote for someone who was unopposed. Lots of people there to vote before they go to work.

Something the Lord had me up to and I got this great revelation…He gave me this revelation early this morning and it’s called…WE SHOULDN’T BE HERE.
We weren’t supposed to be here where we were today, when the Establishment snuck in our nation and designed to change the foundation of this country, to rip apart society and cause a great divide because they know a house divided against itself cannot stand. They tried to change this history of this nation to cause hatred for what many thought this nation stood for. They have assassinated presidents and tried to with others and they have failed. They have tried to put this country into countless wars to weaken it militarily and financially. They’ve allowed spies into our nation and into our government. They’ve allowed terrorists into this nation and they have allowed them to attack it on all fronts.
In 2016 they tried to steal the election and people overwhelmingly showed up and voted for President Trump. The Establishment underestimated the love people had for this nation, the freedoms. They didn’t know God’s plan would stop theirs. They tried to scream that he was illegitimate his entire presidency. They tried the Russian hoax and the dossier, the constant lies and the MSM attacking Pres Trump on a daily basis. Their first attempt at impeaching Pres Trump over a phone call and it failed. The 2020 election – stolen election and the cover up that took place to hide it and it still continues to this day.
