Yeah, when I saw FL and OH after dinner (I’m in CO), I was like “No way Trump loses. Those are blowout margins.”
All those years in 2008, 2012 (even 2000 and 2004) where we would all watch to see if the Republican could just squeak out a win in OH and FL maybe they could have a path.

Took hubs down to the hospital yesterday for an exam, but kept tabs the whole time with an ear bud. Listened until way after midnight until he was finally announced the winner. I sent the H-tler spoof to all of my friends and family for laughs too. It was the best day in long time.
One of the most amazing comebacks in political history. David vs Goliath. Amidst everything that was thrown at him he stood strong. It all backfired, the impeachments, the indictments, the assassination attempts, all of it. What a total badass.
And he really worked hard for it. Can’t imagine that lazy commie getting the victory, but then I think a lot of credit is due to Lara Trump and the RNC.
They aren’t through with him yet. On the 26th he will be sentenced to prison by Merchan. Pray that he is allowed to remain free while he appeals.

Over the last 15-20 years I have become acutely aware of how much political power and influence in the United States effects the rest of the world; it would be impossible to overstate what a huge benefit President Trump’s win tonight is not just for us, but for all the other countries’ peoples who are desperately struggling against globalism.
Just as the passage of Brexit in 2016 gave us hope this comeback of a good and genuinely patriotic man gives hope all over the world. May their hopes be realized.

Here in Illinois, it’s delightful to consider that J. B. Pritzker and the Illinois legislature is now obligated to send its 19 electors to President Trump as a result of its participation in the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact.
While I almost never turn on TV “news”, I may just have to capture Pritzker’s announcement of his passing the electors to Mr. Trump.
That does not mitigate the unpleasant contemplation of the vote in Illinois going 8 points against the President. Even allowing the usual 3 to 4% value of vote fraud, an Illinois staple, it’s disheartening to think that such a number of (mostly Cook County) voters selected the Harris ticket.
Funny, CNN’s headline on their homepage is “Trump Retakes Power”. They can’t help but make it sound like Trump took it, and wasn’t reelected.
I guess there is a time to grieve and a time to rejoice and now would be the latter.
HOWEVER……..that being said……….there is a HUGE/BIGGLY amount of work that will now need to be done.
I would like to think that the closeness of the race was a result of a good degree of cheating, (thwarted by the ‘too big to rig’ aspect), but given the last umpteen years of gaslighting it is unlikely we will ever really know the truth.
To the flip….apparently there is large amount of our fellow citizens whom are in need of waking up to some of the truths of the matter. I say this based on countless hours of footage I have seen of interviews with sheep, wokesters and the walking dead.
Do not let these negative sounding statements detract from the task at hand. For now……a healthy dose of praise and thanks to The LORD for granting a respite.
Now to carry on with repair of the Republic……..if we can keep it.
