Today is election day in America. Today is all about execution. Today is about voting.
Now is the moment to stop accepting the things we cannot change, and start changing the things we cannot accept!
Historically, we have been able to gauge the enthusiasm with ground reports by you as you vote in your local precinct. Today we do the same, only this time I can tell you with utmost certainty, the eyes of many around the world are watching closely. This is the BIG ONE. Wherever you are, in whatever state or region you are voting, YOUR VOICE MATTERS.
Do not be complacent; tune out the noise, run through the finish line. Don’t be distracted by obstacles or hurdles you may encounter. Resolve to the task at hand.
Today, we do what we know needs to be done, and we will end the day knowing we have done everything possible to deserve victory. Offer assistance to those who may need help getting to the polls. Do WHATEVER IT TAKES to respond to Benjamin Franklin’s prose and keep our republic intact.
Our leader has done all he can to bring us toward victory. Now, it’s up to us.
What are you seeing and hearing in your city, town or neighborhood?
How is the turnout in your area? What is the mood of the electorate, your friends, your neighbors?
I think of today the same way I did 1,387 days ago….
There is a great deal of purposefully driven anxiety and fear amid our nation as this multi-faceted internal war takes place. However, there is a primary element to this effort that each person can act to counter. Do not let your sense of self succumb to this assault. Do not let them win the battle for your peace of mind.
It might, heck, -check that- it does seem overwhelming at times. But that is the nature of this collectivist strategy. That is the purpose of this bombardment. We must hold strong and push back against their lies and manipulations. If you look closely at their attack, it is weak and much of it is psychological bait. Do not fall into the trap of despair.
When I share the message “live your best life”, it is not without purpose. Every moment that we allow the onslaught to deter us from living our dreams, is a moment those who oppose our nation view as us taking a knee. Do not allow this effort to succeed.
You might ask yourself how I can, one person, a flea looking into a furnace, retain an optimistic disposition while all around me seems chaotic and mad.
That’s the point; it ‘seems’ chaotic and mad because it has been created to appear that way. There are more of us than them; they just control the systems that allow us to connect, share messages and recognize the scale of our assembly.
Every second that you live your life with thankfulness for the abundance within it; every moment that we CHOOSE to engage with fellowship; every day that we accept guidance from God, and every moment we cherish this time to be a beacon of optimism; is a moment that we withstand that barrage and hold the flag in place.
It is a genuinely patriotic position not to succumb to the attack.
If you allow yourself to be drawn into crisis and despair, you allow them to win.
If your center of normal is based around this overwhelming onslaught, you will eventually concede liberty in favor of peace. Once we stop living in liberty, we no longer have peace.
We must shake this mindset. We have withstood 1,387 days of this onslaught; now, we must rally to the origin of our true national spirit.
We must rally to a standard of Americanism and accept this is not that. In essence, we must individually take a stand. Purposefully, deliberately and with forethought, we must engage those around us to get rid of this sense of foreboding.
This approach is how we win the larger battle.
All around us, in every tribe and region, there are people who need you to show them the strength that you have. Strength of spirit. Strength of fellowship that you will not relent from expressing. No matter what noise is shouting from the loudspeakers we must withstand it; we must make eye contact and remain joyful. We cannot allow despair to be the status quo.
Trust me, this ain’t easy for me…. through my research, I have torn open the dungeon doors and stared into the dark space; and yes, the scale of corruption amid our national body politic sticks to you; it manifests as cynicism.
However, our MAGA message is optimistic; and we must fight against any tendency to allow the leftist hatred and scheme against our American value system to impact delivery of that message.
Lifelong democrats and independents have flocked to our MAGA movement in larger numbers than ever before. Our political opposition is seeing the result in terms of voters turning away from them and they are apoplectic.
Which is the point of this. Our republic needs more people like you, right now. Don’t wait… engage life, get optimistic however you need to do it. Then let that part of you shine right now… This is how we will win beyond the 2024 campaign result. Hold up that flag; give the starter smile, rally to the standard you create and Make America Great Again.
Now is the moment to stop accepting the things we cannot change and start changing the things we cannot accept!
A loving and purposeful God is with us.
Let nothing deter you from victory!
“WOLVERINES!”
GO VOTE!

North central Mississippi here. We just went to vote. No line, two people ahead of us. The ballots were weird. There were 9 presidential candidates, including RFK Jr., Trump/Vance were 5th on that list. No issues, IDs always required, paper ballots and tabulation machine.
I’ve found it strange at the lack of yard signs this year. I saw only 3 and one bumper sticker stuck on a trashcan. No Harris at all.
After voting we went to the courthouse to renew our car registration. It’s the polling place for the downtown folks. There was a short line there, maybe 10 people.
Have a blessed day everyone!
Yes, Mr. Trump’s name was way down ballot, of course Harris was right on the top, last time Trump was the sitting President and Biden was on top. All the little government manipulators manipulating away.
On my way home I passed the Walgreens, a typical ignorant american white woman was taking down all the Trump/Vance signs, there was a bunch of new harriswalz signs there, I assume she put them up. No-class bitch with this I’m so superior look on her face.
GO VOTE !!! DON’T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT !!
Grrrr…
Yep
Northwest Wisconsin. Voted around 9:30. Line was long as I’ve ever seen it. Doesn’t mean much because rural small prescient but surprising because we had a big “Vote Early” push here. Sure hope more voters for DJT to help offset the fraud in the southern part of the state.
Semper Fidelis
glad i saw your comment as i was just about to post this!
Fox WEATHER channel just explained to me, very slowly and in great detail,
how Wisconsin is pretty much exactly 50/50 R v. D state.
it went on….
because it is raining, mr. idiot on-air personality told me, and because it will pretty much be raining all day in “traditionally” D stronghold towns, this amounts to VOTER SUPPRESSION (yes, he said the words), and the impact should be scrutinized as it might decide “close” races.
no words to describe how simultaneously repulsed and furious at the psyops.
apparently my tv experienced a sudden onset of rage also, because i lost the picture during this commentary.
not kidding.
I also live in northwest Wisconsin. I voted early and there were already 200 people who had voted early. You have to realize this is a town that has just over 300 people in the town but all of us outside this little town count in the total amount of voters eligible to vote. We need every little town and city to vote like our lives are dependent on the outcome, which they are.
Be careful up there, the rut is and the hunt is on! Drive carefully! Son lives in Polk County.
Central Minnesota rural area, parking lot of township hall full but not crammed. Same as last several presidential cycles. Lines maybe just a little shorter than previous years.
I live in a deep red state but in a very blue city. Drove by one polling place and the line was extremely long. Decided to swing by my polling place and again, a very very long line. We use paper ballots that are then run through a machine that is NOT connected nor can be connected to the internet.
On my way now to go stand in line and vote. Did notice at my polling place earlier lots and lots of 30-40 year old women in line. And in my neighborhood, the Harris/Walz signs out number the Trump signs 4-1. Lunatics.
Small Upper Peninsula Michigan township, voted at 8:30 #44, the other three in voting when I was there were all Trump voters. County had all incumbent Republicans, zero Democrats running, My township had one Democrat, most of the Democrats switched to Republicans.
My grandmother was born in Sault Ste Marie and grew up in Manistique. I have always wanted to visit the UP as I hear it is incredibly beautiful. Thanks for the report!
My father’s family all came from Sault St Marie-we might be related! Small enough town back then…
Probably! I met a pastor years ago, serving at an orphanage in Mexico, whose last name was my maiden name. We got to talking and I discovered he had grown up in Escanaba. My hundred-year-old great aunt was still alive at the time and when I told her the names of his parents and grandparents, she said they were cousins of hers!
It is!
Wow! Adopt me!
El Paso, Texas (blue). I voted early with 100 in line. Today, I went by my regular voting place. Some cars in front but no line, it is a Region 19 so there are always people there. I got a report from another voter, not in my area. He said he was the only one there except for the poll workers. There are many local elections and only Democrats are running.
25 miles east of Atlanta, Ga. I voted at 10:00 am and there were only 2 people ahead of me, and I held the door for them.
Northeast Ohio conservative district. Steady flow of people but the lines moved quickly from station to station. My first ballot (2 pages, both sides) would not scan. The scanner kept rejecting it and said it could not read the marks. We had black ink pens and I thought the ovals were kind of small but I did have my glasses. I had to go back to the ballot table for a new one, but they said the ovals looked fine and to try again. So a worker had me try scanning 3 more times on 2 different scanners. Nope.
I went and got a new ballot. I watched as they “spoiled” the bad one and put it in a box. Went and colored in the ovals again, scanner worked fine.
I do not like that we can’t have a receipt of who our votes were registered for and how we voted on the issues.
Beautiful day here in Ohio. Everyone was in a happy mood it seemed. Going to go to the park and read my Bible for awhile.
Voted this morning here in deep blue Cuyahoga County, Ohio (just outside of Cleveland). Lines were long, but everything went smoothly. Friends of mine reported long lines for early voting over the last few weeks, so I expect overall turnout in the state to be pretty high.
I did notice fewer Harris signs over the last weeks compared to 2 months ago. But the local signs are still up, i.e. senate, judges etc. I think she managed to alienate some die hards.
My district has a large Orthodox Jewish population, so the returns for Trump should be interesting. Not enough to flip the county, but the precinct level data should be enough to give the Demonrats a scare.
Just got done voting in north AL: sign said only US Citizens can vote in Alabama elections, no early voting, ID required.
No real line in 2020 (I think I went at same time). My precinct had 50% turnout in 2020, 64% in 2016.
2020: Trump 72% Biden 28%
2016: Trump 60% Hillary 35%
The line was just to get a receipt to get in another line to get a ballot. Line was independent of voting line. Line was longer when I left and cars trying to get into parking lot was longer (horrible entrance).
I glanced at some ballots (the were filling out on a table), all Trump votes.
Saw a depressed looking (no joy) fluffy millennial wearing a Harris Walz shirt and one white female wearing a mask, but her “man” wasn’t 🤷♂️.
I would say well hit 65 to 70% turnout in this precinct with 65%+ for Trump.
People are definitely getting out to vote.
“wearing a Harris Walz shirt”
NOT that I agree with it, but isn’t political clothing verboten at polling places? Sounds like a conservative area, so no one made a big deal about it. Try wearing a Trump anything in a leftist area and I’m sure the result would have been different.
Just spoke to a friend in Florida. His mother in law went to vote this morning in Volusia County (East Coast). Her ballot had the bubble for Harris-Walz already blacked out when she received it! She complained and asked for another ballot, and they reluctantly gave her only a provisional ballot. Unreal.
Hope she reports this and sues them, if possible!
No, call the sheriff! That sort of monkey-business is illegal in every state. (I hope that she took a cell-phone picture of the document …)

Whiteout can fix that.
Loudon County Virginia
My wife, brother and I vote at different spots.
ALL DEAD. Empty. Nobody there. Been here my whole life, by far the emptiest ever.
More people watching us vote than voting.
Coworkers over the state line in WV say lines spilling into the street.
FWIW
I suspect that many democrats will not vote for Kamala and
also won’t vote for President Trump so they just will not vote at all.
I do not know one MAGA person who are not voting.
Looked up your county. 61.54% Dim in 2020. But it’s a no excuse required for mail ballot request state, so who knows.

Wikipedia co-founder says site is now ‘propaganda’ for left-leaning ‘establishment’

No voting issues in rainy Bennington, NE (nobody complaining, either, as we need the rain). But then, paper ballots can’t break down.
Probably half of the people here voted early, so although there were quite a few people at around 9 a.m., it wasn’t a big crowd. Perhaps voting in the late afternoon/evening will be more crowded.
Voted this morning. Heavy rain, long lines, lots of enthusiasm. Most people holding the county Republican endorsement sheet from the guy working the booth in the parking lot.
We have voter ID in Texas and it’s seamless. Adds maybe thirty seconds the the voting process. Anybody who claims this is too much is at best an idiot, at worst evil.
I’m a stay at home mom. I can’t do much. I contribute what I can through the books that I write; we can’t really take back our country until we take back our culture. I pray that if we all do what we can, my daughters won’t have to grow up in some post-technological version of Maoist China.
You have to “show identification” all the time – even in a bar, or when you buy beer. They scan the bar-code on the back of your driver’s license. It is completely nonsensical to suggest that “identification” should not be very-routinely expected when you vote. Nor that it imposes any sort of “burden” on the system, nor “disenfranchises” anybody at all. I think that those who suggest it are simply trying to cheat. Ballots, and voters, should be “uniquely identified.”
Was poking around on my county website and noticed they issued 185,014 more mail in ballots than registered voters. Totally normalz, nozing to zee here.. move alongz.
https://imgflip.com/i/99ag2v
Wouldn’t you want to report this to the RNC?
oh I did.
Got a reply from the RNC’s election integrity team saying..
“The county counts both the ballots they put into circulation and the active registered voters. This helps account for changes like party switches or address updates when voters receive new ballots after the initial ones have been mailed out.”
Sounds like a mess to me, but oh well.
Jeez, so that’s how they flipped the House seats back then…scum all of them.
Yup that’s how they flipped OC to install Katie Porker.
Rural Michigan North of Grand Rapids: Very busy but lines moving faster than I have ever seen here, poll workers are set up really well. We use paper ballots and I was able to vote straight republican and then the local offices. This is Trump country but we’re taking no chances here!
NE Grand Rapids, MI – voted early in person last Friday – took about an hour. There was a person outside (illegally – within the limit) handing out voting cards to people as they arrived – let election workers know and she wasn’t there when I left. Husband voted this morning – not much wait but election worker said they’re at about a vote/minute and they’ve never seen it like this. I’ve noticed voting places that I drive by have been packed with cars this morning/mid morning and this afternoon.
Our President Trump has fought through impeachments, a lying press, the big cheat, lawfare and unbelievably, two assassination attempts. Now we vote. I pray for a win and a landslide.
Clarion brought up Secretariat. That horse was.an inspiration. A wonder. Just like Trump’s journey has been for those who follow it.
Here is the great racehorse, Secretariat, as he runs the races of the Triple Crown.
There simply never was a horse like Secretariat … and there might not ever be again.
Thank you for posting this. I was lucky enough to see Secretariat win the Belmont live on television the day it happened. It brought tears to my eyes then because I realized I was seeing something that had never been done before. I was eighteen then. I’m almost 70 now and his Triple Crown records still stand. And that run in the Belmont still brings tears. What an incredible horse he was!
I remember a famous sports announcer, it might have been Al Michaels, talking about Secretariat. He said in the late 90’s that, “we never expected that the greatest athlete of the 20th Century wouldn’t be a man, but a horse!”
Mark Halperin…PA…
You have to consider the massive cheating in Philly and Pittsburgh.
much of their million vote lead in 2020 was the cheating … they couldn’t pull it off this year …
Recently saw a comment from another Treeper who couldn’t remember when or how they found CTH. I share this same lapse… but vaguely recall average # of comments was less than a 100, if that tells ya anything. Regardless, I’m just so thankful for this community.
What I am certain – this tree is filled with intellectual giants and spiritual warriors who’ve never failed sharing their knowledge or fellowship with me. None here lack courage, conviction or Faith. ALL united in common purpose – love for God and country.
I want to thank you – Sundance/CTH Team/Treepers – from the bottom of my heart, for allowing me to perch and chirp here. …and for not cutting my branch when I squawk.
On my way to vote now. Will report back soon.
MAGA🇺🇸🦅🙏🏻
Voted today at a suburb of a blue NC city. Its the first year with voter ID, which went smoothly. The one difference maker that I saw is that a poll worker asked each person as they came in to state their first and last name.
The election check-in machinery in our (northwest Georgia) location simply scans the back of your driver’s license. From this, they look up your registered address, ask you to confirm it, and then to sign your name to a tiny affidavit. Then, they issue you a “smart card” to take to the voting device. (Embarrassingly, I inserted the “this side up” card upside-down … 🤦♂️ …)

Pennsylvania county requests voting extension after ballot scanning ‘software malfunction’
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/live-blog/2024-election-campaign-live-updates-harris-trump/
Y’know, you’re supposed to carefully dry run(!) processes like this, weeks in advance, to be absolutely certain that “software malfunctions” won’t happen on the day-of …
They DID do the dry runs. That’s how they made sure the “software malfunctions” would happen…
Nothing changes. Just so they did the dry runs and found no problems, Or they fix those just so they can refute with the same old “The election was legit – not stolen”
Tricks of the Demons’ trade. Software malfunction announced publicly – on election day – but we got them fixed … all running as they should – no irregularities, enabling no cheating narrative set in place in anticipation for stolen election protests. Did any one read about the tow barcodes not matching on each slip? If you mark the name of your candidate it flips to the opposing candidate after your marking it and submitting it? Any narrative the 2 barcodes are for security and validation/verification is hogwash. Happens mostly only in Dem states.
It took these many years from initial evidence but no concrete action to indict or persons held responsible. Even with camera evidence of re-scanning same stacks of votes multiple times, Ruby and daughter walking scot free. Real time vote numbers stopped with sudden perpendicular rise overnight. Every devilish trick employed, corrupt officials bought and compromised with no recriminations. What’s to stop more nefarious tricks?
PA – issues with scanning ballots:
https://nypost.com/2024/11/05/us-news/widespread-voting-problems-reported-in-2-heavily-republican-pennsylvania-counties/
FTA: “The Pennsylvania Department of State said it has been made aware of the issues in Cambria County and is working with local officials to correct them.
“Voters are continuing to vote by paper ballot, in accordance with normal operations, while the county resolves the issue with in-precinct scanning,” the department said in a statement.
“We are working with the County to resolve this technical matter and remain committed to ensuring a free, fair, safe, and secure election.”
A similar issue is occurring in Bedford County, with officials saying they are quickly working on fixing the machines.
The ballots in the county will remain in a secured lock box until they can be counted, according to the local Election Board.
Several other counties in the state, including Blair, Somerset and Clearfield are allegedly down, but those reports have yet to be verified. ”
Looks to me that this is quite a problem in many places…
Similar happening in my polling place in western NY. Two scanners but only one operational. Local workers on phone seeking guidance.
I know these are volunteers, mostly seniors, and we should be grateful for them, but many seem in over their heads when it comes to technology.
Which is why Dan Bongino and others said to vote early if possible.
There goes the unsurprising pat spiel
““We are working with the County to resolve this technical matter and remain committed to ensuring a free, fair, safe, and secure election.”
https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/campaigns/presidential/3216247/when-will-we-know-who-won-the-2024-election/
What are they saying to people on the TV? My social media feeds are full of people praying for peace and asking people to be nice. It’s just weird.

Mid-Wisconsin city of about 70,000. Long line atypical for this polling place. Poll opened at 7 am. , arrived at 7:25; 45 people had voted. Line was about 125 people long with some outside in rain. Line moved inside in serpentine fashion to stay dry. Finished voting in 65 minutes was #145. Everything was running smoothly. Line was mix of ages from young to old. Area has mix of Democrats and Repiblicans; near University but does not include dorms.
Cars seemed to not have the typical bumper stickers that I have seen in the past. Turnout was exceptionally heavy though.
My impression is that the Republican GOTV operation is orders of magnitude better than any past election. The enthusiasm of Republicans is very apparent around town. Democrats will get out their vote too, but the lack of enthusiasm may tell with younger voters. Same day registration in Wisconsin, there were probably about 10-12 doing this all seemed older than usual, not the typical same day college students, although a couple were.
I read here a day or two ago that the Dems cannot pull the “stop counting” BS this time. Does anyone remember where that is coming from – is it a federal ruling or is it individual states? I cannot find anything online or by searching here on CTH (it seems the search does not look through comments).
I thnk they mean no one would by that happening again…they have
never explained why that happened last time.
It was more than that, someone linked an actual article saying why it legally cannot happen this time. I wish I could find it!
I think state law would control when counting stops. Cobb County, GA was going to count mail-in ballots that came in after election. GOP went to court and got a ruling that state law (ballots must be received by election day) applied. No COVID “emergency” this time.
Some places are extending voting hours because of machine problems. Think that all states have a rule that anyone in line when polls close must be allowed to vote.
Yes, it was a case of states violating their own state laws prohibiting any stoppage of counting on the theory that that could allow cheating. Don’t recall the details.
King County WA. There are more Trump signs than prior elections, but it’s unlikely we will be able to overwhelm the cheating with 100% mail in voting. There are red leaning areas in the state that will go Trump, but no one will be able to overwhelm the Seattle/Tacoma mail in fraud that takes place here. There are some issues they have found reading ballots in the machines. The location of the folds on ballots versus certain candidates locations on the ballots is causing some consternation on accuracy of the ballots being read.
Widespread voting problems reported in 2 heavily Republican Pennsylvania counties
https://nypost.com/2024/11/05/us-news/widespread-voting-problems-reported-in-2-heavily-republican-pennsylvania-counties
I hope they are exit polling.
Maryland, Anne Arundel County. Seemed like there were more people voting first thing this morning than usual. Nothing unusual during the voting process itself.
First result in from tiny New Hampshire town
https://townhall.com/tipsheet/leahbarkoukis/2024/11/05/dixville-notch-n2647280
Saw that Dixville Notch, NH voting went from 5-0 Biden-Trump in 2020 to 3-3 Harris Trump today. That is very good news.
Just voted in a county about an hour north of New York city, where the plebes live. Line of about fifteen people, good proportion of working class folks. County also has a very high hispanic population, mostly illegal, mostly church goers. Didn’t see anyone trying to vote, their community respects the law here and its a peaceful place.
Also used paper ballots then scanned into a machine and like a commenter below, I do not like that you get no verification of how your vote was actually counted.
Found in the bin… 🙁
Here in Reno they have installed panic buttons to call 911 should any election poll workers need a safe place.
Chester county. Steady line, but they don’t check IDs anymore. No more announcement if you are rinos or demonrats. At least we have two machines. 2020 it broke..vote.vote.vote. MAGA.
Fresno CA. Quiet. No lines.
Eastern North Carolina. Precinct observer. I’m seeing about 3 blacks voting to one white in a precinct that is about 50/50. Almost every black voter is carrying a blue sample ballot (with Democrat candidates checked) being given out outside – to help them “vote right”. Lots of masks! More drive up voters compared to past years. More provisional ballots (with new registration filled in today) this year compared to past.
There doesn’t seem to be a problem with people providing picture ID. Even without a picture ID, if have another ID, people can vote if they are registered and in the poll books for the precinct. Good many address corrections.
Democrats providing music outside and partying atmosphere. Once the precinct judge had to go out and move party groups back 25 feet from drive up area and doorway.
Poll workers seem very relaxed and friendly. It’s a beautiful day, blue skies with white puffy clouds and 75 degrees.
I’m hoping that Republicans and Trump supporters are not too relaxed about him winning – and fail to vote.
Voted last week.
Our parish had Mass this morning at 7am when the polls opened then Adoration until they close.
Went to Mass before work and will go back to Adoration after.
It’s in The Lord’s hands now.
Deep red state, not expecting shenanigans here. But every vote counts for popular vote purposes so hubby is voting too even though he doesn’t always because he thinks our state doesn’t matter much.
This year, every vote matters!
Rural SC…voter #2 in line, light turnout compared to 2020, same time. Poll worker said our district only had 600 voters remaining due to increase in early voting. Such a pleasant experience…makes me happy seeing people vote. Everyone was amazing and cheered when it hit 7.00 a.m.
SWMO, Joplin Area.
Line out the door this morning at 6:50am. I voted. In line with some multi colored hair people with scrap metal shoved in their faces….. I made it a point to thank them for coming out to vote. Hopefully, they’ll wake up in years to come. No hiccups to report.
My Penn State boys surprised me last night by coming in to vote. The Center City Greyhound was the only bus back to State College this morning so I got a glimpse of Temple and a few other interesting things. First, the Dems have put up large posters (up high, so they can’t be torn down) that say “Vote for Democracy” and on it is a picture of Obama, flanked by Harris and a black and white MLK. It’s emotional manipulation at its finest. If I were Black, it would piss me off, but I don’t know how effective it will be in the Hood. Last week, I drove through (all Black) North Philly and saw very little enthusiasm for Harris. In fact, I only saw *1* Harris sign in a window of a row home. The rest of the Harris signs were on the street lights and telephone poles.
My own voting precinct was crowded, but not as crowded as 2020. We waited about half an hour.
WE ARE!!!!!
I voted last Friday. My town offers curbside voting so I took advantage of that. I did my bit. I will say a few prayers for our country, go to work and maybe listen to the news after 830pm
God help our country.
A small village in Western NY. I voted early, 10/27. I had to run errands mid morning and after my last stop about 11am, decided to cruise by the polling place. The parking lot was full and a stream of people who lived in the village were walking to vote. I even met my State representative who lives in the village and had come to vote and we had a few words. A couple vehicles in the parking lot had handmade signs. President Trump wasn’t mentioned on the signs, but the gist was pro Trump. One read, “ I’m a veteran, I am not a loser, nor am I garbage. Vote for veterans!” When I think of how our veterans have been used and betrayed by the psychopaths running my State and country I have a hard time choking down feelings of white hot anger. Dear Jesus, please deliver us from the evil that stalks this land.
I ended up having to vote for a few dems for local offices. I hate that. Here, in Cobb Co., GA – there were several positions when the dem candidate was running unchallenged. I didn’t have a handy write-up name but also didn’t want the ballot to be unmarked, fearing that my ballot would be rejected if there were any blanks. I don’t think it matters in the end, b/c those unopposed dems are going to win no matter. Still, I didn’t like that.
In my Georgia county, if I leave an office unmarked, it will pop up a message pointing out you’ve done this and ask you to touch ‘yes’ if you want to do that.
I have encountered that problem occasionally, now in TN and years ago in VA.
In East Tennessee this usually happens with Rep. running unopposed.
If my vote is very likely not to change results or if I am not making a statement, I will write in my dad’s or my name.
If my vote matters for making a statement, I will vote all Rep.
My brother from Luzerne county, Pennsylvania just voted. There was a line at his polling place for the first time he ever remembers, but the reason seems to be that the voting machines were down, and they were using emergency paper ballots.
just voted
One of the highest populated precincts in my area (Upstate SC). Steady stream of voters but no line.
I targeted the rush crowds of before work and at lunch. About six workers taking IDs checking in voters I walked right up to 6th spot. on the floor there were about 25 voter machines and two scanners. no waiting just processed and left.
I am so happy to vote my President!!!
This was unexpected. I live in Cambria County PA. President Trump easily won this county in both 2016 and 2020. There are issues with a “software malfunction” preventing voters from scanning our ballots. Voters are being told to either come back later today or put their vote in a lockbox where they “promise” it will be counted later. Voting has been extended to 10pm.
There are reports from other “Trump Counties” with the same issue. I don’t know if it is true, but I read online that Cambria was one of the counties where republican poll observers were forced to leave for a short time. Supposedly, one of the roving attorneys employed by the RNC was called, and the poll watchers were returned.
It appears that they may be attempting the election theft in the smaller Pa counties this time. Thank God for the roving RNC attorneys. They are going to be busy today in PA.
Also – I noticed on my work computer (MSN) several articles about how much momentum Harris had in her campaign and how Trump was “grasping for straws”
Shameless journo Hussies!
SW Missouri, went to vote about 10:00 AM and it wasn’t busy at all. Maybe 50 people voting in there, and a steady stream of people coming and going. Was told that earlier it was super busy as people who were heading to work stopped there to vote. My wife was one of those people. This is a pretty red area, and there’re not hardly any down-ballot democrats, just a republican and a place for a write-in. Voted No on all the ballot initiatives except Amendment 7, which will change the Missouri Constitution so that you must be a US citizen to vote in state elections, and also will outlaw ranked choice style voting. Other years I’ve gone closer to noon and it was very busy, and I’m sure that will be the case again this year.
I had an interesting conversation with someone I dubbed the Kamala Harris Campaign Center of our cul-de-sac. KH and every other CT Dem sign in their yard. They are good people but have crap judgment on politics. I think they are just people like we all know, whose parents voted D, and thus they do it.
I ran into the husband while walking our dogs this morning. He’s in his late 30s. He came over to pet our dogs and shake my hand. He asked if I voted for Trump. I said yes; I did day 2 of early voting. He said a lot of people he knows, some Dems, voted for Trump in early voting (interesting, I thought). So, I followed up with the question”Did you tally your vote for your favorite Democrats?”
He literally looked around, like he was being watched, and said no. He voted for Trump and George Logan. I was like…WHAT?!?!?! I said but all of your signs. He said yes, he and his wife donated to all of them. However, he said they both decided to vote for Trump (he Logan, too, but his wife still voted for Hayes). I was taken aback and asked, “You and your wife both voted for Trump despite donating to KH and those others?” He said yes. I asked what changed.
Wait for this answer—he said it was because she refused to go on Joe Rogan. They listened to both Trump and Vance and were impressed by their answers and ability to converse. They wanted to see KH do it but never did because she wanted restrictions. They said that Trump (and Vance) sounded nothing like what he had been depicted as over the years. It changed their minds about the President.
I was blown away. And people said this Joe Rogan thing was blown out of proportion.
Hope he was being truthful and not just wanting to keep peace in the neighborhood!
He was, and that’s why he looked around. Plus, his body language said as much. Also, there is nothing to keep the peace over. It’s well known in my neighborhood that I am a military MAGA veteran- it’s why he asked if I voted for Trump- he knew the answer already, but it sparked conversation on election day. We all still get along and play nice- like it should be everywhere.
