DATA: While it is not my intent to interpret the data too much, I must say the current status of the EARLY VOTE looks good; very good for President Trump.
♦ IN PERSON EARLY VOTE ♦ – More than 38 million U.S. voters have gone in-person to vote, according to the latest data from the University of Florida’s Election Lab. Four years ago, that number was just over 35 million. Main Point: 2024 “In Person” early voting has already exceeded the 2020 result.
♦ TOTAL EARLY VOTE ♦ – In 2020 30% of “Total” early voters (in person and mail in) were Republican, almost 45% were Democrats. That gap has narrowed substantially. So far, 36% of “Total” early voters are Republican, and 38% have been Democrats. [*Note: while the numbers will grow, the percentages are not likely to change.] Main Point: A 15-point Democrat advantage has been dropped to 2%.
Here comes a jaw-dropping statistic….
♦ YOUNG VOTERS ♦ According to the Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE), 70% of young Americans aged 18-25 voted early in 2020. Currently, only 8% of those aged 18-25 are voting early. For some reason there has been a massive drop in early voting amid those aged 18-25. If this detached trend carries into Tuesday, well, it’s game over for Harris everywhere.

For readers who voted early, let us begin our ground reporting on precinct level activity.
What is happening in your neighborhood, town, hamlet, village, county or city? How are the polls AND VOTING in your area?
Ground reports have a record of accuracy.

As I said I’m voting first thing Tuesday morning.
Me too. And I’m not believing any “red wave” until I see it.
The point is not to believe any “Kamala wave” until and unless we get to examine the paper ballots and envelopes, the voter lists, and the insides of and code in the machines. If they freely let us do all that, and there are no serious questions about whether our own election laws were followed (spoiler alert, there already are serious questions), then fine, let’s install Kamala.
Otherwise, we install President Trump, because the Biden administration’s term is up, and we have warned the courts there would be election interference if the system was not corrected, and the courts didn’t stop the election. If the Harris team agrees to a transparent election that follows election laws and will not delay inauguration then let’s have a real election. If they don’t want a fair election, they can be assumed to agree that President Trump would win such an election.
What we can’t do is let them illegally stay in office.
President Trump will win!!!!! Again
Where I am, voting early means voting by machine, which I refuse to do.
So it’s first thing Tuesday morning with a paper ballot.
Isn’t the paper going into a machine to be scanned?
You are correct.
How many stories of voting machine issues have you read?
How many stories of scanning machine issues have you read? Not do-it-yourself ballot printing stories, scanning machine issues stories.
West Anaheim California Vote Center opened today for in-person voting and ballot drop off. My family voted early Oct 13 via drop box. Orange County texted our votes received and counted Oct 15.
Anaheim has total 17 Orange County Vote Centers open and 12 Orange County drop boxes placed in Anaheim in since Oct 7.
Very little attendance 1:30pm PDT with about six cars in lot.
West Anaheim District is 2 to 1 registered Dems to Reps. California is 100% mail-in Ballot starting October 7.
I know this is blue CT so it probably doesn;t matter
but my little town held a Trump truck parade today
with bikers and lots of cars and Trucks decked out
with Trump signs flags etc. It was a fundraiser fot
Back the Blue, It the closest thing to a Rally I got
to attend.. They were very enthusastic..
Haven’t heard any issues wiht early voting here
in CT this is the first year they are doing it. Will
see what the turn out is on Election Day.
Just an aside note don;t forget to turn your clocks back
tonight..
From CT you can reach out to any family and friends in New Hampshire and ask them to register/vote and encourage their friends to do the same!!! I’m in the same boat in blue MA, so off to NH I go!
What part of CT. I lived in Stratford before
Me too. Lived in Stratford for 20 years.
Jenevive, there was also one last Saturday that had nearly 100 cars and trucks. Some left from Winsted, CT on Rt. 8 heading South and a second convoy left from Seymour, CT heading North. They merged at exit Rt. 39 and went into Plymouth and then into Bristol, returning to Plymouth where a rally was held for a couple of hours and a BBQ was offered. There have been multiple, small rallies held throughout the state for months. They are headed up by a man named Palin Smith whose sole mission at this time in his life is to get President Trump re-elected and give him Republicans for the House and Senate. His Facebook page is called Connecticut for Trump.
It might be the same because this one started in Wolcott went thru Waterbury
to some eating establishment.. I was surprised at how many car
and bikers there were.
CT votes for Trump matter very much because Trump winning the popular vote counters Democrat push to abolish the electoral college.
What obvious comparisons! Not good!
What is that creature on the bottom right? Yikes!
Kamala’s stepdaughter. She is a model. Of what, I’m not sure
Fentanyl ads.
She’s the daughter of Kamala’s husband (Emhoff).
… more like Kamala’s handler!
Emhoff
Emhoff’s kid. Voted early in Central Texas. I always voted on Election Day. The greatly missed Rush Limbaugh recommended it. That was before Covid allowed the great steal. The dynamics have changed. I’m anxious but have faith that the Lord Jesus hasn’t given up on America yet. We need revival and hopefully a Trump presidency will usher it in. Look how much damage the marxists did in four short years. Anyone know what non-binary meant prior to the corrupt vote of 2020? Not a real word as we all know. Regardless, praying that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Children of presidents reflect the character of their father
In WA I took my ballot to the box at the police station and just now checked online and saw that it was received and counted – hopefully for Trump. No way of knowing for sure if they change it or not once they get it.
I caught part of the Megyn Kelly show on SXM a couple days ago where Nicole Shanahan was her guest talking about why she is backing Pres Trump.
One thing she said is her belief that about 70% of Americans want what a Trump presidency has to offer – secure border, no wars, economic security, healthy food, etc.
70% sounds right to me and I have been praying that our beloved President gets that percentage of the votes!
Sadly, far too many that want those things delusionally imagine the Democrats will also give them to them but do it in a “nicer” way.
Ground Report, Valdosta, Lowndes County, Georgia
We voted on the 17th. There was a line but it moved quickly. Finding nearby parking took longer than voting.
Today’s news:
Friday (last day of early voting) saw the longest lines here to date. A LOT of first time voters.
Nate Silver (of all people) has opined that the pollsters are skewing their results to perpetuate the “close race” narrative.
As of close of business Friday 01 Nov 2024 in Georgia:
3, 761,968 in person early votes
242,620 Absentee Ballots received.
That’s 4,004,588 early ballots in total, which represents 55.3% of registered voters. 92 of Georgia’s 159 counties have exceeded 50% turnout in early and absentee voting.
Party Split of Early Voting was R 48%, D 45% Other 07%
It’s starting to feel a LOT like 1980 to me when it comes to this election.
Thank you for those Georgia numbers. I was a Forsyth County poll worker this year, and every day was very busy, with the exception of Halloween. Everything ran smoothly with no areas of concern in our county. We only have one drop box, and it is located inside the Elections Bldg. with eyes on it while they are open. It cannot be accessed after hours.
In a red state in Pacific Northwest. Voted yesterday and saw many, many men 😉 Also, we’ve had vehicle parades for months now. Still praying up a storm and Monday from 8-8 will be a day of prayer and fasting.
Exactly what we need.
My wife and I for the first time in 50+ years have voted early in southeastern North Carolina (Brunswick Co), waited 40 minutes (1100hrs) on the first day.
Your chart lists 4,174,600 early voters as of yesterday, 01NOV24.
My fear, is this?
Given the fact that IMO, the socialists have already enacted their voter fraud/media circus measures. Given Harris is no match for President Trump.
So, by us Republicans Voting early this cycle, are we simply providing them with a close estimate, of our Voting potential, along with an unlimited amount of time, resources and immigrant voters. Thereby enabling them to Crank-Out, whatever amount of Votes necessary, to clear the way for their Victory?
I guess only time will tell? However by then the No-Climb Fencing, the plywood covered windows and the National Guard troops will all be in-place around the Capital, the White House and the storefronts in DC.
The Counting of the Votes is where this war will be decided and that’s out of our control. . .
Some votes can be cranked out but there are many more eyes and cameras and threats of prosecution or at least exposure than ever before.
Plus you can only pad the vote so much before you run out of population.
Nothing like an outcome where the early voting and day of tabulations results require the mail-ins to exceed the total number of registered voters.
That is when you know the Establishment has lost.
That is _always_ my response to the “Vote Early” mantra; that while we are pushing the narrative instead of reacting to it, it also allows the 2:00 AM steal to have a better idea of the amount of phony ballots to produce…
The one problem the voter fraud folks will have is that there will be actual documentation of how many new republican registrants ie votes compared to democrats and explaining how that did not have an impact on the race will be virtually impossible to overcome legally. Basically it is proof of fraud and it may actually inhibit their fraud plans or at least provide submissable court documentation. So ballot stuffing, voting machine fraud will be far less possible to have accepted and explained.
The plywood and the fencing is already going up in DC. They ain’t taking no chances!
“The Counting of the Votes is where this war will be decided and that’s out of our control”
This is the problem. Counting of the votes should NEVER be out of the control of the American people. In Colorado we are getting people, parties, and counties to demand the election machines not be used to count this election – the most obvious reason being the Secretary of State had BIOS passwords on the Internet for months.
All states should be demanding likewise, especially since Dominion said the “glitch” (hint, it was a feature not a bug!) in Michigan would require a patch nationwide. A PATCH IS NEW, UNCERTIFIED SOFTWARE.
I understand that some feel that age old proverb, The Numbers won’t lie. That ultimately the tabulation must balance out, so many residents must total out, to so many Voters. I can no longer accept that as a mathematical fact, given the tremendous Variable! Created by a very well planned out dispersing of countless Illegal aliens. Most of the Targeted counties in America those in Key States. Have no idea how many residents are in fact Registered to Vote, or, how many residents will show up, In-Person to Register and Vote on Election Day. . .
Even with the Early Vote surge, the above graphic still shows, a 2% lead for Registered Democratic Voters. That difference in the 2%, is almost 80,000 votes.
Bloomington MN.
Early in-person voted couple days ago.
We have a repeal of Ranked Choice Voting on the city ballot that when implemented in 2020, won by only hundreds of votes during peak covid. That has a chance of winning because people have experience with the confusing aspect of it.
Minnesota also has a ballot question about renewing some of our lottery dollars going to the environment. What the democrats don’t advertise is that if it passes they will create a commission of 4 brown and black folks, 4 indigenous, and 2 regular folks that will prioritize the money to specific DEI woke environmental causes, what ever the hell that is. That is a NO.
Our city has a pretty well organized early voting process with plenty of people to guide us through filling out the form, verifying identity, getting the right ballot, and running it through the tabulator.
More here.
https://alphanews.org/2024-election-guide-heres-what-you-need-to-know-about-the-upcoming-elections-in-minnesota/
Minneapolis makes it hard to vote early only a couple places to cast a vote.
There’s stories out there that the Harris campaign is giddy and sure they are gonna win Tuesday.. Those were leaked for a reason.. To discourage us.. Don’t let it…
I’ve been a ground-pounder in two UK General Elections, the Harris campaign has the stench of failure cloaking it, the Trump campaign the opposite. In the last few days it becomes pretty obvious which campaign wants more time and which one wants to call time and get on with preparing to govern.
These ‘happy’ stories are usually to prevent diminished voter turnout, despair amongst campaign staff and its premature collapse. It’s the political equivalent of saying the cavalry are an hour away, just hold on, knowing they’re got themselves into a bit of bother at a place called Little Bighorn!
Do let it inspire redoubled effort!
Michigan near Flint.
Went to drop off our Ballots, parking lot was packed for early voting.
I voted early in person for the 1st time as I was always an ED voter. Got hubby there today.
Enthusiasm seems high, even for Long Island NY
we are the center right part of the state. Which is actually what the state is like outside of the city.
People are openly discussing that they’re voting for trump & I haven’t since that since 2016.
I was very encouraged that the MSG rally went off w/o any violence. I thought outside would be a shit show. There are still protests over Gaza happening in NYC. If I would have known I might have gone!
Independents & moderates have to be breaking for Trump bc the main thing I keep hearing is “the crazy has to stop!”
Took my 20 year old son and voted early in NJ today. Two for Trump. I’m working on getting some of his friends to vote as well. Steady flow of people and they had 8 booths and many workers. Took 5 min. Very well done here in Somerset NJ.
Im in Lutz Florida , suburb just north of Tampa . All I see is Trump signs everywhere.
Just back from a visit to friends in nearby Wesley Chapel FL. Saw lots of signs for local races and those 2 ballot measures (legalize weed and legalize unrestricted abortion). In fact, the airwaves had far more pro and con abortion and weed ads than for candidates.
I think GOP does well in FL, but you never know….
Nov. 6th can’t get here soon enough.
Just returned from a flag waving in Bucks County PA. Very enthusiastic crowd! Almost every car/truck passing by honked, waved, shouted. Very positive respond! We were filmed and interviewed by journalists from Australia and Estonia. They were so impressed with what we were doing! They said that the rest of the world needs Trump to win also. What an inspiring day! I’m so sad that was probably my last Trump event.
Southeastern Tennessee. Voted early, no issues. In and out in 10 minutes.
I voted in Duxbury Massachusetts yesterday, I was surprised how robust the turnout was at 10 AM on a Friday. The police officer on duty told me it had been a busy week. My plan is to head to New Hampshire tomorrow to help get out the vote Monday/Tuesday! POTUS 45 can win there! I’ve already encouraged 5 NH friends to register and vote there!!! Go Trump 45/47
That Lily Tang Williams in NH seems like the real deal. I pray she wins.
In my precinct in TX, as of this past Tuesday, 81% of registered Republicans had voted. Our early voting ended last night so I’m hopeful that number is even higher!
It’s now 93% for 4186 and 92% for 4185.
Wahoo!!
I will give credit where credit is due.
Michael Whatley and I sharply disagree on the 2020 election, especially in NC.
I have been critical of the RNC legal team this year pertaining to their attitude toward election rigging, but they have been on the ball and where they needed to be in many cases.
Bucks County and Atlanta this week are two excellent examples.
S. Keshel
Wait – “Vote Counter” Seth Keshel??? Any predictions?
Voted early last Wednesday afternoon in Western South Dakota. Here early voting is done at the county auditor’s office.
Showed my requested ID to the auditor, who happened to have been in my high school graduating class and lives down the street from us.”It’s the law,” she said. And we both laughed. “The way it should be, ” I said. And she agreed. They were well set up for voting with over a dozen booths. I had to sign and date the ballot envelope while under her watchful eye then she gave me a paper ballot. I went, filled it out with the provided black ballpoint pen, placed it in it’s envelope and she watched me put it in the locked ballot box on the office counter. She said that they had had over 6000 voters so far this election, which is very slightly higher than usual, but that Wednesday was very slow. It had snowed a foot the night before, so not many out that day.
Voted in Ada County Idaho yesterday. The lines went around the block and it took about 2 hours to vote. No one left the line while I was there and it got longer as the day stretched out. The election officials were staffed up but extremely shocked to see this kind of turn out this early which, according to them, has never happened before.
Newsom’s crappy CA economy has sent many Californians to Idaho which is turning Boise (the capital) from Red to purple. There were more Harris signs this year than Biden signs in 2020 but the Trump signs clearly outnumbered them.
I am part of a multidisciplinary medical practice and have many new patients that relocated from California. They all have bemoaned the high taxes, serious crime, poverty and filth of the cities they left i.e LA, San Diego, San Fran and others. When I asked them if having that kind of perspective coming from where they were in CA previously would it change their voting habits? They all answered including the wives and/or husbands that they just couldn’t force themselves to vote conservative. (After hearing that I struggle to keep from taking the needle & syringe filled with Windex out from the desk drawer…just kidding…or am I??)
I am so pissed that Californians fleeing the state are still voting like idiots. They don’t see cause and effect. This EX-Californian mailed in my absentee ballot for Trump/Vance and Hung Cao, who is running for Tim Kaine’s seat. (Yes, Hillary’s Tim Kaine.) Hung Cao got a shout out at the Trump rally in Salem, VA today.
In my tiny conservative town in MA, I’ve always before voted on Election Day. Never had more than one person ahead of me.
This year, husband and I voted on different days in the middle of last week at Town Hall. He had one person there and I was alone. Signed an envelope and printed my name and street address. Then sealed my folded ballot into that envelope and stuffed it into the box. Was told that early voting was 40 percent of town’s registered voters but he didn’t know the previous years’ numbers so I couldn’t tell anything from that. He said normal voting in our town is 70-80 percent of the registered voters. The three people running the room all agreed that voting was heavier than usual.
We had a 45 minute wait. We have three 1st time voters with us, Daughter, (18), Son, (21) Son’s girlfriend (19). Poll Workers announced and celebrated the 1st time voters people in lime cheered and applauded them.
Poll workers were younger and male. (This is new) for our area. 75% Republican County in Texas.
Long lines for the entire two weeks. Heavy turnout here.
There is no official “early voting” in Pennsylvania, BUT in lieu of this, the Bureaus of Elections have been open for several weeks where a voter could “apply” in person for a Mail-In Ballot, complete it on site (outdoors or in one’s vehicle in my county), and turn it in to the BoE officials on the spot. This is the PA version of “early voting”.
I used this process to cast my ballot on Monday of this past week.
It was an interesting experience, but my confidence in election security continues to remain low.
There was a decent sized group of people on the premises when I arrived right after lunch time. I estimate about 70 voters. The size of the crowd didn’t seem to change much even though people were leaving as others arrived. The wait time, from arrival on premises to completion of the process, was more than two hours, but I did not actually time it. It was long enough that I called my husband twice to tell him that I was still waiting to lay hands on my ballot.
The process was:
Sign-in on employee’s clipboard, with employee standing in BoE doorway.
Voter was then handed an application to “vote by mail”.
No entry of voters was allowed more than a couple of feet inside the County BoE entrance doorway – solely to receive the application handed to you, complete the app, turn it back in, and then wait, wait, wait for your name to be announced to go get your ballot – and its multiple envelopes in the package.
Ballot completion was done outdoors or in one’s vehicle. After waiting a couple of hours to get my ballot I went to sit in my car to do the important stuff. When I returned to the open doorway to submit my completed ballot – to actually vote – I was allowed to cross the doorway perimeter, asked to remove the inner envelope and discard the outermost envelope. Then the employee took the rest of the “package” from me and I was able to watch her place it into a depository that was similar to a U.S. mail slot.
1) The county Bureau of Elections was the only location available in my own county to vote “early”. For us it was an easy drive into and across town, but for other county residents it is quite a drive. I think locations other than BoE buildings were utilized in places like Bucks County – where it is alleged that there were circumstances occurring that seemed deliberate to discourage voter participation.
2) Fortunately the weather was beautiful as everyone was required to wait outdoors. After submitting one’s application, you had to be outdoors to hear your name being called to come fetch your ballot package.
3) No restroom services were available. The indoor facilities of the building we pay for were closed to the public.
On Wednesday, I checked online to ensure that my ballot had been received and I HOPE – PRAY – IT IS BEING TALLIED ACCORDING TO THE WAY I ACTUALLY COMPLETED AND CAST IT.
To this day, four years after the nightmare of General Election 2020, I still don’t know – and never will – how my vote for President Trump was recorded and counted. All of it? Part of it (fractals)? None of it? Was my own vote counted as one for Hidin’ Biden? SPIT!
The voters were great – lots of small groups formed to chat as we all waited. If the weather had been miserable, who knows how turn-out would have resulted?
My new 3′ x 5′ double sided Trump banner was just delivered, along with a beautiful safety vest – which I will be wearing outdoors at my polling place down the road, all day on Tuesday.
Deepest Blue California next to Stanford Univ. Wife and I voted with no wait. Easy Peasy to get a paper ballot and marked it with no on almost all the whacko propositions. Curious to note the almost total lack of any Harris/Walz signs…my neck of woods was flooded with Obama or Hillary signs in the past. Almost like people are embarrassed to have a blue sign out front…..
too many Harry Walls signs in Los Angeles county. I contacted local RNC outposts asking for yard signs. They were difficult to reach. The yard signs were hard to come by and not free. I contacted local DNC outposts and discovered all the various signs were being passed out for free.
I always take the time to remove Harryballz signs off of public property.. Its the least I can do.
Ditto Denver metro area. If you pay attention, the Trump signs (there are many!) are clearly more organic (homemade/have been up for a long time/on private property) than Harris/Walz but low-information voters probably won’t notice the difference.
Here in Middle TN, I voted early and there were 4 or 5 people that were also voting at the same time. It was early. 🤣
I then proceeded to pick up my brother, who does not drive, and take him to his early voting polling center.
WOW…there were 10 people going in the door continually, and 10 coming out…very busy. Good sign.
I realize Tennessee is a given Trump State. I had read somewhere that early voting in Davidson County (Nashville) was down. Nashville is a Dem stronghold.
As is Memphis.
Also a Middle TN resident. We voted in Brentwood a couple weeks ago. About 40 people in line then, but it went fast.
GOP is gonna sweep here as usual.
As some may know, the supermajority GOP legislature 4 years ago took Davidson County/Nashville Congress District and carved it up combining part of it with a very GOP strong CD, and then putting the other 2 thirds NTO 2 other GOP majority CDs. Result was elimination of a Dem safe seat from Nashville. Now only Dem Congressman is that Commie from Memphis named Cohen.
Was listening to Matt Murphy, 99.7 host, talk about being butt-hurt because Ogles won’t return his calls, said he voted for an independent instead of Ogles. Apparently Matt wears his emotions on his sleeve. 🤣🤣. I like Matt Murphy overall, but come on dude, quit being an azz. 🤣
Ogles — who is my Congress Critter! — is a real hard ass when it comes to opposing the Mitch McConnell RINO caucus in DC. The Establishment hates him! They high funded a woman from Nashville to oppose him in the primary — didn’t work as Ogles still won by double digits.
Matt is one of those fake conservatives who wear their sanctimony on the sleeves.
I think Matt Murphy says he’s libertarian, but throwing Ogles under the bus publicly was a little too much.
Winning the national popular vote is important to counter Democrat efforts to delegitimize a Trump Electoral win and to defuse their efforts to eliminate the electoral college.
Douglas County Omaha. We have one early voting site one! Can’t get close to it hundreds in line no matter the weather.
It looks like Ga. is cheating again. The only way to end this is to arrest these people . Every ballot needs to be checked for accuracy.
https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/11/urgent-breaking-four-georgia-counties-decide-last-minute/
Amen to that! No telling how much cheating Fulton County accomplished.
Would the 18-25 year olds not voting be those indoctrinated by the education system?
Why would they not be voting this time?
Possibly because their leftist professors told them Trump was a fascist, and their intelligence told them that Kamala was a disaster.
(1) The shameless lies of Democrats are too blatant. All the enthusiam is for Trump. They didn’t vote for Harris in a primary and feel no urgency to support her now.
(2) No new wars under Trump. The Democrats are pushing war.
(3) Inflation hurts everyone especially people taking out loans to go to school and whose delivery pizza cost and gas has zoomed.
(4) Illegals and crime can be a factor.
(5) Transgender (men) competing in womens sports is a big deal that counters the abortion fearmongering.
I remember very clearly when I turned 18 and had to register for the draft in the middle of the Vietnam war, I knew what every politician’s position was on the war.
Earlier this year or last year the democrats started hinting at renewing the draft. I am sure it got a lot of the draft age kids attention. Especially when they talked about drafting girls. They quit talking about it fairly quickly.
Also a lot of them are noticing how far their paycheck doesn’t go any more.
Very important: ANY relatives, friends, acquaintances you have in [more or less] deep BLUE states… if you are reasonably sure they might vote Republican but think they may be discouraged by where they live . . . DO encourage them as nicely and insistently as you can to GO vote.
Even if things go our way, getting a big margin in the popular vote for the Real President is where every single (even hopeless, Electoral College-wise) vote DOES count. Even in California!
Yes, I haven’t been following the latest updates. Any states officially use the popular vote winner gets the Electoral College votes?
I bet win Trumps wins the popular vote as well, they’ll stop with their non-sense for a bit.
YES!!! I am in Washington State and we have all mail voting so there is no way that our state won’t go for Kamala, BUT, as I keep telling people around me, we have to keep voting because it’s harder for them to push crap through if the votes were only 53-47 in their favor. If we stop voting and they start getting 70-30 margins, they will be able to run wild and completely destroy us!
(But, it IS discouraging, and we do talk about leaving, even though my husband and I were both born and raised here and we love our home, our church, and the beauty of this area.)
Thank you, mom.
Don’t give up Mom – Texas was deep Blue the first 25-30 yrs I voted. It turned Red because of 2 things – Banking Scandal & then Gov Ann went Anti-gun. Been Red ever since.
Washington actually used to be pretty purple – Libertarian/left leaning on social issues but pretty fiscally sane and very safe and respectful of the law…
However, in the late 70s,/early 80s we got some leaders in Seattle who really pushed for progressive policies and then, in the mid/late 80s, all of the Californians who had ruined their own state decided to head north! I could go on in nauseating detail about all of the ways that my once beautiful state has been stolen from me, and others like me, who DO recognize that we will never be the Bible Belt but we don’t want to self destruct either!
Unfortunately, that seems to be the path that the current leadership is choosing and since we have almost NO honest media and a completely dysfunctional Republican Party, it may be time to pull the plug, as much as I don’t want to do that…
That was a different type of Blue. Same all over the South.
100% Yes. Winning the national popular vote is important to counter Democrat efforts to delegitimize a Trump Electoral win and to defuse their efforts to eliminate the electoral college.
Went yesterday in KY. Ballot was paper fill in the dots and fed into a machine to be read. Machine didn’t give a receipt to verify how the vote was recorded, I’m not the only one who commented on this as a bit sketchy.
As far as those stats are concerned, there are 7 states in 2024 that did not report early voting in 2020. Five of them are Republican states (AR, UT, ID, WY, WV) and 2 are Democrat (DE, RI). Also, there was one state in 2020, LA, that for some reason does not report in 2024. So that gap of the Democrat lead being reduced by 13% from 2020 may be a bit less than that, but still big in the overall picture.
My vote is in…
West Virginia here early voting started Wednesday at 9 AM. I arrived at 12 o’clock waited 2 1/2 hours in line and was number 612 when I voted. As I was leaving the building the line had stretched down a full block and around the building just a super turn out.
UPDATE FROM GEORGIA REPUBLICAN PARTY CHAIRMAN JOSH MCKOON
“I have been apprised that after refusing to admit our poll watchers that Fulton County and other counties are now allowing our poll watchers to observe the voting activity occurring today.
It is unacceptable that the decision was made to open these locations without notice or authorization from any party charged with elections administration.
Our legal team is evaluating our next steps with regard to today’s decision allowing this activity in the first place.
I am grateful to RNC Chairman Michael Whatley, our legal and election integrity teams for jumping on this issue immediately.
While we should not have to alert the public to have Georgia law enforced, I am pleased that lawful observation is now occurring.
Let me be absolutely clear: we will not tolerate violations of Georgia election law and will vigorously defend the integrity of this election every step of the way.”

Doesn’t change the fact that early voting in Georgia officially ended on Friday, November 1st.
I voted early over a week ago,was busy, 11/1/24 went to city hall Kuna,Id. I said to myself what is going on, the parking lots were full all the side streets. I lucked out one handicap spot in front, the line was around the block. I have live here 27years and have never seen this. Here it is 90 to 10 republican to demrat.
Voted early in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma today. I arrived at the early voting center 30 minutes before it opened and the line wrapped around the building twice. Stood in line for almost 4.5 hours before I could vote. I didn’t live here in 2020, so I asked the guy in front of me if it were this busy in 2020. He said no, the wait time was around 2 hours.
Voted early in Pa by going to courthouse, requesting mail-in ballot, filling out and turning in same day. I live in a pretty red area. Went on Monday morning a week ago during normal work hours. I was very surprised at the size of the line for that time/day.
TN early voting consistently long waits.
Well there is no face planting A51 campaigns being run this time around.
My hunch is the 18-25 age group left to trying to figure out what to stand on finds wokie brokie social angst just does not cut it anymore with long term goals.
Voted early in GA on a Sunday a week ago with my husband. We were the only 2 voting at that time although people were coming in as we left. I will say that I walk every day where they have their early voting and I have not noticed any buses bussing in people like I have in past years. Also, I live in a diverse area, but the majority of people I have seen voting are white.
One of my children lives in VA and voted early this week. He said the line was longer than he had ever seen it (probably a hundred people in the middle of the day on a Wednesday).
😊 😊 😂 😂
Western Washington – True Blue King County sets the tone for the entire state, which is all mail balloting, unfortunately…
But, as a slight encouragement, I will share a story of a young man who started coming to our church in 2020. He had just gotten out of rehab and decided he wanted to know more about this “Higher Power” he kept hearing about. He was 28 and had never set foot in a church in his life! My husband started mentoring him and we have gotten really close to him – family is all in California.
Anyway, he called me last week and had me walk through his ballot with him. Said he had never even registered to vote before but now he feels like it is really important to make his voice heard! As we were finishing the conversation, he said, “Well, you not only helped me, but a bunch of the guys I work with who are all my age. None of us knew what we were doing but now that you explained everything to me, I feel like I can explain it to them, and we can have a ballot party!”
I know its Washington so it probably won’t swing the election but it was a start and it made me really happy to see young people getting involved and understanding that it is THEIR future on the line!
Congrats and well done, VM!
A hearty thank you for taking the time and helping him.
I long for a time when our populace talked about issues, even ones we didn’t agree on.
As far as it being Washington, every single vote matters and voting empowers a citizenry. Heaven help us should they succeed in taking that away.
I told him not to be discouraged if the candidates and propositions he voted for did not win this time around but to be proud that he had participated and made his voice heard. If more people would make the effort to do that, we could take back this country from the crazy leftists who were running it now! I truly believe they are a small, but loud and aggressive, minority!
Reside in the “blueberry floating in the tomato soup “ (City of Austin/Travis County, Texas).
Wife & I voted earlier this week. Only interesting thing to offer is that while we always vote early, which usually takes about 15 minutes, this time we were in line for about 1.5 hours. This is far more than what we’ve experienced in previous elections.
WRT the huge % drop of young voters from 70% in 2020 to 7% currently — could this be reflecting that in 2020 most of that was fraud mail in votes of registered voters who never voted?
As to drawing a positive WRT the numbers of early voting Republicans —- be careful….who’s to say that this increase is a NET increase, and that Election Day in person voting by Republicans won’t be lower…because they voted early?
I think you could easily be correct, but it wasn’t “fraud” mail, it was from kids who were on the voter rolls, but only voted because it was so easy by mail AND they had been so successfully propagandized about Trump.
Which also goes along with my belief that voting by mail potentially dilutes more informed votes because it allows voting with minimum effort, like the proverbial “phoning it in” instead of making the effort to get off the sofa, travel, and stand in line to vote and giving up the pot and beer long enough to be able to do so legally.
With an attention deficit, dumbed down, easily propagandized citizenry, making voting effortless by mail is dangerous.
Totally agree with your logic about the mail in voting. I think mail voting should only be in the form of absentee voting where a voter overtly requests a ballot. Just mailing them out is pure fraud bait.
Remember to differentiate between vote-by-mail and absentee voting that you sign up for. I have the kind of job where I can drive 150 miles in a day going to different jobs, and I never know where I am going to be on election day or if I will get to the polls on time.
Yep, I refer only to everyone on the voter rolls getting a ballot without requesting one because that takes ZERO effort.
Thanks!
You might be right. Many young people are college students, and this time of year, they are doing research papers or are in the thick of their semester. Many get sick this time of year as well. It takes a lot to get them to the polls or to apply for an absentee ballot (if they’re in school out of state). My girlfriend is teaching here in the Northern Virginia area and her students have not shown a lot of interest in this election. Her department keeps sending emails to get the professors to push the kids to vote.
Remember that the youth vote is now 4 years older than in the last election. The last of the gen Z crowd is now entering college. (Gen alpha will enter college in 2028). These late Gen Z kids remember spending their high school years or first year of college on Zoom. They are the pandemic kids who were not old enough to vote in the last election. These kids are the product of the wokest education system we have ever had thus far. I’m not sure how to read them. My girlfriend says that they are a little lost. They are entirely accepting of transgender and the whole alphabet soup of sexual orientations. However, they know they will never be able to buy a house and are very anxious about their futures. They spend a lot of time on Tik Tok and text through class. My girlfriend thinks they are escapist.
Ground report. Battleground state. Schools and businesses are anticipating election-related unrest. Local school districts are sending out notices informing parents that the schools might move to online-only following Election Day if there are “strong reactions” (their words) to the election result. Store managers on local social media are reporting that they receiving “de-escalation training” in anticipation of Election Day.
In other news, there’s a suprising number of Trump signs in neighborhoods and towns that are usually deep blue. Still outnumbered by Harris signs, unfortunately, but a big improvement over 2016 and 2020. Trump, Trump, and more Trump once you leave the blue areas. In a fair election, Trump would be the clear winner here.
The schools will go online after the election? Do they expect Antifa to show up?
From SD but was in Vegas last weekend for golden knight hockey games. 3 o’clock game on Friday was packed. Whole row in front of of local all MAGA fans. One young man wearing a very worn 2024 MAGA hat. He looked like he had just come from work for the game. I commented on his hat and he showed me pictures of the rally the night before. His first and was so excited. Another guy was on his phone Al,ost the whole game checking on where Trump was at. We have gone to many games over the last 8 years and noticed something different during the national anthem. Crowd always shouts knight when the line “gave proof through the night”. Now they shout free at the line “land do the free”. Just an interesting observation about the local Nevada crowds.
