Bucks County is the milquetoast capital of Pennsylvania. The viewpoint amid the professional republican officials there, is that President Trump must adhere to their constructs.
Showcasing this mindset, the purple Bucks County officials decided they were going to use their own arbitrary timelines to shut down early voting. The local Democrats called in law enforcement and the video at the bottom of the page shows the outcome.
However, the RNC and Trump campaign found out what the Bucks County republicans and democrats were doing, and they filed for immediate relief from the court [SEE HERE] A judge intervened and has now extended the early voting deadlines by 3 days.
PENNSYLVANIA – A Pennsylvania judge on Wednesday sided with Donald Trump’s campaign and agreed to extend an in-person voting option in a suburban Philadelphia county where long lines on the final day led to complaints voters were being disenfranchised by an unprepared election office.
Judge Jeffrey Trauger said in a one-page order that Bucks County voters who want to apply for an early mail ballot now have until Friday. The narrowly divided county, which is led by Democrats, is often seen as a political bellwether.
The Trump campaign’s lawsuit, which was filed Wednesday morning, comes amid a flurry of litigation and complaints over voting in a battleground state that is expected to play a central role in helping select the next president in 2024’s election.
The lawsuit sought a one-day extension, through Wednesday at 5 p.m., for Bucks County voters to apply in person for a mail-in ballot. The judge’s order permits applications through the close of business on Friday. A county spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the ruling. I think one or more of these people may have been working the line at the County Court House where I switched to early in person voting on 10/24 in PA, because the absentee ballot I had requested on August 24th had never shown up.
After I had been waiting for about 2 1/2 hours, this model of efficiency materialized seemingly from out of nowhere, and hustled me through the voting process at a brisk tempo I was only too happy to accommodate.
Something seemed off/odd about her atttitude. She was overly solicitious, almost cloyingly sweet, constantly assuring me that she was only there to make it easier for me to successfully fill out a ballot. It occurred to me that she would have made an ideal con artist, specializing in people who were obviously retired.
As soon as I gave her my completed ballot, she handed me off to another person, who had me on my way before I could ask about the chain of custody, and for some kind of documentation that confirmed my vote had ever been cast. When I looked around for her she had disappeared.
Correct procedure is that after completing the ballot the voter goes to the table where the poll workers and the lists of voters, the ballots and the ballot drop box is. There’s a slot in the front of the box for the voter to put his ballot in the box. The voters are supposed to put the ballot in the box.
Sketchy as hell.

It used to be the case that 95% of them would have entered the exact same Order.
But that was a long time ago.
I think I knew the Judge who signed that Order when he wasn’t a judge.
Well … Bucks County is a little more complicated than that description!
Time for a little primer about Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
The central part of Bucks (Central Bucks into Doylestown/Jamison and north) is more along the lines of the affluent sneering elitists and “Country Club” Republicans described in this column. These are where the county’s worst snobs live. It starts somewhere just past Newtown and runs north east towards and around Doylestown, via Route 413 and Bristol Road. It also extends outward along 202 heading towards New Jersey, into the artsy-fartsy areas of New Hope.
Doylestown, the heart of Central Bucks County, is the county seat, and where the Courthouse and County Government sits.
But then you have the lower end of the county (Lower Bucks) adjacent to Philadelphia, and the upper end (more towards Quakertown and heading towards Lehigh County). Both of these areas are dramatically different from Central Bucks.
But Lower Bucks has been traditionally lower-middle blue-collar working class. Lower Bucks was the home of the gigantic USS Fairless Works in the early 1950s (WWII vets and steel workers), and that economic strata and demographic has generally persisted, despite the eventual shutdown of that mill. And it is today predominantly Democrat leaning.
And Lower Bucks County is where most of the people that live in Bucks actually live. Bensalem Township was for many years the third largest municipality in Pennsylvania, right behind the Cities of Philadelphia and Pittsburgh. And Bensalem is decidedly NOT the land of crustless finger sandwiches. It is the land of McDonalds and Texas Roadhouses.
President Trump’s McDonald’s visit was to Trevose, somewhat closer to Philly proper, but further away from the core Lower Bucks Delaware River communities of Bensalem, Bristol, Levittown and into Morrisville. Actually, a stone’s throw from Neshaminy, and not very far at all from Bensalem, which is what made the visit so remarkable. This is a very middle working class area just outside the “Great Northeast” section of Philadelphia.
Further north in the lower end are the cheese-eating communities of Newtown and Yardley, well infiltrated by liberals from North Jersey and NYC over the decades, and also Democrat leaning, but for different reasons than among the communities closer in to Philadelphia.
This area of Bucks County, extending along the Turnpike corridor almost into Montgomery County, is the congressional district that the Democrat who pretends to be Republican, Brian Fitzpatrick, draws from.
When you head up-county, north of Doylestown, it is much more rural, although it has grown increasingly more ‘gentleman’ rural over the years, as wineries have replaced sod and other farms. And this end is traditionally more conservative. North of Doylestown is where you will find the number of Trump signs increasing, as you head up Route 313, past Dublin.
So Bucks County Pennsylvania is actually a somewhat mixed county economically and politically. It leans Republican, but with a heavy blue lower end.
And Bucks is a core battleground county among the “ring” counties surrounding Philadelphia, with those four counties (Bucks, Montgomery, Chester & Delaware) historically deciding most state-wide Pennsylvania races.
Thanks for the primer. The crustless sandwich crowd (love it!) are voting for their own elite lifestyle. We can only hope that they all send their kids in for gender transition and destroy their lives. Then, the voting patterns might change in Central Bucks.

I live in Bucks County in Warminster which is considered Central Bucks. Most of us are originally from the city. We are middle class working people. We are a mixture of R and D but there are Trump signs everywhere. The McD’s was actually in Feasterville. We just had an event with a local radio station to show support for McD’s because they have been getting death threats.

If /when President Trump takes the Oath of Office, I hope one of his admins early priorities is to create a Federal task force to investigate and prosecute the massive voter fraud of multiple kinds that the Dem0ncrats & GOP Inc have been comitting…. To include the machine sabotage in AZ, the expelling of GOP poll watchers in Philly & Atlanta, the massive ballot fraud operations in WI, the rigged D0minion voting machines , and etc…. These should be slam dunk civil rights crimes.
I voted in Florida for the first time after moving from GA. It’s a lot better here. I had trouble every time voting in GA. In 2016 they said I had already voted. In 2020 & 2022 they said my address was wrong even though I made sure it was correct. Lots of fraud going on in GA.

I expect politicians to be shady. The badges however.. should at the very least be removed from their position(s) investigated and charged for their crimes. The people who were wronged should sue the department into the ground if they don’t.

I am a Poll Worker in GA, and the woman with the “Voter Protection” badge would have been quickly removed from the early voting location. Their Poll Manager is derelict of duty.
IF they were even actual elections workers.
