Missed everyone yesterday, but I got on late last night just to check up on y’all!
What fantastic uplifting news regarding Brian. So hopeful. He and Caroline got first billing in my prayers last night and it will continue. Our God loves warriors! ❤️ 🙏
Our neighbor’s well went kaflooey, so we had them over for food and bathrooms (not necessarily in that order!) and to fill water containers to take home. It was especially meaningful for us as these folks have come at a moment’s notice to pick up Lloyd off the ground and to bring dinner for us when things were low. Giving just a little bit back was so satisfying.
Off to Tucson today for more epidural injections. 🤞 this time will be more helpful. ❤️

Yes. I said to reed above one day at a time, which is how we, especially Caroline, are approaching the journey she and Brian are on. The path so far has been unfathomably quick to this point, and we are grateful. Today should have been their very first appointment just to be assessed for initial treatment. As Caroline said, she and Brian know waters are being parted. But both are realistic about the eventual outcome and are planning for that, too. It’s in His hands…🙏🏻

Yep, that’s our hope. Tucson is a big metro area these days (1,000,000 ), but prefers to think of itself as a little cow town. So…….in their infinite lefty wisdom, rather than build efficient highway systems, they built a “modern streetcar” that runs from the University of AZ campus to downtown. It’s mainly used by students to frequent the bars downtown and return to campus – all subsidized by the taxpayer.
Those who need to get to work(and pay taxes), stop at constant red lights on city streets overpacked with cars and lose their patience (and their gas) in the process. How very “green!”

Always a blessing to commune at the table here, Corny. They say cancer is curable, but they don’t want to collapse the profitable industry. They really screwed up with Covid, because it caused a lot of people to go on the hunt for alternative therapies and, guess what, many of us have found them. I posted a link to a Joe Rogan podcast with the Calley and Casey Means and the numbers on the increase of serious disease have risen sharply. What was 1:4 getting cancer is now 1:2. Very sobering, but the two were quite OPTIMISITIC and it’s a worthy listen to.

Eric Burdon of The Animals was a friend of mine as was their producer ( Tom Wilson produced also Dylan’s early LP’s and Simon and Garfunkel’s HITS ) of this GEM which really and ironically was my “anthem”. Still is.
It came out in 1967 when Burdon was my neighbor in Laurel Canyon and well… Needless to say. I have some great Eric Burdon stories from just as he was going “hippy dippy” in those “San Franciscan Nights” circa 66/68 or so.

In a zoological park in Thailand, a mother tiger lost her babies.
After their birth, they died due to a rare genetic problem, leaving the tigress alone. Shortly after, the zoo’s medical staff realized that the mother was sad, depressed, and that her health was getting worse. She was no longer eating, no longer drinking, and remained prostrate in a corner. It was obvious that the tragic loss of her cubs was likely to gradually make her die of grief.
So the vets had a funny idea: since there were no tiger cubs available, they placed a group of baby pigs, who were also orphans, with her so that the tigress could adopt them.
So the little pigs were put in the cage with her, and she immediately adopted them. Now, the piglets suckle at her teats as if nothing had happened! It seems that the animal shows extraordinary patience and tenderness for these animals, despite the difference in species.

JWoo – I have been hydrating myself like crazy for the last two weeks. When I don’t feel like I want to go, I don’t. But one has to beware of getting into the bad habit of not pushing. I have spent too much time laying on the bed watching TV. The ONLY way to increase strength and endurance is to do things that challenge your physical status quo and that is exactly what I’m doing.. Hope your own recovery comes along as you want it to.
Now, after having finished my BBQ pork sandwich with mustard and dill pickle and most of a 500 ml bottle of water, it’s back to bed.
Don’t forget the pickled pigs feet. I’m telling you…they’re a cure all.

You’d be surprised! My Mamaw loved them. I recall walking with her through the grocery and seeing her get some and thinking “NOPE!”. But she loved them. She was a tough, TOUGH country girl born in a log cabin in Eastern Kentucky in 1906. Four generations of my family lived in that little cabin. She worked in the fields and in the cabin helping take care of 8 brothers and sisters.
Man alive, could she ever cook!
I have cravings for her cooking still, and she passed away in 1999.
I’ve always heard you could eat everything on a hog but the oink……….and I won’t say I wouldn’t if I had to, but I’ve successfully steered away from pickled pigs feet……so far.
Mamaw was pretty much always right. Maybe we both oughta get a jar of pickled pigs feet and come back and compare notes!
Have friends who have similar history out of the hollers of Kentucky. Large families, small house, living off the land, poor in finance, but rich in Spirit. Family was everything to them. They were so poor, they ate pretty much everything.
As for me… I’ve seen up close and personal how pigs live and I think pigs feet is a bridge too far for me, but you go on ahead… I’ll watch!!! I totally trust you to give us a thorough report!
My Aunt Rosie down in Evansville was married to a hunter fisherman, ALCOA, man. Going to their house was always an adventure and my Uncle was a bit of a misogynist in what would be considered today, toxic masculinity. I was young and loved my Aunt, so I was her staunch defender.
Something I learned early was that when Rosie was cooking you always asked what was in the pots and pans before you partook. One morning, she was frying up pork brains and I dodged that bullet. They did try to trick me into eating rabbit once. Another morning, my Uncle placed a container of earth worms next to me as I was eating… I nonchalantly picked those suckers up and tossed them in the front yard. It was a love/hate relationship with that man.
I don’t recall eating much on those trips to Evansville. I just never was that hungry.

BBQ fixes everything, Rah! Lol. As far as hydration, I use those Liquid IV hydration boosters. Not too expensive through Costco and the flavors are good and not too sweet and weird. Some of them have energy boost which helps kid with her L-Theanine.
I think I had a little of what you had. Went to a big old, out of town, concert of 40,000 people… mingled with them all… totally fine. Come home and go to Costco… sick. Figures.
By the way, Rah, next time you’re having Braunschweiger, we have been cutting up fresh cucumber on ours and serving it warm on toast. Yum.

CREAM OF ANYTHING SOUP MIX:
4 cups dry/powdered milk
1 1/2 cups cornstarch
1/2 cup chicken bouillon powder
1 tbsp parsley
1 tbsp minced onion
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp thyme
1 tsp pepper
Mix everything together and store in an airtight container.
To Make:
1 cup chicken broth
1/3 cup soup mix
1/4-1/2 cup add ins
Whisk soup mix into broth. Add your add ins…if you want. Heat over medium heat until it thickens. It only takes a couple minutes. You can eat it as is or you can use it in place of any cream of canned soup.

How can you watch clip # 2 and NOT root for the baby dinosaur!!!! By the time she finished running the numbers there were a whopping TWO (2) men, statistically, in the ENTIRE USA that met her criteria. Two…..
But the woman who wanted this nearly fictitious unicorn was adamant that she should have such a guy. She only saw her “requirements”, not any personal attributes such as being able to make someone laugh, or character, or fear of God, nothing. Of course, it should go without saying (but I’m saying it) she was not willing to make herself worthy of such a man.

My children, I have told you before that a darkness is coming, a darkness that can be felt. This darkness will feel like it has set in and will not go away, a darkness that will be very heavy. You may be asking why Lord? Why does darkness have to come when You are Light? And Your glory destroys the darkness so why will it get worse?
My children, I never said this darkness was for you. I’m protecting you like I did My people in the land of Goshen where there was light when Egypt was swallowed up in a gross darkness. This will be the same. I am warning you of this because catastrophes will take place in front of you but you will not be a part of it. I did not want your hearts to fear. I did not want you to grow weary while you saw all these things taking place when it wasn’t for you. Your enemies are in for a rough road ahead but you are My children so separate yourselves from this mess with My Word and with My truth that you are in this world but YOU are not of it.
Some of My children will not heed these warnings and they will choose a path of destruction not knowing they didn’t have to. They will choose the evil report instead of Mine. My children you are living in not only unprecedented times but biblical times where scientists, atheists, and the world elites and anyone who is against Me cannot deny My power or My existence because of the things I’m about to do upon this earth for you children of Almighty God.
Just as Egypt couldn’t deny My power neither can these enemies you are facing. Their plans are doomed. Their empires will collapse into nothing because they’re against Me. The world will see that there is nothing and no power bigger than the Great I Am says the Lord of Hosts.
Your enemies are trying to strangle this nation until it has no more fight and no more breath left in it. But right when your enemies believe they finally have what they want.

I so appreciate you giving these snapshots of Julie Green’s messages. I listen to her as often as I can.
It is interesting that in the Srping, I had this overwhelming urge to learn all the Names of God. A dear old friend used to refer to them often and I was always fascinated – my ears would perk up! Alas, I have been remiss and unable to start a deep dive study into the Names of God. A friend here even posted a great start for it and I took a picture of it. It is buried I’m sure in my “to do” list.
Between the Revelation study with BSF, Savannah’s school, my work, and chores – we have little down time. We spend maybe 3 or 4 hours a week on television – usually a DVD that we are watching together, which could be Little House or the recent movie. Even during that time, I’m unable to sit patiently and watch… usually I’m tending to laundry then, making dinner, doing dishes. Even podcasts, I’m listening to while multi-tasking with my work.
I find the “busyness” good – because I would rather fill our minds with good things, rather than ringing my hands. Maybe I seem “crazy” at how “light” I feel – but when one focuses solely on God and understands the intent of prophecy… it makes the hazardous seem inert.
You are a dear blessing. Thank you for your encouragement as you continue to share and share. You are a good, giving soul! Love to you, Sis.
“My children, I never said this darkness was for you.” We need to remind everyone of this when their hearts are troubled. These things must come to pass for the recalibration. God Is Merciful and will not contend with us for long. He loves us.
Trivia tidbit of the day
Decades ago there was a sociological study done on adult women who had read and loved Laura Ingalls Wilder’s books when they were young children.
I have no idea what questions were asked of the participants, but I do recall, with good humor, that the vast majority of girls who READ THE BOOKS,(i.e., does *not* apply to the television series,) grew up to be staunchly independent thinkers who tended towards or were outright Libertarians.
Interesting, indeed, Biddie. I never read the books, but watched the series as a little girl. Simply put, there was a lot of God and morality in that series and it’s sorely lacking (okay… nonexistent) in today’s media. They really should relaunch the series – the cinematography and scripts are excellent.

I remember that tune playing on my Japanese-made 7 transistor AM radio at night when I put the little radio under my pillow when I went to bed, volume low, and tuned to 600 AM, WCAO Baltimore. That was one of my favorite tunes, as it was sort of a rock-n-roll lullabye… Yes I often woke up in the morning with the radio still playing… Went thru a lot of 9V batteries….but they were only 29 cents back then, I recall.
