We had a wonderful family owned business that was under another name…that she, the owner, sold to 7-11….prior to that, her business was thriving…the owner had a very warm relationship with all her local customers and people went there, because of that. She knew your name…what donuts you liked…etc…she also had a very dedicated staff…who also knew your name and favorite donuts…and even the names of your kids….
After she sold (Moved to show me MO)….the new owners…raised prices, neglected cleanliness and were rude to the customers, especially the women customers (yeah, that tells a lot)…guess what happened…they are struggling. I never see cars in the lot…and never see cars in the lot of another 7-11 that I pass…let ’em fail…let this be a lesson for other 7-11’s…you can’t treat your local customers like dirt.
You can’t treat customers like dirt and have a dirty store is so true. Our family has owned businesses since the 70’s and that is always the number ONE priority.
