They always want to amend the NV Constitution. NO. You don’t amend the NV Constitution by popular vote. Stupid.
The good people of Tax-a-chusetts successfully defeated ranked choice voting a few years ago. If they can do it, you can do it. The people didn’t defeat a law, as there was none written. The measure would have given the Secretary of State the authority to create regulations it deemed necessary to implement the ranked choice methodology. Nobody, no matter their affiliation, need have bothered ever voting again as the Secretary would have been able to adjust things as needed to obtain the desired outcome.
It’s quite the statement when the liberals in such a deep blue state were able to see the folly of ranked choice.
