I’ll tell you what I worry about and this worry existed before Obama stuck his nose, one again, into the black community to make them feel guilty if they’re considering voting for Trump:
I’ve heard more than one interviewed black male say, “Trump is a real man. You know what you get with him, and we did fine with him as POTUS.”
I know that the polls show Trump’s gain with black males, but I am worried that black males, esp of younger ages, don’t always fill out their ballots and send them in or drop them off. Black women will be much more likely to do so.
The polls are broken down into voters and likely voters, but I still worry about the black males handing in those ballots. I would also fear they had better not let their moms, girlfriends, or mothers “mail” their ballots for them. I’m serious.
Are you saying black men don’t know how to write so won’t know how to fill in their ballots so are too stupid to know how to vote? Just trying to figure out what you’re implying.
my interpretation is that the men dont consider it a priority, compared to the women.

Yes. I drove thru part of Pensacola Beach in early ’96, a few months after Opal hit in’95.
It was pretty much still wiped out. A gazillion tons of sand everywhere. They had scraped most off the main road but not all, and only few other places had been cleared.
Most of the homes and buildings were damaged and vacant.
We had gone there to see a close relative’s graduation ceremony from Navy advanced tech school located in Pensacola. The Navy facilities (not that close to the beach) did not appear to have been damaged or else any damage had been repaired.
But 6 months after the hurricane, the beach areas were still a mess.

Angela Lansbury was born to an Irish actress mother and English timber magnate and Communist politician father. Her father died when she was about 10. At the start of World War II, her mother took her and her brothers to live in New York City. In New York, Angela studied acting, then moved to Hollywood taking small film roles.
After some level of success, but finding herself typecast as an older villainous character, she embraced work on the stage. Finding success in both New York and London, she gained the ability to be more selective of her screen roles. In 1962, she won acclaim for her work in the film “The Manchurian Candidate”, and in 1966 garnered her first of five competitive Tony Awards in the title role of the musical “Mame!”.
She moved to a farm in Ireland in the 1970s, to concentrate on family issues, while continuing to work on the West End and Broadway. The development of the television detective series “Murder, She Wrote” led to her signature role as crime solving mystery novelist Jessica Fletcher. I remember as a kid I was mesmerized by “The Manchurian Candidate”. Ms. Lansbury, in fact all the actors’ performances, were extremely realistic. Her role as Eleanor Iselin was excellent, and to me perhaps only overshadowed by Khigh Dhiegh’s more villainous Dr. Lo.
Still, she was so good I could see why, as you wrote, she found herself typecast as an older villainous character….she was simply that good.
And Khigh Dhiegh was superb as the evil Wo Fat in the original “Hawaii 5-0″…

Not at all surprised… wondering which country is going to take asylum seekers fleeing from this regime? I’m going to be looking to move come election time, as we in Indiana are screwed either direction we go, unless they can dump Beckwith off the ticket and Braun truly is a good MAGA guy – consensus is out on that one as he’s thick with the Republican Governors Association and his policies have been vague and weak.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

…It’s so awesome when we ask God to reveal Himself. We ask God to give us those answers we are seeking. Remember He said in His Word, Knock and the door will be opened to you; Seek and you shall find. If we keep seeking and searching out God and asking Him for His direction, His answers, to deliver us, for Him to perform His Word – He will do those things. All He asks of us is to not grow weary, not lose heart, not faint, not believe the report of the wicked. Our Heavenly Father is asking us to believe in His…our 5 physical senses have no idea when or how He will even get to those answered prayers but God does. God is so awesome that no matter how long and no matter what we’ve ever been through, God is faithful and true. He’s asking you to believe and trust in His word.
When we are going through these times, when there’s war, darkness, evil, catastrophes, all things that are against us to destroy and take everything away from us…there is something we can do in the midst of a storm [physical or spiritual], we have safety and we can run to a safe place and that’s our Heavenly Father.
Prov 18:10…The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the [consistently] righteous man [upright and in right standing with God] runs into it and is safe, high [above evil] and strong.
It doesn’t matter how strong our enemies are and what evil plots and plans they have, we can run to God in safety. He will protect us no matter what the enemy has planned for us.
Ps 91:1-2… He who [a]dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand].
We can run into God’s power. We can receive and tap into that power. The Greater One lives on the inside of us….He protects. No foe can withstand the power of Almighty God. He is our safe place.
