Loaded UH-60 = 150 miles
With FARP’s located at edge of disaster (on KY and NC sides) area every Helicopter type and MV-22’s of the 18th Corps and Marines located in NC can deploy to the entire disaster area, lifting logistical assets and perishables.

I hope President Trump talks about how the NC governor is actively preventing aid supplies from getting into Western North Carolina.
For example there was a tractor trailer full of supplies from West Virginia bringing supplies to a church in the zone that has been distributing to all people in their county and even delivering supplies and food to the surrounding counties, and it was refused entry into North Carolina twice by North Carolina state troopers yesterday.
Preventing aid is even worse than not giving aid.
It is downright criminal. I heard that a FEMA agent was beaten up trying to stop people. If they keep messing with these people ,they will fear for their lives. We just got back from Hickory NC. Its about an hour east of Asheville. We left early this morning and didn’t see too much going up there. But coming back all we saw were convoys of law enforcement and semis with transformers and generators heading that way. Plus tons of pick ups, trucks, and trailers loaded up with water. I just started bawling…..made my heart feel so good and then when we got home I made another donation to Samaritans Purse! There are still good people in this country!
Asheville is mostly democrat, but I bet that changes after this! I’m telling you, its all over the local news that FEMA is nowhere to be found. Every day citizens are doing more than our government. Units based in the southeastern U.S. — like the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), the 82nd Airborne Division, the XVIII Airborne Corps, and the 2nd Marine Division — are currently under classified deployment or standby orders to deploy to Ukraine, Eastern Europe, Israel, Syria, Lebanon, Iran, Taiwan, or some other world hotspot, and they therefore cannot spare their units at this moment in time.
3. The classified readiness rates of America’s military helicopters and their crews are vastly worse than anyone outside the military understands.
4. Hurricane Helene damaged most military helicopters in North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee, and that fact is being kept secret.
5. The active-duty military assets are not needed, everything is just peachy-keen with the limited assets currently in use, and those limited assets are totally sufficient to do the job.
6. The conditions on the ground, the availability of aviation support units, and/or the availability of aviation fuel make it impossible to establish forward bases for the helicopters to operate from.
7. The Biden-Harris administration and/or the Democrat North Carolina governor are maliciously and deliberately denying or delaying the use of these assets for nefarious reasons only they know, such as, for example, making sure red counties in North Carolina cannot vote for Donald Trump.
