Israel Update:
My friends or by now I should say brothers and sisters,
This is not an easy one for me. I will have to withhold some footage to keep it less graphic and not. We had some very difficult days and I will try to keep my emotions away from influencing my reporting. But there are heavy emotions.
-Now is Rosh Hashana. “Rosh” in Hebrew means “head” and “Hashana” means “of the year”.
It’s the Jewish New year. It’s when one views the year that passed and wishes a better one to come. It’s typically a time of happiness and good wishes. Unfortunately we are having a bad start. But one must remember that we are better now than the end of 2023 when the overwhelm was deep. So to the points:
-We had a brutal terror attack in Jaffa that is a mixed Jewish Arab city adjacent to Tel Aviv.
Two Palestinians from the West Bank (Judea and Samaria) somehow managed to arrive with an AR and a knife, opened fire at a civilian train and later on people at the street. Everyone knows this street is one of the busiest in the area. Some 7 people were murdered and 16 injured. Five in bad condition. Some difficult sites like a mother who got shot to death while protecting her baby. A beautiful young international dancer murdered, etc…
I have the footage and I will save it to myself.
Now, they did it after they prayed in a local mosque and told the others there not to go out. This mosque was used also in another terror attack and the subject is under investigation. At the same time the Iranian attack started and it is also looked into if it was coordinated with Iran. Hamas took responsibility. The terrorists were killed by police and armed civilians.
We are used to such things but I find it still hard to watch the celebrations in the West Bank with candies and joy, etc… It’s so unreal. We never enjoy the death of the innocent. It’s unreal. This is why I keep saying that only education can change it. We must be involved. They are educated to be like that.
-So about 200 ballistic missiles fired at Israel from Iran.
Ballistic missiles go outside the atmosphere and are hard to intercept.
They are very large and can cause mass killings.
Israel has a system that is called Arrow 3 that is intercepting outside the atmosphere for this particular threat.
In the past they fired more drones and cruise missiels and also ballistic. It was easy to kill the drones after such a long flight, both by Israel and the US. The cruise missiels fly low and it was easy also to intercept. So they learned and focused on ballistic missiels.
They targeted mainly strategic targets like Air Bases, the nuclear reactor, etc… but they also targeted civilian areas on a wide spread across Israel.
The large number of missiels at the same time make it hard to stop.
The US helped with a few but most of the interceptions were done by the Arrow 3 system.
Over all you can call it a “success”, the interceptions worked very well and the Arrow 3 system is now a hit across the world. Germany purchased some in billions of dollars and will get them soon.
The success is because no one in Israel was killed, zero. Don’t believe the lies. It is zero!
You can’t hide casualties in Israel for more than a day. It’s a small nation and everyone knows very fast.
We had a few injured, not serious enough to worry about. Call it Divine Intervention or luck or good coordinated counter measures but those are the stats.
Also oddly enough from all those hundreds of missiels the only people who got killed are one Gazan who somehow managed to be in the West Bank. And a misfire in Iran which killed a few, I think 5.
But, we had damages. A couple Air bases got some damage. The Nevatim Air Base where some say the F35s are located got a huge rain of missies. I have it on video. There are probably some 10-20 hits (I estimate). Now, I served in a couple of bases like this. It is huge and you could drive from side to side of the base in some 20-30 min. Most of it is empty fileds around the perimeters and some empty fields around the take off area. The damage was to some maintenance structures and some Administrative structures. None of the Airplanes got damaged (We have them under ground in concrete structures), none of the operational strategic areas of the bases got damaged and the airbases are not out of operation.
I can’t elaborate but typically the jet fighters could be in the air to avoid getting hit if there is a long enough time to take off. We used to be able to have a jet fighter in a position ready to take off in less than two minutes from the time of a siren, this was in the standby units.
I also saw videos of falls of a couple missies in civilian areas and by miracles no injuries.
There are also videos of a rain of fallout from an intercepted missile.
Most of the videos that the arabs brag about are in the desert of the south (large Arab population in those areas who took videos). Our interceptors are very expensive and they calculate if a missile is going to land in an unpopulated zone and avoid waste. So many falls are in the desert. But again. There was damage and per the video it could be pretty bad.
Now, what would Israel do?
You understand that Iran is serious about anahilating Israel and are close to having a nuclear weapon? You undersnd it?
So the first instinct of Bibi was for sure to try to persuade Biden to attack the nuclear sites, a joint mission with Israel. Why would he ask Biden?
Because at least one of their main sites is hundreds of feet inside a mountain. Only the MOB (Motehr of all bombs) can penetrate it and even this one would probably need a few. Israel didn’t get the MOB, only the B2 Airplanes can carry it as it is very very heavy. Now, Israel have been working on this solution for a very long time, so there may be something that is classified. I wouldn’t know.
Now I am hearing that Biden is opposing to help with the nuclear sites is also pushing “restraint”. I am not surprised. He is also opposed that Israel will eliminate Hezbollah and Hamas. His all strategy and Obama started it is to accept Iran as a superpower and be nice to it. He doesn’t understand that Iran is a theocracy and is a Radical Islamic Nation.
Radical Islam by nature is for World Domination. They consider the US their worst enemy.
So you really don’t want them to have nukes. They are worse than North Korea because thay are willing to die for religious purposes and sacrifice many. Iran in their war with Iraq sent children to blow up mine fileds on suicide missions. They are not what you think of in terms of values and way of thinking.
So the second option is to either go after their oil fields that provide some 95% of their money. Or going after their leaders or something else creative that only Mossad knows.
Most of their oil is in one relatively small zone so it is an easy target.
Iran doesn’t have missile defense to amount to anything and are vonurable. Their population doesn’t like them and I had communications with an Iranian on Telegram and he said that 80% don’t like the rulers. So if there is a way to take the regime down it will be done.
But it is not likely as if we could, we wouldn’t have waited.
Ask yourself what would the USA do if Cuba fired hundreds of missile over Washington DC and Texas and targeting your nuclear sites and Air bases and over Los Angeles and over North Carolina and Florida. Biden is pushing restraint. But in our neighborhood Iran must see consequences or next time it will be 10 times worse. This is not a matter of revenge.
It is deterrence and also the head of the snake should be targeted at some point.
So again you’re likely to see an attack on nuclear sites if it’s doable or oil.
I think that the nukes may have to wait for a Trump Administration. Anything less than serious would have to be a result of a major “bribe” like providing Israel with the MOB bombs or massive munition shipments that we are lacking. Brace for oil prices hikes. Iran could block Saudi Oil. The way of God could be mysterious. An oil price hike may just give Trump the victory in the elections. Stay positive and look for the pluses.
-Bibi said they will pay for this attack.
-If this is not enough then yesterday we go informed of I Israeli soldiers killed. About 30 injured in Lebanon. A unit of special forces (Egoz Unit) entered an ambush in a structure. Tens of terrorists targeted them from a few directions with rifles and anti tank missiles.
It was bad visibility and there was some very heroic fights under fire to rescue the wounded.
I have to say that the instant reaction is “why not flatten those buildings before entering.
I have no answer. Maybe they are looking for tunnels in the buildings. Most of this operation is based on Intelligence data. May God bless their souls and heal the wounded and families.
Unfortunately also the entry into Gaza started with a disaster when an armored vehicle with soldiers got hit badly. It’s war. It hurts. It’s sad.
-So now Israel is planing a counter attack in Iran and Beirut has been under heavy bombardments while Hezbollah fired smoke 250 rockets into Israel but didn’t manage to hurt anyone. We also saw drones that arrived all the way to the center. Possibly from Iraq or Yemen. And our soldiers are moving on in Lebanon with very precise missions to clear the area. As a note in the battle that we got screwed eventually some 30 terrorists were killed. I now know about 50 dead terrorists in Lebanon’s ground operation.

We probably can’t take out the nuclear sites without US help, Biden will never help unless a miracle happens and he changes his mind. Yes, I know you don’t want America to be pulled into another war in the Middle East. But it is of American interest to not have a nuclear Iran who hates the US more than anything. A strike on the nuclear sites will not bring a war.

This is the first time that the Iranians threaten – even if not officially – to expand the missile fire to other countries. The Iranian threat is of course intended to raise concerns in Washington, that Israeli action against oil facilities in Iran will lead to a global energy crisis. So far, the countries mentioned in the Iranian threat have not addressed it.

My schedule of treatments is Radiation for 5days/week, for with Chemo also 5 days, then 2 weeks off, etc.
Anyway, I completed my first week, and learned it is AFTER they stop the chemo, that the effects kick in, chiefly being nausea.

Had a low grade fever today, knocked it back down in 3-4 hrs.

I have not heard that about chemo, that the nausea kicks in afterwards. It didn’t for me. They had very good anti-nausea drugs during chemo, the only time I threw up I had gagged on an asthma inhaler for the inflammation. Dry heaves for 10-15 minutes. Awful. I never had radiation though.
I sincerely hope you escape as many of the side effects of everything as you can.

Biography: Myles Standish was a military officer and early settler of Plymouth Colony. He played a key role in the defense and administration of the colony during its formative years.
Standish’s early life remains largely unknown. He served as a soldier in the Netherlands before the Pilgrims hired him as their military advisor. In 1620, Standish joined the Mayflower voyage to America and signed the Mayflower Compact.
Upon arrival in the New World, Standish led expeditions to explore the area and establish relations with Native Americans. He organized the defense of Plymouth Colony and conducted raids against perceived threats.
His aggressive tactics sometimes drew criticism, however, including from Pastor John Robinson.Standish’s most famous military action was the Wessagusset incident in 1623. He led a small group to confront Native American leaders, resulting in a violent confrontation.

Biography: Created the modern lockstitch sewing machine (U.S. Patent 4,750).
Howe’s machine contained the three essential features common to most modern machines:
1) A needle with the eye at the point.
2) A shuttle operating beneath the cloth to form the lock stitch.
3) An automatic feed.
Howe was commemorated with a five-cent stamp in the Famous American Inventors series issued October 14, 1940.
In 2004, he was also inducted into the United States National Inventors Hall of Fame.

Prayer in Fasting
Father God,
You Are The Giver of life. You set the stars in the sky. They shine at Your Pleasure. You Are a God of Order and not of chaos. At Your Word, the dead will rise, and the enemy will be defeated.
Father, we can scarce believe our eyes – the stories so horrific – and so common – we are becoming immune. Murdering babies left and right in a show of pagan worship to evil spirits who will never be gods. They are filth and dirty rags and those giving up the minds of children deserve Your swift vengeance.
For parts of the world, rocket fire has become common, a source of glee and revenue for the devil worshippers and their military industrial complex. Have they never heard of Jericho and how You made great cities and “complexes” fall? Yes, Lord, You Are Mighty and You Are Willing to save!
Even now, You organize and prepare Your Heavenly Armies for the proper timing. On the clouds You Will Ride on Your white horse – and every knee shall bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ Is Lord! Your Eyes are blazing fire, Your Feet are like bronze glowing in a furnace, Your Voice the sound of rushing waters, and the double-edged sword emerges from Your Mouth to vanquish the evil worshippers and the Nicolaitan church who went along to get along – both of whom You Hate.

Come quickly, Father, and tear down what You Must. Rebuild us anew, in Your Perfection, where we may live with You in Eternity forevermore.

Just read your post from last evening. It is interesting how the veneer of vacation sheds a different light on things?!
So much so, Corny, so in my mind I would ask… did we temporarily gain “freedom” from a prison here? How can one go from one place to another a mere 3 1/2 hours away and feel soooo different?
The people in St. Louis were so outgoing and communicative! So many so sick and tired of it all and one even saying that “St Louis gets a bad rap. If it bleeds, it leads…” so the pretending there seems to have stopped, at least in the circles we were around. Maybe tourism matters – where we live now, there is no tourism to speak of.
I just don’t know. I know, for sure, we were blessed in our travels and God went with us – He and I have this affirmation thing that happens, so I know He Was (Is) with us. Can only pray against the “bondage” and prepare, prepare.
We ordered our pet supplies earlier than normal – I customarily stock up for winter, so I’m not transporting heavy things to and fro during winter months. This year, I started a bit earlier than normal and ordering more than normal, so if there are supply chain interruptions – the kittahs are covered.
We, humans, are covered for the most part and I’m filtering and filling more 5 gallon jugs for storage. Just need my prescriptions refilled and getting a hold of the doctor right now is like pulling teeth. Their online system is intermittently down. Cyber attack? Don’t know – can’t get through on the phone either.

So thoughtful of you to ask. In the main, things are definitely better. He’s scheduled for another spinal injection, though the efficacy of the first is still in question. Trying to
cut down on pain medication, but, it’s difficult.
Good news is that he is steadier on his feet. Phew!
Patience (the virtue, not our sis!) has never been in my quiver, so we shall just have to be glad for improvement and continue. ❤️
Praying this next injection will bring some relief which will no doubt have him feeling more confident on his feet. Praying for steady!
Not praying for “patience” for you… the quality… will always pray for our Patience and Ma… but I know how those prayers go and God just makes you exercise through it. Patience, the quality, is my long-suffering twin!
Having been in a position where triage was one of my responsibilities, I’m seriously appalled at the lack of reaction to urgent if not emergent problems. As a consequence, people clog up ER’s and wait behind sore throats and stuffy noses – for hours.
We sat in the ER for 6 hours before someone recognized the gravity of the situation and sent him by ambulance for emergency surgery in the middle of the night. It could and might have ended quite differently. 😔
I heard a statistic the other day that I think has bearing on this – 80% of MD’s practice within a group/corporation/conglomerate. They have contracts that can limit the number of patients they must see. And, of course, you lose the personal relationships solo practices build with their patients.
Just this week, we received 2 notices that physicians Lloyd had seen were leaving their groups.
I am fortunate to live in the past as far as healthcare goes. I have one doctor. He’s been my doc for 38 years! He is in solo practice and still uses paper charts – no computerized records. Yay! When you call his office, there is no phone tree. You speak with someone you know. I threaten him with unspeakable consequences should he consider retirement. We are both old farts so I told him he can’t quit till I croak first!
I hear horror stories of the ER here too… neighbor’s Mom was in need (gone septic with bad UTI) and three local ERs had five plus hour wait times.. looks like the destruction of healthcare is complete.
I have no idea where we would turn for urgent care… thus try to be as equipped as possible at home and pray against medical need.
Thank God sometime recognized Lloyd’s condition and got him help. Lloyd still has things to do here for God.
Yes, destruction of Healthcare is an integral part of the communist plan to bring us down.
We too plan ahead with many different supplements (and reading material to use efficiently) and also prescription meds which we buy overseas, enough for family and friends also.
In fact, last week, we got a letter from Health and Human Services saying they were confiscating one of our orders!!!
But, being an inefficient, incompetent government agency (redundant, I know), it had already been delivered by a government agency only slightly less inefficient! 😁

The ER is one of the first places illegal aliens go to. The case load has therefore outgrown the ER’s capacity. In April, I needed to go to the ER . . . got right in in literally minutes. I got there via EMS wich apparently made a difference.
No more ER visits for you, Garrison. You must behave yourself so as not to make us women-folk here worry and wring hands! Glad you found a way “around” the lines???!!! No, not really, though others may find the tip here useful should the need so arise!
You just stay safe and sound and tucked away from calamity. Tink needs her steward and we need your good humor, refinement, and sophistication!

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.
Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
