This is our customary Treehouse Church Sunday benediction. Years ago Bet and I discovered this wonderful rendition of “The Parting Glass” by the Face Vocal Band. Playing it just seemed to define our Open Thread community in a way that said we were in fact . . . a church. This is how The Treehouse Church and this Sunday benediction appeared. We are pleased to say it has become something of a Treehouse tradition. Our Sunday benediction is intended to be a very personal reminder of how much Our Lord loves us and looks after us. All he asks is acceptance. Do that and you’re in. Honest. Have a wonderful and blessed Sunday and an equally wonderful and blessed coming week, Treeper friends.

Israel Update: 
-First I would like to apologize for the typo errors and some embarrassing errors from my yesterday’s update.  I promise to pay attention in the future.  It’s important for me be clear about the info and mood in my area.  I may repeat some things today which were not 100% clear yesterday.

–I don’t know where to start and how to catch up.  So much is happening.  I doubt that there are proper reports in the West about what really going on.  

We are living in Biblical times.  What is happening looks consistent with biblical stories.  
There is a major historical shift in the War.  It all happened in some 10 days since Israel decided to take care of the North border for real.  To do so we had to be at a good point in Gaza.  And we are indeed. While I was questioning some of our own reports from Gaza, I now feel confident to report it because we get no more (hardly any) rockets to Israel, hardly any IDF killed at all for weeks, 23 of the 24 Hamas Battalions are dismantled and while there is a lot more work to do, they no longer have an army, they have some guerrilla terror groups and we are now taking hold of their money flows.  I can only say this because a relatively small IDF force is holding Gaza and there is no much going on aside for Israeli raids where they try to reorganize.  Almost all their Command structure were killed.  

-So After the beeper attack and the Walkie talkies attack and assasination of their Acting Chief of Staff with the Command of their Radwan Force (their Elite Force), Operation Northen Arrows began and the systematic elimination of munitions began.  We were getting hundreds of rockets and many drones as the operation is going on.  But with God’s help and good work of the IDF we have no people killed and hardly any injuries.  This really makes one think of Devine intervention.   I mean I have seen videos of direct hits, of rockets hit close to driving cars, etc… Israel was still hitting hundreds of rockets and missiles and drones and manufacturing sites of munitions and weapons as of the past 24 hours.  In Beirut and other cities.  

–The Attack on the Headquarters:  It’s now becoming more clear what happened.  
It was planned before Bibi went to the UN to give a speech.  We were receiving a coordinated letter from Biden and many Western nations demanding us to have a ceasefire.  Bibi went along with it and the reports were that we are willing to negotiate.  At that point I was furious as many others as it was a huge error to stop mid momentum.  But little did I know that this was just Bibi “going along with it and making it look like business as usual”.  
The trip, the “going along with it”, etc… made Nasrallah and Hezbollah feel safe to convene.  
Some say they were also there to watch Bibi and respond  (could it be that their last images before they got killed were of Bibi?).  The F-15I squadron over the operation was a half Reservists and Half Mandatory pilots. Until an hour or two before the attack they didn’t know who was the target. It was kept secret and only Squadron Commanders knew.  The US was not informed until a very few minutes before the attack.  
The Intel arrived and Bibi approved the strike a half an hour before the speech.  
Now we know that the pilots took some actions to not be detected in advance and in some three seconds loads of one tone bunker buster missiles hit the target that was under a building.  Others followed, everything took seconds. We are talking about 80 tones of about 1 tone bombs.  No one could survive it.  The high command meeting of Hezbollah was burried.   The IDF learned the lesson from 2006, then we dropped 23 tones of bombs and it was not enough to break the bunker and Nasrallah survived.  
Lebanon reported 6 dead but it is expected to be 300-400.  We already know that the Commander of Hezbollah’s South area was killed too and the Leading General of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard for Lebanon was there too and killed.  
This adds to thousands of seriously injured Hezbollah people from beepers and Walkie talkies and we now have all the high command structure of Hezbollah eliminated aside for one Commander that now people suspect that he was a collaborator.  

-This followed with rockets and drone attacks from Hezbollah which didn’t manage to kill or seriously injure anyone.  

-Then the Commander of Hezbollah over Syria was assassinated in Syria. Then today a leading Commander in the Intelligence Force was assassinated.  

-Hezbollah is managing to fire maybe 10% of their capabilities.  They are crushed, no high command , no safe communication systems, many missiles destroyed.  
And now Iran’s leaders are blaming Israel and saying that “Hizbollah will win” rather than that they will help them.  I said before, Iranians consider Arabs a lower race. They now are throwing them under the bus.  Iran’s Supreme Leader is taken to a safe place himself.  

-Israel attacks passage routes from Syria to Lebanon to prevent the passage of munitions from Iran. Israel takes over the radio of a flight from Iran to Lebanon and threatens that it must return to Iran. It did return. Israel prohibits flights from Iran and Syria to prevent Iranian war supplies.  

-Rumors that the IDF is about to invade from the ground.  I can tell you that we will likely take over South Lebanon down to the Litani River and clean it up, create a buffer zone.  
How will we prevent the IDF from being attacked in the buffer zone in the future is not known to me and is a liability.  There could be a diplomatic agreement. But this area of South Lebanon was already decimated for months and it should be rather easy to take over.  I bet there is no major presence of Hezbollah.  

-You may not know but Nasrallah has been a nightmare of Israel for decades.  He  understood the internal issues of Israel and would tease Israel constantly and threaten. 
He is behind the death of thousands of Israelites over decades in Israel, Lebanon, and even Argentina and other nations.  He is behind the death of hundreds of Americans and tens of French soldiers.  He built Hezbollah and turned it from a small terror organization to the largest terror group in the world with missiles in quantities that pass what  NATO nations have.

-Celebrations across Israel. Major TV programs start with sweets and music. 
People are dancing in streets and there is a wave of relief and joy in Israel.  
It’s not over and we can have challenging days but it’s a historic moment and people feel it.  
Sunni Muslims in Syria are also celebrating.  We see signs from Syria who congratulate Israel.  Nasrallah was a part of the suppression of the Syrian Rebels along with Russia and Syria’s leadership.  We see videos from Iranians congratulating us and asking to take out their Supreme Leader to.  

-Biden and Kamala both publish similar statements.  Supporting the attack and its results and saying that “a diplomatic solution should be reached”.  Double faced as one could tell.  

-Whatever will be in the future, in the present we got them on the ground. Humiliated and laughed at in the Middle East. That means a lot in this area.  We gained the deterrence back after it was ruined.  We gained confidence and showed the world that we are still the strongest power in the area.  We showed the Muslims and antisemites that there is a huge price for messing with us.

Rudolf Diesel
(1858-1913)

French-born German engineer who invented the diesel engine, disappears at 55 aboard the ship Dresden in the English Channel

Biography: Rudolf Diesel created the diesel engine. This engine, which bears his name, remains widely used in various forms of transportation and industrial machinery.

Diesel was born in Paris to German parents where, at age 12, he received a bronze medal for his academic performance. He later moved to Germany and studied engineering at the Royal Bavarian Polytechnic of Munich under Carl von Linde.

After graduation, Diesel worked for Linde’s refrigeration company and then moved to Berlin to manage a refrigeration plant. During this time he first began developing ideas for a more efficient engine.

In 1892, Diesel started work on his new engine design. He aimed to create an engine more efficient than the steam engines of the time and after several years of development and testing, successfully demonstrated his engine in 1897.

Diesel married Martha Flasche in 1883, and they had three children. His engine design gained popularity, and he became wealthy from the royalties, however he faced criticism and legal disputes over his patents.

In 1900, Diesel further demonstrated that his engine could run on peanut oil, showing early interest in alternative fuels. His engine design was adopted for use in ships, locomotives, and factories.

On September 29, 1913, Diesel disappeared while traveling on the SS Dresden across the English Channel. His body was never positively identified and the circumstances surrounding this incident remain a mystery.

Diesel’s legacy lives on through the widespread use of diesel engines in transportation and industry. He was posthumously inducted into the Automotive Hall of Fame in 1978 in recognition of his significant contribution to automotive progress.

In a large-scale air operation today (Sunday), dozens of air force aircraft, including fighter jets, refueling and intelligence planes, attacked, under the direction of the intelligence wing, military targets used by the Houthi terrorist regime in the areas of Ras Issa and Hodeida in Yemen. The IDF attacked power plants and a seaport, which are used to import oil.
Through the attacked infrastructures and ports, the Houthi regime transfers Iranian weapons to the region, and supplies for military needs, and thus also oil. The attack was carried out in response to the latest attacks carried out by the Houthi regime against the State of Israel.

Throughout the past year, the Houthi terror regime has been operating under the direction and funding of Iran and in cooperation with the Iraqi militias, in order to harm the State of Israel, undermine the regional order and disrupt global freedom of navigation.

The IDF is determined to continue to act and harm anyone who poses a threat to the citizens of the State of Israel, and at whatever distance it takes.

Samaritan’s Purse responds to help with storms and crises around the world every day, but now the storm has hit in our own backyard. Hurricane Helene slammed western North Carolina and the surrounding area, as well as Georgia and Florida. Homes have been flooded and some even washed away, trees are down, tens of thousands are still without power.

We need volunteers to assist with mudding out homes, cutting down trees, tarping roofs, and removing debris to help families get through this.

Samaritan’s Purse is also helping with a field hospital unit in the parking lot of the local hospital to provide oxygen for patients who have no power at home. We would be grateful for your prayers for all those affected by this storm.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD

Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.

I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.

Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.

May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.

With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.

Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me. 

Thank you Father God, my Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit, that I am more than a conqueror in my Lord Jesus. I pray all of this in the mighty name of my Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ, Amen.
