Israel Update :
-For decades we were told on the media that Hezbollah has hundreds of thousands of missiles and a war with them will mean hundreds if not thousands casualties and all the infrastructure messed up, possibly no power etc…
Apparently at least for now it looks like the IDF worked it all out.
In 24 hours 1600 targets were destroyed. Apparently the IDF had the locations of the munitions and missiles and figured out how to destroy launchers before or right after they use them. The Intel is down to the level of individual houses. It is not discussed on media but it may be that the Mossad is going to win this war.
About 500 killed and over 1,500 injured with no casualties at all in Israel. A complete domination of the situation.
I am sure that the Liberal media will cover the “genocide of Lebanon” and the “innocents” but the IDF also gave them time to evacuate, I have videos of how they phones of the Lebanese magically received voice messages to evacuate and their radio was taken over with messages to evacuate and flier to evacuate. The operation focused on destroying their munition storages which they created in two decades. Nasrallah miscalculated and created a formula of daily back and forth with the hopes to exhaust Israel and its economy. The motion of civilians also takes important place. Israel had some 60,000 – 80,000 citizens dislocated. Now all of South Lebanon is dislocated hundreds of thousands.
This creates pressure in Lebanon because Hezbollah has many enemies in Lebanon. The name of this operation is “Northern Arrows”.
What was attacked are:
Heavy Cruise missiles DR-3 which can reach 1000 Kilometers and can escape interception.
Heavy rockets with a 1,000 Kg warhead. Similar to the one that killed 12 children in a soccer game and injured many.
Mid range rockets that can reach 200KM.
Rockets that can reach 50Km.
Drones that can reach 100 KM.
Israel had about 600 Hezbollah people killed since 10/8 and now the numbers are multiplying.
The IDF also attacked once in Beirut in an attempt to kill the number three of Hezbollah who is over South Lebanon (by Israel). At first there were reports that he was killed then Hezbollah denied it. We estimate that he is injured.
Hezbollah managed to fire over 200 rockets at Israel. All the way to Haifa area and and deeper up to about 100KM. Iron Dome intercepted most of it. Some landed in open areas and a few made it through and caused damage but with God’s help no one was seriously injured.
-Israel is under intense pressure from Biden and his Administration to not invade. This explains me the strategy of the IDF. I mentioned it before and will repeat. The IDF is intensifying the strikes and giving Hezbollah a chance to make a deal. The only deal Israel can have is a cease fire and Hezbollah withdraw a few miles past the Litani River.
In my opinion this is all a chess play to not burn bridges with the US.
Everyone with an understanding of the Middle East knows that honor means everything and they can’t just surrender.
But this is a bit biblical, like the story of Exodus, when God inflicted strike after strike and Moses kept saying “Let my people go”. Eventually it was so bad that the Pharaoh gave up.
-Nasrallah lost almost all the high Command. Radwan Force that was their elite force has lost its command too. The Hezbollah is overwhelmed at this moment of time. They are at the lowest point since their inception. This would be an ideal time to move in. But Bibi is still scheduled to appear in the UN and fly over this Wednesday. He delayed to Wednesday.
If there was a ground invasion he wouldn’t go. But this could also be a misdirector and he could cancel in the last moment.
If the IDF permits it to linger then we will be in trouble as the toll on the economy and the society is high. We must put an end to the wars rapidly. When we see in Gaza at the moment is more of raids than a full war at the moment.
-Some rumors that Sinwar (Hamas leader) is killed. Because he went off communications and the last few communication from him were not typical for him. I can’t tell what’s the truth but I doubt that it’s a true report. We shall see.
-Netanyahu said in a meeting today that “the goal of the operations is to disconnect Hezbollah from the war in Gaza. (In addition to securing the return of out citizens to their homes).
-I have to mention that the center of gravity of Hezbollah is in the Dachia neighborhood of Beirut. The destruction of this neighborhood is Hezbollah’s nightmare. The civilians there have already fled. This must be the next target.
I am also sure that we are looking for Nassrallah their leader. He has a good reason to seek a deal. But I doubt that he is there yet.
-I have to mention that even if we took out more than a half of their missiles and they still have 50,000 missiles, it’s only the beginning and we could be heading to a long war of attrition and a mess, so over-cheering is a mistake.
Israel must not repeat the Gaza error and linger with hopes of diplomacy and get into a year of back and forth while the international community is all over us. So we will see how it’s going. For sure it’s a good beginning but no war was ever won from the air alone. The high Command said that we are expecting some difficult days and challenges.

When Syria had a civil war and Assad their dictator was fighting the Sunni enemies, Russia, Iran and Hezbollah assisted him on the ground and saved him. Therefore they now have freedom to operate in Syria. Syria is between Iran and Israel. Hezbollah was known for its cruelty in Syria and have many enemies there. Sunni and Shia have a long history of wars between them. Iran therefore will not go to war for Hamas. They arm them and use them against Israel but they are Sunni and considered inferior by Iranians.
So over the decades they managed to deliver enough. Iran is smart and patient and persistent.
This brings the subject of why Israel is not attacking in Iran. And that is another subject. But if Trump get elected you may see us attacking their nuclear sites and oil.
So I don’t know the exact number of precision weapons they managed to upgrade or smuggle but it is probably in the hundreds and could have been thousands if not for the War between the wars. Iran also tried to create a front in Syria on Israel’s border and Israel prevented it every time they approached. It was also a part of the war between wars. I hope the answer is good enough.

I think Blinken was one of the main architects in the disastrous US withdrawal from Afghanistan, him and Jakey Sullivan.
I think those two (and others, probably) were instrumental in undercutting the military in directing the withdrawal, they wanted Dept of State to be the stars of the show

The trend has been that Atlantic Hurricanes over the last 10 years or so have been getting smaller but there is a fair chance Helene will be a larger storm, having a further reach than any that has hit the US in the last few years. Lee was the only really big Atlantic hurricane last year and was no longer a hurricane when it touched the tip of Maine.

American children’s author (The Cat in the Hat, Green Eggs and Ham), dies of cancer at 87
Biography: Theodor Geisel published over 60 books during his life, 44 as Dr. Seuss for children and he remains one of the most beloved children’s authors. Ironically his first children’s book “And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street” was rejected 27 times before being publishing in 1937. Other titles followed after WWI including “Horton Hears a Who!” (1955), “The Cat in the Hat” (1957) and “How the Grinch Stole Christmas”(1957).
A number of Dr. Seuss’ books were designed for very young readers such as “The Cat in the Hat” and are marked by a more pared down vocabulary while still using his trademark drawings and rhyming style. A number of Dr. Seuss stories have been successfully adapted for film and television and in 1984 he was awarded a Special Pulitzer Prize for his contribution to children’s literature.
Geisel is also well known for his more adult cartoons, during WWI he drew many anti-fascist cartoons for newspapers and periodicals and joined the army as a Captain in the animation unit. Geisel is also remembered as an commercial artist, drawing advertising for Standard Oil during the Depression.

Just before that story swept the news I was sitting in the waiting room of the car dealer and struck up a conversation with a guy who looked to be in his 70s. The crazy old coot started telling me that the bee population was in danger, blah, blah, blah. He even gave me his business card. He seemed lucid and knowledgeable, but mysteriously dwindling bee populations just seemed to be a reach to my thinking. Maybe six months later it was everywhere in the news. I wish I had kept his card.

The great majority of those bees are on my hummingbird feeders right now! I’ve taken to hanging two feeders together (10 of them), so the birds get a chance. Geesh!
It’s like the media putting out the warning of hoards of cicadas from the 2 broods emerging at the same time this year. Here in Mississippi was supposed to be inundated with brood X. We had very few cicadas this year of even our normal annuals. No hoards of any of them.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I receive your holy peace now my Lord, from the sole of my feet to the crown of my head, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. As I take up the shield of faith, I ask that you might extinguish every dart and arrow that is launched from the enemy to take me down spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, and every attempt of the enemy to destroy my joy. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. May my faith always be out in front of me like a shield. Give me the courage to “faith my fears” by choosing to walk by faith and not by sight, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

Something went through my high school, over half of my classes (and I) had a mild cold this last weekend, but it had symptoms that were not a cold (mild nausea). My body had definitely seen this bug before but it got me mildly sick before the immune system whacked it. One student mentioned that it was covid. It raced through the school like wildfire but there were NOT a lot of absences. We have not a lot of vaxxed people around here, so I think it is natural immunity and we have yet another cold virus.

Evening Prayer For Forgiveness
Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me through this day and Lord, forgive me for the times when I have wandered outside Your best will for me, instead of trusting You implicitly.
Thank You, that You are such a gracious Shepherd to me and that You come and rescue me even when I lose my way and stray from the path that You have laid out for me.
As I look back over today, I know Lord that there were things that I should have said and done differently, and times when I reacted in a manner that was not honouring Your holy name. Forgive me I pray, but thank You, Father, that You always faithfully prepared to gently bring me back to Yourself.
