As it is with most laws, the Constitution isn’t the problem at all. The problem is that we don’t *follow* the laws we already have, and there are no consequences for lawbreakers.

The same problem confronts both sides: how is real accountability finally settled without further destabilizing an already polarized country? I fall more into “let the chips fall where they may camp” than the “let’s put the past behind us” camp. It’s a tough call politically.
But this is all getting ahead of ourselves. Win the election first. Have a strategy ready for immediate execution the day after inauguration. Attack major domestic problems first – rampant gangs, border control, law enforcement, etc. Drop the hammer with a velvet glove on Congress. Throttle back the neocon/prog war machine. Prioritize security/safety first. Restore rational decision-making to federal budgeting through required appropriations and authorizations – enough of this baseline budgeting that the politicos have been using as a weapon since Reid/Obama took control. Then, turn attention to the longer term challenges of jailing miscreants/deviants/traitors, restoring judicial system integrity, systematically purging the country of extra-legal foreign presence.
Install senior leadership in executive departments that knows how to play the game. In particular, and I’m not sure how this is done since so much of it is hidden, institute a major over-haul of the IC – assuming the global security situation allows such an inward focus.

Charging up cars.
Fission reactors are good, they can keep the lights on, but issues remain unresolved. First, the fuel rods. Zirconium replaced stainless steel, because the stainless rods would split open in the case of loss of coolant and spill fuel onto the floor of the containment vessel. Then the zirconium rods were found to catch fire in the case of loss of cooling water and spill the fuel also. This is 1960 technology. Research is needed specifically to design new fuel rods that can survive overheating intact. This is materials science and well justified by safety concerns. No one is doing this research, because there is no money for nuclear fission research anymore.
Burning uranium necessarily creates plutonium. Only France and Russia reprocess spent nuclear fuel to extract the plutonium and recycle the fuel. We stopped doing it, because it was believed that setting an example of not doing it would discourage other countries from making bombs. This is Jimmy Carter reasoning. In reality, this policy left us with tons of spent fuel no one wants, and other countries were not impressed. If the spent fuel were reprocessed, mixed fuel could be produced for use in commercial reactors. Research is needed to create an automated process to reprocess the spent fuel, using robotics available today that were unavailable in the 1940s, when people did it by hand. And we need the money to build a new facility to do it.
If spent nuclear fuel is reprocessed, then the issue of high-level nuclear waste becomes manageable. Isotopes that remain can be encased in glass and safely stored above ground. Today the spent fuel remains in pools inside the reactors. We perpetually study plans to store high level nuclear waste, in caverns and on paper, but actually doing it never happens. There are too many what ifs. And the money for building facilities for doing it that will never be used is frankly lucrative. Reusing the fuel will be best, and the same process is used to dispose of fissionable material in bombs.
We ought to return to the negotiating table with the Russians to resume making the world safer by eliminating old nuclear bombs. They can and should be eliminated, every single one. The Pentagon has its precision, pinpoint accurate weapons today, so the big bomb blunderbuss is unnecessary for a strong defense. We should demonstrate that the human race does not have a death wish or thanatos, and that we can cooperate to make the world safer.
But fusion would even be better. Less dangerous and safer byproducts.
Fusion research has been ongoing for probably 50 years. Problem is, at the temperature and pressure necessary, all known substances for containment either melt or explode. Each time the Europeans report they sustained a fusion reaction for a thousandth of a second in their research facility, it takes five years to repair the damage to their tokamak.
Or so they tell us anyway.
The bigger issue, if cold fusion can be done though is, that if used, look at all the revenue streams and those with their hands in the cookie jar that would be left out in the proverbial cold: fission, solar, wind, gas, oil, coal, etc.

There have been some encouraging milestones reached, like the JET reactor in Europe. 2 milligrams of fuel (a piece of dust) releasing 69 megajoules of energy in 6 secconds. (1 megajoule will power 1600 average houses). But there’s a long way to go to get one to actually run for a long time and to harness the energy released.

Commercial radio stations do not have the reach they once had. The Left does not have a monopoly on ALL sources of information. People listen to favorite music on the Internet using their smartphones via streaming services.
It is to silence primarily “right” leaning stations, most of them on the AM band.
I haven’t listened to regular radio in years. The digital age is where it’s at. All the music I like or podcasts to listen to at the touch of a finger. No commercials and no annoying DJs yammering the narrative. Nothing annoys me more than the news blips at the top and half hour of pure liberal propaganda.

It’s like why are all these little children, primarily little boys, being diagnosed as autistic? First of all, it’s the test and second of all it’s the vaccines and third of all it’s the food.
I really would like to see the test they use to say some little 5 year old is “on the spectrum”. I ask about this because for awhile there was this fad called “early kindergarten.” The poor kids were forced to spend two years in kindergarten and it was base on a test in which the child had to draw a hangman stick figure and if they deviated from the exact per-determined figure they would have to go to early kindergarten first before real kindergarten.
I know someone who was told his son had to go to early kindergarten because he put a mustache on the figure (his father had a mustache so why is this odd). The parents said no way, he is really smart, the tester said he will not do well, they insisted and he went to regular kindergarten and he ended up being the smartest kid in the class.
So I wonder if this autism thing is pasted onto kids who are independent thinkers.
If you look at a graph of when autism began to increase, it corresponds with the introduction and wide spread use of cell phones and then it jumped again with the introduction of the iphone.

Part of the problem is that often the people who make money from the condition are the ones that diagnose it.
Real kindergarten used to be the place where you were taught things like how to follow instructions, etc. to prepare you for regular school.
Now they want kids to prepare for kindergarten, and they teach reading in kindergarten.
My opinion is that pushing reading on kids so soon, before most of them are ready, is what turns so many kids off to reading.
Kids don’t collectively read better than they used to, they read worse.

I dunno about this. I remember kindergarten pretty well. We started with the alphabet and phonics sounds, and writing the letters, and by the end of the year most had learned to read and were in various level “reading groups”.
Myself, I think it’s the quality of the teachers has gone downhill since feminism sent so many smarter women into other fields, plus the implementation of crackpot learning theories (“whole word” memorization rather than phonics) plus “mainstreaming”, plus overly-large classes and administrivia, not to mention non-English-speaking students and inability to discipline, all rendering good teaching near impossible.

I don’t remember kindergarten as a place to learn to read; that was first grade. We did learn colors, probably alphabet, I don’t know much else other than it was fun no pressure. But I may have forgotten a lot although I remember my kindergarten teacher’s name: Miss Bliss. We all loved her.

I was tracking the MN dept of Health website weekly during covid. Another thing that is never reported is how and why did Walz do what he did.
First, there were models by UofM paid for by state of MN that showed deaths from covid would vary from about 20k to 50k depending on mitigation methods.
Turned out there were less than 10k. So, the models were worth shit and were never updated with real time data because the data would have shown that MNDH and Walz were wrong about everything. I called half a dozen times asking when the models would get updated and they all acted like that was something they never knew should be done.
This is after the idiots had flowery statements bragging about updating the models and keeping us informed. There has never been a loading of all covid data into these models as far as I know but Walz shut down churches, small business, funerals, weddings, and gatherings, and allowed big box stores to stay open anyway.

The Federal Communication Commission quietly decided Friday to delay a buildout that would bring internet to rural communities.
That decision has been slammed by Commissioner Brendan Carr as “the worst abuse of agency process I have seen in my twelve years of working at the FCC.”
Dish Chairperson and longtime democrat donor Charlie Ergen was given up to three more years to bring service to the most remote communities in the US by the FCC last week — without giving the public or internal FCC officials any input.
“I have never heard of the FCC granting relief like this with no process, no public input, and no heads up,” Carr told The Post.
“The Democrats in FCC leadership cut a secret, backroom deal—one that kept the Republican FCC Commissioners and perhaps others completely in the dark—and then hustled it out the door on a Friday afternoon.”
