Biography: Isambard Kingdom Brunel is one of the most famous figures of the Industrial Revolution in Britain. Born to a French engineer settled in Britain, Brunel first worked for his father on the Thames Tunnel.
In 1833 Brunel was appointed chief engineer for the proposed Great Western Railway. Brunel made the far-reaching decision to choose the broad gauge in place of the standard gauge. This decision enabled the trains to run at faster speeds and was eventually adopted throughout the country.
While working for the Great Western Railway, which ran London to Bristol, Brunel was responsible for the design of many impressive bridges, viaducts and railway stations.

PRAYING ON THE ARMOR OF GOD
Father God, I now follow your command to put on the full armor of God, because my battle is not against flesh and blood but against rulers, authorities, the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the unseen world.
I first pray on the Belt of Truth that it may be buckled around my waist, may I be centered and encircled by your truth dear Lord. Hem me inside all that is true and right, and may I be protected and held up by the truth of your living word, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Breastplate of righteousness, please protect my vital organs and my inner man, cover my integrity, my spirit, and my soul. Guard my heart for it is the wellspring of life, please strengthen and guard the most vulnerable places in my life with that which is right, good, and noble that I might not receive a fatal blow from the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
I pray on the Gospel Shoes of Peace. I choose to stand in the shoes of your good news, and on the firm foundation of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the solid eternal rock. All other ground is sinking sand, I pray that I will not slip or fall, but that my feet would be firmly fitted on your lordship, my Lord Jesus. I choose to stand on you, so that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus, the eternal Rock of Ages. I pray the Shield of Faith into my hand now. I ask that my faith in you would make it flame out. Extinguish every flaming arrow that would come against me, my life, my family, my home, or my ministry. I pray on the Helmet of Salvation, that you might protect my mind from the thoughts that can lead me astray. I choose to take every thought captive, and arrest all intentioned ideas and motives that would harm others, or distract me from your holy will for me. I submit every captured thought to the Lordship of my Lord Jesus Christ, and ask that you would imprison those thoughts that are not of you my Lord. Transform my mind and renew my thinking that I may think God thoughts, and have a sober mind that is focused on your glory. Please protect me from being double minded that I may allow my mind, I reject to live an earthly life, because I choose to live a holy one, governed by you My Lord Jesus, the prince of peace, please have my mind to be saturated with the holy mind of Christ, in my Lord Jesus name.
Finally, I take up the Sword of the Spirit which is the holy word of God, I pray this powerful offensive weapon into my hand, and ask that your holy word would be fitting for every encounter I face. As the enemy gets close to me, please give me the insight, wisdom, and skill to wield the word of God to drive away the enemy, in my Lord Jesus name.
May the enemy and his team flee from me, upon hearing the word of God spoken by the power and direction of the Holy Spirit. Give me the sword of the spirit to cut through the wiles of the devil, so that I may discern the schemes of the enemy when he is near.
With all kinds of prayers, supplication, and intercession I pray to you my Lord God as the one who fights my battles. Now that I’m in your holy powerful armor, I walk away covered and ready to face my day as you go before me, and please protect me in the midst of the spiritual warfare in this unseen world, in my Lord Jesus name.
Thank you my Lord, for the spiritual weapons of armor and prayer that you have given me. It is written no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses me.

I had to leave BSF for a couple of years because I couldn’t find an in person class to attend to coordinate with my work schedule. The online is JUST THE TICKET and I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
It’s so informal and the group from all over the world is amazing.
This is my second Revelation study too, but was told that it has been revised and improved. I kept my old one and got a quarter of the way through it with Savannah.
Now, daughter studies along with me and I’m overjoyed to share it with her… and YOU!
It’s FREE folks, so if you could use a deep dive into faith study to help steel your nerves and rely more heavily on The One Who Holds the stars…
Go to MyBSF.org and register. There are in person and online classes. Goodwill offerings accepted but not mandatory for this legitimately thorough and amazing study group. Denominations and politics are left at the door… and only the Word of God matters.
It’s the most intensive and beautiful study I’ve ever known. There are men’s and women’s groups.
Plus, as an added BONUS… if you download the BSF app on your smart phone… it reveals the entire 2024-2025 Revelation study… plus the prior studies going back to 2017.
If we all studied the Word of God as much as we study the tragic comedy in our faces… we would be much more secure in times of tribulation because we know how the story ends.

I attended a BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) class in person about 25 years ago.
It was on the book of Genesis. Loved it! It was so interesting.
They only use the the Bible.

It is important to note that while the Bible is the study, they also give historical record and testimony to the happenings of the time during which The Word was written. It lends much to the credibility of the written Word of God, especially for those who fear it is a book written by men and thus subject to error.
What I love about Bible Study Fellowship is you can take it everywhere with you. Meaning, if you are traveling and if I leave Central Indiana and go to London… I can drop in at any worldwide Bible Study Fellowship gathering and that group is studying the exact same thing we are at home… or, you can now access online as well and take it anywhere.
Can you imagine… millions and millions of believers studying and praying at the same time? It’s powerful, powerful stuff.
BSF started, just a few short years ago… printing out their book of study materials (helps save on ink from my printer!) This year’s Revelation study – 3-hole punched version – is $17 and the wire-bound is $19, plus shipping. At the in-person sessions, they had weekly printed out copies.
I’ve kept my BSF studies in three ring binders and I reference them at times. It has blessed me beyond measure.

Ladies if you are interested and have children, be sure to check to see what classes are available for kids. You will love it. The styled children’s curriculum follows along w/what the adults learn. So they learn/pray while you learn/pray. (Our group in central MO now has infant, preschool and now home school grades.) Ladies studies and men’s studies – separate.

Church isn’t just for Sundays… and our kids have such good, quality experiences through things like BSF youth programs, AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed – a student scout-like program for fun and Bible memorization), and Upwards Basketball, Upwards Soccer, Upwards Cheerleading – all Christian youth based with sportsmanship and Christ focused… and not break-the-bank expensive. Most programs are free or have very little investment – just your time. Also, if you can’t afford participation in AWANA or UPWARDS… ASK!!! There are scholarships available and families like mine are not going to stand by and leave anyone out.
Church doesn’t have to be stodgy, suits, dresses, and regiment. It can be energetic, joy, sweat, and healthy exercise!
For everything we do, we do unto The Lord for His Glory. Christianity is wholesome living and it is fun! Just watch these kids have fun, learn Godly principles, and bloom!
We adults need to keep pruning and blooming, too…. so exercise your minds and just check it out. Even if you’re just a little bit curious!

Bold and arrogant, they are not afraid to heap abuse on celestial beings; 11 yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not heap abuse on such beings when bringing judgment on them from[d] the Lord. 12 But these people blaspheme in matters they do not understand. They are like unreasoning animals, creatures of instinct, born only to be caught and destroyed, and like animals they too will perish.
13 They will be paid back with harm for the harm they have done.

The Valley of Dry Bones
37 The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones. 2 He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry. 3 He asked me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”
4 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord! 5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath[a] enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”
7 So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone. 8 I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.
9 Then he said to me, “Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Come, breath, from the four winds and breathe into these slain, that they may live.’” 10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet—a vast army.
11 Then he said to me: “Son of man, these bones are the people of Israel. They say, ‘Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off.’ 12 Therefore prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. 13 Then you, my people, will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. 14 I will put my Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord.’”
