The Backlash and Professional Toll However, the “Dark Alliance” series was met with intense scrutiny from the outset.

One thought…flocks of Canadian Geese usually have one or two ‘guardian geese’ doing vigilance around a flock nibbling at the ground…and they can be fiercely aggressive in protecting the rest of the flock….
Maybe they are running from a border collie herding them off to somewhere else…am hoping!
It’s hard to catch a goose. This may sound silly, but I used it as a rehab exercise for my torn Achilles. Wild goose chase. Never came close. The Haitians must be doing more than bare handing them.

I did a juvi nursing gig long ago….the facility had a huge pond and a goose problem….the geese came and stayed, generations of geese, year after year…we used to watch them being taught how to fly…that was cute…however…
….they knew they were safe…one of the CO’s used to take the bread off the kids meal trays and tear it up and toss it in front of the health care unit, to feed them….and they were protective of their nightly treat!
A big ol’ nasty poppa goose chased me back into the building–on several occasions, flapping those ginormous wings…. and stood by the door so I could not get out! I had to leave via the back door….It was like the goose knew we would try to leave again….they ain’t dumb!
I used to have geese (ten). They are intimidating, but once you have been bitten by one (they usually go for the tendons of the ankle or knee), they are easy to catch. A handful of popcorn kernels will bring them right up. Geese like ducks need to be taught to fly. Mine were killed off by bob cats and coyotes.
I doubt that the Hattians are catching wild geese, or cats for that manner.

Domestic cats that are indoor-outdoor cats are sometimes very easy to pet outdoors even if you’re a stranger so I doubt catching them would be a chore.
We had guard geese when I was a kid growing up north of Atlanta. They would chase me to my Mom’s Volvo in the morning before school.

I caught two – with a little help from a fence.
They were stuck in a vineyard, couldn’t get enough height to clear the fence, and it was more of a two-handed assist to help them clear the fence than actually grab them.
Try not to get your eyes pecked out. Florida wild turkeys will light a body up at the drop of a hat. Speaking of, it’s almost Turkey archery season! The beauty berries are in full bloom in my back pasture!!
They will go for the head, and the eyes,…and are fearless in dispatching rattlesnakes, so pretty formidable.
It probably helps when the geese are accustomed to being around people and receiving bits of food from them.
Hold out bread. They come in close because they are used to humans feeding them. Snatch by the neck or head. I’m not sure why this would be hard to do.

In general, individual Federal agencies are not responsible for Prefunding or payments for these costs.

It also requires most new retirees from USPS and their families to enroll in Medicare Part B when they are eligible in order to keep their retiree health coverage. These changes will start in 2025.

She is not a natural born citizen. Sadly people think “birthright citizenship” comes from where you were born. Open a BIBLE. What do they mean when they say birthright? “By right of birth to have something FROM THE PARENTS.” The constitution does not define natural born citizen. It is a term from British Common Law of the time of the writing of the Constitution. It means specifically that inheritance of citizenship by birth comes from the FATHER. And that the father MUST be a citizen before that can be inherited.
But we live in stupid-land with a lot of stupid-land court precedents. This happened when the 14th amendment was used to grant rights and/or citizenship to Chinese migrants and their children. In California. I like Lindell’s suggestion for those states that automatically send ballots to all. Go in person to polling place with the mail ballot. If poll worker says you already voted, you have a case of identity fraud. Because you brought your mailed ballot with you, there is proof.
Polls available for in person voting, 10 days prior to 11/5 in CA. So, I can early vote and ensure my ballot not handled by postal worker.
As for who is counting, I’m nit in a position to observe/monitor. This state’s officialdom is so far gone, who knows what will happen. However my Sheriff is terrific.

In 2020 President Trump “lost” the popular vote by 6 million. 5 million of those votes came from CA. They have no voter ID and the largest number of illegals than any other state. They are most assuredly far gone.
Yes, do you know anyone who, in 2020 or 2022 said that when they went to the polls on election day, they were told they already voted (by mail) and when they insisted they had NOT, were given a Provisional (will never actually be counted!) ballot?
That was a “flipped” vote, and actually counts as +2, in the tally.
This is just ONE of several ways they have if disenfranchising OUR votes, that can be avoided by REQUESTING A MAIL BALLOT, assuming they are available to you, filling it out, sealing it in the envelope and then taking it to an ealy voting location, and signing the envelope, in front of the poll worker.
This is you best bet, to insure your vote is counted.
The WORST way you can vote, is to wait until election day, and try to vote in person, ON election day.
They may tell you you already voted by mail, and shuffle you off to a will never be counted provisional ballot, they may insist you use a provided sharpie pen fir marking the ballot, which bleeds thru, setting your ballot up for adjudication (where it will be detirmined you intended to vote for Harris) or the tabulators will malfunction, ..or your precinct will be shut down by hazmat, because a mail in ballot had white powder alleged to be fentanyl,…
and your vote won’t be counted (-1) or worse, will be counted as a vote for Harris (+2).
Boycott the piss out of USPS during Christmas, that is if you are in a financial position to send anyone anything this Season..

Hope it works. Sherrod has been running effective ads all summer, while Bernie has been MIA until recently. Sherrod’s ads make him sound like a likeable moderate, who has been backing and creating bills that help working class families and veterans. He just ran a great ad about how Wall Street “predatory investors” (e.g., Blackrock) are buying up houses and boxing out the middle class from home ownership, and that he has a bill to put a stop to it. If I didn’t know better, it would get my vote.
I really hope Bernie can play catch up, and that President Trump’s coattails will pull him over the finish line.

I saw an ad with a clip of PDJT at a rally, seemingly referring to how Sherrod tries to align himself with him (by touting that he voted with President Trump and the Republicans on this or that issue, and by not campaigning with Biden or Harris) and PT saying, “He’s not with me! Vote for Bernie Moreno!”

Actually, I’m not so sure about that. The state Republican Party has always been big on backing establishment candidates like DeWine, Kasich, and Matt Dolan. Bernie Moreno and JD Vance started out running for Rob Portman’s seat, and PDJT and Moreno agreed that he would step aside so there wouldn’t be a splitter effect with too many MAGA candidates. PDJT eventually endorsed Vance, and I think with the idea that he would endorse Bernie next time when he ran to unseat Sherrod.
I believe it was Trump’s endorsement that gave Moreno a strong lead in a 3-way primary race over Establishment guy Matt Dolan, and Ohio Sec of State Frank LaRose, who also identified as a pro-Trump guy. I think Trump wanted to reward Moreno’s loyalty for stepping aside by backing him this time around, and his endorsement made the difference in the primary.
But since then, Bernie has run a weak campaign. It felt like a bait and switch, where he was a strong candidate till he won in March — and then he sort of went MIA all summer, while Sherrod ran great Hallmark ads that reinvented his image as an almost MAGA moderate, like RFK Jr. If he beats Sherrod Brown, it will be more because PDJT has given him a boost, and hopefully does a rally with him again, than because he was a great candidate.

In the first case it was at a crossing of a 4 lane divided state highway with about a 15 foot grass median between the two pairs of lanes. The light turned green for me, slowly started across the road and about the time I got to the middle of the crossing a car filled with obvious illegal aliens blasted by in front of me by about 3 feet at 60 mph+.
The second time was a similar situation at a different location – but now I wait for a second and scan both directions AFTER the light for my direction turns green – and a large diesel pickup truck with illegals in both the cab and the bed of the truck (looked like illegal alien construction workers) blasted through the intersection about 2 seconds after the light in their direction turned red.
They don’t pay attention, don’t give a damn, and usually don’t have insurance.
